I see a lot of people who review or collect controllers say they never experience stick drift, and therefore dismiss it as something that doesn't happen. The thing is that it usually only happens after extended use, such as using it every day for months/ years, for a total of several hundreds/ sometimes even thousands of hours. Most consumers get one controller, then use that one until it breaks. Many people play games almost every day, making racking up a several hundred hours on a single controller into a process that doesn't take very long. Meanwhile, reviewers and people with multiple controllers tend to swap out controllers, meaning each individual controller is used less frequently and therefore gets less total play time, making it much less likely to develop issues within the same time span. I am glad to see you acknowledge analog stick drift as the widespread issue it is, and mention it in almost every single review.

@Mr. Charizard I'm using it bluetooth (wirelessly). But pretty sure it works wired too. I'm not sure what "polling" is. But I would assume. DSX had a TON of options, changing led color, changing mic. Light to pulse instead of solid. All sorts of things.

WARNING: So, it hasn't even been out for a month yet, and I've already found a big DESIGN FLAW with the Edge's back buttons. I'm not saying don't buy one. I just want to give people a heads up. About a week ago I started having trouble with my RB paddle/'leverback'. It had suddenly slid over so the end of the paddle was too close to the hand grip shell, so pressing it wouldn't always activate the button. I found I could slide the black plastic part that holds the paddle or half dome back and forth on that side. Long story short, that piece has a very thin hinge post on each side of it that then fits into a tiny white (teflon/nylon?) sleeve/bushing. One of the posts had just sheared right off, letting the part move around too much. I managed to still use it by swapping to the half dome on it until I could open it up to see if I could fix it. I could've just sent it back to Sony since it's obviously under warranty. But I wanted to get in there and look so I could spread the word. I did, just today, manage to get it apart, see the problem, and managed to super glue the post back on. That has worked so far, but it hasn't really been stress tested yet. My guess is that it won't last long. I'm about to go play CoD, so we'll see. The stupid thing about this is the problem is because it's over-engineered. The little white sleeves are almost pointless. They're not cylindrical and they have little flanges to hold them in place in the shell. If it's a friction thing (there is a metal plate with two screws that holds these parts in place), a much simpler solution would have been thicker posts on the black piece and a simple cylindrical bushing over each of them with the metal plate just keeping them from popping out of place. Sony put complexity and weakness in a crucial part when there was no need for it. I have plenty of manufacturing and machining experience to know that. This is going to be a problem that Sony will soon have to fix with a revision. If it can happen to me in 3 weeks, it's going to start happening to many others well within a year. They'll be replacing a lot of controllers until they fix it.
Appreciate the great indepth review as always man. Awesome work! Long video but not a dull moment. Looking forward to any update videos down the road when Sony or other folks make any other thumbstick modules and when/if the PC customization comes online. Thanks man
The only reason I haven’t bought yet is my fears that PC-only users may be left behind in terms of the software / customizability (I don’t own any consoles). I bought a regular PS5 DualSense back in December as a decade+ Xbox-only user and it’s my new all time fav controller. A premium model is certainly in my near future, be it the Edge or one of the custom builders or an Extremerate Clicky switch and back button kit whenever the BDM-030 variants release. I run a tall + short KontrolFreeks pair which were game changers so I’m super glad to hear they fit great!
that controller is great!!! i was hoping too for 4 back buttons, I own a BattleBeaver, but for some games i'm good with only 2 Did you know that you can switch sides for the paddles?? they align like the Scuf back paddle on PS4 controllers and it feels a bit better actually!!
Been putting in a good amount of time with the DS Edge since getting it, build quality is amazing, the half domes are surprisingly good and have quickly become my go to, the software customization is sweet and the swift profile switching with very satisfying vibration feedback is a plus, swappable stick modules are good but future hall effect variants will be fantastic. Now the one thing i really don't like about this controller is the battery life, I'm getting about 5 hours before the battery low notification and about 2 hours (then some) before it completely goes adios. With that said i don't regret getting the Edge, i think Sony knocked it outta the park with this iteration into the pro controller scene for Playstation and it's only going to get better from here.
So ya you had a choice here. So would you have preferred the controller to be larger with better battery or the way they did it now. Keep the size the same but less battery. But changing the controller size I think is worse. It makes going back and forth if ever change how the controller feels and I think that would be a bad idea.
@@xShinobiXx I definitely agree, making it bigger ain't the way to go, the Dualsense architecture is perfect the way it is. I'm sure in the future they'll have a workaround the battery issue, don't mind it if they make it slightly heavier!
@@HowardKat ya but if the battery is bigger they would need to make the controller bigger. That’s the issue. Just got it in the mail. Did the set up. Holy smokes this controller is AMAZING! The dome back buttons are the best. It’s so slick. And you can map any button anywhere. I so needed this lol
@@HowardKat ah thanks man. So pumped. This is actually really good. The trigger stops work really nice. Controller is solid. Way better than the regular one. And the dome paddles are just godly. I prefer it over the lever. Now I can go back and play all my favourite games all over again. I’ve been needing this because how games have jump or run always on the X or O button. Cheers. Enjoy it. Sick controller
@@rodp1984 but those aren’t paddles… you would still need to take your thumb off the stick to press them which defeats the purpose of paddles… it’s nice to have 2 extra buttons but they aren’t paddles
Hopefully third party controller makers (aim, scuf, hex, battle beaver) will make a version of their own with the dual edge (since most are usually using the same og dual sense controller and customise some more) for the coming months. It would be the best for all. 4 buttons/triggers at the back, and swappable sticks on the front. That would be epic!
ExtremeRate is probably going to release a mod (which is much cheaper than purchasing a modded gamepad from the modders you mentioned) since ExtremeRate already did that for the original DualSense gamepad and other first party gamepads.
It actually amazes me how many reviews about the edge don’t really understand the real reason for the connection housing piece. The reason it’s there is so if you play with it connected a lot, you won’t loosen the metal connection piece on the controller which can happen a lot if you play with your controller connected. With the awful battery life of the edge, there is a good chance you will need to plug it in to continue playing if you want to game for more than 4-5 hours. Either way, if you game up a lot and play shooters, the Elite for Xbox or the Edge for PS is a must have in my opinion!!
Wouldnt work, would have to be 4 paddles or 4 flat buttons. The domes stick out and would block the button beneath them. I wonder if they’ll do a new one with 4 buttons
It's a nice controller but I do have my gripes. Cons: The glossy buttons I can't stand. The function buttons don't adjust volume at all for the headset, and I'm wearing the damn Sony made one. I am getting cramps from the controller but I'm sure I'll get used to it, I've been using the scuf one for a hot minute now. Battery life is so bad I don't know why they couldn't bump it up more. Trigger resisters don't make as much of a difference as I'd like, I was hoping for that more analog trigger pull on the low setting as you said in the video. Why is there only one color choice, and why is it white... Pros: the sticks feel great as they did on the regular dualsense. The half dome paddles are so good, can't believe this is the first time someone has really used them. Touch pad requires more force to push it in which i like. More grip on the triggers and back feel great. As an aside note, am I the only person that finds the use of the □X○A a little much? I get they like the different button icons but godamn do they need to put it on every square inch of everything they make now?
Theres 4 on pc with ds4windows. Support was added for the Fn buttons in front of the joysticks. + the touchpad (lef/right/up/right+left), it makes for alot of buttons.
I miss my Astro C40. I got the Battle Beaver modules with an increased 110g thumbstick on the right one. I am getting one these PS5 Edge controllers for Christmas, and I am SOOOOOOOOOO excited.
For people that own the sony inzone H7/H9. Set the slider of the dongle to PC. Now you can adjust the volume/chatmix and mute from the edge controller.
First of all I love that you always test with control freaks and 1000 polling rate on pc. This controller is PERFECT to me as I only play single player games on PS5 and I can't play without paddles so my PS5 has collected dust in 2 years. I love haptic feedback and adaptive triggers for immersion I will use my beloved duelshock 4 + back button attachment on pc. I love that controller. It's so much better when it's overclocked there is a clear difference to me. Ghost Of Thushima on brutal is one of my best gaming experiences only because of the back buttons for dodge and staggering + in game sens on the highest. Love this channel
Chef's kiss on this one. Not too much detail to be boring, and not too little detail to leave me wanting more. This has been the best review of this controller on RUclips.
I got started with two different Elite Xbox controllers. They were okay, not bad. Then a year ago I switched to the PS5. I bought a nagashok controller, and aim controller, an evil controller, and just recently I bought the Scuf reflex controller. I also just did the kickstarter for the new aimcon Ultimate. Can't wait to see it, see I almost have as many controllers as you now thanks to you! Great video
One thing i dont think you give to much credit too. is the fact that the trigger stops may still have to much lee way but can easily be remedied with sonys profile and shrinking the trigger deadzone so you get full actuation much sooner
Updated comment. Hey I don’t know if its a big deal to you or not but I was playing around with my Dual Sense Edge on my Steam Deck and they actually allow you to set the Function Buttons as actual buttons. The Steam controller thingie recognizes the FN buttons as rear buttons so you can basically set them as whatever you want. First I just set it so that if I pressed the FN button the LED would change to whatever random purple color I chose and it worked. I don’t know if this is helpful to anyone but as someone who is currently playing a lot of SF6 on my Steam Deck, having 2 extra buttons available to use on my Dual Sense Edge (even though kinda awkward places) is becoming very helpful.
My analog sticks seems a bit tighter... and the handle portion of the controler seems shorter. And I totally agree with the triggers still being to long.
Love the content. Please review the DSX app in steam in combination with the Dual sense edge. The app allows haptic feedback on triggers & paddle, function key customization.
One thing no one seems to notice, which is baffling, is how much outer deadzone the regular DualSense's triggers have. It basically reaches 100% input at 2/3 of the physical range. Does this one still have ridiculous amounts of deadzone? It would be hilarious if at this price point they still don't make use of all the range.
I forgot I pre-ordered this month ago. Got a call today saying they have had it for a while so I picked it up. I use an aim controller V3 remapping controller with mouse click triggers for the likes of warzone and Fortnite. I have to say im in love with the edge. The premium feel is unreal. For me tho I'll use my Aim controller strictly for warzone cos the mouse click triggers are much better then what's on the edge. The edge profiles for different layouts are amazing. Something I wish Aim had. Edge is replacing my standard controller for sure. Paid 160 for the edge so definitely do not regret it for that price. Love the channel ❤️
I received mine last, played for a few hours and just returned it this morning. The trigger stops only work for the lower bumpers and not the top ones. The controller is noticeably heavier, the back paddles have a faster response time than the bumpers when remapped.
No complaints about the edge except if you are using a back paddle it gives you leverage to press it the wrong way. I did that on mine. Pressed the peddle slightly pulling in and the switch itself broke loose inide the controller. Still works but moves inside the body. So id recommend using the half domes instead of paddles if you are rough on controllers like I am.
I've used this controller for about 10 hours already and I like it. My only complaint and I'm sure it'll be addressed in the near future is how small the paddle buttons are. I'm sure paddles will start popping up for sale on amazon.
@@williamsantiago9284 4 takes up too much space so it’s better they didn’t do that. They didn’t want to make the controller like change the way you hold it. So the dome paddles feel like nothing there just went you need it. If it was 4 it would get in the way of your grip
@@xShinobiXx You could always take off the extra two paddles. I do that on my Elite Series 2 when they either annoy me (accidental button presses are an inevitability with the way they’re placed on that controller) or when I am playing a game that doesn’t require 4 paddles. I get what you’re saying, but even then it would have been nice if Sony at least offered the option.
@@DVRKSTXR I think the issue is keeping the controller the same size. That’s their main priority with this. And adding a bigger battery and more parts inside will require a larger shell. It’s better to keep the controller the same side though. There’s probably no space left inside
@@DVRKSTXR You can avoid accidental back paddle presses by replacing the stock paddles with paddles for the Elite 2 sold by SCUF. I think you can place them upside down for that since I remember seeing a review about that where they recommended placing them upside down.
I think this controller is great for single player games. Games like Monster Hunter, Ratchet & Clank, heck even Horizon Forbidden West. The two back buttons help with flow of gameplay. Haven’t touched my regular DualSense controllers these past 48 hours since getting the Edge. I’ll use my Scuf FPS & Razer Wolverine V2 Pro for call of duty
I still have to pump more hours of usage into my DualSense Edge, but I love it so far. Those half-dome buttons feel great for manual driving in GT7. My standards were high considering that I own the Halo Infinite Elite Series 2 and absolutely love that controller. The Edge just takes my favorite main game controller, the DualSense, and amps it up x💯…aside from that battery life. I still have to put it through its paces, but I’m impressed so far. Great and comprehensive review as always. Best one on RUclips.
Got the edge and love it…, it’s solid and got me back playing games after 30years - shame it’s a 2 rear button - look forward to the upgrade. Again, love the channel it’s got to be the best content out there. Much appreciated. 🙌🏻
I actually just got my dualsense the other day I paid 160 for it and I live this thing I think it's a very nice controller the replacement modules make it worth it in my opinion a reg controller is 70 bucks so to fix that for 20 is great deal I recommend instead of buying a extra reg controller buy the edge and tech shouldn't have to worry about buying another controller for long time
Excellent review! So far I’m happy with my Edge but I’m happy you brought up the odor from the case, it’s smells like chemical death. I left it outside on the porch to air out, still smells but looks beautiful. 🤷🏻♂️
I have a hex dualsense with 4 paddles and just grabbed the edge for single player games. The edge feels amazing just like the elite series 2 it just needs the 4 paddles and I've never look back
A couple of things I have to say about the video: _Through japanese interviews it was to understand, that Sony had problem fitting further features (especially 2 face buttons and bigger battery...there just isn't any space left inside the shell), alas the phisically smaller battery than a standard Dualsense and the missing 2 face buttons. Modular sticks apparently take a lot of space _The controller still isn't usable with DS4 because it literally just came out and it's not the same thing as a Dualsense. DS4 will need to roll a new update to be compatible with it. _GuliKit announced hall effect modules through some insiders, I've linked the source in your Discord server I don't know why but through the video I had the impression that you didn't like the controller all that much...Am I misunderstanding this sentiment?
I love the controller, I am just more accustomed to 4 rear button/paddle controllers as that is what I have been using for over 2 years. If Sony did make those claims, that's simply not true, there are a bunch of 3rd part PS5 controllers (I have tested and reviewed) with normal battery life and 4 rear input buttons. All PS5 controllers I have tested have the same PCB so they immediately work with those programs on PC, so as mentioned in the review "I think Sony is using a new unique board here". I investigated the Gullikit news including its main source, stand by my statement in the video.
@@GamerHeavenOfficial I understand, but those other controllers don't have all the features this controller has. Those modules for the sticks are really big. Most of them don't have trigger stops either. Edit: maybe I'm wrong on this, I just think (even based on the teardown of the Edge), that the controller has no extra space for more features.
@@GamerHeavenOfficial Same, hard to go back to 2 extra buttons. I'm curious, what controller for you currently use that has 4 rear/paddles? The ones I use are the astro c40 and a fairly unknown under the radar controller called ZD-O. The ZD-O has 6 extra buttons, it's multiplatform, and it also other small neat features. You can find them on Amazon. The wireless one is rather expensive now, but you can get the wired Xbox one for around 24$.
I feel like DSX is better than DS4 as a PC program for Dualsense related stuff (the steam version since it still receives updates, it's cheap but not free) since it has more options for Dualsense controllers. They've also started adding support for the Edge already, with even more features planned for future updates.
wait GuiliKit is going to make hall effect modules for the Dualsense Edge? That makes this controller way more enticing, i'm probably get one as soon as they release the module
the shorter stick is actually more responsive as it's a shorter distance, the longer stick will give you a higher resolution in movement which is less forgiving if you have to be precise as more likely to wander on the way
Love your videos man, you have been my go-to for controller reviews. I got my dual sense 4 days ago and I'm enjoying it. One thing I wish you would have mentioned during your ergonomics/comfort segment is how they changed the design of the handle grips from having a flat edge on the inner grip to rounded. That was a huge bonus in comfort for me. As someone with larger hands, I always found my pinkies digging into that flat edge when I grip my dual sense.
She’s definitely a looker! Had to get one based on your awesome review, Kevin. My AIM DualSense controller developed stick drift instantly and one the cheap back paddles broke off. Screw those slimy chumps!
Would you be able to review the thrustmaster eswap x when the wheel module comes out? I'm super curious about that one. Plus the edge could add different modules too like thrustmaster. Thanks a bunch! Love your stuff!
The building anticipation for the removable thumbstick module section has me on the edge of my seat
Don't fall off. 🤣 Glad to have you watching brother.
Gulikit is making a module for it that is hall effect so it won't ever drift, don't buy the Sony modules

Best damn controller reviews on RUclips man.
Lol I don’t even like PS or even have anything by them. I got stuck watching this bc you are so funny and informative at the same time 😂
The controller goat with another great review. I’m still gonna wait to see how the Victrix fairs out in comparison.
Thanks Darren. I’m super excited for the Victrix
that controller is great!!! i was hoping too for 4 back buttons, I own a BattleBeaver, but for some games i'm good with only 2
Did you know that you can switch sides for the paddles?? they align like the Scuf back paddle on PS4 controllers and it feels a bit better actually!!
Hands down the best gaming gear channel. Keep ‘em coming bro as well as all the smarcassm.
Thanks Gavin
Idk if you’ll see this but with DSX you can actually use the FN buttons and map to anything!
@@xShinobiXx hahaha niceeee! Enjoy it, it's a pretty good controller!
This controller would be perfect if it had 4 paddles
4 paddles and a long battery life like the elite series 2 controller. Now that to me would be perfect !
It does on PC with DSX. The function buttons are mappable like the paddles are.
@@rodp1984 but those aren’t paddles… you would still need to take your thumb off the stick to press them which defeats the purpose of paddles… it’s nice to have 2 extra buttons but they aren’t paddles
@@tehCostHD True. I've yet to use them even though it's possible to.
Got the eswapX a couple months ago , favorite controller hands down
Ps5?
I’m new to the pro controller scene, if you are playing on steam can you map the “paddles” as their own inputs?
Same here its been taking me for a loop
You ever play gho😢of Tsushima legends🏹⚡️👁️
Hopefully third party controller makers (aim, scuf, hex, battle beaver) will make a version of their own with the dual edge (since most are usually using the same og dual sense controller and customise some more) for the coming months. It would be the best for all. 4 buttons/triggers at the back, and swappable sticks on the front. That would be epic!
ExtremeRate is probably going to release a mod (which is much cheaper than purchasing a modded gamepad from the modders you mentioned) since ExtremeRate already did that for the original DualSense gamepad and other first party gamepads.
Would you really want to pay $300 or more for a controller ?
I can't live without 4 paddles/buttons anymore
Same its a marketing scam that we will live with forever because we love our paddles
It would be so nice to have the rear dome AND paddles as 4 back buttons
Wouldnt work, would have to be 4 paddles or 4 flat buttons. The domes stick out and would block the button beneath them. I wonder if they’ll do a new one with 4 buttons
Bro this video is so entertaining and so informative. I just subbed !
I get they like the different button icons but godamn do they need to put it on every square inch of everything they make now?
gulikit confirmed they will make hall sensor ps5 edge sticks
You can also have the large rear triggers fitted vertically as well as horizontally
As usual, an amazing review! Pretty disappointing that there are only 2 back domes/paddles.
I’ve only ever used 2 (scuf, strikepack and C40) so im fine with it. The controller is gorgeous
You don't need 4 on this controller it's 🔥🔥 the way it is, it's changed my games soo much 👍
Theres 4 on pc with ds4windows. Support was added for the Fn buttons in front of the joysticks. + the touchpad (lef/right/up/right+left), it makes for alot of buttons.
Quality of your videos are always top notch.
Wowee, I feel like I just bumped into the controller guru. Man knows his ish like no other I've seen before.
I miss my Astro C40. I got the Battle Beaver modules with an increased 110g thumbstick on the right one. I am getting one these PS5 Edge controllers for Christmas, and I am SOOOOOOOOOO excited.
Dude reminds me of my friend from high school. 1 toe thumb and 1 regular thumb.
I’ve been fighting him off the entire time but I’ve begun to fall for his commitment to his cadence and humor
A good idea too is to swap right stick with left when you get drift because it probably wont have as bad drift
For people that own the sony inzone H7/H9. Set the slider of the dongle to PC. Now you can adjust the volume/chatmix and mute from the edge controller.
ONLY REVIEW EVER NEEDED!
First of all I love that you always test with control freaks and 1000 polling rate on pc. This controller is PERFECT to me as I only play single player games on PS5 and I can't play without paddles so my PS5 has collected dust in 2 years. I love haptic feedback and adaptive triggers for immersion
I will use my beloved duelshock 4 + back button attachment on pc. I love that controller. It's so much better when it's overclocked there is a clear difference to me.
Ghost Of Thushima on brutal is one of my best gaming experiences only because of the back buttons for dodge and staggering + in game sens on the highest. Love this channel
What do you mean by "overclocked" and how do you overclock the gamepad?
@@HK_on_YT software on pc there change the polling rate to 1000 from 250
Yes finally! I was wondering when you were gonna upload this video lol
31:35 theme from perfect Dark?
Yes indeed. Good ear
My analog sticks seems a bit tighter... and the handle portion of the controler seems shorter. And I totally agree with the triggers still being to long.
The half done feels so natural (with 1 day of hands on experience lol)
Love the content. Please review the DSX app in steam in combination with the Dual sense edge. The app allows haptic feedback on triggers & paddle, function key customization.
Will do my friend, and I’m glad you like 👍🏼
Im gonna paint that glossy plate, its cool that we have the option to pop that right off
at 23:05, the rest analog sticks position is at 0.00392, which is the one of hall effect analog modules, are you sure these are potentiometer ones?
One thing no one seems to notice, which is baffling, is how much outer deadzone the regular DualSense's triggers have. It basically reaches 100% input at 2/3 of the physical range.
Does this one still have ridiculous amounts of deadzone? It would be hilarious if at this price point they still don't make use of all the range.
You can completely customise stick movement and deadzone so you’ll be fine
@@KiriKat no, you can't. not the triggers.
@@oleg_aka_djmeg oh yah it’s the inner deadzone
Respect for that Echo helmet brother 🫡 great vid,
I've used this controller for about 10 hours already and I like it. My only complaint and I'm sure it'll be addressed in the near future is how small the paddle buttons are. I'm sure paddles will start popping up for sale on amazon.
Not just that but it only having 2 is a big issue for me to since I’ve had 4 forever. I’d like to have the option at least
I would literally pay you to help set up all my profiles for each game lol This video def made me sub! Love your humor :)
Man… I was waiting for the input lag results for so long 😢 anyway great video! 33:18
Can someone explain to me why you would ever get trigger stops for “faster input” instead of just using the bumpers
Triggers are in the ideal spot for triggering , and bumpers are for bumping people off. It’s all really quite scientific. 🧪
@@GamerHeavenOfficial 😂
That worked better on ps4
To me, using the bumpers with my big gorilla hands on the ds5 is very uncomfortable
@@GamerHeavenOfficial 😂
I think this controller is great for single player games. Games like Monster Hunter, Ratchet & Clank, heck even Horizon Forbidden West. The two back buttons help with flow of gameplay. Haven’t touched my regular DualSense controllers these past 48 hours since getting the Edge. I’ll use my Scuf FPS & Razer Wolverine V2 Pro for call of duty
Mine just came in the mail today and it's beautiful.
Could you look in to the extra click in the L2 R2 buttons in the shortest trigger stops? Seems to be a growing issue. Mine has this too.
Great rundown; I’m new to all this shenanigans and this information was just what I needed. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Got the edge and love it…, it’s solid and got me back playing games after 30years - shame it’s a 2 rear button - look forward to the upgrade. Again, love the channel it’s got to be the best content out there. Much appreciated. 🙌🏻
Excellent review as always, thanks big dog!
Thanks man, I was hoping you would get to see this before it went public. I’m glad you liked it.
I actually just got my dualsense the other day I paid 160 for it and I live this thing I think it's a very nice controller the replacement modules make it worth it in my opinion a reg controller is 70 bucks so to fix that for 20 is great deal I recommend instead of buying a extra reg controller buy the edge and tech shouldn't have to worry about buying another controller for long time
I’m on pc, and I went with the elite 2 with a no question asked warranty from Best Buy, I also play wired
Underrated channel.
the throw on the triggers are not short enough..sold mine as soon as i opened it
Excellent review!
The edge feels amazing just like the elite series 2 it just needs the 4 paddles and I've never look back
A couple of things I have to say about the video:
_Through japanese interviews it was to understand, that Sony had problem fitting further features (especially 2 face buttons and bigger battery...there just isn't any space left inside the shell), alas the phisically smaller battery than a standard Dualsense and the missing 2 face buttons. Modular sticks apparently take a lot of space
_The controller still isn't usable with DS4 because it literally just came out and it's not the same thing as a Dualsense. DS4 will need to roll a new update to be compatible with it.
_GuliKit announced hall effect modules through some insiders, I've linked the source in your Discord server
I don't know why but through the video I had the impression that you didn't like the controller all that much...Am I misunderstanding this sentiment?
This is an amazing review. And funny too.
Thank you
Best hardware reviewer and most entertaining.
Because of this review an comparison video with razor pro V2. I returned razor to GameStop. (took some finesse) bought dualsnese edge immediately
the shorter stick is actually more responsive as it's a shorter distance, the longer stick will give you a higher resolution in movement which is less forgiving if you have to be precise as more likely to wander on the way
If you actually switch the back buttons left right right to left it’s going to be more grip and easy buttons push if you have a big hand
I literally told myself “I won’t checkout with this controller until Kevin reviews it” 😅
I’m loving this roller
Love your videos man, you have been my go-to for controller reviews. I got my dual sense 4 days ago and I'm enjoying it. One thing I wish you would have mentioned during your ergonomics/comfort segment is how they changed the design of the handle grips from having a flat edge on the inner grip to rounded. That was a huge bonus in comfort for me. As someone with larger hands, I always found my pinkies digging into that flat edge when I grip my dual sense.
Thank you, and good point 😊
I'm fine with everything, except the lazy directional. Glad the sticks are really easy to swap and allow future upgrades.
The only video that mattered this week.
Have you done a video on over clocking this one
Great video as always!
Cant you put the L2 R2 on lowest setting and then lower the dead zone to try and copy the digital presses? Surely gotta be close?
Awesome review🥳👌🏼 keep up the good work🙌🏼
She’s definitely a looker!
It’s actually being shipped to me from Thrustmaster. They saw the ESWAP review and asked if I wanted to review the forza racing wheel controller
@@GamerHeavenOfficial can't wait for that. Had my eye on that forza one.
yes i am getting me a Sony Edge Controller in a few days!
