@@richborn6700 I love you stans act like that but if it was someone who was buddies with punk that handled travel adn that happened to the Bucks youd raise hell
Nah I can't agree with this take. While I do think Punk should go for just about everything else, Punk brought up the very reasonable safety complaint to Perry about the glass. Perry decided to be childish about it, and that's how the fight started. You cannot pin this on Punk and if you are you're just being disingenuous.
Miro lied as well, he said that the reports were false and the locker room is united. Personally, I think Jack Perry is at fault in this situation if how Punk's side of the story happened. You don't mock someone who told you not to do something on national TV and shoulder bump him and get in his face about it. If you're gonna act tough with someone after they told you not to do something, then it seems Jack Perry was looking for trouble, and he found it. But if Punk was causing trouble, then he should most likely be fired he is now toxic to other talent, and now he is hurting the younger future stars of the company if AEW has plans for Jack Perry.
It’s facetious to say that Adam Cole & MJF are more important to AEW than Punk, as that only may be the case because they’re presented as such, they’re given all the time they need and punk is stuck on the worst time slot possible, and can’t/won’t even appear on dynamite.
MJF and Adam Cole wrestled twice Punk opened in a match once very few care about that alone proves how in demand Cole an MJF is, it's debatable if Cole is more important than Punk but MJF is no doubt far more important than Punk since MJF is putting out banger after banger from feuds to matches to promos, thats resonates with people. If MJF left AEW tomorrow it would be a massive blow to AEW .
@@tmerchead1 Yeah i agree, i’d hope the world champion is more valuable, honestly if Punk left tomorrow they’d be back doing the same old shit they do on dynamite. As a fan Collision has felt a breath of fresh air recently, feels like how wrestling used to feel.
Adam Cole isn't that good as a singles wrestler but as a tag wrestler yes. AEW hasn't done much for in presenting Cole as a creditable challenger for the world title. Punk is basically head of creative with DB abd TK for Collision and ppl came to Punk and got Punk involved. If they never went to Punk he probably wouldn't have gotten involved. If the AEW wrestlers cant handle being in a professional work environment then they shouldn't be professional wrestlers. Also, Punk reached out to try to squash the beef with the Elite but they didn't want to. So if ppl are acting out because of the beef between the Elite and CM Punk then The Elite should meet with Punk to squash the beef to help with morale I mean it's not like this is how they feed their families. Also let's not forget Jack Perry wanted to use real glass to get written off so he can go on Vacation. Kinda funny how ppp forget that part.
I dont mins punk being disciplined but then whose gonna tell these idiots not to stick real chainsaws and swords inside they head? Punk's problem is HOW he told them the truth, has nothing to do with the truth still , hopefully TK can tell the other stars the truth once punk gone
@@misters4022 I remember hearing a rumor a month or two ago that AEW was going to start instituting a list of moves and spots that were prohibited and ones that they had to seek permission for in the future. The list was pretty extensive and while some of the spots have definitely either been cut down or you do not see them at all any more. Some are still being used. I can only recall a few of them off the top of my head like not fighting through the audience while bleeding, no taking fans drinks (I guess that those were not plants in the past), and the use of certain high risk moves was supposed to be cut down. Not sure how true the rumor was but it was an interesting one.
Nah bro. There's enough discipline to go around. According to veterans in the locker-room, the young guys have an attitude where they feel like they can pull this sort of stuff and get away with it. Punk's going about it the wrong way by being too confrontational, but he's made a lot of good points about the toxicity and immaturity in the locker-room.
@@fabian4023 thank u! the fucking dummy over here wanting to put himself thru real glass and punk tried to educate him smh lol gimme a break and I dont even like punk either
@@misters4022 That's the problem. There is no real locker room leader that the boys will defer to. Say what you want about WWE, but in their locker room, we know who is "the guy": Roman Reigns. I don't know if MJF has enough influence within the locker room, and I imagine the boys would chaff at having Dustin Rhodes or Billy Gunn to speak or mediate on their behalf, given their prior WWE ties. You need someone who is "made" by AEW, and has the trust of both Khan and the locker room, and thus far, I am not seeing anyone that matches this criteria.
I'm really exhausted at the drama cause man MJF and Adam Cole really are doing something special that hasn't been seen since Hangman/Omega and Max/Punk in AEW. They had a decent to good ppv and instead of talking about that, alot of bs from backstage is happening.
I just feel bad for the fans who are defending their favourite wrestlers . And fighting over it. While in reality nobody cares and it doesnt really matter what we fans say.. We were better without the internet.. and all this controversies. Poor Punk and Jack perry fans (if there is any ..for Jb). For their ego... Fans are out here commenting this and that nonsensical theories and facts etc. Its quite sad.
If there's conflict in Collision I can't tell cause it's a million times better than Dynamite since it started. Besides that it's hard to form opinions on what happens backstage when we never know the full story, what I do know is Hangman and Jungle Boy went on live tv/ppv and disrespected Punk and that led to issues backstage. As a fan it's extra entertainment so I don't mind what's happened so far
We don’t need to know what’s going on backstage unless it involves storyline. WWE did that with edge and Matt hardy and it blurred and worked however that was early mid 2000s
1:55 Got to disagree with your take on MJF and Cole. To me MJF is like Ric Flair he should never be a babyface anytime soon. Cole is good but I would not say he’s more valuable than CM Punk. CM Punk is the top merchandising draw in the company. Not to mention the match between them was pretty wacky. I didn’t like the false face heel turns that both of the competitors were doing.
I will not say AEW backstage is chaos but its sure that a lot of people had problems with Punk When Punk got forced to leave after All Out in September last year, everything feelt good and you rarely heard bad stories, but once Punk was close to coming back problems and turmoil once again started to begin I will say this until the day i die, Cm Punk arriving was one of the main reason Cody left AEW because he knew he was a ticking bomb
Didn't the Andrade-Guevarra fight happen while Punk was gone? Plus all the drama with the women's locker-room. And I heard Cody left, because he felt he was going nowhere in AEW. Plus the amateur management at AEW was a headache for him.
Yes it was more peaceful without punk because the opposing faction had all the sway. The first the elite did was insult punk in their return match and try to do things to antagonize him. They lawyered up when he tried to bury the hatchet so yeah it's gonna be a problem when he comes back and no he's not going to hold back on taking shots at them because that is an environment they created, not him

Blame Tony Kahn on this. Seriously this all the AEW managements fault. CM Punk is one of the best wrestler ever. He was never into the ultra hardcore wrestling. Actually he is the one in the right. Tony Kahn is the cancer to the business. Serious CM Punk was right to tell him about the glass issues for the issues go wrong. Also has to be more to the issue. AEW is ALL EGO WRESTLING. I was also in the business both professionally and through friendships and relationships with several ppl. I've also been backstage at a lot of AEW events. Both before, during, and after shows. I'm in contact with several people there. I'd love your opinion on this.
@@Stormhart92 I will, but I won't be mentioning any names. The Elite have their supporters backstage. Especially the ones who otherwise would be nothing without either them or Khan. The ones who have options however, who knows that they're there not just because of the money but because of the easier schedules, less travel, less appearances, etc; from what I know they almost all to a person side with Punk. I guess the line is more skewed when it comes to age though. It seems like the ones who were around years before the Elite side with Punk. Sure, there are the few that don't but most do. From what I've heard a lot of the ppl are quietly cheering on Punk because he's one of the few who is in a position of not having to take the Elite's nonsense. I've had more than one person tell me that this really all did stem from the Page promo and the fact that when pushed and prodded Punk didn't just simply take it and hush up like the ones who were on the small Indy circuits before AEW do. So the poking and prodding continues and the more defiant Punk gets the angrier the Elite and their friends get. I've had several tell me that every single issue between them all had a similar pattern. The Elite or their friends said or did something Punk deemed disrespectful and Punk returned in kind. Public stories corroborate this theory. It is also very true that TK is scared to death to do something about it. I'm not excusing Punk. Several have told me that he can be a very difficult person to work with. Regardless of heat or not. However, they also say that he doesn't take petty shots or make public displays until he gets to where he's begged for intervention and it never comes. So he does what he thinks he has to do. Punk is very old school in that way. Still, he's just as unprofessional for letting it go that far. I know 2 ppl in AEW who were in WWE for quite a while and they both said had it been Vince it would've been squashed in a week. I hope this helps. I know Elite fans aren't going to like this but it's what I've been told and I believe it because several have told very similar stories. They all need to be dealt with though, for the good of the company. Many are worried about that very thing as well.
They need to hire a hard ass talent relations guy to hold some wrestler courts. Let Tony deal with business and let an experienced veteran run the locker room and deal with issues. Wrestlers have massive egos, especially guys that were predominantly Indy guys, and they need to be kept in check. And it can’t be another rostered wrestler. Gotta be someone retired or on the way to it that people respect.
Its too far gone for that someone is already leaking that the way tony is fosters the take shots go into business for themself type of play and he lets it happen
CM Punk brings in no business. They put him on collision to draw ratings and that show is doing 400k. And he's too immature to be able to work with anyone on dynamite.
That locker-room has way bigger problems than CM Punk. Veterans are claiming the young guys feel like they can do whatever they want without consequences. Punk just poked the wasp's nest by calling out their unprofessionalism and got stung. And the female locker-room's a mess, too.

Brawl Out. Brawl In. Cant wait for Punk or Nothing in May
MJF is valuable. That's why he's probably going to WWE next year. Way more pay and way more money feuds he can have there.

U don’t hear this much backstage drama from wwe unless they keep it on the low
CM Punk is the one that needs to be disciplined but I wonder if there is something written into Punk's contract that makes it difficult to do so.
I dont mins punk being disciplined but then whose gonna tell these idiots not to stick real chainsaws and swords inside they head?
Punk's problem is HOW he told them the truth, has nothing to do with the truth still
, hopefully TK can tell the other stars the truth once punk gone

I didn’t like the false face heel turns that both of the competitors were doing.
i used to think this too but he's done a phenomenal job as a face. We'll see how the story turns out. Thanks for commenting
Jack Perry's Fault
I will not say AEW backstage is chaos but its sure that a lot of people had problems with Punk
When Punk got forced to leave after All Out in September last year, everything feelt good and you rarely heard bad stories, but once Punk was close to coming back problems and turmoil once again started to begin
I will say this until the day i die, Cm Punk arriving was one of the main reason Cody left AEW because he knew he was a ticking bomb
They lawyered up when he tried to bury the hatchet so yeah it's gonna be a problem when he comes back and no he's not going to hold back on taking shots at them because that is an environment they created, not him
There was like 2 fights that happened when punk was gone

It's irritating people just now assume punk is 100% to blame too when most has been 50/50 for who's at fault. This situation so far seemed to be all on jack perry too. TK really needs to step up and control the locker room better.
Edit: I'd also like to say there was fights and drama before punk was even in aew.
Punk can't criticize the locker room for being children and then wait for Perry to come back to start a confrontation with him. An adult would have told the Boss and then put it aside for the time being instead of risking ruining the company's biggest night ever. I was also in the business both professionally and through friendships and relationships with several ppl. I've also been backstage at a lot of AEW events. Both before, during, and after shows. I'm in contact with several people there. I'd love your opinion on this.
@@SSJ2Phenomcan you give us some insight?
TK is a businessman and he put a lot of stock into Punk, he can’t just let him go for “nothing” but in reality, it kills his locker room morale
CM Punk brings in no business. They put him on collision to draw ratings and that show is doing 400k. And he's too immature to be able to work with anyone on dynamite.
