@@anguismemes1666 What are you doing when you go out to fly? Do you just fly? Or are you paying attention to what you are doing good, and what you are not doing good? It helps to be self-critical about your flying. I hated that my flying looked "jittery" in the beginning, so I started to work on flying smoother. Then a few weeks later I compared my flying to some older footage. And if you keep doing this "basic" loop, of always checking your own footage and be critical about it, you will learn more and more, and get better eventually. Great progress mate! The worst thing is flying drones is almost impossible in my country right now... This stuff gives me goosebumps... Good luck in your fpv career!
Nice video! I started my journey six months ago with the DJI FPV. Now flying a 5 inch Speedy Bee, that made a big difference. Not had as much practice as you but getting better all the time. Looking back it's amazing how better I'm getting. Hope I'm as good as you in another six months 🙏
Thank you man! How did you like the DJI FPV personally? I only heard that it breaks once it touches anything lol. You got the Mario 5? You're already quite smooth on the sticks from what I saw. Keep working on it and you will be a great pilot!
@btastic_fpv Thx bud, it's the Master 5 V2, and yes, the Dji fpv is made of glass!. It got me started and is a nice drone, but once I started flying manual it was very unforgiving. I rebuilt it several times, and the parts are expensive. The Speedy Bee is much easier to fly and for more robust. 👍
mate, your progression is awesome! I started with freestyle but after riping 3 drones I realized while travelling is it just not doable, so now I'm doing mostly long range but seeing this vid I do miss this feeling of accomplishes after a successful new trick. keep it up!
Absolutely amazing progress and such an inspiring video. It just goes to show that you get out what you put in! I need to get more hours flying and in the Sim
Thank you! You always have to compare yourself to .. yourself. Other than that, it gets frustrating real fast if you compare yourself to pro freestyle pilots. This is why I am documenting my progress, to look back some time and see where it all started. It is so much fun to watch old DVR. Keep some older footage around and compare yourself to it. You will be surprised how much you can notice in which areas you are improving.
@btastic_fpv Doing the same thing, these beginning videos I'm capturing are boring, but it's good to show progress. I record every flight, and not all make it to RUclips. :-)
@@btastic_fpv I flew years ago, started back in 2017/18 but all I did was crash. No SIM time got out of it because I felt like I wasn't improving. Decided to get serious about learning again about a month 1/2 ago, followed along with the Bardwell videos and now getting out to fly as much as I can. Still a long way to go.
@@techdfpv Awesome! From what I've heard, it is easier than ever to fly drones since the software and hardware improved so much over the last 2-3 years. Bardwell is the best for beginners. I inhaled most of his channel in my first few weeks. Keep at it and have fun!!
The trippy spin comment "what a stupid idea" made me laugh so hard. im in that exact spot i can do them on the sim pretty well but not so much in real life haha i love this video fantastic progress
Thank you so much! I actually increased the gravity in uncrashed to make my quad heavier, because in real life I was falling down too much. Once I got used to use more throttle, I was actually able to do it in real life :) Good luck man!
Thanks for sharing your progress, that shows your dedication and persistence to achieve this. Also shows that it is possible . I am about to start my day #1 possibly this week because my controller will arrive today (dji) 😅 nothing special but i will need to get a real fpv quad (right now i only have an avata2) . I will follow you and enjoy the experience , thanks for sharing friend! Thanks for showing others it is possible
I heard from so many beginners that they see me as an inspiration. Never thought about being someone that can inspire. So thank you for the kind words. Means a lot. Enjoy your journey and don't be scared of crashing. It will happen. 100% :)
Thanks bro! I definitely am! Sometimes it is hard to know how good you are, until some good pilots tell you. I was always comparing myself to.. myself to see progress.
Thank you man! If you put in the time and effort, you can do it too! The number one tip: don't be scared of crashing. If you fly without much caring, you have more brain capacity for the fun stuff :)
@@btastic_fpvalready passed the stage. Already learned how to solder 😂 so no fesr of repairing. Switched from frsky to a radiomaster boxer with elrs. The difference is day and night. Wish you all the best!
so good dude! I just started too and I am stuck in Liftoff with shitty trigger control and crashes everywhere... I also bought a 5" Nazgul and am too scared to fly it yet hahah... excellent progress shown in this video, congrats dude 🎉🤘
Thank you man 🙏. My first sim experience was quite the same! I had around 20h in the sim before I flew my little tiny whoop. It flies quite differently from the sim. That's why I went to the 3.5" almost immediately. Keep practicing until you feel confident, and then start slowly working on the real life flying. The Nazgul is a great drone and can take a beating. So don't be scared!
@@btastic_fpv Yeah I think maybe I should have started with a tiny whoop or a cinewhoop to get started but I ummed and ahhed so much I just decided to dive in! Will definitely do more sim practice before I take off with the Nazgul 😂
@@DanFliesDrones In hindsight I could've started with a 3.5". I rarely fly the whoop anymore, so it just collects dust. So the Nazgul was definitely a good choice!

Brilliant to see this. Inspirational for me as I've only just started myself.. posted a couple and will probably do something similar to this after a year. I hope to be half as good as you. Great vid!
Thanks so much! Yea the initial spending is kinda.. a lot. But once you get going, you are not spending that much every month. Depending on much you destroy your drones :)
Awesome journey man. And you compiled that video, making it really enjoyable from start to the end! Good job! I am year and a half in, but skill wise around your week 35 or so 😁
Thank you! Glad you liked watching it! I started working the video starting from like week #40 or so :) Don't worry about the progress to much man, there is no general benchmark. Everyone has their own speed, time and goals! As long as you're enjoying the hobby, you're doing everything right!
Bandos can be rough! Some days I had to pack my stuff after 1-2 lipos. Those days are just frustrating and makes you second guessing if you're good enough. But the next week you do something sick, and you're good again :D It is a roller coaster somtimes
Amazing video bro. I'm two weeks in with my first fpv drone. yeah, throttle control is crazy difficult but important😮💨I found that practicing on a sim choosing a level that forces you to maintain a tight altitude. (liftoff-minus two) helped me tremendously.
Thanks! You can do it too! Just keep practicing one thing at a time, and you can get good in no time. Don't be scared of crashing, you will crash regardless. So you might as well try something cool when you crash :)
Great video 💚 I started just after summer last year and as time got on I upgraded my stuff until I spent all my money on the DJI FPV and crashed it😢 but I left it a few months made more money and got myself a tinyhawk 2 freestyle and a radio master zorro so time to get back into now 💚💚💚
I got my first fpv (dji avata) around Christmas and pavo20 in June and 5inch the beginning of July hope I get as good as you. I think I need a bando basher since I don’t want to kill my current one.
@btastic_fpv if you don't mind me asking a few questions. Did you race any at all, like tiny whoops or just stick to a 5" and loved it? Also the coach thing. How does that work? Never thought of it but I been flying solo for 6 months.
@@joemredwine75 sure no worries. I did not race in real life. We only did some in the simulator for fun. I stick to 5inch freestyle. Getting coached means my friend m0v3 showed me how to do it. He watched me do it and gave me tips what I did wrong and how to do it properly. Hope that helps 🙏
Wow! I would like to start, but I'm reading about it, I need to understand how to start with electronic 😃 you've practiced a lot, and now you are a pro! Nice job!! 👏🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Thank you dude! Where are you from? It is quite restricted here in germany too.

Cool breakdown of the year and your progress 👍 enjoyed
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it!
That is some serious progress right there! You are already a very talented pilot and I wish you the best. I wish we had bandos like that in the US :(
Dude thank you! Appreciate it. I see a lot of americans flying in office parks, not an option for you? I'd love to rip some office park :D
@@btastic_fpv Not really many offices with some hight around me, I'm always on the lookout for places to rip xD
I started with freestyle but after riping 3 drones I realized while travelling is it just not doable, so now I'm doing mostly long range but seeing this vid I do miss this feeling of accomplishes after a successful new trick. keep it up!
Thanks so much dude! Long range is something I'd love to do sometimes too, but quite impossible where I live..
Absolutely amazing progress and such an inspiring video. It just goes to show that you get out what you put in! I need to get more hours flying and in the Sim
Thank you dude! You can do it!
Loved this progression video... really shows how dedicated you have to be to learn FPV freestyling, good job mate !
Thanks a lot! 🙏 I am very dedicated and eager, always learning something new!
Lots of cool places to fly out by you! Looks awesome! Awesome seeing the progression!
Thank you so much! Bandos get demolished every year though. So new spots might become an issue sooner or later..
Thanks for sharing, great progress. As a beginner you feel like it will be forever and day to get to where you want to be. Keep up the great work.
@@techdfpv Love to hear it! How long have you been flying so far?
Awesome dude, very inspiring. Next year I’ll be joining you as an FPV drone pilot. Will be subscribing to your channel for more content 👌🏽
Man I started FPV a week again, still practicing in simulator, but it looks promising watching you progress like this ! Good job ! :)
Thanks man! Good luck on your journey!!
Really enjoyed the music you chose to pair with this!
Thank you! I had like 5 or 6 which I liked, it is hard to make decisions. Glad you liked them!
What a great job man! You inspired me to improve my pilot skills more and more!
Thank you! 🙏 Thats awesome to hear. Have fun flying!
I got so excited when you nailed the tricks you were practicing. nice video man!
Thanks, imagine how I felt :D It is just so amazing to finally get what you are working towards.
Appreciate the comment!
Hell of a progress man!!! Bravo!!
Thank you! Appreciate it!
Aerial gymnastics with your fingers. Beautiful.
Thanks, I love it!
Dude great video, gave me a realistic timeline on flying fpv from the beginning.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. Let me know where you are in 1 year :)
Great video mate 👍 You've developed so much in one year keep it up!
Thanks a ton! I will keep trying to improve :)
Very well put together and, most importantly, enjoyable to watch matey!!
Thanks you man! Glad you enjoyed it. Makes me want to make more content!
This was amazing to watch! The progression was awesome and inspiring to watch!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! 🙏
Aweosme video mate! Your progression is amazing!!
Thanks!! 🙏
Only learning so pretty inspirational how far you have come .. Thanks & Happy Ripping 😀
Thank you, you can do it too! :)
You got so much better at flying so fast! It was great to see your progression right from the start 🙌 Nice video!
Thanks dude! 🙏
Mega gut bro! Mach weiter so :) cool dass wir dabei waren ❤
Danke dir 😍 Waren echt paar geile Sessions mit euch ❤
This was so dope to watch, thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙏
That progression, though! Was awesome seeing how you got to where you are now.
Thanks so much! I mostly did it for me to see where I am now. Didn't expect the video to blow up that much!
Once I got used to use more throttle, I was actually able to do it in real life :)
Good luck man!
@@btastic_fpv thanks! I'll post a video as soon as I get it!
You've come a long way in a short time. Great stuff.
Thank you so much! Appreciate it!
Amazing FPV journey, Loved the way you documented , amazing stick control
, just subbed
Thank you! Glad you liked it. Appreciated!!
A pleasure to watch. On my 6th month. Congratulations

Epic progression dude! You should be super proud of yourself! Subbed! 👏
Thanks bro! I definitely am! Sometimes it is hard to know how good you are, until some good pilots tell you. I was always comparing myself to.. myself to see progress.
Woah, I really enjoyed that.
Thanks man! 🙏
Insane progress you’re killin it
Thanks dude! 🙏
Way to go ,keep pushing yourself . great video God bless. Take care. Stay safe.
Thanks man. 🙏 You too!!
What a learning curve! Respect! It will take me longer 😂 I do fly over a year now and I am not quite there yet 😅 keep on flying!!!
@@mydauphinefilms Sounds great. Radiomaster Boxer is a beast! Same for you dude :)
Great flying I’m on my way there. Wish I had people to fly with in az
Thanks! You can do it! Maybe check some local FB groups or ask on reddit. There are probably some pilots in AZ too :)
so good dude!
@@btastic_fpv I getcha! I was looking at the Cinebot25 here (Australia) but its 8-900$!!! And I have a mini 4 pro for cinematic stuff so I just thought fuckit, go hard or go home hahaha! Many crashes to come... LOL
@@DanFliesDrones Holy smokes, thats alotta money. It is 600€ here. Also quite expensive. I'd suggest building my quad from the video. You can build it for around 350€. Not sure how much aussie dollars that is. Keep sending it!
Brilliant to see this. Inspirational for me as I've only just started myself.. posted a couple and will probably do something similar to this after a year.
I hope to be half as good as you. Great vid!
Thanks so much! You got some solid flying on your belt already, keep at it!
Send me your video after a year, excited to see your progress :)
This is awesome the amount of progression is amazing keep it up
Thanks!! 🙏
Your progress is phenomenal!
I've been looking into making my own first FPV drone.
Hopefully by next year I'll have one.
Thanks so much! Yea the initial spending is kinda.. a lot. But once you get going, you are not spending that much every month. Depending on much you destroy your drones :)
Nice one! FPV is difficult and you've come a long way.
Thank you man 🙏

Excellent work mate. I'm coming behind ya.
Nice! Keep at it and you will overtake me :)
Very nice progression, I hope I can get to the same standard in the time frame.
Thank you! Of course you can do it! Just keep practicing one thing at a time :)
Awesome journey man. And you compiled that video, making it really enjoyable from start to the end! Good job! I am year and a half in, but skill wise around your week 35 or so 😁
Thank you! Glad you liked watching it! I started working the video starting from like week #40 or so :)
Don't worry about the progress to much man, there is no general benchmark. Everyone has their own speed, time and goals! As long as you're enjoying the hobby, you're doing everything right!
insane pilot, learning now with certus x hope to be like this one day
Thanks dude! You can do it too! Enjoy it!
Great flying and great spots to learn
Bandos can be rough! Some days I had to pack my stuff after 1-2 lipos. Those days are just frustrating and makes you second guessing if you're good enough. But the next week you do something sick, and you're good again :D It is a roller coaster somtimes
Amazing video bro. I'm two weeks in with my first fpv drone. yeah, throttle control is crazy difficult but important😮💨I found that practicing on a sim choosing a level that forces you to maintain a tight altitude. (liftoff-minus two) helped me tremendously.
Hell yea! Thats a good idea. In uncrashed you could even build your own maps to your liking. Keep at it, it will get easier!
you are absolutely crazy good man i cant wait to get my first FPV drone and start doing sick things like this!!!!
Thanks! Appreciate it! Just go slow and one step at a time :)

mad respect, im getting into fpv and it seems you have talent
Thanks! You can do it too! Just keep practicing one thing at a time, and you can get good in no time. Don't be scared of crashing, you will crash regardless. So you might as well try something cool when you crash :)
Great video 💚 I started just after summer last year and as time got on I upgraded my stuff until I spent all my money on the DJI FPV and crashed it😢 but I left it a few months made more money and got myself a tinyhawk 2 freestyle and a radio master zorro so time to get back into now 💚💚💚
Thank you so much! Tinyhawk 2 and Radiomaster Zorro are excellent choices. How do you like the setup?
@@btastic_fpv I haven’t had a chance to use it yet but I really can’t wait 💚
I got my first fpv (dji avata) around Christmas and pavo20 in June and 5inch the beginning of July hope I get as good as you. I think I need a bando basher since I don’t want to kill my current one.
What is your current 5 inch? Most of them can take a beating.

@@filippoambrosi5695 I will probably keep the focus on uploading more clips, maybe add a few stories on how I approach certain lines maybe? But I probably won't do reviewing. There are many channels on youtube already that are doing reviews. The space is to occupied for me to get started.

Subbed. Nice job mate. I went about the same speed , didn’t focus on technical as much as you though, but was big into cliff dives and mountain surfing. Loved that close power loop over the tree! Shaved!
Thanks dude! I'd love to do some cinematic some time. Just to see how it all goes. But all we have is bandos, forests and grassy fields (which most are not allowed to fly anyways). Maybe in the future, but for now it will be freestyle
