I think the one where the invalians invade Gotham City shows Commissioner Gordon in the best light. All of the cops have been fighting those super villains for their whole professional careers and probably been scared of them since they joined the academy. But all they need is a simple command from the commissioner, and they're willing to instantly give up what they were thinking and follow through on the orders. They trust him that much to know what is right and wrong.
The joker canonical knows Bruce is batman, he just blocks it out, in most of the canon universes, which would technically be -52, all the way up to universe 52. Any other numbered universe is a what if in dc comics. This is all still apart of the continuity.
@@johnlucas2838 the reason Bruce visited the asylum is because the joker impossibly fell of a cliff landing in water with the only exit being over 5 - 10 miles long of water before entering into the batcave. He somehow swam there, with out a mask, or rebreather and security cams caught him coming out of the water laughing, leaving a card, and walking straight out of wayne water. He then told Gordon, as Bruce, that he needed to see the clown. He then shows the joker the card, saying you left something behind, to which he turned, seeing that the joker didn't block it out, but that his eyes had changed, he knew batman was Bruce wayne, the fun was lost. He ended up breaking out, which led to him doing the whole face removal, before doing the same to the batfamily, before he disappeared again. He found a knew way to have fun, be a lot darker. He stopped doing crimes, that would be considered comical to him, and started doing sick twisted, crap, cutting people's faces off, gunning down parents in the same manner that happened to Bruce, etc. He started to mentally torture Bruce, that was his New fun, which just so happened, that he needed to get darker to make batman want to kill him. This was apart of the main continuity.
I like how the episode with alien invaders shows that regardless if they're a hero, civilian or villain, they're human first and foremost, and will always fight alongside eachother under the correct circumstances.
@happiestaku6646 a similar thing happens in the Justice League cartoon. When the Justice League is facing the Justice Lords, they turn to Lex Luthor for assistance. He's clearly not reformed, but he probably knew that if he didn't help them, he'd be lobotomized by Justice Lord Superman. That would've almost certainly been worse than death.
Lex generally helps the heroes, when it benefits him. He doesn't do it out of an ulterior motive, but because it either is part of his plans, helps him agains another supervillain that he has doublecrossed or atleast in one instance because he wanted revenge. There are even instances where he is absolutely the good guy, like in Superman: Red Son, but even then it's not because he's actually good. In Superman: Red Son he basically refused to get bested by Superman and his communist regime, so he was the good guy out of stubbornness and spite. And in the end he even got the girl.
14:41 YOU DID IT! You actually included the fact that Joker helped in Telltale Series. This video is perfection of the video called 5 times Joker saved Batman.
Perfect? Batman needed a "motherboard", no where near percect if they say motherboard. They have never read a single comic in their life if they don't know what a Mother Box is.
_Batman: The Enemy Within_ is just about the only Telltale game in which your actions actually have story consequences. Both plot branches show aspects of the Joker that are novel and even heartbreaking.
With all of the villans coming to the worlds aid in The Villians of Gothem entry just makes me think of what Joker says to Red Skull, "I may be a criminal lunatic, but I'm an AMERICAN CRIMINAL LUNATIC"
2:21 - For those who don't know, Green Hour was a hero introduced during the hippy years of the 60s. His catchphrase was "Just give me one hour." which he started off saying to the police while trying to get to criminals and villains. His tactic was to get the bad guys high on weed and relaxed enough to talk them down, show them the error of their ways, and turn themselves in. As he was called to deal with bigger and bigger threats, he had to develop greater skills as a chemist to create drugs that would affect alien physiologies, bypass filters, and other hurdles to which he'd always say "give me one hour" to find a workaround. Inevitably, it didn't take long for the character creators (Peace Stone(r) and Rainbow Love) and the editors and execs to come into conflict. Fans liked the idea of having more human villains that could grow and change, but the higher-ups were concerned that this attitude could lead to a significant sea change in the industry that would force them to put more effort into villain characterization and remove the tried and true "villain does a bad thing, gets stopped, then comes back later, rinse and repeat" formula. Not to mention the ever-mounting backlash from Conservatives who hated ideas like criminals being capable of change, a hero who doesn't use force, recreational drugs being portrayed as anything other than life-ruining gateways to Satanism, the many "colored" friends Green Hour associated with that weren't murdered by police as often as they wanted, etc. Eventually, while still under contract, the editors decided to kill off the character in "Final Hour" wherein, during a confrontation with Scarecrow, Green Hour tried to use aerosolized LSD but was pushed back by Scarecrow's fear toxin which was propelled more strongly with chlorofluorocarbons. (Chlorofluorocarbons weren't confirmed to be depleting the ozone layer until the 70s but Rainbow Love never trusted them and wanted Green Hour's death to come across as an unwavering sacrifice of personal safety over morals). The two compounds mixed and Green Hour was ravaged by palpably intense visions of war, disease, environmental collapse, book burnings, and societal hate to the point where he commits suicide. Scarecrow ultimately decides against using the compound as his subjects "need to be alive." Peace Stone(r) and Rainbow Love would try to create their own stories after getting the rights to the character from DC but couldn't get their stories to break into the market as they were seen as "too preachy." The series was seen to have "jumped the shark" during a series of stories where a reality TV star becomes president and his party becomes more and more insane with each issue. Of course, all of this was only possible in the reality where the Comics Code Authority was never formed, but it's still nice to see RUclipsrs referencing that dimension.
Villains coming to Batmans aid give his Rouges gallery deeper meaning they are not just thugs they care just as much for Gotham as he does and when it matters the most they can put their differences aside to stop a greater evil
Yeah, most of them don't wanna destroy the world. They just wanna rule it in their own twisted way. You can't rule over a world that's been killed or subjugated by someone else. Gotham is THEIR world, and Batman (as much as they may hate him) is irreplaceable in stopping the biggest and baddest threats to their society.

Mr. Freeze tries to convince him otherwise, even telling him that he'll be able to observe things but not really touch anything again. My favorite moments where the Villains came to the rescue It's during the Batman TAS Ep Trial. When the villians got loose In Arkham and captured Batman and put him In trial for his crimes against them I do believe the Joker was stalling for the cops In order to get to Arkham to save Batman or for Batman finding a way to escape. Cause there's no way he'll let the other villains have their way with him. Another moment where the Joker save Batman Is during a Justice League Ep. Where the Injustice captured Batman although he may have ambush him he again stalled for time for the Justice League to get there.
Thanks for mentioning TAS Ep Trial. That's a great suggestion. Justice League Injustice Ep. is somewhat different. When their plan falied, Joker tried to kill Batman by himself. Everytime he tried to kill him but Luthor didn't allow.
@Top Flix He's probably doing a little bit of both. Trying to kill him and buy him time to save himself. Either way 1 thing I learn from the Joker no Batman no punchline.
Well, Batman's relationship with Catwoman is messed up too. Bruce Wayne is always trying to save Selina Kyle. It gets pretty weird when she likes Batman but hates Bruce Wayne.

I'm surprised you didn't have "The Man Who Killed Batman " episode from Batman Animated Series as Number 1. Where Joker Avenges Batman when he thinks Batman (voiced by Kevin Conroy) is dead, killed by Sid "The Squid" (a Nobody in eyes of Joker) and gives his famous Eulogy, which Mark Hamill perfectly does (This is after Joker does everything he can think of to prove Batman is still alive.)
14:10 How poetically twisted that scenario is. After all you do and endure, all of reality turns against you. But the one constant, an undying source of torment, ends up being your rock to pull your ass from the fire. Fucking hell
There's more then a few times where villains in general switch sides. when Darkside tried to invade earth, again, you had hero and villian standing side by side... with Lex sacrificing himself with the help of one of the new gods to end both himself and darkside.
I have to say when I see villain change side for a bit it makes me happy just seeing them showing respect to batman and showing just a little bit of there human side.
I think the funniest example of villain helping Batman is a manga that is centered around joker raising Bruce after he got changed into a baby and joker is trying to raise Bruce to be his enemy again but it's in general a rather wholesome manga

I'm sure several of Batman's enemies respect him. Bane, Ras al Ghoul & Riddler do. But several more would never admit it... like Killer Croc (at least to Batman's face anyways).
True
I think the one where the invalians invade Gotham City shows Commissioner Gordon in the best light. All of the cops have been fighting those super villains for their whole professional careers and probably been scared of them since they joined the academy. But all they need is a simple command from the commissioner, and they're willing to instantly give up what they were thinking and follow through on the orders. They trust him that much to know what is right and wrong.
Kinda expected to see Harley Quinn here since she was one of the MVPs during Joker War, constantly saving Batman whenever he got incapacitated
Joker doesn't need to know who batman really is he already knows it just he doesn't care about that the fun would end for him
Well he said if he wanted to find out he been could have but that wouldn't be fun
I remember when Bruce visited Arkham to talk to the Joker and Bruce revealed he is Batman, and Joker outright blocked it out.
Have you ever heard of this thing called punctuation
I always love the Yin-Yang relationship of Batsy and his rogues gallery.
I like how the episode with alien invaders shows that regardless if they're a hero, civilian or villain, they're human first and foremost, and will always fight alongside eachother under the correct circumstances.
True
Literally the plot of DCUO
"I once ratted out a counterfeiter to batman" i love how this is how he proves he knows batman
One of the villians you forgot to mention.
During Superman's Regime, it was actually Lex Luthor that helped Batman get all his inside information.
You are 100% Correct.
Except in that Universe, Lex was actually a good guy and not a villain as he was friends with Superman
Thank You for that lovely appreciative comment.
Perfect? Batman needed a "motherboard", no where near percect if they say motherboard. They have never read a single comic in their life if they don't know what a Mother Box is.
Appreciate your honest criticism
_Batman: The Enemy Within_ is just about the only Telltale game in which your actions actually have story consequences. Both plot branches show aspects of the Joker that are novel and even heartbreaking.
This is why Batman don’t kill his enemies. He knows at the end of the day, they’ve always got his back
Joker's face in the Lego movies is one of the funniest, most heartbreaking things.
True
it says a lot when the villains respect him
Definitely. Shows how you treat even a Villain. More humanely.
Ah yes, Batman and Joker... the weirdest love story of decades past.
Batman Joker and Harley is the DC equivalent of Naruto Sasuke and Sakura
And apparently, Deadpool and Wolverine is kinda, the successor
With all of the villans coming to the worlds aid in The Villians of Gothem entry just makes me think of what Joker says to Red Skull, "I may be a criminal lunatic, but I'm an AMERICAN CRIMINAL LUNATIC"
Red skull as in marvel?
@@isaacalzate8262 Yes, there was a DC Marvel Crossover comic that had the two meet.

9:03 I love how Joker sounds like a jealous ex when Batman is getting killed right in front of him.
Scarecrow ultimately decides against using the compound as his subjects "need to be alive."
Peace Stone(r) and Rainbow Love would try to create their own stories after getting the rights to the character from DC but couldn't get their stories to break into the market as they were seen as "too preachy." The series was seen to have "jumped the shark" during a series of stories where a reality TV star becomes president and his party becomes more and more insane with each issue. Of course, all of this was only possible in the reality where the Comics Code Authority was never formed, but it's still nice to see RUclipsrs referencing that dimension.
". . . reality TV star become president and his party becomes more and more insane with each issue."
Some things don't change, eh?
Your wording on Green Hour is hilarious. Kudos Bro ! Voice over does sound like that, to be honest.
Sure they respect him, fear him and want to be the one(s) to defeat him. But most of all, hes LIKE them, a freak, theyre on opposite sides but opperate on the same field, special/wierd/super poeple and theyll be damned if some run of the mill cops are gonna get the best of him.

Seeing Lex Luthor as a real hero is a nice thing.

You know while watching this video I was really emotional 😢I allmost cried as I’m a huge Batman fan so I can relate to him in some ways aha
Yes, some Scenes were really emotional like in Lego Batman
I low key hate that Mr.Freeze still a villain. He’s not a bad guy he just wanted to save his wife.
He’s freeze people to death ☠️ for his wife take her to star labs or lex Corp
Imagine if Bruce found out sooner let’s say before freeze became freeze he allows freeze to continue the study under one promise make sure it works and helps others which it’ll do because it’s never stated what the disease was matpat said cancer I think body thought something helpful was bad so if that works boom he either made a cure for cancer or a cure that’ll be rare yes but can still help millions of people in the long run
Not to mention that Mr. Freeze legit has a conscience. In the cartoon Batman: The Animated Series, he's approached by a rich old guy who wants to become like Mr. Freeze so he can live longer, if not forever. Mr. Freeze tries to convince him otherwise, even telling him that he'll be able to observe things but not really touch anything again. He still goes through with it, granted, but he later helps Batman defeat the old guy.
I love the respect they all have for each other.
...and then enters The Batman Who Laughs.
I actually love that team up 😂
When I watching the Animated Series I found it hilarious that Joker was upset and heartbroken when he thought Batman died
What about when Batman defended the Gotham villans from The Punisher. Punisher called him crazy for defending these lunatics yet Batman is protecting them.

Another moment where the Joker save
Batman Is during a Justice League Ep.
Batsy and Joker are such a...mess of a relationship but we all love it😭
Well, Batman's relationship with Catwoman is messed up too.

Thanks for suggesting that dearly.

There's more then a few times where villains in general switch sides. when Darkside tried to invade earth, again, you had hero and villian standing side by side... with Lex sacrificing himself with the help of one of the new gods to end both himself and darkside.
The Mr Freeze and Gordon nod is just “it’s either we fight light friends or die like foes” a mutual understanding
