    Can you imagine the world, especially the big cities, without immigration (as some of those old sods want)? How boring food would be? How wonderful that in the same city you can walk and find some oddly fantastic colombian fusion dish, a brazilian/amazonian flatbread, a chinese crepe, an indian burger, whacky greek-mexican fries and who knows what else?!
    Now I'm sad I don't live in one of those big cities and our food is boring.😂...and I'm hungry😅

    • @ChappersLaNoCry
      @ChappersLaNoCry 5 лет назад +53

      It's also good to make the distinction between the people that don't want immigration and the people who don't want illegal immigration and unfair advantages over British born citizens.

    • @PozoBlue
      @PozoBlue 5 лет назад +14

      @Fardin Ahsan Dude, my comment wasn't that deep. I was merely talking about the variety of foods and extreme anti-immigration opponents (i.e. to have none at all). Immigration is a more nuanced topic obviously and it's impossible to generalize as each country has different policies and history with it.
      As for the backlash you mention, that wasn't as much about teaching kids about not discriminating against gays (things that have long been mentioned in UK education for quite some time), but about the new 'No Outsiders' materials being introduced which isn't about 'don't discriminate gays' but is downright indoctrination on the anti-scientific gender ideology nonsense pushing the trans ID thing to extremes (including literally false info on the protected categories in the Equalities Act) and a lot of other very disturbing ideas about 'breaking the notions of kids as nonsexual beings and seeing them instead as sexual being to engage with teachers' (I wish I were kidding, this is the shit the guy who wrote that material is putting in there..and he was a teacher! creepster vibes to the max). I didn't understand what the fuss was about when they reported it in the news as I support gay rights 100% and am gay myself, then I took the time to revise the material and then read a very thorough analysis of it that was published a couple of weeks ago and it's insane. I would've protested too and would be picketing parliament until they removed that crap from all schools, if I could. It's not a muslim thing, that they are being conservative or whatever, it's the disturbing nature of the material itself. I can't believe no one reviewed that garbage before they pushed it into schools.

      randomm User1237589 plus immigration has its cons.It can lead to a minority in the natives.Illegal drug dealers and Terrorist can sneak militants in.It can lead to clashing religions.It can lead to clashing political views.In a very rare situations it can let extremists in a country to sabatoge or kill natives.Whilst I do not believe in a complete cut off of immigration to much immigration can lead to conflict.

    This video highlights one thing I noticed about European countries while travelling- food from other countries and cultures seem to dominate the local food scene, more so than "local" dishes. I was recommended kebab, or Thai or Vietnamese food when I asked what was good around the area. Rarely did anyone recommend something that is really local. I'm from Singapore, and if anyone asks "what is your best food/restaurant here?", it will definitely be a Singaporean dish. This is pretty much the case for every Asian country.

      in a way, i hope more people express this sentiment. i want the vast majority of people across the globe, british or from any other country, constantly saying how bad british food is. i want it to be brought to an absolute fever pitch in the near future. then, and only then, will the average native british citizen be freed from their domestication and indoctrinated self hatred. they can finally be motivated to explore their own culture and heritage, and feel pride again. this wont happen until all other groups express their opposition clearly and strongly though, developed countries are still too comfortable; the importation of backwards immigrants hasn't made violence ubiquitous in the UK yet.
