You guys--I love it. I can't handle it. Kappacasein is so good and that raclette is SO EFFING GOOD. Thanks for watching this London episode and we'll see you back here next week! ❤️🤘👍😎🍸🐴💙🏅🖖👻
It's actually super easy. You ask seven questions, and the tapestry of self-promotion and anxiety unravels. Easiest job in the world, which is not to say you can't be a good interviewer.
Lucas, it seems like you are deliberately reviewing the grilled cheese as slowly as you can so that you could finish the whole thing by yourself😂😂 Really enjoyed this episode😋👍
Thanks to Eater and Lucas for the heads up. I had the chance to try this place at Borough Market a couple of weeks ago. They definitely do a fantastic grilled cheese sandwich. My mouth is watering just watching this again.
That is an amazing sandwich. I first had it in 2008 when they were under a tent on the London Bridge end of the market (great to know they have done well enough to move into one of the formal shops. I had no idea they were behind Oggleshield, which is one of my favorite cheeses and I’m always searching for it in the US cheese shops, but never see it.
It 6:45am and I just binge-watched more than 10 episodes! No regrets lol Lucas you're the man. Time to go to bed I guess...well one more episode shouldn't hurt, right?!
It's 1.58am in London, UK and this video has made me hungry for a toasted cheese sandwich. Thanks. A. Lot - I have no cheese and no bread and this shop is shut :( When I visit I will suggest they start doing macaroni cheese ... that should be a massive thing of beauty
Grilled cheese looks delicious. On a different note, I can appreciate Lucas' excellent diction and enunciation however his pregnant pauses during his description between swallows is grating as hell. But I don't want him to change. I still love him and this series.
People really need to stop knocking the US, They have shit food, they have amazing food just like EVERYWHERE in the world, Guarantee there are places in the US with Grilled cheese just as good if not better than this. :P
I like how when lucas is abroad he's more humbled than when he's in the us. Maybe the producers warned him that there's no such thing as 1st amendment to protect him abroad.
It was £5 when they started 14 years ago. The main cheddar they use retails at about £16 p/kg. Along with the Gruyere and London Raclette which are pricier and it's a fair price. You can't say they skimp on the cheese.
Comon, you go into a starbuck each to get your latte and a shitty muffin for $9. 6 pound is cheap for that sandwich which is a 1000X better than that stale muffin.

THE Cheese Toastie to end all cheese toasties. The bread is from Poilane btw, amazing sourdough.
Lucas Peterson Lucas como siempre eres lo mejor!
the way he smiles at the grill cheese is what makes this show special
well, i learned today that it's not easy to interview everyone
it's not, but it's always good when the food speaks for itself!
Bill is always a man of few words. Probably why he spends most of his time tending to cheese :D
Lucas Peterson absolutely! let the food speak for itself.
new mi which is totally ok! :) it was just an observation from my end as I'm learning more about broadcast journalism and interviewing
It's actually super easy. You ask seven questions, and the tapestry of self-promotion and anxiety unravels.
Easiest job in the world, which is not to say you can't be a good interviewer.

We're glad you had as good of an experience as we did. Thanks for watching!
It's never a cheesy time when Lucas is around!
Lucas enjoys the food so much he can barely explain it.

Murray's Cheese in NYC carries it!
Can we please give Lucas a long format show? He's the best host Eater has.
Ah the marvellous Lucas P of addictive Dining on a Dime ft the fine cheese stylings of Kappacasein. What's not to love?
It 6:45am and I just binge-watched more than 10 episodes! No regrets lol Lucas you're the man. Time to go to bed I guess...well one more episode shouldn't hurt, right?!
Remember eating there when they still had a little stand inside the market. Cheese is always good but that taste was incredible.
love lucas!!!! the owner Bill was so friendly! wish I knew about this place when I went to london!
I eat way too much cheese, this episode has only inspired me to eat more. Thanks.

I don't care how it's made I'm eating that
Hd Tigerrs yes you are it is so good
- this video taught me that I have a fetish for watching cheese melt slowly, whilst caramelizing.
Lucas always killing my bruv!! great review:)
That looks delicious, a creamy tomato basil soup would be an awesome side.

Lucas finds the best food spots!
I'm a simple man. I read "Grilled cheese" and I click 'like'
See Lucas = Like.
love your vids keep up the good work cymru 😀
is it possible to fall in love with video food host? 😍
One of my favorite places in the world. You can smell that melting cheese from the Underground.
What is the name of the Gruyère? Is it available only from Mr. Oglethorpe?
HIs cheese, Ogleshield, is available at cheese purveyors in quite a few different cities.
Awesome, I work like 10 minutes from this place. Always thought it looked a bit tame/touristy but I will be heading there as a priority now.
let us know if it is any good!
I need that grilled cheese in my belly now! 🧀 🧀 🧀
Looks so good!
This actualy looks like the raclette you get in switzerland 👍🏻

Dangerous drinking game: Take a shot every time the cheese guy says yeah.

Am hungry.. 😋
Had to go back to this video because I realized I haven't clicked the thumbs up button yet. ^_^
Eater: everything is Nutty and Funky
London has a better grilled cheese sandwich than America 😂
I'm sure there's a fair few places that have a better "grilled cheese sandwich" than America.
People really need to stop knocking the US, They have shit food, they have amazing food just like EVERYWHERE in the world, Guarantee there are places in the US with Grilled cheese just as good if not better than this. :P
C'mon guys, let's leave America alone.
Let's just enjoy good food from everywhere and be buds, eh?
Saying the rest of the world might as well not exist is nothing to be proud of...at all.
ya, I live in the US please don't associate that MDent with me. Thanks
Catch me skanking with a grilled cheese in my hand
I like how when lucas is abroad he's more humbled than when he's in the us. Maybe the producers warned him that there's no such thing as 1st amendment to protect him abroad.
Omg so many good things in one video
ILY LUCAS
to get a good raclette you have to come to Switzerland ;-)
fuck yeah, go cheese toasties
I think I've pretty much had enough of raclette at this point. It's EVERYWHERE in social media. It's melted cheese people, calm it.
I just wanted to curl up next to that grilled cheese ALSO!!!!!
Do you know what we call a grilled cheese sandwich here in the UK? A cheese toastie. Aren't we cute?
YOURE IN LONDON :D
I need to have my passport renewed.
cheese and lasagna are reasons enough for me to stay alive.
This guy could pass for a Mark Wiens stunt double
£6 for grilled cheese. that is insane!
That is London
mangols12 If you look at how much they pay for the location you'd understand why 😂 if it was outside of London it would be about £4
London is insane

can we switch job?
For those of us that use measurements that don't make sense, 150 Kilos is about 331 pounds.
What jacket is he wearing?
That is a perfect grilled cheese......
I'm actually very curious and this may sound stupid. But is this Lucas Peterson guy in the comments the real Lucas?
Yes.
why not visiting switzerland for f* sake! :D
i'll show you around!
Krombopulos Brian um I've been waiting for my invite
Krombopulos Brian EXACTLY.
Lucas Peterson take this as your official invite :D
you're officially invited! i'd be happy to help you out!
Krombopulos Brian love the name dude
Everything is under 8 pounds?! That makes me so sad. I live in the US where a plate of raclette can cost $40+ :(
Pre-covid life seemed so damn care free :(
Sharp, nutty ,pungent. Let's just throw every adjective to describe cheese in there
What's the jacket you're wearing here, Lucas?
Stefan I honestly have no idea, I got it at a thrift store in NYC, but it's great it has this huge pouch in the front
When it comes to cheese... i dont know how he kept eating and he kept explaining along the way. Huhuhu
...
Just scrap that molten hot cheese right into my mouth!!!
cheeeeesssseeeeee!!! 😍😍
I feel like the proprietor is a few cheese wheels short of a wagon if you know what I mean.
