Comprehensive straight to the point guides. Thank you very much.
my pleasure and thank you for taking the time to comment!
Cooking curciferous veggies is a must from what I have been told
Serotonin is produced in the gut... So when you're having gut upset, your serotonin production is going to be upset too. Everything goes hand in hand.
Also, the more you drink, the more you pee out electrolytes. So you have to make sure that you're replacing those electrolytes throughout the day. A good sea salt is almost mandatory. You should be getting approximately 2000 to 4,000 mg sodium daily. If you have high blood pressure, drinking enough water can help lower that blood pressure. But you still should always have a minimum of 500 mg of salt. It also protects your heart ironically.
Also water cannot enter your cell unless the receptors of calcium, potassium, magnesium and sodium are met. Most people do not get enough potassium which is 4700 mg per day.
So it's best to eat good healthy foods. Mackerel is very high and potassium and other good things, salmon, eggs, quinoa as well as good oils as well as fruits and vegetables. Vegetables. I personally eat a tangerine a day and cherries I find this gives me exactly what I need.
such a great response and so informative too! Thank you so much. I notice that with preparing all my own food at home that I need to make sure to eat enough good quality salt. I aim for 1 tsp a day and that works well for me. And I LOVE mackerel! It's such an underrated fish. And totally agree on the potassium too. Too few of us eat enough potassium daily. Magnesium takes a hit too.
Whenever I try to add progesterone cream to my regimen, I end up constipated and bloated

@@sharlyneteesdale2349 my pleasure. Do you know what is causing the bloating?
I weigh 95 pounds do I take the adult dosage for magnesium citrate which is 2 tablets. Each 250 mg???? Or just 1 tablet at 250 mg? For the constipation
I would take just one tablet (250mg) to begin with and see how you get on with that.

Before you start taking tablets for magnesium, you should try to find foods that are high and magnesium...
I got sick with a virus and developed severe constipation. All my tests are normal. It has been 2 months of trying to fix constipation. I spent a ton of money on doctors. I am trying to take a bit more thyroid meds. I never had any problems prior. They use the kitchen sink diagnosis: ibs.
Have you tried slippery elm? Also there is an herb called centaury That is really supposed to help with digestion...
Same thing happened to me two months ago! Developed gastritis and possibly gerd. I think something was going around, many people got sick where I worked. I've been miserable, treated the constipation with fiber diet, but maybe too much fiber - have chronic diarrhea now!
@@flamingpieherman9822 great suggestions. Have you used slippery elm and centaury before too?
@@susanlee8609 are you taking probiotics to help restore the gut flora? And is the diarrhoea still a problem for you?
are you taking a wide-ranging probiotic supplement or eating / drinking fermented foods to help restore you gut flora?
I am from India.......my CT scan, sonography, endoscopy and papsmear all normal.........have developed gerd.....reflux......i have started homeopathy.......is this menoausal? Will i ever get normal.... homeopathy i started as i didn't want to take allopathy any more.....my homeopathy doctor says its menoa6.... hormonal changes....
Hello to India! Menopause might be causing digestive sluggishness and you can definitely become more sensitive to certain foods, but I'm not sure it would cause GERD. Are you getting any other menopause symptoms?
@@katehartley7566 yes , anxiety, palpitations, crawling skin, blurred vision.......these symptoms have settled down ........left with burning stomach and gas😔
@@aakashihanda6580 same here what are you using for it ?
Will going on HRT help ? I suffer with ibs diarrohea , Severely ! I’ve also been told I don’t produce digestive enzymes and should to take them !
Which digestive enzymes do you take ? I’ve been given Creon and feel anxious taking them
Can perimenopause cause yellow stools? Thank you
Hi there! Hormone changes can definitely affect how your digestive system works and I know quite a few ladies who have had loose bowels and also yellow stools. However, I would also just get that checked out by your doctor just in case there is an underlying issue. It's unlikely, but best to be safe and probably overly cautious at this stage. I've also heard that stools can get quite mucousy during the menopausal years too.

This is lack of bile. You may need Tudca or bile salts. In empty stomach
I used ENEMAS AND YOGA for bloating, constipation and flatulence or gas.
And did you find it helps?
@@katehartley7566 Yes and it helps me a lot.
@@katehartley7566 I have been doing ENEMAS AND YOGA for detoxing, fitness, health, wellness, disease, illness, pain relief and weight loss since 1995 when I was 13 years old.
@@ENEMA_AND_YOGA_CHANNEL I think a lot of people are put off by the idea of enemas, but I think they're a great idea. I know a lot of people who also do them regularly at home.
@@katehartley7566 Very true. I have been doing enemas (and loving every last second of it) on a daily basis since I was a 13 year old YOGI in 1995. My channel is based on my personal experiences doing ENEMAS AND YOGA. Feel free to ask me any questions about my personal experiences.
Can nausea happen in post menopause?
yes it can. Have you had it checked out? Is it something that comes and goes? It might be related to your blood sugar levels ....
@katehartley7566 Yes, comes and goes. I also have sinus fullness along with headaches. Been to doctor CT scan
