How to Get Viper Serpentine & Viper Venomous Witcher 3 Gear Sets

In this video, ill be showing you how to get all 8 pieces of Witcher gear, from the School of the Viper. Two of the four available swords are powerful starter swords called 'Viper Serpentine' swords and are ideal for your first 10 levels.
The two remaining Viper Swords are late game swords called 'Viper Venomous' swords which come with a full set of matching medium class armor. These two Venomous swords, as well as all 4 pieces of the Viper armor set, all possess a minimum level requirement of 39.
Unfortunately the two serpentine starter swords do not come with any matching armor set. However, they are the ONLY two Witcher gear items that can be crafted at an Amateur level Crafter / Blacksmith. All 6 pieces of the level 39 Viper gear set, require Master level craftsman to craft.
The two Serpentine Swords can be acquired at any time during your play through, however, being starter swords, they are best acquired soon after arriving at White Orchard.
All 6 pieces of the level 39 Viper set are exclusive to the Hearts of Stone Expansion, and to obtain them, requires you to take specific actions during its main story. Failing to make the correct choices during certain events, will mean you’d have to re-load a previous save, or try again in NG+ for another chance to acquire them.

Personally, I would absolutely love if CDPR made a game set in Witcher universe, in which, you can create your witcher and choose which Witcher school you wish to belong to. After that, you can set out on your own adventure, maybe even come across Geralt as an NPC :)
Now that would be the ultimate Witcher game, choosing your own path which significantly branches depending on your choice of School, in terms of story, gear and environments. The replayability would be incredible! 💯

Lol i love Skellige Isles! Id either choose Cat or Bear School as my first choice. However this is assuming things would be the same as in The Witcher 3. In a new game there would most certainly be new lands, even more beautiful and immersive than Skellige, as well as new gear / skills for all Schools :)
Lets hope the Witcher 4 lets us customize the protagonist as much as we'd like 🍻

Just started playing this again only up to level 15, but your videos have helped me immensely, I'd forgotten how much there is to do in this game lol but it's really sucked me in once more, although I'm not looking forward to the grind to get all the grand master witcher gear sets again lol took me ages getting the coin each time, still I've got a long way to go before that, got plenty to do before I even start the blood and wine expansion 😂

Lol yeah it definitely takes time to appreciate Gwent, which is why i think they included the Tournaments as well as so many random encounters, as the game is truly brilliant in itself. They obviously spent a lot of time making it as good as it is.

@@GamerGrade I’ve played TW2 and TW3 all expansions on Xbox 360 and PS4, but I have a PS5 now and when the next Gen. version of TW3 comes out, I’ll start all the way from the beginning because the graphics will look better. I’m bookmarking your guides closely to help me out and take advantage of your tips and guides! Netflix’s version of The Witcher movie has spawned a whole new breed of players eager to play TW3. I used the Alchemy build heavily before but your Alchemy build looks better than anyone’s I’ve ever seen; plus your knowledge of it is incredible!

I think there actually is 2 more steel swords and Silver swords belonging too this set BUT THEY ARE NOT viper swords
Steel faithful friend lvl 44, Belhaven blade lvl 45
Silver swords Tahrel lvl 44 and Gesheft lvl 45 ( there is a sword with the same name in the land of 1000 fables)
Now if you look closely on the hilt of all swords there is a symbol of a viper on them all if you look at the stats of the 2 steel and silver swords and compare them too the viper set you will see that all the stats are the same but the stats gets better at each level with the last steel and silver of the 4 I just told you about having the best overall stats of +5,+25, and +5 too the Aard, critical hit damage bonus and critical hit chance I do Believe they are another 4 of the viper school of Witcher’s and the Rune master can craft all gear BUT grandmaster gear

I did notice the Viper symbol on the Belhaven only, which has much better stats all round to the Venomous. I did think it strange it wasnt mentioned in any Viper related quests, documents or notes. I missed the symbol on the others you mentioned so have taken note.
There must be some relation to the Viper School thats not revealed in the game?
Another point if you look at all school swords on the Handel of the Basic swords of all sets is there is nothing but when u upgrade there will be a line on the Handel the bast sword like master crafted will have or grandmaster will have 3 but what I think is strange is they are all Witcher swords BUT the 4 that I told you about are WITCHER swords they are NOT green as the rest BUT are Brown like other relics

You can also get Fen'aeth (quest Feet as Cold as Ice) lvl 48 silver sword with the same attribute as the Viper Venomous lvl 39.
Hey ! I got my second aerondite in NG+ of the maximum damage of 1000 , but when I equip it permanently reduce to 30 WHY i m at level 100 .😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 plz tell me

What swords are good after level 10? You dont mention these in the videos Unfortunately. New to the game and your videos help me a lot
Griffin Witcher Swords at level 11 are the next best after level 10.

Hey, a very off-topic question, but how do you get into this 'photo mode' kinda mode where you just see the landscape? Is it like a console-only setting? Because I can't find it on my pc.
Its a part of the mod called Debug Console Enabler, after installing it you just press F1 to enter/exit freecam mode.

I have a question. So currently im level 11 and once I beat the game, I plan to have another go at it again with NG+ on Deathmarch. But I want to make sure I have some pretty high level weapons. I kinda wanna get both Iris sword and that cool saddle but I know I'd need to go through the two quest outcomes both on NG and NG+. But I was wondering on which order you recommend I do it? Should I just let Olgierd die in my current playthrough and get the saddle now, then just rescue him in NG+ to pick up Iris and the Viper Sword at a much higher level?
If you plan on using the Iris as your main Steel weapon as soon as you get it, then id go for the sword over the Saddle. However, if you're likely to replace the Iris soon after getting it, then the Saddle would serve you better, as no other Saddle in the game, can assist you in combat.

I have a problem, it's like the diagrams vanished, i went to Hattori, to Jona, even to the runewright crafter of the hearts of stone expansion, nothing, no sword nor armor appears from those diagrams I've bought during the auction of the house before the redarians kick me out (and i kick them back before the "shady individual" approaches me about the next steps of the quest

Try opening the main menu, click on Glossary, now click on Crafting, do they appear there?
I dont take the silver sword diagram in hearts of stone is there another opportunity to get that sword?

Unfortunately it only comes in Mastercrafted quality.
Hey i new this game, that is a best build and gear in this game?
Its very good gear but Its debatable which is the best, as that depends on your your character build, but in general all the Witcher School gears sets are the best in the game, with a few exceptions such as the Aerondight Silver Sword which is a Relic, and Tousaint Knights Steel Sword. However these are both late game high level swords 👍

For your first play through you cant go wrong with Cat School gear and focusing on the Fast Attack comabt tree :)
Also partner the Cat School Witcher gear with the Cat School Techniques General Skill/Ability to maximize damage. 👍
