This whole Album is a Masterpiece IMO. I have mentioned here before; I saw them perform Live in Seattle Before I bought the " Cassette " back in 2000. I had only heard Judith but was already a TOOL/Maynard Fan.
It was an Amazing Show and I've seen APC 4 times. All Beautiful! I was drawn to the Music immediately! Such a Powerful Sound and at times Trance Like. I was in my 1st year of Recovery and this and Lateralus was mainstay in my car. " Opening to HEAL"
The Billy and Maynard harmonize so well. Paz rocked on the vocals as well. Also, I just sang the whole thing with but, haven't heard it for years.

I know Maynard is the main figure but you guys should really give more attention to Billy. Not only he's a great composer, as we can all see on APC, but he also has a full album with his project Ashes Divide, which has great songs, but he's also releasing solo songs and a full album soon. Try checking them out. 😉

This is like Mer De Noms version of TOOL's Reflection, the song that comes late on the album and you don't really notice at first, but then becomes one of your favorite songs

Holy Hell I can’t believe I never noticed you guys haven’t checked this song out yet!!! Damn near brought a tear to my eye to watch this reaction because of how truly special this song is too me. I don’t even know where to begin on all the memories and moments I’ve had in my life with this song. A definite “soundtrack” to my life. I’ve had car rides into the sunset here in Colorado with this song blasting. I’ve ski’d down some of the most beautiful mountain scenery with this song in the background, I’ve experienced heartbreak and truly painful moments in my life with this song playing in the background…this song is something truly special and it becomes that the more and more you listen to it. The opening riff is a bass, the bass player at the times name was Paz and she was a genius!
A song that I'd like to hear reacted to is Rhinoceros by the Smashing Pumpkins. It's off their first album Gish, which came out in 1991.
Mer De Noms is their best album

I hope one day (not as a reaction, but I absolutely would watch it if you did do a reaction) you both sit down with these albums (Mer De Noms and Thirteenth Step) and listen to them as a full album (each one). IMO, they both work SO well as concept albums and really deserve to get the full effect of each album as a whole.
Dont know if its all of APC or just a few members but they are in Papa Midnights club in the movie Constantine, which is so meta cuz they are just chillin while the song “Passive” plays in the club

I was wondering how Hollywood would figure out how to get Smoke to guess the song. good job I wouldn't have been able to think of anything. Back when this album came out, my friends and I decided to drive to Dallas to catch the last show of their first tour. it was amazing and one of my favorite concerts. the venue was small and the intimate music went well with the intimate show

Hey guys there is a little gem of a band, that I really truly believe you need to not only react too but share with the tribe. Stateless- Assassinations would be a great song to start with. Sleeping Dog's Lie has Brad Wilk in it from Rage as the main char. He is in One of them Jason Stahem movies for a cameo i just forget what one... Where he needs to get electrocuted to keep going. Brena was his wife now he changed the lyrics to Lei Li i saw him sing it live with the updated lyrics
