I get why people are compelled to say Toussaint is the best map, but I disagree. Toussaint is like dessert. It’s the perfect thing to cap off a hearty meal, but alone it’s not nearly as good. If you could only choose one meal for the rest of your life it wouldn’t be a dessert. With that said Witcher 3 is my favorite game and there are no right or wrong answers here. Every map is fantastic.
Exactly. I was never able to fall in love with Toussaint like most other people describe it. But maybe it's because everyone praising it so much gave me too high expectations, idk
But that also makes it stand out the most in a game full of (great) gloomy areas. The shake at the end of the meal shouldn't replace the hearty meal, but it still might be the highlight for you
I liked the story of Toussaint a lot! Vampires and a family tragedy (for me). I remember how proud I felt that the two sisters become friends and in the next moment the knife was in the back of the one. That was unique!
Tô be Honest. Velen is the most haunted place in the entire game. But i still love the road to Novigrad, specially the eastern part, that passes trought a dense forest where the leshens dwell. The tone changes around there.

@@Coregame3 Velen has the baron's castle and the swamp where the 3 sisters live (crones), and the rest of the places scream of war, poverty and bloodshed. As for Toussaint, it doesn't have strong memories except for those ridiculous plants that appear from under the ground and we have to fight them 🤦🏻 all game maps without memories are worth nothing.
I remember starting the Blood and Wine DLC for the first time and riding towards Beauclair. I was just absolutely stunned by the sheer beauty of this landscape, almost like in a fairy tale as Geralt would say ;) Perfect Number 1 imo. P. S. Merry Christmas to everyone!
You have got to make more Witcher 3 video's!! Great video! My list: 7. Royal palace in Vizima 6. White Orchard 5. Velen 4. Kaer Morhen 3. Skellige Isles 2. Novigrad 1. Toussaint is the map I'll still wander about in after all the quests are over... because I don't want the game to end. And Khaer Morhen at night is the most hauntingly beautiful place. I'm glad someone still keeps the torches lit.
Velen is nr. 1 for me. It is the front of the war and without it the other maps would not contrast as hard. All of the maps are so god damn good, but if you took one away I think Velen would be most missed.
i live deep in the rockies, in a place that looks very similar to kaer morhen. i can appreciate its beauty in the game but not as much as others because i can see that beauty stepping out of my door. toussaint is truly a dream land for me. the warm rich vibrant colors without an evergreen in sight. it is so inviting because it looks like a place that doesnt get dark at 3:30pm like where i live. like year round you can sit on your porch at night wearing a tshirt
I would change the locartion list, because as for me, you can't put Oxenfurt and Hearts of stone territories, to Velen, or to Novigrad, because they different vide, so I decided to name them as another location. Also, White Orchard, always gives me nostalgic vibes, and I absolutely love this location. That's why it's so high. Though, great video, it warms my heart to see that there are still appearing new channels about my favorite game.
I have to put velen at #1 mostly because it’s the most witchery of witcher locations to me. toussaint is beautiful but it’s more of a beautiful getaway type of place. Just feel more at home in velen as geralt. Skellige is high up on my list too. It’s vast and beautiful with so much culture, and the music in skellige is the most beautiful

Number one has to be Skellig islands with the Ard Skellige tune in the background as I used that sound to finish University during study sessions and still use it when reading ! I love that sound so much and it makes it so much more bearable when having to travel by a boat to the small isalnd in that region
Skellige and Kaer Morhan are my top two. I love mountains and snow... and am not a fan of Spring/Summer.. Toussaint gives off a warm vibe and so it could never by a top location for me.
I think you should have mentioned Undvik when talking about Skellige. Location has such a devastating and a bit horroristic vibe. To me Velen is the best location. It perfectly encapsulates everything "The Witcher" is. Not to mention that Baron's questline (the best main questline) takes place there.
