APC has a great rendition of "The Hollow" from Letterman they performed back in the day. It's an amazing show.

I saw that Nine Inch Nails/Perfect Circle tour here in Vancouver. MJK had his back to the crowd and his pants down to his ankles pretty much the whole show. It was hilarious!

By the way, he "dances" weird because he actually has severe stage fright, and he gets some relief from it by making other people feel as awkward as he does. This is also why he is sometimes toward the back of the stage with the lights low.
No he stands at the back of the stage due to being able to hear himself. He's talked about that.
No, music and lyrics take him in a trance and dark places. Reason why he doesn’t play certain songs with tool. He’s grown and it’s too much to go back to
He has also talked about his stage fright and the fact he acts strange as a coping mechanism to deal deal with it. He feels awkward and feels better if he knows some of the other people watching also feel that way. He doesn't do this when not performing in front of a large group or people he doesn't know.
Maynard’s dancing weird is just his way of expressing himself! He doesn’t have stage fright lol
Well, everybody. I was wrong, at least as far as I can tell. Though Maynard does have some level of stage fright, apparently, it has more to do with sounding better (his mic picks up less noise) when he is toward the back of the stage. He is also just being himself with the strange dancing and weird costumes he sometimes dresses in.
I heard quite a while back in an interview that he has stage fright, and that's why he acts awkward, but he might have been poking fun at himself and wasn't seriously about the weird dancing part.
It's not at all uncommon for performers to have some level of stage fright. Most people do even if it's part of their job.

At the time of this comment is 7 months after this was posted, but if APC comes to your city GO SEE THEM! They really are amazing live as they are on album
I'm not gonna quit pushing you guys to have a day dedicated to Nine Inch Nails and work your way through their catalog of amazing music. They've collaborated with Maynard several times as well as other amazing artists and Trent Reznor has worked on soundtracks of countless movies and TV shows some you wouldn't think he'd work on but the man's talent is so vast it's impossible to put him in a category. Hell when I say Nine Inch Nails I'm really saying Trent Reznor because it's basically him making all the music himself save for a few exceptions. The library of songs you could do is vast enough that you could probably do a Nightly Nails and react to a new song every day and that would last years before you ran out of content to do.

So my suggestion is sabaton 1916. Just came out over a week ago. Watch the whole thing credits and all because the music is beautiful by Tina gao on her cello at the end. It’s a Motörhead cover. Id listen to them both at the same time. They’re both beautiful. About ww1. It’s pretty epic and grab your tissues cause sabaton gave us another heartwrencher like the Christmas truce.
