    The Cinebot 30's prop guard frame cracks if you hit something head on. You don't have to be going very fast (medium speed). I've noticed cracks in the frame where the camera cage meets the prop guards, and also, for some reason, just under the antenna mount in the back (also in the plastic, prop guard frame). The cracks are forming where the two camera cage screw holes are. The plastic is very thin there and is prone to easily breaking. If you've bumped into anything, check the frame for cracks.
    I've ordered a new frame to replace the cracked prop guard, but if the next frame cracks as fast as this one (I received mine about a week before Christmas), I'll probably shop around for a different cinewhoop. I'm new to FPV and have mostly just been flying over grass as I am still learning.
    I contacted GEPRC two days ago about the frame issue but haven't gotten a response yet.
    I absolutely love this quad and hope I just got one out of a bad batch. I just want to give a heads up since I haven't heard much in terms of frame problems.

      I bought one myself and it arrived last week. It flies just great with a full gopro 10! Its obviously heavy and not good for freestyle but even with a huge 1400mah 6s battery, its great for slow cinematic shots. With all that weight, its very tame and controlable when indoors. Got 7-8 minutes with this setup.
      Also flown it with a gopro bones and the same big battery, got 9-10min flight times and very agile, even with this battery which is bigger than the one they recommend... but i really like heavy quads for indoor real estate and architecture tours, so even with a whoping 620g total weight with gopro10 + 1400mah 6s, i really enjoy flying it.

    Wow. That GEPRC CINEBOT30 FLIES SO SMOOTH. I really enjoyed your video. It was on the top of my search for the cinebot30. Thank you for shari g. I had one concern. When you caught that drone out of the air, it was impressive, but risky. Please avoid catching any drone that is powerful enough to cause injury. Safe rule of the wise, if you wouldn't touch it with it armed and props spinning, then you shouldn't touch the props with the battery plugged in at all. Catching that drone from the bottom is a huge risk. Accidents happen, and electronics are not perfect. Please plug in the battery on the takeoff surface. Unplug battery after drone has landed, is disarmed, and transmitter is secure. Then, it will be properly safe to handle it near or around the props. I would encourage you to share some safety information in a future video to give your audience a good idea of proper drone handling and operating. Thank you again for your time and video!

    Great video. I cannot figure out how these GPERC drones are build and how to set them up? Do you have to build it, if so, does it require soldering? How is the setup? Do you have to configure ever single parameter, like you had to with Pixhawk controllers? Do they have some sort of flight modes or is it pure manual flight? Thanks.

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  Год назад +2

Built my first drone 10 years ago and hated all that setting up, messing around with flight controller and soldering. I was hoping that FPV drones made it past that. You know, made it more user friendly. I guess not. Unless of course you go with DJI again. I don't mind the DJI stuff, but the last thing I would want to do is crash that FPV drone. @@fc1133 you might have that backwards. FPV drones are the easiest drones on the planet to repair. You see, as a person learns the FPV hobby they also learn how everything works so every FPV pilot is their own repairman. Certainly FPV is difficult but everyone you see on RUclips flying FPV all began with zero knowledge. So if ya wanna get into FPV it is certainly doable and all up to you.

      I do not own a TBS TANGO 2 Transmitter so can't comment on that. However, as long as you get the CINEBOT 30 with the DJI 03 Air unit, then your FPV Goggles will work fine. As for a receiver in the drone, if you do buy the TBS TANGO 2, then the receiver should be a TBS Nano.

    Nice video, thanks for sharing! Subscribed :)
    I've been flying drones since 2013 (started with DJI F450 DIY) but would like to get into FPV and cinewhoop. The GEPRC Cinebot30 looks like a good one to start with. I'm curious about the DJI RC you're using, I have something similar with my Phantom 4, is there a receiver that I can bind to with that RC? Or do I need to get something new like the Radiomaster T16S? Thanks!

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  Год назад +2

      The RC you have for your Phantom is what is known as a TOY CONTROLLER. The reason they are called TOYS is because they are designed to only work with the Phantom and nothing else so when you toss away your Phantom, you also toss away your controller. To get into the FPV Hobby you would need a programable RC radio. Radiomaster is a good choice.

      Both are great. I think most would go for the Cinebot due to the flight time & lights.

    Hi there. I appreciate if anyone can help... I just bought my first drone, a cineboot30 (ELRS 2.4 receiver). I am trying to configure it in Betta Flight to use it with DJI FPV controller 2, it is possible? I am missing something? Maybe I am making a newbie mistake, or just it is not possible and I need other controler build in ELRS 2.4?? thanks for any advice

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  10 месяцев назад +1

      Since you bought a drone with an ELRS receiver it means a person only does this because they own an ELRS Radio. If you don’t own an ELRS radio then you have to remove the ELRS connection and reconfigure the drone in Betaflight Configurator.

    The frame is quite similar to cinelog series, if not the same. Is this cinebot line replacing cinelog series? I really don't see anything special about this drone compared to my cinelog35.

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  Год назад +1

      Easy… no one in the FPV hobby will follow or care about remote ID rules because FPV drones are not consider a Spy drone or threat because they are all flown in small areas for the joy of freestyle and going through objects.

    Why can't Drone Cameras be mounted on a Gimble so the can remain level no matter the attitude of the Drone. just in Tilt. You want to see the Horizon when Banking in a turn.

      The FPV hobby has never asked for this due to how pilots fly in Acro Mode so you’ll have to go with DJI and their HYBRID FPV DRONE of either Avata or DJI FPV.

    Hi, may I know if there is a need to know about betaflight configurator if one wants to fly this drone? I am new to fpv so I am not so sure of what to do to set up the drone. Till now I am only aware that one needs to have the dji goggles and transmitter to fly this drone. Other than these do you need anything else? Thanks.

      si estas volando estabilizado es normal que se mueva para algún lado si no esta bien calibrado en betaflight. Pero lo mejor es volarlo en Acro para sacarle su potencial (y ahi no se va a mover salvo que tú lo hagas)
