In regards to originality; every story and idea has been done under the sun, but being creatively desperate to make something new is akin to chasing perfection. We can create new things, but that's from taking inspiration from our lived experiences and what genres/mediums we gravitate towards the most. Don't be the Ouroboros in the pursuit of absolute originality, embrace inspiration.

I don't think he's tracing a model.
The stiffness is coming from focusing too heavy on the figure and not on what the character is doing and feeling in the moment.
You can see the difference in the fight scenes.
When they're fighting, it alright.
When they're not, characters take on awkward action figure poses.
If he thought of better verbs to draw the characters with, i think it'd help a whole lot.
For example, instead of "standing", how about "slouching"?
Instead of "looking", "gazing"
Instead of "talking", "pleading"

I don't think a plot or characters need to be relatable, its the theme that should be universal imo. Also idk what the software being used has to do with the quality of the work. But I agree the writing in the comic is pretty bad and the art is stiff and the panel layout is super stiff and there's a lack of camera angles and cinematic composition.
Although his comic needs more work, I'll give him props for being open to criticism and willing to improve 👏

I reconized his art from the tumbnail, this will be interesting I guess i remember him talking alot about his work and trying to compare against your work
I feel this was a setup for attention because now way in hell you watch this channel and think anything good was gonna be said about this product, i think whoever paid to have this reviewed wanted a roasting session of this story seeing how the creator himself didnt pay for it. An If i remember correctly, didnt sinko or whatever his name was, say he was surrounded by friends who make comics,manga etc? So if this were true why didnt his "peers" point out these things?
The names are HORRIBLE, he was trying to be clever and it fell flat. No kind of build up, character introductions, nothing. The pacing is bad, one minute were on hot planet talking about a throne and war next mintue were on a moon and the ice nation attacks. The dialogue is dry as hell, its like he wanted them to be cool and edgy but.....they came off as lame (my opinion). Idk but when i saw the video my first impression was "why"

i guess i kind of disagree with point #2, i think theres nothing wrong if a character wants to protect his/her loved ones.
However, the artist should have made us empathize with the MC instead of telling us "he wants to protect his planet". And also, the first three pages were supposed to be a hook for the story, he failed doing that...

Not gonna lie to you man this story has some problems for sure. But Koffee this is the first video I’ve seen of yours. And to be honest looking at your view on writing stories you’re not much better man. You have no idea about the soul of a story so chill a bit don’t forget to be humble my friend.
