      The game is, in my opinion, one of the very best ever made. Make sure to take your time, complete those quality side quests, and take everything in :)
      If you have any further questions about the game, dont hesitate to message and ill try and help!
      Thanks for watching, enjoy the game and happy holidays to you and family 🍻🎄

      It really takes awhile for anyone of any age to 'get' all the systems in this game, but if you keep at it youll have a breakthrough and realize how all of it works all at once, through a few Witcher gear upgrades and potion making. Youll feel like its second hand natural to you by the time you arrive at a certain particular viking funeral scene or around that spot.

      Hello sir, just was wondering if you happened to have any great stories of the 60s or 70s 80s? Like seeing the doors or the Beatles live or interesting Vietnam related stories.. etc. I only ask because whenever I work uber I sometimes pick up some seniors who have em’ and I absolutely loved and cherished the stories of their experiences. Thank you kindly for your time.

    One pro tip: on a first playthrough, don't worry so much about getting the best gear, making the 'correct' choices, etc, just slow down and exist in the game, wander, explore, minimize fast travel and ride everywhere, etc. Often we gamers forget that aspect of role playing games; actually play the role of the character, live it, breathe it. A second playthrough on higher difficulty is when to focus on gear/upgrades/the 'best' ending, all that stuff. Thumbs up for a great video

      Agreed 100%! This game world most definitely deserves your undivided attention for at least the first play through. No technicalities or distractions, just complete immersion 👌

    Brilliant video, however for best merchants to sell to, stash everything you can, only sell when you absolutely need to sell, then when you get to blood and wine, do the quest "father knows worst" choose not to kill anyone when you get the choice, this means you will be able to SELL EVERYTHING to the guy you help, he will have a permanent shop in beauclair, AND HE PAYS FULL PRICE FOR EVERYTHING, so if you have a sword worth 500 in your inventory then he pays 500!

    I’d say some of my best advice would be that once a new player has a decent grasp on the combat, switch to a sign build and use a combo of yrden traps and igni. It completely melts through boss fights, even if you’re out leveled by a considerable amount.

    I just started playing a few days ago and absolutely love it. I’m having such a hard time setting it down. The fluidity of combat reminds me a lot of breath of the wild, with the added layer of signs. That added layer, with the skills and runes, provides that custom “Diablo” play-style complexity which really takes this game to the next level. Seeing the expansive community behind this game and it’s strong fan base also brings Witcher 3 to another level. Thank you for all the great information!

      Awesome glad to hear that man, you are in for an amazing experience, make sure to take your time and really take it all in. My advice is to do as many side quests and activities as possible and advance the main line slowly.
      Also make sure to only parry/counter humans and not monsters, for monsters always use dodge as your main form of defence and opening windows for counter.
      Any questions you may have about the inventory screens / sections feel feel to ask! However if you do make sure to start a new comment as i will then likely see it :)

    I don't need any tips about the Witcher 3, I just clicked because I saw Yennefer...
    BTW, if you didn't know this already, if you enchant your Aerondight with the best enchantment available, Replenishment, via Runewright and fully upgrade and activate "Resolve", you can deal with nearly all the monsters so easily. I have a Sign Build since the start of my journey and for a Sign Build, it's the perfect match. I'm at my third playthrough. First one was on Blood and Broken Bones, second was on Death March and the current one is still on Death March and I still use this build to say the least. For further tips, after you fully upgrade the skill that lets you use Aard within a circular area, you can perform the following combo: Fast + Heavy + Aard. This is a never ending cycle, for this particular skill allows Aard to fully charge faster than usual and no monster can touch you when you use this, even if they are wandering around as packs, like those damn wolves. For a little bit of spice, make sure you use Quen somewhere down the line while using this method during combat to allow yourself to regain a large amount of health if you need it, this is a feature of the aforementioned enchantment.

    I got the game a week ago and was struggling to get the timing down for counterattack/parry. Already 16 min in the video and I have learned more from this guide then I could have imagined. Great video, very detailed and very easy to follow. I fell in love with this game when my brother bought it years ago on his PS4. I always wanted to play it but didn't have a console to play it on recently got a gaming laptop it's awesome it's more then I could have hoped for. Having A.D.D is both a blessing and a curse in this game. Starting playing this for the first time last week. It's the best game as a whole I've ever played. Give it Ghost's of Tsushima combat mechanics and graphics and it's God Tier.
    I already restarted the play through because I dramatically under appreciated the alchemy and signs building possibilities and was focused on just building a tank.
    highly recommend focusing on the alchemy and signs side of things its incredible.

      I just got back into it, as well. Been searching gamestop for months for that game that will hook me and keep me entertained longterm, and Witcher3 was on the shelf last week. Wouldn't focusing on signs be kind of a waste of skill points? Because you can only use one sign every 5 seconds or whatever. I'm focusing on fast attack so far, but i like the fire sign

      The big next-gen update for this game should be released this year, so hopefully that will bring it up to date graphics wise, but unfortunately the combat mechanics will remain the same. Luckily the game was years ahead of its time on release and still plays well today.
      As you mention once you delve deeper into all the available character build systems its a real game changer, especially alchemy + mutations, which will make even Death March a breeze.

There are a few annoying bugs and performance issues, but I trust CDPR and surely they'll fix them soon. Vehicles are awesome and open world really feels alive. Weapons are good too but enemies take a lot of bullets to be killed (I'm still low level though). Overall I really love it, gonna replay it on all approaches after I finish it. Just started a fresh game and finally stumbled on a teleporting Leshen into Dragonslayer's Grotto bug, not planned on doing it so early, but stumbled on the alternative masked exit while investigating what happens if you have the bottle with Johnny's voice early on. Geralt has Temerian DLC armor on with chestpiece at 30` durability and level 3 Moonblade with 4%, that exit is guarded by the cave's final boss lvl 11 Ekimmara to contrast lvl 7 wraiths. Discoveries:
    - Basic fire bombs and unleveled Igni really tipped lack of Black Blood, Vampire Oil, decrepit sword and general 5 level difference squishiness even on Deathmarch. Had Tawny Owl and Swallow up, also decoction that was supposed to have Quen up if enemy takes more than third health in one swing, but it was just under that. Ekimmara decoction though is going to save so much food going forwards. :) Also Enhanced Cursed Oil needed its hide
    - 0 durability swords don't break or lose value. They also stay at the same damage reduction that starts below 50%
    - Best of all, back to Lvl 20 Leshen vs ill-equipped lvl 6 Geralt. Behind Ekimmara's chambers there is a long corridor with Wraiths and the same nasty gas that makes even Witchers choke and exploxes on contact with fire only to reappear a short spell later. Guys... Caught inside that gas's explosion currently OP Leshen loses almost third of his health apiece which is luck smiles staggers him back deeper into corridor where another cloud swirls, just keep your eye for any rogue swings and sudden teleports

    A small point but I think it's quiet important before embarking on any Treasure Hunt missions, is to retrieve the Eye of Nehaleni from Keira Metz by the end of the "Wandering in The Dark" main quest. The Artifact will disperse illusion walls or some sort to reveal hidden dungeon or alcoves of chest and crates.
    I know that people will eventually do the main quest early game, but I think most of RPG gamers tend to save the main for last and do the side ones first.

      @@GamerGrade it's what we need, you've done a fantastic work in summarising what we can do, missed out and should emphasise on. I've just started playing the game and you've made my gaming experience so much better!!

    I just started truly playing for the first time a few days ago (Made it to the end of The Bloody Baron quest line twice in the past but never any further until now).
    I've seen many make say "The worst part is I can't experience it again for the first time" and I'm quickly understanding that statement as I explore around on Roach.

    • @GamerGrade
      @GamerGrade  3 года назад

      This is true, so its important to really take your time with exploration, and immersing yourself in every quest possible, dont rush anything. The first time you experience everything is the best. 👍

    • @GamerGrade
      @GamerGrade  4 года назад +1

      Level 22 is still early game, so you have plenty of time to pick things up. Dont worry too much about fully understanding all aspects of alchemy for now, it will all come naturally as you progress, most players dont fully explore alchemy until NG+ :)

      Yes the amount of quality content in this game, specifically the GOTYE, is absolutely mindblowing, especially for the little money you pay. It sets the bar so high even now in 2021. No other game comes close in this regard, imo. Enjoy your next play through :) 🍻

    I love this game. Beat it awhile back. There’s a sword glitch. You have to own the “Hearts of Stone” dlc. There’s a small old Keep near your Home castle; “Kaer Morhen”. Leave your castle. I think it’s a mission. Go there, you’ll fight some flying monsters. Once you’re inside the Keep, you’ll find a High end swords and a note. Pick up the swords, Save the game and reload it. Swords will Return. Pick up, Save and Reload. You can Pick up as many times. I took all my swords to the BlackSmith who needs money to invest in his business to grow, located NE of the map, near the “Upper Mill” sign Post. (Enchanting, Start up Merchant. He has the most money). Of corse you can go around every merchant and take all their Golds or just fast Time Speed for the merchants to load up they’re stocks. It was the only fast way I found to get rich, besides doing all missions and selling every loot you find. Cheers 🍾
    PS, if already completed, I think you can return and the swords will be back.

      I know the one, the Relic in the chest on the wooden platform at the crumbling signal tower, where you can also find some Wolven diagrams through a portal.
      This is still the best glitch for making money quickly! 👍

    I just wanna point out that Toxic Blood makes me believe that you could build Geralt as a pure tank and have enemies just suicide themselves against you.
    Glorious.

    • @GamerGrade
      @GamerGrade  3 года назад

      Yes as long as you combine it with the Acquired Tolerance alchemy skill, and level that accordingly, the return damage percentage can reach approx. 400%+ alone, even higher if you're donning the full Manticore Withcer set and have the Metabolic Control general skill slotted. However, it only procs when actual damage is received, blocked or mitigated blows are not counted.
