What a powerhouse team despite 2 straight decades of very few first day draft picks and no unrestricted free agency. I like watching the earlier Gibbs teams from 81-87 when they were a little less stacked with talent but won so many games.

I was at this game as a 14 year old. Was so fun rooting on my Redskins! Ironically, I'm an Angels fan as well, so it's strange seeing Anaheim stadium like it was back then.
I remember this game. The Redskins were coming off their first loss of the season as a week before they lost to the archrival Cowboys at home, ending their hopes for a perfect season. But they came into this game with the opporunity to clinch the NFC East title with a win over the lowly Rams. They played flat in the first half as it was apparent they were still feeling the psychological effects from the previous week but then came out swinging in the second half and got back to the same form they had showed all year.
Feared Mitchell when he was with the Redskins. Always a threat to return a punt or kickoff for a TD or a great return. But I loved him when he became an Eagle.
