- There's only TWO Witcher School swords in the entire game of The WItcher 3 that DO NOT have crafting diagrams, therefore cannot be crafted.
The only way to acquire them is by finding them in the game, and they are very tricky to locate. However, they are both well worth picking up!
One of them scales upon pickup, so can end up being very powerful if picked up when Geralt is a very high level. The other is exclusive to the Hearts of Stone expansion, providing just one instance in the entire story to pick it up, before its gone for good. This HoS one has a fixed level requirement of 39.

The Aerondight is a Relic, not a Witcher School Sword :)
Teigr is a Cat School Steel Sword, and Viper Venomous is a Viper School Sword.

theres also swords that characters give you which you cant craft, like the "Iris" that Olgierd gives you in hearts of stone. Also the Tesham Mutna sword in Blood and wine.

Apart from the viper venomous steel sword that if you miss in the vault you can't get the diagram until a new playthrough O_O It's such a fab game though!
The first sword I literally don't even think I ever seen it ever in any video had no clue about it. The viper venomous silver sword however I somehow have two in my bag but I definitely picked one up from the o dim quest but I am pretty sure I crafted the other one.

@@GamerGrade Thanks Jay :) i am trying to make my very own 3d screen assets, text effects and screen effects from scratch, its sounds simple but i have spent lots of time doing it and still doing it, so its pretty time consuming, it also will help me save time with video editing as i always had to separately make my effects from scratch, which used to take up a lot of my editing time before.
Also been downloading more meme videos, soundtracks and sound effects to add on to my videos but now i am trying to reorganize the files in categories so it makes it more cleaner and easier for me to use.
Sounds like you've been busy my man, self improvement and learning / applying new skills is the key to progress for sure :)
Could definitely do with more time to get stuff done, but i always say, as long as you're having fun doing it, thats all that matters 👍

There's another piece of witcher gear you can find in Blood & Wine. It doesn't apply to your video since it's a diagram, but it's a named witcher sword. It's called Fen'aeth and can be found on a body in the Elven Sanctuary Ruins located east of Termes Palace Ruins. Always thought it was interesting.
Additional side note: Yen's dress that you put on with your drunken buddies is also labeled as witcher gear for some reason.

The diagram is green, denoting that it is witcher gear. When you actually craft it, it's just a relic.

I ran out of time while in O'Dimm's realm, so I rushed into the end, missing the sword. Dang. Had to materialise the sword using the console command. Lmao!

I find it funny that I got Teigr, Viper Venomous and Iris in the first playthrough i ever did.

I prefer to get Teigr when I am on clean up mode to get it at highest level possible. At level 100 it has 20 more attack than the steel sword you get from the unseen elder.

In your opinion ... is it better to put greater runestones (X3 QTY) than to put one of those runeword enchanted perks on a sword? The runewright's perks seem to meh a little.

You can find the viper venomous sword diagram in the vault for the Harry’s of stone dlc mission

Yes they are well worth picking up! Try and pickup the Teigr Sword much later as it will scale to Geralts level and be more useful for longer :)

I think the two headed sword is from the School of the Viper, and the rounded one is a Wolven School sword. 👍

Iris steel sword from Olgierd cant be created. Aerondite as well....sorry for spellings. And that poker and shaft thing from the grave digger servant as well. Actually you cant craft mace and axes as well lol

I play this game more than 2000 hours i have platinum trophies 100% psn trophies on EU version I’m planning to but US version to do all that again .

I wont lie even in 2021. The Witcher 3 still looks better than most games nowadays and would easily make it on a PS5 or Xbox Series X if they made one for it :)

Unfortunately without loading a previous save game before reaching the specific point, the only other ways are by starting a new game, or by doing it in NG+ 👍

I haven't been playing much recently unfortunately. I just keep playing Far Cry 5 or New Dawn coop with some friends since I love playing FC coop. However, I'm thinking about getting Spyro. It's just for 14 Euros here :D
I did play Valhalla for a few hours round a mates and was definitely impressed. It looks superb! No doubt you'll like it if you loved Odyssey. Maybe wait for all DLC to release and a big discount on the full package.
The Witcher 4 is definitely in the works, i just hope it lives up to all expectations, which is pretty sky high from my perspective lmao.
I loved the Far Cry games, pure open world co-op fun, I think 6 is out soon, so may give that a go depending on reviews etc?
Is that Spyro Reignited Trilogy? If so then i personally recommend that you get it, especially at that price! If you enjoyed the originals, then you will love the Trilogy, its clearly evident it was remade with real love and passion, exactly how a remake should be done :)

DLC endings dont affect main story
The main problem people face is they pick up the 1st sword way too early you see if you do not pick up the sword right away and only pick it up right befor you start A NG+ it will be a better level
Yes this is correct! As the Teigr Steel Sword scales to Geralts level, its best picked up much later, a higher level than Grandmaster 🍻

Armour you get for the tournament I was on lvl50 at the time that became my best armour and till I got the best armour set in the game that’s locked behind the what lies unseen the mistake many people make with that quest is they pick up the armour and steel sword right away that’s wrong as the only sword that you should pick up is the Silver sword as it will disappear if you go back there befor you start a NG+ and pick up the set then you will have a the best armour and steel sword in the game but only catch here is it will ONLY scale too lvl 100 ..
On PlayStation4, 4 PRO my game time is over 1700 hours on my XBOX 1 x and series x well over 2,000 + hours

Small question. What's the best steel sword in the game?
The best Steel Sword is the level 48 Toussaint Knight's Steel Sword. All you need to do is acquire its crafting diagram and craft it. Go to 13:44 in this video to see where it is: ruclips.net/video/aDWR6DCizEY/видео.html
i think its perfect time to ask it. so you can craft all other weapons you found? and last one can you make your gear level up?
No problem, in answer to your questions:
01.You can only craft gear that have associated crafting diagrams, which you loot from the environment, recieve from Quests, or can buy from Crafters. Anything that does not have an associated diagram, will not be craftable, such as the two swords detailed in this video, as well as many Relics.
02.The only gear you can level up are Witcher gear items (Specifically Cat, Bear, Wolf, and Griffin School sets). You can also level up the Aerondight Silver Sword, the most powerful Sword in the game. Everything else cannot be levelled up. Some items will also scale to your level upon pickup, such as the Teigr Steel Sword in this video, or the Aerondight Silver Sword.

When I start a new game plus, do I have to transfer all my crafting materials in my stash in order for it to carry over?
No you can leave those in your inventory, no need to move personal inventory items to the stash.

Hmm strange ive had another report from someone they just had dead bodies but no quest. It must be a bug. Have you checked your failed or completed quest logs to see if Secondary Quests 'Where the Cat and Wolf Play', or 'Take What You Want' are listed? As well as the 'Contract: The Beast of Honorton'. Also you can directly visit the location of Gaetan's secret stash to see if its blocked by a boulder or accessible? However this is an unmarked location on the map so difficult to describe!
This quest was originally free DLC. If you are using the original version of the game, install the updates and all the free DLC packs. If you have complete edition, then I’m lost.
Any swords can be procured with debug console !

Unfortunately he needs to tell you about his hidden stash and give you a key, otherwise it will be inaccessible if you kill him.

They are both the same, as in used for Beasts, Humans and Non-humans.

Wait, so when you get the viper sliver sword in hearts and stones the first time. You can't get it again in the second play through?
Ahh yes you can get it again in NG+, only for the current playthrough will it become unavailable if not picked up :)

@@GamerGrade Oh, I recently heard that CD Projekt Red is gonna do Witcher 4, but it's not gonna be called Witcher 4, but it's in the same universe as Witcher and they said it won't contain Geralt. They haven't confirmed about it, but they're like hinting at it in the following year or next year

Teigr is a Steel Sword from the School of the Cat, and the Viper Venomous Silver Sword is from the Viper School. All other Witcher swords can be crafted using diagrams. 👍
