Ok, can I just say, I actually really enjoyed this. I'm somebody who had a hard time understanding the Matrix Sequels. The first film was great because the Wachowskis were able to weave their exposition and philosophical discussions naturally, so it doesn't get in the way of the narrative. The Sequels didn't do that. The talk is dumped like an anvil, and it's hard to listen most of the time. I'm starting to get a better idea as to what the Wachowskis were going for. This was so good, I always loved this series and am so glad to find a recap for it. Thanks so much. Do you think you can do a Resident Evil recap next?
I love the Matrix Trilogy, but I can't understand this point 32:42: how can the Architect possibly allow the extinction of the human race if the machines need humans to exist? I know that Neo adresses this exact question to the Architect, but his answer "there are levels of survival we are prepared to accept" never made sense to me (that's not really an answer, is it?). How does the Architect intend to make the Matrix continue if Neo actually chooses the second door, which, according to the Architect himself, is supposed to eventually lead to the death of every human being?! If someone could enlighten me on this obscure element, it would be much appreciated :).
My interpretation of that line is that the Architect is saying the machines can survive without humans but at a much more limited capacity. Meaning, the Matrix would discontinue, humans would be wiped out, and the machines would have to depend on an alternative power source. For example, although sunlight is extremely limited, perhaps they can absorb the limited amounts available and survive with a much smaller population of machines. So, ideally they drain power from humans trapped in the Matrix and therefore thrive… but if not, yeah a bunch of them are wiped out but at least they’re still around. Unlike humans that would supposedly be entirely extinct. And in the scenario of Machines existing in only a limited capacity, presumably there would no longer be a need for the Matrix as it was intended as a prison for humans. But who know… perhaps some of the programs would still choose to exist in that simulation like the Oracle, Seraph, etc (IF there was enough power for the matrix and those programs to exist… albeit in a limited capacity).
@10:42 - I feel like you missed the opportunity to point out the best programming joke to ever appear in a Hollywood blockbuster. The Oracle doesn't just give Neo a cookie. Neo tries to decline the cookie, but The Oracle insists. He is forced to accept the cookie, in order to proceed.
When first Matrix came out it was absolutely mindblowing. I can't say it's underrated, given how much praise it gets. But it still kinda is. There are very few movies that deserve 11/10 rating, and Matrix is one of them.
THis was a very well put together recap. You did a very good job. Cramming it in 5min video wouldn't have worked so well. Im ready to watch the new film now.

Thanks!
Wow, thank you Robert!! Your donation is incredibly appreciated!!
@@OneTakeVids Oh ok, interesting. Thank you for your answer!
@@OneTakeVids Or it could have been a bluff.
I don't get it eeva...
Epic trilogy!! Excellent recap, well done.
I never watched any part on this series. But, randomly came at your video, so now i know what the movies were about. Thanks man !
Thank you so much for this. Now I feel primed and ready to watch the new one. I can’t help but wonder why now after so many years?
$
Probably because it took years for the one to show up as a anomaly in the matrix within the cycle
How amazing were these movies? Absolutely brilliant and the recap was unreal. Nice job 👍
Hello my beautiful friend 🌹 how are you doing today 🌹😘😘
I’ve watched the movies 8 times and re watched this about 8 times
I've never seen the movies so this recap was very much appreciated. Thanks for sharing.
Just watched the new matrix and this really helped me understand it. Amazing video
Thanks Ryan!
Haha, the french-man became an exile.
This was an excellent review of The Matrix Trilogy. Very well done sir. A perfect explanation 🙌🏾
Wonderful synopsis perfectly condensed into less than an hour. Bravo.
Thanks Anthony!!
When first Matrix came out it was absolutely mindblowing. I can't say it's underrated, given how much praise it gets. But it still kinda is. There are very few movies that deserve 11/10 rating, and Matrix is one of them.
That was beautiful. I loved the Matrix.
THis was a very well put together recap. You did a very good job. Cramming it in 5min video wouldn't have worked so well. Im ready to watch the new film now.
This recap is masterpiece
Wooooow.....it is now I'm just really understanding these movies after all theses years. Thank you
