If you're here after seeing my video from last year, feel free to skip ahead to the new chapters! That'll be: Flash, Joker, and the Batman! The rest of the video only has minor tweaks, like changes to background music. Next update will likely be late 2025 where I can add Joker 2 and the Batman 2. Depending on how James Gunn's DC Universe reboot goes, maybe I'll also tackle a total DC recap/timeline at some point! Enjoy!
You missed: The Batman (1941) and Batman and Robin (1942), the original theatrical serials with Lewis Wilson, as the very first Batman ever on screen. And of course, the iconic “Batman: The Movie.” (1966) with Adam West and Burt Ward. But still a nice overview
I’m laid up in a hospital bed tonight and I’m so grateful for this showing up on my Channel. Id be stuck watching media news or some awful rendition of Meditation Music that makes sense to be sicker than he$! to. You have My Heart Batman Movie Recap Guy..wherever You are.. and for the record: I agree with the wording of this particular Video regardless of the 1966 or 1989 debacle. All I’m saying.. Batman 1989 and Batman Returns were so well written. Christopher Walken as Schreck is an underrated villain as well and ...that Ice Princess looks so good
best bat man is robert, and no one want to admit it but me, he just fits perfectly from his chin to his shoulder and eyes and messy hair, i like this better then any batman like i like henry cavil's superman compare to every other superman
Every reason you said was solely superficial so I’m sure you came to that conclusion based on your attraction rather than performance or dare I say talent🥱
@@__KXNG__ his movie was boring and I gave him a chance. It’s not for me and if it was strictly appearance based what does it matter looking like the hero is pretty important. If a 5’2 fat black guy was casted as Batman it would suck too no matter how good he acted and personally I don’t think Robert is a good actor he is just like the Rock he plays one character. But I understand if you like em I’m cool with that no need to be condescending lol
@@jaylenbutler4176 …I wasn’t even talking to you😂 I was replying to the op, I more-less agreed with your initial comment. I actually don’t even know what your talking about tbh
Bruce's nightmare was a dystopian future where Superman turned evil after being corrupted by Darkseid's Anti-Life Equation after Lois Lane was killed and Batman couldn't prevent it!!!!!
Future Flash traveled back in time a little too soon before Bruce knew who he was!!!! Barry warned Bruce that Lois Lane is the key since that Future Flash was from the Knightmare future!!!!
Mind you he’s been a hero for more than 80 years now but I agree with you they should’ve kept one actor (I would keep Christian Bale) but we can’t change that now
Great job, sir. Thank you for this. Imo there is a steep drop off in quality from the first seven to the last two. Batman v Superman seems especially bad. It was emotional watching the ending of the dark knight trilogy. It was cringy during much of the justice league ones.
Minor editorial note. "Feigns drunk" isn't correct. It would either be "feigns intoxication" or "feigns being drunk." You can either feign a noun or verb, not an adjective.

We give the Shumackerverse so much 💩 but ngl, he did succeed in creating very childish silly comic book movies aimed for younger audiences 🤷🏻♂️ absolutely bonkers, extremely unrealistic comic book vibes brought to life. Even if they were made to sell toys, I guess they were a success in that aspect. Do I still think they’re trash? Yup. Do I still rewatch them with guilty pleasure goggles? Absolutely 😂
@OneTakeVids damn I was trolling but thank you very much man, the 66 movie holds a special place in my heart for some very personal reasons and I'm looking forwards to the update!
The batman anthology became silly and dry after Batman and Robin. From there on, they just puffed it up with cardboard characters and the usual cliches of a convoluted, corrupted mob-driven society hell bent on self-termination and the use of every vice under the sun. It became a dark tragicomedy soap opera tailored for those with underlying psychological issues and a penchant for mental cruxification. You'd have to be a mindless automaton to continue watching anything in this anthology after the 4th installment. This overview will save you a lot of time so that you don't waste time watching most of what turns out to be syrupy fluff.
If there was only one comic on Batman and he was only presented in that exact same way since his original inception, you might have a point. But the fact that many different writers and illustrators have presented hundreds of not thousands of separate versions. The fact that his canon has been changed several times in the almost 90 years the character has been around, dictates there needs to be more than one representation in other media as well.
Plus your view of the modern take on Batman in the movies is more representative to the comic character. Batman is first and foremost the world's greatest detective. Everything else is just padding.

When I update for Joker 2 and The Batman 2, I’ll add those as well to truly complete the collection
Excellent work.
Thank you.❤
Thank you! 🙏
you are a mad man for creating this but I never appreciated madness more. thank you
I always forget how the pre 2000s Batman movies are wacky as hell I always expect it but it always surprises me

Sorry to hear you're in a hospital bed, glad me summarizing Batman movies can at least provide some entertainment 🙏
I still really don’t think there’s a better one than the ‘89 original.
I think that too... But it's also really nostalgic for my era... The feeling we got as kids when it came out made it feel so realistic...
Batman 1989 and Batman Returns were so well written. Christopher Walken as Schreck is an underrated villain as well and ...that Ice Princess looks so good
I don't know who you are my man but this is awesome

The nolan trilogy is just amazing
Batman and Robin is clearly the best Batman movie of all time.
He'll nah

I watched the earlier one yesterday and I’m probably gonna watch this one today 😆
Batman movies are great
Shrek cannot be UNHEARD throughout this video.
Its sad that adam west didnt get a single cameo appearance. Or burt ward even.
the dark knight rises thouch my heart

Batman was played by too many actors, they should have kept one 🦇 for the 2005 and up movies 😉

where is the name of the manga?

Wish his goings-on in suicide squad was mentioned
Do i remeber well that alfred never changes but batman does
Wow. No Val Kilmer in the tbumbnail? I guess you HATE Val Kilmer!
I totally forgot he was Batman forever
can you recap all fast and furious movies
13th like
46:59 then his backups backups backup, alfred arrives.
Cue old man suit nipples
Robert Pattinson as Batman is just lol. Can’t take it serious
Yeah and his movie was pretty mid lol. And she is super small. Definitely not a guy that can beat 600 men 😂
1976 readly
u forgot about the GOTHAMS tv series BATMAN but so did the rest of the world so its fine lmao

Yeah but zsjl was great, jossticr league was weddon bcs daughter of Snyder died
You forgot the 1966 movie
The video does say 1989-2023.
I guess you don't understand that 1966 comes before 1989.. what a shame
@@GINYH using the word every at the beginning of the title and putting the date range at the end is misleading
Just for you memory foam, I’ll add the 66 Batman movie AND both serials from the 30s in my next update

Those Snyder movies seem awful, lol
You forgot Suicide Squad again.
i’d hardly consider that a batman movie
A cameo hardly counts as a Batman movie.
Besides, that movie is a piece of garbage. Why make us relive that dumpster fire?
lmao so much kissing in the early ones
Hated the last version of batman. Every batman before had excellent actors. Bring back someone from the past
