Even if theJoker cuts out his tongue, I'll bet Deadpool starts doing a mime act for the joker, or, starts pulling out signs to answer him with!
Deadpool is Joker's worst nightmare. As we saw with Terry, Joker - pretty ironically - can't take a joke and doesn't like being made fun of or not taken seriously. Deadpool's _entire character_ is about him making EVERYONE the butt of his jokes and not taking _anything_ seriously because he knows it's not real. So any encounter between the two would probably result in Joker getting super pissed at DP because he won't take him seriously, most likely ending with DP just killing his ass the second he tries to pull a hostage situation like he does with Bats.

I would absolutely love this crossover. I love seeing characters roast the fuck out of joker. Dude has such thin skin, and absolutely looses it the moment people aren't scared of him/worship him. Also, I think joker would be jealous. They're both very similar, both had a 'bad day', but deadpool came out the other side comparatively much better. Joker is a miserable, almost suicidal man who wants to drag others down with him. But Deadpool is much happier, and has people who care about him, an actual life worth living.

Joker and deadpool are practically the same type of insanity but on different scales. Both see the world a stage but while one wants everyone else to laugh, the other just doesn’t care Deadpool’s healing factor has caused him to be practically immune to consequences, turning his life into a slapstick comedy where he’s the always the joke. Joker on the other hand has completely snapped and sees life itself as that joke, wanting to show everyone that anyone can become like him if they had one bad day. Deadpools greatest foil against joker is that deadpool has so many bad days that he has lost count. Deadpool’s insanity also grants him some level of understanding, like how he was able to predict Carnage’s actions
The main asset that Deadpool has is the fact that he constantly breaks the 4th wall and KNOWS that he is just fiction unlike Joker who thinks he is "real." Thats why Deadpool is over his marbles cuz he knows for a fact that whatever he does wont really matter.
I think using that motivation for Joker a good marvel foil would be Spider-Man. Every day is a bad day for Spider-Man and he's still the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man
Regardless, he's basically Terry but so much less serious. It would piss Joker off. Since the Crowbar won't work on him like with Jason, he'd flee...until Wade pisses him off even more. Either Joker dies while trying to kill Wade, or he gives up and asks Batman to send him to a real prison, no Gotham ones, just to get away from him.
deadpool vs joker feels like the first half would be a parnk war and the second half would be deadpool giving the joker a new midlife crisis every second.
@Fe_Saibot youre too young to have seen the old batman animated series, the creeper is basically a reporter joker threw into a vat of acid and as a result became insane like joker but leans more towards hero than villain lol.
Joker would probably meet his untimely demise because he'd destroy Deadpool's favourite Chimichanga place to get a reaction out of him and two things we know Deadpool loves are Lady Death and Chimichangas
i think that idea of deadpool overshadowing joker is rlly good. i bet joker's breaking point would be after deadpool has got on some small taunting spree, joker is seething with rage at the end, and asks why deadpool thinks he's so much better than joker, and then deadpool hits him with something like "because frankly, clowny? i'm funnier than you."
The merc with the mouth vs the clown prince of crime. Unpredictable at heart, insanity is the reality of their lives. A man who doesn’t know happiness against a man who knows joys of evil. This is a fun idea

Joker wouldn't stand a chance - Deadpool Vs Carnage shows Carnage using his insanity and chaos to try and escape Deadpool BUT Deadpool can read insanity.. literally knows everything Carnage will do. If the version of the Joker in the battle actually is insane.. then he's toast.
I would say joker has a clear goal but never set plans on how to get there so he is chaotic. Deadpool has no goals or plans. He just go with whatever he feels like at the moment not knowing what’s next.
There's a few things I can think of from the top of my head, like, he'd say to the Joker "wanna know how I got these scars?" definitely, he'd also likely wear teh joker's colour scheme and paint a smile on his mask. Deadpool was kicked out of hell by Mephisto too because he annoyed him so much, so definitely he's going to annoy the Joker. Bonus: Look up the DC Deadpool. "Red Tool", he's basically a direct parody of Deadpool, rather than Deathstroke.
What's really funny to me is the fact that Deadpool is the only person in the Marvel Universe that Thanos will never kill. Because he knows that if he does so Wade would go and bang Death. You know - Thanos's single love interest and the whole reason of him going mad.

. I'm rather fond of a theory that The Joker is actually super humanely sain. He's aware of the fouth wall, even if he doesn't do much to manipulate it, and is a hero in his own mind for giving Batman someone interesting to fight, perpetuating their book and keeping their bit of the universe existing. As a result, the moment he sees Deadpool break the forth wall, one of two things is going to happen. Either he packs it all up when he finds out no one else is showing up and this fight doesn't help his goal. Or they spend the fight trying to help each other with their coriography.
there is being aware of the 4th wall and shattering it like a toy which is what deadpool does on a regular basis. i mean the comic where he got the infinity gauntlet and takes the continuity stone is proof enough.

@@PedroLucas-mg5je Perhaps he’d make an exception if it was something like Talkin’ Toons where Mark and either Ryan or Nolan read some lines just for laughs.
Joker and Deadpool both know they're in a comic book. They called joker superpower hypersanity or ultrasanity. He knows that he's in a comic book that's the reason he does the things he does that story arc is already been done multiple times
Given that the Joker isn't actually insane at all but rather is just evil and cruel, Deadpool might be able to make him actually insane. EDIT: It seems I have to explain what I mean, so I'm just gonna do that. When I say that the Joker isn't insane, I mean that he doesn't meet the legal definition of it. Like, if he tried an insanity defense in court, it wouldn't stick. Because the Joker isn't unable to tell the difference between right and wrong, nor does he fail to comprehend the nature and consequences of the things he does. He knows that the things he does are wrong. He just doesn't care because he gets off on being evil and doing bad things.
@Ability-King-KK What I mean by "not insane" is that he doesn't really fit the legal definition of insanity, ie he's not unable to tell the difference between right and wrong and doesn't fail to comprehend the nature what he's doing. He knows that the things he does are wrong. He just gets off on doing bad things. It's also why it makes no sense that they keep sticking him in an asylum rather than an actual prison.
@@Ability-King-KK no, insane people DO NOT know that what they are doing is wrong. If they did, they wouldn’t be *legally* insane in the first place. Joker is just an evil asshole
It's an oxymoron. Saying the joker would go insane while he's already insane is an oxymoron. Joker: *chokes Deadpool* Deadpool:......... *harder daddy* Joker: wha? 😳
Joker: [monologuing] Deadpool: [shoots nearby henchman] "Oh, I'm sorry, did I interrupt you?" Joker: "Yes, it was very rude. Anyway, as I was saying..." Deadpool (interrupting again): "Tell me - this 'Batman' - does he look like a bitch?" Joker: "Er...what?" Deadpool: "DOES. HE. LOOK. LIKE. A. BITCH?" Y'all know the rest. :)
I've always viewed Deadpool as a kind of Daffy Duck: the eternal screwball who can't take anything seriously, will mess up any situation for anyone (including the Joker) and come out unscathed (because both Deadpool and Daffy are immortal for all intents and purposes). The only differences is that 1) Daffy is a duck and 2) Deadpool wields swords and guns
In one comic, he has a carnage symbiote dog he "gave birth to" and named princess. So Deadpool has a normal daughter, a half demon daughter and how a symbiote dog daughter.
There is a theory that the Joker is, like Deadpool, hyper aware of his reality (ie. aware that he is a part of a work of fiction) and that is why he acts the way he does and treats the life around him like a joke. If he didn’t find Deadpool annoying, they might team up. And there is one problem with your argument that I can find. There are multiple canonical examples of the Joker knowing Batman’s true identity and using it against him, or simply not caring about that bit of information because Batman.
Joker also knows that he's a comic book character so Deadpool messing with him would only annoy him, honestly. What would drive him "insane" would be the thought that a writer decided to f*ck with him by pairing him with Deadpool. Joker doesn't blatantly break the 4th wall but he knows it's there, that's why he says that he's the only "sane" one. That's why he thinks everything, their struggles, their pain and so on are all a "joke", hence "The Joker". Yes, Deadpool is written in a more obviously 4th wall aware character, but Joker also has that awareness.
I'm sorry but where does this idea that Joker is aware he's a fictional character come from? People keep bringing it up as a theory but I haven't seen anything to actually support it.
@@l.pricetag.5207just looked it there is a comic panel of joker breaking the forth wall he gets locked up and says “i mean, if i’m not crazy, what am I doing in the looney bin…all alone in solitary confinement…talking to my imaginary…uh…you are imaginary, right? RIGHT?!” so from that specific panel he is and apparently(i saw it on reddit so idk) grant morrison confirmed that sometimes he recognizes he’s a comic book character because he suffers from “super-sanity”
It doesn't make him immune to the pain of torture, but he's already been there done that so it doesn't affect him for the reasons you torture someone, just makes him hurt and more determined to mess up the person putting him in pain.
There’s a theory that the joker is not insane, but hypersane. He is hyper aware of what is really going on - that he is in a comic book and that he had a part to play. He knows exactly what he’s doing all the time, and rolls with the plot (the joke as he sees it) as it demands him to. I get the feeling that joker would have a blast with deadpool.
@@rsrt6910 Ah, but he could also do all those jokes with his corpse (think ventriloquism act riffing on all the DC tropes used to justify keeping Joker around) and be twice as funny.
depends how Deadpool runs into Joker. If it's casual then he'd have fun, if he comes across Joker doing some of his worse stuff then Joker will die quickly. A thing to remember about Deadpool is that he is a bad person, he is a criminal a murderer and a lunatic but he WANTS to be a hero, he just sucks at it. Deadpool has morals, he does know that there are lines to not cross and he would hate Joker.
Before I even watch the video (but I will!) I'm guessing the main reason is because Deadpool will laugh AT the Joker, and if there's one thing he can't stand, it's being the butt of the joke. Not only will Deadpool "Get the joke" when Joker is doing it, he'll decide that the joke applies to EVERYONE and even Joker can be on the receiving end.
i kind of agree. there is one sticking point tho, Joker DOES have a few people he could target. Like Hydra bob, Or his kid, Captian America, Spiderman, Agent Preston, Negasonic teenage warhead, The simboit dog Princess. Various girlfriends ( most of witch have super powers) Now if the people that joker decides to mess wtih dont kill him Deadpool 100% will. Doesnt get brought up much but when people mess with Deadpools family they usually end up dead either very quickly or very painfully When deadpool stops making jokes. He makes Alot mor bodies.
Deadpool doesn't need a reason to try and kill Joker so he wouldn't need to target Deadpool's love ones. Joker is basically the embodiment of almost everything Deadpool hates the most as one character.
For a perfect example of the Joker quickly tiring of an immortal torture victim, one needs look no further than the Emperor Joker comic story where he tricked Mr. Mxyzptlk into giving him the majority of their power, using it to take over the world and make the lives of Superman and Batman a living hell. He was only really thriving once the capes and Mxy were able to fight back.
I should mention that comic book Deadpool does have someone that Joker can get to him through, his daughter. However, this would be a very bad idea for Joker for one reason, Deadpool's daughter calls Spider-Man, "Uncle Spidey." Joker messes with Ellie and gets a quiet Spider-Man in the black suit.
Not to mention that Ellie also has a healing factor and is currently being trained by fucking TASKMASTER. Also the moment Joker threatens his daughter, Wade would shoot him in the head without hesitation
For all we know, Joker knows about the 4th wall as well. I think Joker is so insane because he does know he's fake, but puts on his theatrics so as to feel like he's in a never ending movie. Acting, and joking. But then again, Joker has more of a personality disorder than DP at this point.
Joker: Oh how sweet, we got another hero in town. What can I... Deadpool: Sorry I didn't know that the circus came here. Where are your balloons little buddy? Can you juggle a bit for me?
Canonically, The Joker isn't even insane. He's "Super Sane". It's basically a term made up by the comics to explain why he's constantly changing his personality and threat level. Basically, his sanity fluctuates so that no matter who he's surrounded by, his sanity constantly adjusts to make him the most dangerous person in every situation. It's also been hinted at that The Joker (like Wade) knows he's a comic book character. He just doesn't like to acknowledge it.
The thing with joker is depending on the continuity he is hyper-sane older versions knew he was in a comic and would randomly talk to the reader even turning the page in the comic. He knew he could get away with anything as the writer will just have him escape and everyone forgets. And Joker has dealt with immortal beings. With Doctor Hurt who is an immortal and Joker just buried him in a metal coffin and walked away…
Not only that, but Joker would be terrified of Deadpool, kinda like how he was scared of the Punisher. If Joker learns about Deadpool's feat in pushing Carnage towards his breaking point, it'll frighten Joker all the more.
Not sure if it’s well-known, but Deadpool does have one potential weakness Joker could exploit. It wouldn’t be easy to even find out, but this is Joker. The weakness is this: comics Deadpool has a daughter.
I'm just imagining when the Joker finally breaks due to Deadpool messing with him, the Joker just desperately clings to Batman screaming "HE'S A LUNATIC!!!" Just like with the Creeper.
Comicbook joker and deadpool share the same 4th wall breaking understanding of their fictional reality. It is all a game to both of them, because they both know their reality is fiction.
A buddy cop style movie where joker needs to help him get home would be a good way to branch out and make just a straight up comedy as opposed to an action movie with comedy.
This situation was already played out in Deadpool vs Carnage. Despite Carnage thinking he's a random force of chaos, Deadpool was able to predict where he would be and beat him like a cheap drum. Fun read!

@@lancekemal8989 But the job stops him from killing the Joker, so he would accept it for all that money.

Joker and deadpool are practically the same type of insanity but on different scales. Both see the world a stage but while one wants everyone else to laugh, the other just doesn’t care
Deadpool’s healing factor has caused him to be practically immune to consequences, turning his life into a slapstick comedy where he’s the always the joke.
Every day is a bad day for Spider-Man and he's still the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man
You're talking about Mad Cap, He sees the world as a stage, meanwhile Deadpool is more human
No, Wade is a sociopath, you def don't understand Wade
Regardless, he's basically Terry but so much less serious.
It would piss Joker off. Since the Crowbar won't work on him like with Jason, he'd flee...until Wade pisses him off even more.
Either Joker dies while trying to kill Wade, or he gives up and asks Batman to send him to a real prison, no Gotham ones, just to get away from him.
deadpool vs joker feels like the first half would be a parnk war and the second half would be deadpool giving the joker a new midlife crisis every second.

Like, if he tried an insanity defense in court, it wouldn't stick. Because the Joker isn't unable to tell the difference between right and wrong, nor does he fail to comprehend the nature and consequences of the things he does.

Spider-Man would lynch Joker on sight with a huge shit-eating grin underneath his mask

"Oh you're a psycho, alright. Just not a super one!"
When it comes to insane, chatty Cathies , Joker is like that line Dante said to Jester in DMC3.

Reminds me of when Deadpool schooled Carnage who prides himself on his unpredictability.
In comics, Deadpool does have something Joker can exploit: His daughter.
Joker is chaos, but Deadpool is just madness. Chaos is the opposite of order, it has a purpose and a way, Joker represents something
For all we know, Joker knows about the 4th wall as well. I think Joker is so insane because he does know he's fake, but puts on his theatrics so as to feel like he's in a never ending movie. Acting, and joking. But then again, Joker has more of a personality disorder than DP at this point.

Joker wouldn't handle a 2007 CoD lobby 😂😂😂
That is just pure chaos
Not only that, but Joker would be terrified of Deadpool, kinda like how he was scared of the Punisher. If Joker learns about Deadpool's feat in pushing Carnage towards his breaking point, it'll frighten Joker all the more.
0:56 Just a random comment that appears when you watch the video in portrait mode, you weirdo
Damn you got me 😔
No Way I Got Called Out 😭
I am not beating the adhd allegations
I literally just opened the video 😭
I felt obligated to find this comment after it popped up, because ain't no way 💀
Not sure if it’s well-known, but Deadpool does have one potential weakness Joker could exploit. It wouldn’t be easy to even find out, but this is Joker. The weakness is this: comics Deadpool has a daughter.
Joker:- you can't kill me wade hahahahhah
Deadpool:- Shoots him in the head...
Yeah that's not been tried before. Totally haven't had multiple highly skilled killers attempting that very thing and failing.
@dakotablount251 its Deadpool he will pull up some crazy tricks and succeed
@Anupamprime I mean...Deadpool fails too often for me to trust that xD but maybe. He does succeed randomly
I'm just imagining when the Joker finally breaks due to Deadpool messing with him, the Joker just desperately clings to Batman screaming "HE'S A LUNATIC!!!" Just like with the Creeper.
Not to many people know but Joker does know he is a fictional character. The channel “Imaginary Axis” talks in great depth about it.
I watched that video years ago , it was really fascinating
I like how the description says *“Deadpool would make the Joker INSANE”* as if The Joker isn’t already insanely crazy to begin with 😭
Joker couldn't stand up to Spidey's quips, much less Deadpool.
Joker used to break the fourth wall when he first came out
Comicbook joker and deadpool share the same 4th wall breaking understanding of their fictional reality. It is all a game to both of them, because they both know their reality is fiction.
Deadpool was driven insane by MadCap, Stevil and Stryfe, He's a terribly and crazy person, probably Joker would be like Madcap
Also in Deadpool 2 when cable said"who are you!" Deadpool replyed "I'm batman🦇 "
Just look at the BTAS episode where Joker was one up by the Creeper. That explains what would happen between him and DP.
This is my first visit. Good video. Good content.
deadpool does have ppl he cares about who he considers family so joker could go after that to affect him
Not with Princess around lol
A buddy cop style movie where joker needs to help him get home would be a good way to branch out and make just a straight up comedy as opposed to an action movie with comedy.
This immediately made me think of the movie "Due Date" and Joker is RDJ's character and Deadpool is Zach Galifianakis's character.
Joker might off himself being around Deadpool
This situation was already played out in Deadpool vs Carnage. Despite Carnage thinking he's a random force of chaos, Deadpool was able to predict where he would be and beat him like a cheap drum. Fun read!
I misread the title of the video, I thought it said "Why Daredevil would drive The Joker Insane".
"Why Daredevil would make The Joker legally not insane, sending him to the chair".
daredevil would beat joker in court by filing a case about tax evasion, and sending the IRS to get joker's azz lol
