For what it’s Worth bully Ray said something similar happened with him and Jack Perry this morning on Busted Open and that’s only two incentives but I tend to think where they smoke twice there might be fire
All I can say is I wish CM Punk the best going forward. He seems at peace in WWE. I really hope AEW improves their infrastructure and conflict resolution. I’ll also add that even knowing from Punk’s side what happened at All In: I still loved the Punk vs. Joe match. I personally liked Punk vs. Joe more than MJF vs. Adam Cole. And CM Punk vs. MJF is still one of the best feuds AEW has ever had.
He's the thing with people who talk about the unprofessionalism and the side headlock. In any contact sport or where men have a disagreement and want to handle it. I've seen Basball, Hockey, Football and MMA fighters get into fights. I can speak for myself spending time in the Army I've gotten in physical fights with peers and guess what we got it out of our system went and had a beer talked and squashed it. It just goes to show that even professionals can fight with each other
People in general avoiding confrontation isn't necessary a bad thing. It could be a bad circumstance, a losing battle, or simply nothing to be gained from it. However, when you're in charge of a business, you have to be okay with being confrontational when necessary. Sure, it might not feel good, but at the end of the day, they work for you.
Tony Khan not going on Twitter tangents right now says to me the way punk talks about it being calm is the 100% truth. Anything else Tony gets butthurt about goes on there lmao
We finally heard Punk's side of the story and while he should have handled something better the biggest takeaways for me were. 1. He's right about Meltzer. 2. He's right about Tonu not being able to be a boss, even more so with how many times he told Tony to handle something and Tony did nothing. 3. He was right that splitting the roster into two for Collision and Dynamite was not going to solve anything. Punk said a lot of what many of us have already seen and also confirmed a lot of Cornette's thoughts. I know this is going to pis off a lot of Punk hates and AEW defenders but this is the truth. I'm not saying Punk is innocent at all, but we now have more insight into everything going on. It's also very curious that hours after this interview came out Tony released 10 people from the roster, are they connected? We don't know but you do have to question the timing.
The only thing I disagree with is people that avoid confrontation are cowards I avoid confrontation because I have anger issues. I mean obviously you didn’t mean everyone that avoids confrontations are that way I’m not that stupid.
I too have anger issues. More so now that I'm older compared to when I was younger. I just never liked confrontation. I'm not a fighter. I don't like to fight. I will if I have to but
People who avoid confrontation aren’t necessarily cowardly. I don’t like confrontation. And I don’t like drama. And sometimes there are better ways to handle issues Than. With confrontation. I teach. And I see kids who pull that mess everyday and want to fight in my room. Happened today actually. Sometimes it’s Bess to leave things alone. And if something needs to be said, say with sincerity and respect
Tony is cowardly for being non confrontational. Hes obviously too scared to tell any of these wrestlers what they need to hear and squash any beef. Punk confronting jungle boy in that manner would have never happened if tony actually made the effort to fix it.
CM Punk is and was always right this man reputation name has been slandered while he said nothing at all until now glad he finally came out and confirmed what we already knew about the elite Tony khan AEW plus some other things we didn’t know just wow.
Probably what happened with Punk and Jack was it might have started calm, but it most likely got more heated. Enough details got left out of what Punk said where that is a possibility.
I tend to believe a man like Punk than some random "journalist" & "rumours", I do believe that there is 2 types sides of the story but apparently Tony Khan can't talk about that
My favorite part of the interview was when Punk said that he didn't punch anybody. All he did was choke someone slightly. 😂 Bro, that's still fucked up.
@@worldchanging3965 It's just the way he said it. I didn't punch anybody. That story was b*******, all I did was lightly choke someone. I was just pointing out something that I found funny.
Tony needs to bring somebody like Scott D'amore in to run day to day operations in that company because D'amore is a guy who is friendly with the wrestlers and gets on well with them but he also knew how to be there boss and deal with things and draw the line between being there boss and there friend. Bully ray said he watched him for over a year in TNA do that very well.
For whatever anyone wants to say about Punk is he treated AEW like a business. He tried to be a benefit to the company. Where would AEW be if Tony Khan didn't have a blank checkbook. More people in that company should have that mindset. Like Nick Khan said anybody can run a business on a loss.
Punk can say that he was calm all he wants, but how many times have you been in an argument with someone and tell them to stay calm and they scream at you "I am calm!" That's basically what I'm picturing.
Its easy to point out things while you have a few months to reflect on it. His right about a lot of things but my questions is why didn't he change anything when he had the chance to?
He stated that "some people will hate him" for what he is saying about AEW because he knows that they are making easy money off of Khan and it's livelihoods at stake.
i think there is truth to what he said, but also like you said that he said it in a way that makes him look the best like he is the victim. I do think TK needs to run aew better, and if he cant put the talent in their place he needs to hire someone to do that kinda stuff, He is too hands on with everything and doesnt want any of the talent to not like him even though as a boss you will never have everyone like you and if you try you will just get taken advantage of and make things worse
Regardless of your opinion of CM Punk, there is some truth when it comes to how AEW is run. Honestly, even if AEW won the bidding war to secure the services of Will Ospreay, Kazuchika Okada and Mercedes Mone, you have to wonder exactly how long will it be until Shahid Khan demands his son for his return on investment. This is just my opinion, but AEW's existence right now is simply for Khan and his hardliner fan base to flip WWE the middle finger, nothing more. If not for this hardliner fan base, I can probably appreciate AEW more, but alas, Khan chose to tether his wagon to the worst of the IWC, and it's painfully obvious in the product. It's gotten to the point that AEW is forced to make roster cuts for the first time in the company's existence. Shahid Khan's wealth is not going to last forever, and considering the middling returns from reduced attendance and increased payroll, something will have to give, one way or another. Either Khan has to swallow his pride and delegate duties to save this ship, or keep his pride intact and go down with it.
There was nothing about this interview that surprised me... He didn't add to anything we already knew... AEW proved to be too childish and poorly ran by Tony Khan... I saw that brewing before Punk arrived... Kenny, and The Bucks always seemed like immature boys... Think about what THEY did to Cody... Real mature, and professional people will struggle in AEW because of the lack of leadership... I'm pretty sure there will be drama with Mercedes very soon... Sadly... stay tuned!

They never showed ANU INCLINATION they wanted to switch up their style even BEFORE punk got there. all in all, while ima glad he ia back, and I dont see his AEW run as a failure AT ALL...Punk can say wat he wants but he truly is back in wrestling in big part because of the $$$, like Mox said 😂
