I'm glad i watched this, was unsure if i was gonna upgrade the runewright to the highest level, but none of those words are too appealing to me. What are your favorite rune or glyph words to use?
Excellent guide, very quick and straight no bs and nos long explanations that take the viewer for a complete moron, 👍btw the runeright is expensive af !! He used 5-15k crowns to buy a small tent, distiller and a chair 😬.
Thank you for the positive feedback, much appreciated! Glad to hear the guide was helpful for you 🙏 I agree, splashing out the full 30K Crowns on the enchanter is only really worth it if you are super rich. He obviously stashed most of those funds elsewhere lol. However, the initial 5K Crowns is definitely worth it for his socketing service alone :)
Thanks for the recommendation! I was actually thinking of doing a coin guide but then i found most people just use this glitch: ruclips.net/video/VnhTYeaJukQ/видео.html I tested it recently and it still works well! 👍
You should do a few videos to prepare for the next gen update, you can do a improtant things reminder video or somthing, I'm currently rewatching all your witcher 3 videos to prepare and remember important stuff.
Yeah I was actually thinking about that, but then i soon realised, everything i would say is already in this beginners guide: ruclips.net/video/TGrc-N3Qu0E/видео.html 👍

You are most welcome 🙏 Yes its actually a mod for the PC version. I got a bit fed up with the limited carrying capacity. Although rto be honest it does break immersion somewhat lol. Hope you're enjoying the game 👊
@@GamerGrade for whatever reason, I really like how the camera is positioned when overburdened. It feels like I can get a better look at the world. And since, naturally, Geralt would walk from point A to point B, instead of running, it feels more immersive. Thus, I overburden myself on purpose.
Oh man.. i purchased the lesser glyph of infusion diagram and it wasnt showing in the upgrades tab, thats how i ended up here. Had no idea it was in the components tab :d
Pretty sure the pellar is cheaper since after the quest forefathers eve he gives a 25% discount in his shop, this also means if you sell stuff it's 25% cheaper though
Yeah it takes some effort to unlock the only two mastercrafterss in the base game, with lengthy mid-level side quests, but well worth unlocking them asap ;)
Thanks Connor much appreciated :) 🙏 You mean the red armor? If so then thats the Grandmaster Griffin Witcher set, all dyed with red armor dye 👊 Thanks for watching :)

No all runes and glyphs will be transferred to the higher quality item. However, Enchantments from the Runewright will be destroyed when you upgrade the gear. 👍
What is an easy way to know whether an item can be obtained buy dismantling another item? As opposed to go through every item you have to check if one of them will yield the item you want?
Yeah there's no easy ingame method besides manually checking the results panel. However here's a list of Junk items that may be useful: witcher.fandom.com/wiki/The_Witcher_3_junk
Does all the enchanting rune and glyph carry to NG+ ?, Because it it expensive, need 30000 crowns to do, and how about all item that we stash inside the chest? It is gone or carry over to NG +?, Because i'm about finish the game and start NG +, thanks, (1,62 patch)
hey there, did I miss the Info WHERE to find the Armorer/Blacksmith, who can actually forge those greater glyphs etc? the Diagrams I already have by now. 🤔
Consistent selling throughout the entire game of armor / weapons / upgrades etc looted during questing and exploration. You need to factor in this habit early 👍
Glyphs are coming out of my ears, nose and mouth, waking up in cold, igni, glyphy, cold glyph sweats in the night. Eating, shixting, sleeping glyphs at this moment in time, glyphing it up baby, glyphing it the F up.
@@GamerGrade Bro, I'm asking myself oh how to do this or that, ok let's see what GamerGrade have, then I see myself sitting on the border of my chair doing the guide, lol
Yes i do indeed Geralt, although i only covered the Griffin Silver Sword: ruclips.net/video/DjoWmbewX1w/видео.html Its a similar process for all other swords, just some different materials 👍
I wonder how long it took for CDPR to design and come up with this crafting system. Many games fall into the trap where crafted items are completely useless, Way to powerful, or u have to farm for hours for upgrades that isent worth the time spend to do it.
Indeed, the upgrade system Is very well balanced, giving you room for experimentation and feeling the benefits of different builds without feeling too overpowered. However many people felt Enchanting was too generic, never really offering the kind of powerful perks Enchanting offers in other RPG's, especially after 30K Crowns of investment for the level 3 Enchantments, thats the only thing i wish they made more enticing.
I think witcher 3 goes the opposite direction. Almost all of the "legendary items" you find in ruins or get from quests are laughably bad compared to the crafted witcher gear
Great Overview Video ;) I got one question though. Can you give me any incentive to craft runestones/glyphs when crafting them always costs more than buying them? I would like to farm the crafting materials needed myself instead of buying them overpriced. Why buy overpriced materials when you can buy the completed Greater Runestone/Glyph cheaper? Unfortunately it seems to be really hard to farm stuff (e.g. Linen can only be looted from random chests or by dismantling Armor). Idk where to farm Armor drops but it’s irrelevant anyway then because dismantling Armor costs more than actually buying Linen off Merchants which kills the incentive again for me. Would appreciate any input from you towards this topic. As currently it’s rather sad that the only reason to craft runestones/glyphs is having fun crafting overpriced stuff when you can buy the end-product cheaper and to bypass the 5 days of Meditation to refresh the Stock of Greater Runestones/Glyphs.
Thanks i appreciate the feedback :) 🙏 Yes its definitely more expensive if you craft upgrades yourself from scratch, but the option is there regardless. However, over the course of your adventure, you will find for free many standard upgrades, of which 3 can then be upgraded to a Greater version, which is much cheaper than buying a Greater version. This is the only time it will be worth crafting your own from a cost perspective, although you're not really crafting your own, just upgrading your existing ones.
Playing this in pandemic. this game is amazing! and so is the guide. :) Can anybody please tell me should i use runestones or runeword enchantments?? cause I've heard runestones get destroyed if I use enchantments either way, please suggest the most sicckkk runestone/glyph/glpyword/runeword according to you.
Thank you for the positive feedback George! The game is indeed amazing 👍 The Chernobog Runestone is a good bet as it increases melee damage output across the board. The Glyph you should choose according to the Signs that you use the most often, if you like a defensive playstyle, then go all in on Quen, if you prefer an offensive playstyle, then Igni or Aard tend to be the popular ones. Yes Enchanting any item with upgrades already installed, will overwrite those upgrades and they will all be lost. But dont worry about that for now, as its no great loss. Make sure to check the charts for all the Enchantment effects and choose ones which best synergize with your current build and playstyle. Good general ones which are always effective are Severance and Preservation, but dont be afraid to experiment :) Hope that helps, good luck and enjoy! 🍻
It’s my first play through (I know almost a decade late), one of your tips includes one of the hearts and stone dlc missions…should I start the dlc? Wouldn’t it mess up the story for a first time player?
If you use Special Attacks Whirl and/or Rend a lot in combat, then yes Level 2 Severance is great. Also its worth unlocking Level 1 Enchanting for 5K Crowns for the Socketing service. Socketing the Aerondight with 3 sockets, which is otherwise socketless, and installing 3x Greater Runestones, or applying Severance, is a good idea. If you dont plan on adding sockets to your gear, or using Whirl / Rend in combat, then skip Enchanting altogether, you wont notice any difference.
Only if you plan to actually use the Enchantments at those levels. The Buffs to some of the Enchantments with the latest v4 update, make them worthwhile now.
@@GamerGrade Thanks for your advice. I already payed it, because I have a lot of money. :-) I think that is good option for later, for good weapons that I can reach in Blood and Wine - that what I heard.
Got a question. I'm running a pure sign build. My silver sword is slotted with 3 greater veles and my steel sword is enchanted with rejuvenation. Just wondering if i replace the enchantment on my steel with another 3 greater veles, will the sign intensity stack for both swords?
Yes with Runes you will receive the upgrade bonuses of both swords equipped in their slots 👍 Bear in mind some enchantments will only apply to the individual sword with the Enchantment, such as Severance.
If you're on PC then simply drag the rune and drop it on the sword, or on console select the rune using the A/X button, then select the sword to install to also using A/X (A for XBOX, X for PS). 👍
Great video although I barely understood half of what you talked about all that sounds like you need a PhD to understand it I don't understand why it's so hard to enchant on that game I still can't figure it out very much I wish you could make a video simplifying the process a little bit that was a lot to take in and I just didn't catch half of it it's hard to understand that stuff for me
Hey Matt just try things out and dont be afraid to just play around with everything, it will all start to make sense but only after you simply experiment for a while, rather than trying to fully understand everything off the bat. Save your game so you can simply keep re-loading after testing stuff out. Then come back and watch the video again when you're more experienced using the system. It will then all make sense. If you have any specific questions, just post in a new comment so ill see it and ill try and assist. Good luck and thanks for watching :) 🍻
does the effect of greater glyphs used to enchant (example : greater glyph of quen : 10% quen intesity) still persist or they're all traded out for a single effect?

You are most welcome Richard! Hope the guide helps you get the most from Upgrades. Good luck and enjoy :)
You already earned a sub from me from the Ursine set video. Now a whole new world in quality Witcher guides has opened up for me. You are a diamond in the rough mate. Lets get you to 20k subscribers quickly!! :)

Best video on this subject. Thank you:)
You are most welcome Teresa! Glad to hear the video was helpful for you :)
Hope you enjoy the game and happy holidays 🍾
I'm glad i watched this, was unsure if i was gonna upgrade the runewright to the highest level, but none of those words are too appealing to me. What are your favorite rune or glyph words to use?
You are most welcome, thanks for watching :) 🙏
My personal favorites are Preservation, Severance, and Levity. 👍
Glad to hear the guide was helpful for you 🙏
I agree, splashing out the full 30K Crowns on the enchanter is only really worth it if you are super rich. He obviously stashed most of those funds elsewhere lol.
However, the initial 5K Crowns is definitely worth it for his socketing service alone :)
Thank you as always for these useful guides. What about a video on how to obtain the most coins?
Thanks for the recommendation! I was actually thinking of doing a coin guide but then i found most people just use this glitch: ruclips.net/video/VnhTYeaJukQ/видео.html
I tested it recently and it still works well!
You can get most (all?) of the diagrams from the Pellar in Velen, Northwest of Blackbough.
Yes you are right, you can indeed also get all the diagrams from the Pellar in Velen. Thanks for sharing Joe 🙏
Is there a price difference
This helped me a lot. Great video thx... keep it up
You're most welcome Vuk! Glad to hear the video was helpful 🙏

Fantastic guide !
Thanks for watching and for the feedback! Good luck 🍻
My oh my, what amazing work you did here, well not only here but like in other videos as well! Really well done but what is appalling too me is how you have so few subscribers, not enough and fair for you're incredible work!
Hope you continue this work with the Ciberpunk 2077, that's going to be awesome to watch for sure!
A big salute from LISBON PT🇵🇹 my friend and Sorry for the poor English and be well, cheers. 👍
Thank you kindly for the positive feedback Dio! Much appreciated 🙏
Great to know im on the right track, i shall continue doing what im doing.
I indeed plan to cover Cyberpunk 100% so you can look forward to that too, guaranteed :)

@@GamerGrade Now you made me remember the (CAN YOU KINDLY = BIOSHOCK) 😅😉!
My friend knowing that you going to cover CIBERPUNK 💯% you putted me with a smile on my face for sure, thank you! 👍
Oh and by the way do not give up, little by little people will subscribe to you're channel and appreciate the work you do here. I'm an old school gamer (when I say old it's really old, from the 48K ZX SPECTRUM era, oh and Im from 72 btw 😉) and it's rare too appreciate (give credits) to a RUclipsr job but you're channel it's something else and the content as a lot of value so I really thank you for that, cheers.
I'm looking forward for CIBERPUNK 2077 videos. 👌👏👏👏
You are appreciated Dio! Thank you kindly :) 🙏
I am also an old school gamer from the Amstrad CPC 6128 era, when rewinding tapes to load games was a thing, and £1.99 Mastertronic games used to rule the gaming world lol.
Its great to have such supportive and appreciative followers as yourself, for that i am always grateful, and that alone makes it all worth while, so i will continue for sure.
Stay safe, well and healthy my friend, i look forward to sharing a lot of Cyberpunk content soon 🍻👊
I LOVE UR GUIDE !!!!!!!
Thank you kindly brother! 🙏

If only my teachers from college taught me this well.🤣

Your videos are so helpful thank mate🌹
You're so welcome! Thanks for watching and enjoy the game :) 🙏
I love the daylight gameplay. Darkness doesn't do justice to the beautiful foliage graphics
I agree, in daylight the world comes alive!
I never even imagined they could be crafted and upgraded
Great video by the way😁
Thank you for the positive feedback! Much appreciated :) 🙏
How did you manage to get 9100 saddle space? It is a mod or glitch I don’t know of? Thank you for the great guide
You are most welcome 🙏
Yes its actually a mod for the PC version.
Thx for the help needed the tutorial
You are most welcome! Glad to hear the guide was helpful for you 🙏
Good luck and enjoy :)
i love this game so much
Very detailed. Thanks
You are welcome Trey! Thanks for watching brother 👊

Thanks mate!
You are most welcome Isaac!
Hope you're enjoying the game brother 🍻
Good guide, thanks
You're most welcome! Thanks for watching and good luck 🍻
Great video. Do you go over your opinion on which Glyphs and Runes you like best for different builds?
Pretty sure the pellar is cheaper since after the quest forefathers eve he gives a 25% discount in his shop, this also means if you sell stuff it's 25% cheaper though
Thanks a lot for sharing this tip! 🍻
Found that out after I spend 2k gold on diagrams before I watched this guide and then found out I needed a master craftsman lol
Yeah it takes some effort to unlock the only two mastercrafterss in the base game, with lengthy mid-level side quests, but well worth unlocking them asap ;)
Great video, in depth explanation! What armour is that you have in the skellige part btw? It looks awesome
Thanks Connor much appreciated :) 🙏
You mean the red armor? If so then thats the Grandmaster Griffin Witcher set, all dyed with red armor dye 👊
Thanks for watching :)
Perfect guide 💥
Thank you very much!
Good luck and enjoy 🍻
Amazing guide’!
Thank you brother! Good luck and enjoy the game :) 🍻
Hey Grade, I was wondering if you could do a OP build on the witcher 3. Possibly including aerondight?
Thanks for the suggestion brother 🙏
Got a couple of beginner guides to finish, but I definitely plan to do an updated 2020 build guide when i can. Due to this current lock-down im pretty tied for time (kids!) so videos have had to take a back seat 😡
Stay tuned though bro 👊
GamerGrade Take as much time as you want, as long as they are the same amazing quality your videos always are 😏
Now that i can guarantee! 👍💯
Good guide
Thanks for watching! 🙏
Excellent 👍 thank you
Will runes and glyphs be destroyed when i upgrade from enhanced to superior or more?
No all runes and glyphs will be transferred to the higher quality item. However, Enchantments from the Runewright will be destroyed when you upgrade the gear. 👍
@@GamerGrade
Bro!
Thanks a lot!
You're welcome :)
@@GamerGrade You are a legend!!
You're welcome :)
Yep everything stored in your stash will carry over to NG+ :)
Great guide
Thanks Lola 🙏
What games are you playing at the mo?
hey there, did I miss the Info WHERE to find the Armorer/Blacksmith, who can actually forge those greater glyphs etc?
the Diagrams I already have by now. 🤔
Hattori in Novigrad, Yoanna at Crows Perch, the Ofieri Runewright (once upgraded), and Lazare Lafargue in Toussaint 👍
@@GamerGrade wow, that was quick....many thanks for your help, that made my day 👍🙏.
You're welcome and good luck :) 🍻
great video thanks just one question where does all the money come from?
Consistent selling throughout the entire game of armor / weapons / upgrades etc looted during questing and exploration. You need to factor in this habit early 👍
Glyphs are coming out of my ears, nose and mouth, waking up in cold, igni, glyphy, cold glyph sweats in the night. Eating, shixting, sleeping glyphs at this moment in time, glyphing it up baby, glyphing it the F up.
Awsum guide got a sub from me
Thanks so much! Your Sub and support is massively appreciated, great to have you aboard :) 🍻
Brother. Great guide. But why do you talk like a Thames link train reading upcoming stations?
Lol im improving with my more recent videos 😂
I would like to say " What an awesome guide" but nah, You already knows that
Lol, well I would like to say your continued feedback and support is always much appreciated! Thanks Geralt 🙏
@@GamerGrade Bro, I'm asking myself oh how to do this or that, ok let's see what GamerGrade have, then I see myself sitting on the border of my chair doing the guide, lol
This is exactly what makes spending so much time making these guides worthwhile, and why ill continue making them! 💯
@@GamerGrade Do you have a guide on how to upgrade the swords? yes you're right I'm gonna check on your list I'm stupid sometimes
Yes i do indeed Geralt, although i only covered the Griffin Silver Sword:
ruclips.net/video/DjoWmbewX1w/видео.html
Its a similar process for all other swords, just some different materials 👍
So I can only use ' Levity ' on chest piece part of the set and not on pants, gloves and boots ?
Yes that is correct 👍
Thanks mate!!! It all makes sense now!
You're most welcome! Thanks for the feedback and for watching :) 🙏
Great Overview Video ;)
I got one question though.
Thanks i appreciate the feedback :) 🙏
Yes its definitely more expensive if you craft upgrades yourself from scratch, but the option is there regardless.
Can anybody please tell me should i use runestones or runeword enchantments??
cause I've heard runestones get destroyed if I use enchantments
either way, please suggest the most sicckkk runestone/glyph/glpyword/runeword according to you.
Thank you for the positive feedback George! The game is indeed amazing 👍
The Chernobog Runestone is a good bet as it increases melee damage output across the board.
Good general ones which are always effective are Severance and Preservation, but dont be afraid to experiment :)
Hope that helps, good luck and enjoy! 🍻
@@GamerGrade this is some real good advice :D thanks man will surely experiment , fellow Witcher 🙌🏼
You are most welcome Witcher George!
George was actually a Witcher ;) 💯
@@GamerGrade yes from the School of Griffin 😎
He is indeed! My first Grandmaster Witcher set :) 👌👍
I don't know what you do for a living but you're probably under paid. Excellent videos.
Lol thanks for the positive feedback Rob! Much appreciate your support :) 🙏
Good luck and enjoy the game 🍻
It’s my first play through (I know almost a decade late), one of your tips includes one of the hearts and stone dlc missions…should I start the dlc? Wouldn’t it mess up the story for a first time player?
No it wont affect the main story, its entirely separate.
So you think the enchantments are even worth it? I'd rather have 3 greater burning upgrades...
So should I pay the 10 than the 15 tousand gold in the quest or not? Didnt understand it.
You'll definitely want to check out Rotation, Ignition, and Eruption when you get there 👍
Got a question. I'm running a pure sign build. My silver sword is slotted with 3 greater veles and my steel sword is enchanted with rejuvenation. Just wondering if i replace the enchantment on my steel with another 3 greater veles, will the sign intensity stack for both swords?
Yes with Runes you will receive the upgrade bonuses of both swords equipped in their slots 👍
Bear in mind some enchantments will only apply to the individual sword with the Enchantment, such as Severance.
@@GamerGrade Really appreciate the response. Gonna test it out.
You're welcome and good luck 🍻
Very good...
Thanks for the feedback and for watching :) 🍻
Anyone have a time stamp where I can find out how to put a rune stone on my sword?
Unfortunately the individual effects of the upgrades are lost to create the desired effect of the enchantment.
@@GamerGrade thankyou
You're welcome :)
the peller also have it right? is it good to buy from him.. at level 11 itself
Yes he is also a good trader to use 👍
@@GamerGrade thanks for the reply bro...
You're welcome :)
Are the bonuses cumalative? That is to say if I have a 3 glyphs at 5% all on one set of equipment. Is the bonus given 15%?
Yes indeed they will stack :)
I have all the 'greater' recipes but they don't show up in the crafting menu. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Are you visiting a Master level crafter (like Hattori or Yoanna), rather than Journeyman or Amatuer crafters?
@@GamerGrade I'm at level 21 and I haven't been to Hattori's shop yet. I don't know who Yoanna is but I haven't been to Skellege yet either. I guess I am just too early in the game. Thanks very much for your reply. Greetings from New Zealand.
