ALRIGHT I GET IT thank you everyone for the feedback 😭 I genuinely do appreciate hearing all your thoughts and different choices for who would fit this universe! A lot of great suggestions like Professor Pyg, Hugo Strange, Scarecrow, Matt Hatter and ofc the Court of Owls! With the recent news confirming that this universe will always stay grounded, I'm gonna be making a follow up video with more realistic choices and diving into how some of these characters can fit into the universe!
Scarecrow would fit perfectly in this universe, as long as they use him correctly (unlike Nolan). Because this universe is already so dark and fear is such an emphasis on the first movie, a scarecrow sequel could end up being a psychological horror movie
Oh! Scarecrow would be Perfect as Pattinson's Batman folly. He could even be a vigilantee anti-hero using batman figure (who is now presenting himself as a symbol of hope) to return to the vengeance beggining. Challenging his approach of vigilantism.
On the joker, I saw something a while back where the joker could have a Hannibal lecter like role, where Batman goes to the joker for help in catching whoever the main villain is. And the movie ends with him getting out of prison and sets him up as the villain of part 3
@@WholeShebangYTbro why u dissing the joker he is litteraly Batman’s main villain why wouldn’t he be a main villain in one of the movies at some point. Bro his laughing gas would be crazy to see love action especially in this dark reeves universe
@@DrewBoivie I think Death Stroke would be Better for a 3rd movie when batman is more of a Threat to Gotham's elite to the point that they finally want to take him out and hence they bring in Deathstroke
My top choice is Mr Freeze, he needs to be redeemed. The Court of Owls should be in the third one. But no matter what, Joker should be kept as a side villain.
Top choice for me: Mr. Freeze. 1. Great and reliable motivations 2. Complex morality 3. Presents an opportunity for interesting creative fight scenes 4. Would be an awesome redemption the audience would want to see 5. Fits perfectly with the themes of corruption and greed established in the first movie (as he is betrayed by a businessman, a perfect opportunity for either complex political and social subtex or cheap political jabs at a system the writer doesn't begin to understand, depends on who would write it) 6. Immensely cool design
Freeze's origin could also tie in to the first film's events to. Like maybe his wife got sick because she swallowed some contaminated water from the flooding caused by Riddler's bombs.
I think with the city flooded we should get killer croc and it should be filmed more as a horror movie than a Batman movie. It starts off with Bruce helping people around the city and hearing rumors of a big monster living in the sewers and taking kids. So Batman starts an investigation and maybe sees some signs of gets into an altercation and gets his ass kicked leading for a bigger fight later.
@glopple it doesn't really, and I rock with that idea I just didn't know what he would be taking children for, in terms of like what croc would gain from that
@@loganf.07 well in one of the comics he was bullied as a kid for his skin condition so his revenge could just be eating kids or could eat his bullies that are adults now
Meh. He’d be cool, no doubt but they already did the serial killer thing in the first film. Kinda makes me wish they didn’t waste that trope on the Riddler of all people.
@@lorddata2472 I’m saying that if Reeves wanted to do a serial killer story for the first movie, Pyg or Zsasz or somebody else would’ve maybe fit that story a bit better. But I’m not complaining, I loved every second of the Batman.
Penguin blackmailing Freeze for a possible cure for Nora can be a cliche but easy setup to introduce him to the viewer and Batman in the sequel. I would also nominate Deathstroke, Slade Wilson as a foil to our Batman. Keep him on his toes.
I could see deathstroke setting traps to lure batman, which makes him second guess when coming to crime reports. Whats real and whats a trap with innocence and money involved
Lowkey bring in Black mask as an outsider of Gotham who wants to help rebuild the city but he silently takes over the underworld…then have Batman work with penguin to regain it for the greater good of Gotham….later realizes the court of owls sent black mask as a test and Bruce goes after them in the 3rd movie
That concept would also push Bruce Wayne to grow as a character not just Batman. You can’t just win with his fist he needs to use his influence as Bruce to protect Gotham from what black mask is doing
@@ewack7610there’s an Easter egg in season two during the start where the scenes about end and the bookcase behind him. There’s a book behind him. See if you can find it 😉 Scarecrow could be the therapist at Arkham
@@wasquash I don't think he was done well enough in Batman Begins. The story with him was a rush job. He needs to be the MAIN antagonist. Dig deep. Scarecrow is my vote.
Would the Mad Hatter work? Fans have been clamoring for either Martin Short or Steve Buscemi as Jervis Tetch ever since the '90s. Sadly, though, I don't think the Lewis Carroll theme would work anymore.
My top 3 villains I want is 1 Scarecrow, Nolan’s scarecrow was ruined because they made him more like a gangster I think they should stay true to his form and give him the Justice he deserves Arkam Knight’s scarecrow was the best one. 2nd Clayface I think they should go with the serial killer version of him where he goes crazy after finding out he has been replaced in one of the movies he was supposed to stare in. 3 Hugo Strange it would be so cool to see him in this franchise considering how messed up Strange is, he fits perfectly with this tone of the franchise. Hush is cool tho lol I kinda feel like they should have one of those villains work with Strange in the movie it would be so sick and the third movie should have mad hatter in it
@@SeasideDetective2 mad hatter is a disgusting villain the things he does are horrifying in the comics the movie would need a R rating which WB wouldn’t go for it since PG13 will make more money
12:26 the problem with this concept for Bruce’s arc is that we basically just did that. He’s already figured out that he needs to be more than a vigilante, now it’s time for him to discover what that means. A villain who complicated that goal would make more sense than one who helps him realize that vengeance isn’t the way… again.
@@alexmonteiro2229 plus we already had disturbing elements from the riddler. Why not double down with Pyg and make the movie rated R! I’d love that idea
@@johnnybeatmaker330 As much as I like Cillian Murphy, I agree that we need a better movie Scarecrow. One that looks like he would be lurking around an abandoned barn, not just some businessman with a basic mask
I personally want clayface, they don’t have to make him a giant clay guy, they could just make him physically deformed with some kind of skin condition with self image issues
@@ymirs4400 that’s trash bc that would just be The Batman version of joker, literally that’s this version of joker he NEEDS to have some type of disguise experience.
I love that the first movie’s ending gives the opportunity to bring any Batman’s villain and the integration of any of them feeling natural because of the context, literally anyone could fit in the story.
Another one I'd really love to see are the Court of Owls. Could really be an awesome addition to this universe with a cult orchestrating everything happening in Gotham for hundreds of years and Batman getting too close to discovering them, hence, send in the Talons!
YES Court of Owls need to be adapted, I’d save them for the third movie Pattinson does bc it’ll mean more when the world has been explored and now there’s the reveal that everything has been a lie
@@daminuss I must ask, how does that matter? We’ve seen it in games, multiple animated movies, everywhere throughout comics. They’re cool but ffs they’re so new, plenty of Batman villains who still haven’t had a good appearance on the big screen. Scarecrow, (that Business suit bullshit from Begins does *_NOT_* count) Killer Croc (suicide squad KC sucked), Clayface, Mr Freeze, Hush, Man Bat, Mad Hatter, etc. Matt Reeves did a phenomenal job with The Riddler, seeing him dump that kind of creativity into something like the COO would just be sad. There’s better stories to tell, and cooler more interesting villains to adapt.
@@phoster3322 If we talk about comics, almost every villain have some appearances. I agree, they're some villains who'd fit better, but I have actually never seen a piece of media with the court of owls. (also, most of the villains you mentioned had pretty cool appearances in the arkham games)
I would like to see Mad Hatter as the main villian and as you said about Penguin becoming the top dog, a perfect rival to him would be Black Mask. So Batman has to juggle Roman and Oswalds rivalry while dealing with Jervis and maybe Twiddledee and Twiddledum as Mad Hatters minions or something. Hell, throw in Victor Zsasz to be a pain in the ass the entire time. Also if they decide to bring back Riddler, I think a perfect partner for him would be Anarky.
My top 5: Scarecrow - already set up in the penguin. Theo Rossi is an amazing actor and needs to get revenge for his beloved Sophia. Harley Quinn - can be reintroduced inside Arkham with Sophia. Ivy - Her love for the earth could play well into how much Gotham has been destroyed. Freeze - Just obvious. Ra's al Ghul - We need to see where this Batman learned to fight. Taking on 10 gang members in a subway is insane - how the hell did he learn to do that?
There's a lot of villains I'd love to see. I think Reeve's Batman would stay away from the hugely fantastical. I think Hugo Strange would work. I also think a version of Poison Ivy would really work well and be interesting.
You don’t have to keep every part of her character exactly like the comics. You could do a version of Poison Ivy who is a hardcore climate activist who is willing to kill all of humanity in order to save the environment. You could have her obsessed with plants, and since she’s such a smart herbologist she can make a lot of poison.
@@kennethbryant5819 realism ruins superhero movies. good thing marvel knows this. imagine saying "yea lets stay away from fantastical, a big green hulk, no. a infinity gauntlet, no. doctor strange, no. plz stop. its gotten so bad that batman cant even glide properly in the batman movie. pathetic.
@@Ozz131 realism doesnt ruin superhero movies at all. The Dark Knight trilogy was grounded yet it was one of the greatest hits of all time. The Batman was also praised for its realistic atmosphere. Also you can clearly see that its the first time that batman is using his glider in the movie. He lacks experience as its only his second year as batman. Recent marvel movies are also trash even if they are fantastical
Once the Penguin series concludes we'll see what's what. Until then all bets are off but I echo the sentiment that the Joker needs to be put on hiatus for a few years.
@@theflev-matic4892 Clayface would be awesome. Something fantastical and comic like. This Batman gets the image of being grounded but that's only cause the villain and story of the first film allowed it to be. Dosent mean it cant get fantastical. You can't really do a fantastical riddler/Falcone movie, because their characters arent unrealistic, so naturally the first film was always going to be grounded
If the rumors that Reeves will introduce a 13 year old Dick Grayson in the film are truth, then I think the main villain should be The Mad Hatter. Rather than a creepy inventor who uses devices to brainwash people, Jarvis could be introduce as man who went insane after losing his wife, Alice Tech, during the climax of the previous film. Creating his Mad Hatter persona, he could become Gotham's "Jack the Ripper", kidnapping women in the street and using special drugs to force them to act like his late wife. Everytime his victim start to resists his controls (or Jarvis notice something that is different from his Alice, like the color of the eyes), he freaks outs and kills her in brutal ways, screaming "You're not my Alice". This would work as contrast to Batman's arc with Dick Grayson, with the Dark Knight adopting the kid and growing from a loner vigilante to become and mentor figure and accept the help of his allies. He may have lost his parents, but through the allies he made, he was able to create a new family, while the Mad Hatter is obsess in recreating his past (his Alice), unable to accept her death and move on and develop new relationships (he's basically a dark reflection of what Batman could become if he let the fear of losing his people like he lost his parents control him).
@@litcomicsproductions5359 In the case of Victor Freeze, I think Reeves should jsut do what Gotham TV show did, with Nora still being alive, despite being sick, with Freeze freezing people and using them in experiment to try to cure his wife. As for Two Face, he could be introduce in the 2nd film as D.A trying to make Gotham better after the incident with the Riddler and the rise of a new gang lead by Black Mask. Dent and Batman could team up to try to capture the new crime boss, but stress of work, combine with the public pressure on him, could affect Harvey mentally, causing him to slowly reveal a dark personally, that is more agressive and willing to make morally questionable decisions. Eventually, Black Mask the could end up capturing Harvey and torturing him, causing his face to be desfigured. This event could driven Harvey insane and cause him to become Two Face. Later, Batman could find out that Black Mask was actually Roman Sionis, a corrupt candidate for Mayor, who knew about Harvey split personality and wanted to expose him in order to make people lose faith with the current system and he could win the election.
I actually want scarecrow and mad hatter As a duo But for mad hatter I would make him as a MK ultra /heavens gate cult leader type with him having his own Cryptic show and there are people going missing around Gotham and they all appear on his show and he talks about wonderland coming. wonderland being scarecrows plan to destroy Gotham
You're version of Mad Hatter is so interesting, I've always seen him as a Schizophrenic Creep who was insanely obsessed with Alice in wonderland and develops Mind Control chips to control the Women he thinks are Alice and wants to live in an Alice in wonderland fantasy and doesn't accept reality
In my opinion Wrath should be the main villain in The Batman 2. He can challenge Batman’s physicality and wits. It would also provide more depth to Commissioner Gordon. In the comics Wrath was the opposite of Batman having parents who were both robbers and who were both killed by Commissioner Gordon when he was a younger because he gunned them down when they were escaping their home and mistook them for robbers. Wrath then became a gun for hire whose skills rival Batman’s. Exploring his story would make for a great movie and would work in the universe Matt Reeves has created.
I think Clayface + Mr Freeze would be dope. Matt already showed he’s not afraid to have multiple villains in the first one, so why not go further and add more? I think they should save Hush for the third after he’s already established his Bruce persona
I genuinely believe Mr. Freeze would work. And he deserves another chance on the big screen. Gotham is flooded and underwater. Set it during winter and let him freeze over the city. That'd be fun to do.
Hush I think would make the most sense tbh, however the whole thing behind Hush is that it’s a mystery, I don’t think it’s a thing that can be done with live action without heavy diversion from the source material (which wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing). But controversially I’d LOVE to see Professor Pyg. A sadistic murderer with an army of unfeeling, surgically altered dollotrons that outsmarts Batman at every turn because he’s forced to try and identify the victims and their histories. The victims could even be linked to the Wayne’s somehow to keep the underlying theme of the Wayne family playing a distinct role. I think with the right actor, the horror-vibe of the first movie could be turned up to 11 with Pyg as the main villain. Highly unlikely, but I would love to see it
Pyg fits this universe SO well so I really hope we get him one day. I wouldn’t mind a Hush diversion at all tbh especially bc of how obvious that twist is
Mr freeze, Gotham was flooded during October, it would move into winter with the water being frozen, hearth shaped box as the main song, the poster having a blue background. Complete cinema
Some villains that would be cool in live action imo would be Mad Hatter Clayface Mr. Freeze Scarecrow Hugo Strange Poison Ivy Court of owls Ventriloquist
Following the darker characters: Mad Hatter. He could introduce less realistic villains and still act similar to the Riddler as a villain, being distant and dark.
In terms of a more realistic take like how they approached the riddler, I’d say Poison Ivy. A bitter ex scientist poising people around Gotham fits well with its tone. Idk how they’d do someone like Bane or anyone too super human
Hush is a great choice! His only live-action adaption was in the Batwoman series so there's a lot of room to play with. Bane was hinted at with the Venom but I hope he becomes an ally/frenemy. That was a great pitch for Freeze, that could work. Depending on the level of power Clayface has, he might be better suited for a third installment. My money's on Birthday Boy, a freakishly large and strong mob enforcer who works for Penguin and is paid in young girls.
Everyone who says they don't want a realistic take on these characters needs to wait for the dcu, cause Matt Reeves has said on multiple occasions that he wants this world to be completely grounded, even stating that Mr. Freeze is compelling to him for this reason, as he wants to see how it could be grounded. That's the point of this version. This is not the definitive live action one we're getting and the James Gunn take will likely be more comic book-esc and supernatural. Let Matt Reeves tell the story he wants to tell.
I personally feel like it’s going to be hush, it would be an interesting villain and would work well in this live action Batman I feel. It would also be very dark.
11:32 I’ve actually always thought that the silver age Clayface would be perfect for Reece’s universe! He uses prothetics like the real movie uses on Colin Ferrel, and he uses clay on his victim’s faces to make molds of them! The police find a string of bodies, all with clay on their faces, Clayface killer, boom. And we still get to have him “shapeshift” into anyone he wants, but they have to be victims first
I really want Two-Face, seeing Matt's take on the character would be amazing! Maybe have Professor Pyg, Black Mask or Firefly as a secondary antagonist.
i really really want ivy to be the villain in a movie down the line. she is one of my favorite villains and she's long due for a proper live action adaptation not just reducing to her seduction powers
Ivy could easily carry a movie as the solo villain so I hope we get her, if Reeves doesn’t wanna go supernatural she would be perfect for Brave and the Bold
I want to see a duo of villains, those being Anarky and Firefly. Both are super underrated but would work really well with the No Mans Land/ destroyed Gotham that was set up in the first movie. I think they would work really well together with firefly being the physical challenge while Anarky is the mastermind/big boss. Both have a great contrast to Batman as he embodies Law and Order, while Anarky is the exact opposite. Firefly is a great mirror to Bruces obsession and how this obsession could end up destroying him.
Another live action villain that needs redemption imo is Poison Ivy. If not the main villain, having her as an antihero like catwoman with will they won’t they tension with batman would add a lot to a sequel.
I think what they do for now is that they should only have the joker in Arkham at least for now, and when people think it’s time for him to shine, he can escape or something
I actually really wanna see this joker as the main villain of the movie. I understand why people don’t, but the joker is such an interesting character, and the most recent joker we saw in a movie with Batman was Jared Leto (we all know how that went). Based off of the deleted scene, Barry koegan actually looks really good and has a lot of potential. He feels like the joker. But, if they do this, The Batman part III (if they make it) NEEDS to be scarecrow. He would be perfect for this universe, plus, we haven’t had a scarecrow in any live action dc movies besides the dark knight, where he shows up for the first 3 minutes of the movie and is just a guy with a scarecrow mask on.
I really want to see court of owls. I want to see bruce have to battle in every aspect. Between fighting the court during the day as bruce using detective work figuring out who they are. And fighting physically against talon, having to step up his game to keep up.
I was certainly more interested in the Mr. Freeze pitch, but I could see how Clayface could also work. I love your joke about “save us from that dang clown” at the end!
I think we might have to wait until the DCU movies for Clayface. I love him to death, but clay-based Clayface is a bit too fanatsical for what it seems Reeves is going for. But it will be fun to see Justice Leage Batman/DCU Batman try to solve a clayface mystery. And it would have been the ultimate challenge for the detective Batman Reeves has made
It’s completely unrealistic that we’ll see it and I’m confident the DCU will embrace the fantastical but god it would be cool to see Pattinson on that case
11:25 This has just brought back memories of the original Batman video game. I had it on the PSP, and used to play it religiously, a lot more than any of my Ben10 or racing games. In terms of storyline, Clayface was one of the very first villains shown other than Riddler and Ivy, and I liked his character a lot. As for free mode, I would play as him a lot too. Something about his uniqueness intrigued me. I know shapeshifting is a common power, but his origin was really cool to little me when I googled him after playing the game for the first couple of times. I was so disappointed to find out that LEGO has never made an official Clayface minifig, as I was also being introduced to the world of DC and Marvel LEGO sets and beginning my character collection that is still ongoing (love for LEGO never dies, my parents loved the sets as much as me). I would love to see Clayface in a live-action adaptation done justice and a VERY overdue LEGO product. (EDIT) Upon googling LEGO again for Clayface, my vision for that has always been the game model for him, and although I actually really enjoyed the LEGO Batman movie, I would say that is an already established stage in his timeline. Call me greedy, but I think any set(s) of Clayface should showcase his slow transformation into mudmonster form and how the more he uses the cream, the worse it gets. Going from regular actor, to accident, to beginning of his abilities, to regular sized monster (game model) to big monster (LEGO Batman movie, although possibly a different model type) I'm very passionate about this character, I have been waiting for more Clayface content since I was below ten years old lmao.
Only watched a bit so far but hush is a great shout. Would also love to see serial killers like mad hatter and calendar man make an appearance as I think they deserve live action appearances
I like the Court of Owls manipulating Hush or Freeze in the second movie. Then as the main villain in the third with Batman fighting the Talons and realizing the vast power of The Court of Owls.
"The Batman" movies want to be grounded and realistic, so we won't be getting any meta humans, which is unfortunate because I want to see Clayface, Killer Croc, and Man Bat in a multi million dollar Batman movie.
Literally all of those could be grounded. Clayface a former makeup director who could change his face at will with a few strokes. Croc just tear off some of the crocodilan aspects of him and basically make him a circus freak from BTAS. Manbat might be a bit harder but could be done with making him more of an ecoterrorist who uses bats in crimes. Maybe similar to Ivy
It's like a lot of RUclips. Quick voice over narrative, however I am really digging this "wish" of a new Batman villain. I'll admit I'm 54 and struggle at times with the fast narrative but, this one gives me hope for myself as it's very well done. Hear, hear! This is a super 15 minute video. Thank you and I'm a follower of your videos now.
I think mr. freeze would be an excellent pick. Heres why: 1. They've already established Bruce has had nothing to do with running wayne enterprises. Itd be very easy and believable to have Freeze work for Wayne Tech and have him researching cryogenics. While simultaneously trying to save his wife. 2. The city is flooded "because of bruce wayne". They make Freeze's lab somewhere in a part of the city that got flooded. The lab loses power and Freeze has to move his wife somewhere else and quickly start getting supplies to keep her frozen. This would be the catalyst to him turning to crime to save his wife. 3. Freeze pleads with his superiors at wayne enterprises to fund his project further so he can save his wife but the suits dont find it worth the money so they shut his program down. 4. Bruce realizes that THIS is the cost of ONLY being batman and neglecting his responsibility as the head of wayne enterprises. Side note: city flooded means freeze could cause a ton of chaos with the freeze gun
the court of owls is a concept that parallels with the Pattinson's batman and his family, and now that the city is flooded, the control of the city can be disputed by the court
Really well done video man! Fantastic points for each villain. Personally, I'd want either Mr. Freeze or Scarecrow. Your points for Freeze would be perfect, and for Scarecrow, Crane could be like he was in the comics; a psychiatrist who specializes in fear-inducing gases who is trying to get back at the people who pushed him away from his normal life by making them live their greatest fears. This could also force Bruce to confront his own inner demons and really explore the mental side of Batman.
Scarecrow still feels so underutilized and would be a great choice for this universe, especially when Bruce is still so young and scared so I absolutely respect that choice
Id love the idea that after the flood criem rises and zasz is a villan that could work that sticks with the noir theme where batman has to find a serial killer
The villains has been confirmed to be Clayface, Hush and Professor Pyg with the director saying he wants to make an adaptation with Scarecrow. He also said that he wants to make it realistic. I Hope that we get to see Deathstroke, Bane, Red hood(after we have seen Robin and the joker), The Court of the owls and ofc Scarecrow and the joker. I would also love to see Mr.Freeze and Killer croc but I just dont know how he would work it out
4:50 I don’t like this idea respectfully, it’s trying to adapt the character into Chris Nolan’s Bruce Wayne. Matt Reeves’ version of the Batman universe is more grounded, realistic, refreshing, and unique and should stay thus
I would say Black Mask, Hush, Professor Pyg, the Mad Hatter, Firefly, Killer Croc, Scarecrow or Ventriloquist/Scarface are the most likely think in this more realistic universe.
If they do end up doing Mr freeze, my personal cast would be Michael fassbender. If you don’t know who he is, watch x men apocalypse. He can perfectly play the anger and sadness needed for the character.
I like the detective mystery of the first movie, so I think a good way to do it is have the joker serve almost as a hannibal lector "psychotic expert" to help batman track down a worse killer. It'd be more intimate and , with less theatric motivation. The beaurocracy of the city could also be impeding batman, with lawyers like harvey dent potentially being set up as bought and sold by the penguin. The killer could also be someone less obvious like clayface, maybe not as a big goop monster but as a disfigured maniac
I do not think that using the joker a lot is the problem. The problem is that there are so many batman villains that have great potential to be portrayed in a live action movie. Using the joker will be fine in the next batman film just as long as there is another iconic villain in the movie with him and has more screen time than the joker. Some of the many villains that I would love to see on the big screen include Mad Hatter, Hugo Strange, Clayface, Hush, Poison Ivy, Professor Pyg, and Mr. Freeze.
Three necessary things I’ve been wanting in live action: clayface, mister freeze. and one that would be SO COOL, hear me out… Killer croc! He would look so cool in love action!
I vote clayface. I think the morphing body would be sweet for how detective driven the first movie was. Plus it’s a good start into super powered villains.
It's NOT going to be The Joker, according to Mat Reeves; he said that he just showed him in The Batman to show that he and Batman have already met and are established. But I can see Joker being the main villain in Batman III. There are 3 rumored villains for The Batman Part II; Hush, Clayface and Mr. Freeze.
I want hush as the main villain and clayface as a secondary villain with them working together. Clayface can be the one who helps hush make his face look like Bruce Wayne. Thomas Elliot can reveal that his family had connections to the court of owls, setting them up for the third movie

3 Hugo Strange it would be so cool to see him in this franchise considering how messed up Strange is, he fits perfectly with this tone of the franchise.

I would like to see Mad Hatter as the main villian and as you said about Penguin becoming the top dog, a perfect rival to him would be Black Mask. Hell, throw in Victor Zsasz to be a pain in the ass the entire time. Also if they decide to bring back Riddler, I think a perfect partner for him would be Anarky.
My top 5:
Scarecrow - already set up in the penguin.

Stay away from the fantastical. Then suggest the chick who controls plants and is even part plant in most of her appearances. Good call.

How about the latest penguin show? It’s even more grounded than the film. I don’t think supernatural abilities work really well for this universe.
@@srinidhiacharla1766The Penguin is about the gangs and their chase for power because of Carmine's death, why would it not be grounded?

I genuinely believe Mr. Freeze would work. And he deserves another chance on the big screen. Gotham is flooded and underwater. Set it during winter and let him freeze over the city. That'd be fun to do.
Dude. The way you described the 'Hush' villain/ storyline - I really hope it's that one for the sequel.
If Dr. Rush turns out to be how I think he will, then I would love to see the scarecrow. It's a way to see how grounded the character could be also.

Really love that idea and the thematic significance they have!

Based off of the deleted scene, Barry koegan actually looks really good and has a lot of potential. He feels like the joker. But, if they do this, The Batman part III (if they make it) NEEDS to be scarecrow.
Going from regular actor, to accident, to beginning of his abilities, to regular sized monster (game model) to big monster (LEGO Batman movie, although possibly a different model type)
I'm very passionate about this character, I have been waiting for more Clayface content since I was below ten years old lmao.

I think mr. freeze would be an excellent pick. Heres why:
Side note: city flooded means freeze could cause a ton of chaos with the freeze gun
a Dark and Gritty version of Kite Man would be amazing lol.
I want the Mad Hatter. Take away the silly demeanor and he is a truly terrifying villain.
the court of owls is a concept that parallels with the Pattinson's batman and his family, and now that the city is flooded, the control of the city can be disputed by the court
The most important part of clayface is how ron pearlman does the voice.

Ventriloquist is a fantastic shout
The villains has been confirmed to be Clayface, Hush and Professor Pyg with the director saying he wants to make an adaptation with Scarecrow. He also said that he wants to make it realistic. I Hope that we get to see Deathstroke, Bane, Red hood(after we have seen Robin and the joker), The Court of the owls and ofc Scarecrow and the joker. I would also love to see Mr.Freeze and Killer croc but I just dont know how he would work it out
Clayface is the best batman villian tbh

Movie 6: Joker
4:50 I don’t like this idea respectfully, it’s trying to adapt the character into Chris Nolan’s Bruce Wayne. Matt Reeves’ version of the Batman universe is more grounded, realistic, refreshing, and unique and should stay thus
I would say Black Mask, Hush, Professor Pyg, the Mad Hatter, Firefly, Killer Croc, Scarecrow or Ventriloquist/Scarface are the most likely think in this more realistic universe.
Hush and the whole identity theft would be amazing
If they do end up doing Mr freeze, my personal cast would be Michael fassbender. If you don’t know who he is, watch x men apocalypse. He can perfectly play the anger and sadness needed for the character.
Fantastic video
This feels like I'm watching classic RUclips props
No. Not the Joker. Or Harley. Stay away please.
I'd like Lady Shiva, King Snake and / or Killer Croc please.
Hush eventually
Freeze.
Three necessary things I’ve been wanting in live action: clayface, mister freeze. and one that would be SO COOL, hear me out…
Killer croc! He would look so cool in love action!
I vote clayface. I think the morphing body would be sweet for how detective driven the first movie was. Plus it’s a good start into super powered villains.
Reeves has stated he wants his movies to be very grounded
I think a very overlooked villain is the Spellbinder, I loved his Batman Beyond form, and I think it fits with the atmosphere of the movies.
I want Black Mask personally
It's NOT going to be The Joker, according to Mat Reeves; he said that he just showed him in The Batman to show that he and Batman have already met and are established. But I can see Joker being the main villain in Batman III.
There are 3 rumored villains for The Batman Part II; Hush, Clayface and Mr. Freeze.
I want hush as the main villain and clayface as a secondary villain with them working together. Clayface can be the one who helps hush make his face look like Bruce Wayne. Thomas Elliot can reveal that his family had connections to the court of owls, setting them up for the third movie
