After pumping the Pepsi, pumping the sprite 😂
Exactly, those sellers are making fun of the people who follow the hype. I will never buy any watch from market unless its less than the AD. This is how it used to be before 2016 and this is what I will spend my money at.
You have to be retarded to buy any of these watches as an “investment”
Thanks for the Sunday update Charlie.👍
Thanks Mike, appreciate you tuning in 🙏
What about the white gold Daytona with Blue dial? I know that they are discontinued, but are they in demand? Its my grail watch.
Very sought after model yes! You have great taste 👌🏻
As always you are the man… best watch videos on YT!
Thanks mate I really appreciate that 🙏 glad you like the content 👌🏻
Candid information, good stuff 👍😊
Thank you mate I really appreciate that 🙏

What happened? Defect?
It's a Chinese fake
Lovely video as always Charlie! How are the ”entry level” dials on the oysterflex standing today in the market? Should you get them at retail (if possible) or is it cheaper to get them in the grey market from a dealer?
So they will still be slightly over list on the secondary market so worth picking up from the AD if looking to buy to keep 👍
Great video! Is the no date sub still over list for you to buy? And by how much?
Thank you for watching mate glad you liked this one!
Yes these are currently over list, if you want to reach out via the website we can discuss your options.

How do you find bi-metal DJ41 wimbledons performing? Specifically fluted and jubilee bracelet models.
Unfortunately quite a lot underlist to resell, but great to have in your collection for the long run 👌🏻
Hi Charlie, would like to seek your opinion, root beer or batgirl at grey market price shall retain better of their price? Buy to wear for me. Thank you 😊
Both incredible models, with the Batgirl being a touch more sought after. But you should go with what you will get most enjoyment out of wearing 👌
Superb videos man. One of the very few guys I watch regularly.
Thankyou mate I really appreciate that! So glad you like the content 🙏
What are your thoughts about the 126519 with black dial (without diamonds) released last year? It went under the radar, and I have not seen you mention it.
It is a very stunning model - not as popular as the Ghost but a very clean combination 👌🏻
Another great video charlie. What's your opinion on the GMT 116710LN.
Don't see you mention them too often
Thank you Nick, really appreciate that! Such stunning models, definitely ones that don't come around too often these days 🙌
@thehonestwatchdealer nice one mate . I got mine brand new in 2016 & still love it to this day 👌
Great content, Charlie ! Cheers from America!
Thanks John, glad you like the content and appreciate you watching over in America! 🙏
Thoughts on the new 126515. Would you consider it a “top” dial?
Absolutely 👌🏻 such a stunning watch!
Good video Charlie, plenty of people will give you flak but a good professional in any industry manages expectations by articulating their position. Well done.
Thanks mate I really appreciate the great feedback - thanks for watching 👍
Great useful info . Any news on the discontinued Yachtmaster 2
Thank you Joe, I really appreciate that.
Not much yet but hopefully should gradually appreciate over time 👍
Fantastic video Charlie, you're soo dialled in (excuse the pun!) Great market summary!
Aha great pun! 😆
Thank you for watching mate, glad you liked this one 👌🏻
Is the daytona oysterflex diamond markers a good buy?
They are stunning models, though the diamonds on the Oysterflex models are not as popular as without 👍
Great update on the market Charlie enjoy it.
Thank you Simon, appreciate you tuning in every week! 🙌
How about the DJ 41s with motif dials? Are you seeing much demand given they were discontinued?
Not much more than previously, it will likely kick in once the dust settles and they become much more sparse 👍
@@thehonestwatchdealer Cheers for the reply.
What the wait time looking like for a Submariner? I recently got my BLNR but also want a Sub but I'm wondering if the wait is going to be as long as for the BLNR. I waited a year and a half for my BLNR
Hard to say, each AD has their own allocations - you will have to see what sort of wait time they can give you 👍
Got a sub in one month
@@alohaguchis Thats some good going, congratulations!
What about the 116520 with the white dial? How are they doing on the market?
Still holding steady, very popular model among collectors 👌
Interesting update, keep the watch news coming! ⌚
Thank you, glad you liked this one 👌🏻
Excellent analysis mate, you are one who takes time to respond to viewers, hats off to you for your service to watch collectors and investors community
Thank you I really appreciate that - so pleased you enjoy the content! 🙏
That’s why I never ever pay over MSRP for anything !! 😏 if something that I like is overpriced, I wait or fine another option.
Agree. If you pay over MSRP, you are increasing your risk so I don’t.
@@cjjohnson4231 Of course !! 😂 Do you know how many ppl are stocked with APs and Patek that they paid $75K-$150K over, when the market was in its peak?? And now they’re crying because all those watches went down !!
How is the SkyDweller range trading these days ?
Sky-Dwellers are doing very well, especially in the Blue and Mint Green dials 👌
Another great video Charlie.
Thanks mate glad you liked this one!
Hope you’re well 🙏
Many thanks for your contribution to all the watch lover, may I know what you think about Rolex 116600 hold for long run please. Many Thanks
Thank you mate I really appreciate that! So glad you like the content, yes its a stunning model and should hold its value well over time 👌
This whole market stinks. How Rolex can sell multiple watches to a customer and not work out where they've gone, is shocking. It's complicit in this corruption. And this man is a salesman, who may not be saying things that are in your interest.
Rolex don’t sell the watches, authorised dealers do. They can sell the watches to whomever they wish, it’s not corruption.
@@patrickmassie6879 It seems you know little of what goes on. It's corruption. And I can assure you that Rolex has, and has had for a long time full data of who and where it's watches are. Your willingness to write something, when you literally know nothing, doesn't improve the situation.
@@verynormalmandefine corruption.
It’s a business, and they are there to make profits.
Buyers do what they want.
Speculators took their chances, some made money and some lost.
Anyone can determine where and how they spend their money as long as they’re not breaking their, not yours, law.
None of your business
@@KC-bv9kf The relationships are criminal. If a customer volunteers, or is asked for an inducement to supply watches, on a continuous basis, that is a crime, and is therefore corruption. The destination of watches, is changed by the provision of that inducement. If you regard this as the "cut and thrust" of business, then you should go and consult a lawyer. Perhaps your business arrangements have been criminal over the years.

Purchased the exact Azzurro Blue DateJust model Sept 2023 from my AD. My daily. Love the watch!!

Question: With no discontinuation of the GMT Sprite do you reckon this watch could drop in price closer to the Batman or under 14k?
They will certainly come down - we will have to see where they bottom out 👍
@@thehonestwatchdealer Thanks considering pulling the trigger on this soon so will maybe hold off another month....if I can as I love the watch.
@@jakegraham4782 Yes it certainly is an incredible model isn't it 👌
I’ve seen a lot of Pepsis go for sale on FB groups. Some folks still trying to ask for daft money. They have come down a bit in price, but are still way too high imo.
It might take a few weeks but the inflated prices should start coming back down again if you wait 👍
Buying a Rolex on FB market place? Balls of steel. I would imagine most of those watches will be Reps.
Another great video Charlie, I love my Sprite and will continue to wear it, as you say that’s what there for, I’m sure worn or unworn they will be good for the future. Cheers. 😊
Spot on there David! Great one for the future for sure.
Wear and enjoy it, you are exactly right!
Tbh there does not seem like prices have came down more so stabilized. Theres Daytonas fetching crazy premiums given the over supply of inventory. Would you say there’s a level of price fixing between dealers?
They certainly have stabilised on some models yes, popularity and difficulty obtaining from the AD determines the secondary value 👍
Another great video. I just bought the 40mm Yachtmaster in Rhodium dial. Stunning watch. How’s the market on these? I’m not planning to sell either at least for a couple of years.
Thank you really appreciate that! Congratulations mate such a great model, definitely the best dial - enjoy it!
If you're looking at resell the blue dial is the way to go
What do you think of the full gold paul newman?
Such an incredible model, unfortunately the full gold pieces are struggling quite a bit at the moment but should be a great long term hold 👌
Interesting! The corrections off speculation is wild.
Thank you for watching!
I think the two tone rootbeer is the watch to buy, stunning daily or casual watch for the money! The Watch looks richer then it’s price. I really enjoy every single of your videos. Cheers !
You are absolutely spot on there Mark such a great watch for the money!
Thank you for enjoying the content, I really appreciate it! 🙌
Great to see all daytonas doing well.. very surprised about the sprite. Fantastic fresh summer watch, much prefer this than batman and unique being left hand drive
Yes it is a great timepiece isn’t it, especially being the more unusual LHD 👌🏻
I look forward to these updates every week Charlie and you never disappoint me mate. Thank you for this update speak soon 💥💥👍🏻
Thanks Paul I appreciate you tuning in every week! Hope you’re well mate 🙏
I've been waiting for a Daytona panda for years. I'm also in the market for a white Explorer II. I have a GMT Batgirl and Tudor Pelagos (great watch).
Ah hopefully you will get the call for the Panda soon!
Two incredible models you already have 👌
What about the datejust motif dials? 36 mm
Stunning models, very hard to come by and should start to appreciate now they have been discontinued 👍
Thumbnail shows Daytonas and words "FLOODING the market" ! In fact it seems the only ones flooding the market are Sprite GMT's. Did I understand this correctly?? Very baity upload if so.
Not all daytonas are desirable.
What’s your opinion on the BLNR
Great models on both bracelets!
Great vid 👍👍👍
Thanks mate, really appreciate that!
all i want is a pepsi, but it's so hard to come by the jubilee bracelet
Very hard to find at the moment, hopefully you can find one soon! 🤞
New or used?
In Denmark there’s a lot of them.

Fantastic video. I must tell you, after paying 10,2 for my 114060, I can’t believe they are now selling for 9700 and even lower. I wonder what the floor will be? Never thought I would see a ceramic no date Sub falling like this. Wonder what the reason is-maybe Tudor releasing the monochrome black bay?
Got offered a mint one full set for £7500. I wouldn’t pay more than £7250 private.
They will eventually reach a bottom and then begin to creep up again over time 👍
Everose Sky Dweller with blue-green dial?
Stunning model, though the full precious metal models are quite slow in the current market 👍
Thanks
Not sure I buy this to be honest, consigned my gmt batman ( 2016 ) to a big grey dealer and still after 4 weeks in hasn’t sold, being listed very competitively.
Maybe he has sold it but didn't tell you. Consigning a watch is never a great idea.
Glad I sold mine a while back !
Congratulations on the sale! 🙌

What about the yellow gold Jubilee GMT? Love that watch
Such an incredible timepiece - though the full precious metal models are struggling a bit in the current market 👍
Sorry I meant the two tone version.
@@John_watches-cars Ah ok, yes holding steading at the moment, seemed to have bottomed out - for now!
Ok thank you!
Is the president day date 40 black dial gold in 2024 still high in demand?
A very stunning model, though the full precious metal models are quite slow in the current market 👍
I'm a lefty who wears watches on my right wrist, and the lefty GMT is my dream watch, so I hope people stop buying them to tank the prices.
Ah that would be good for you! Hopefully you can manage to pick one up 👌🏻
after corkscrews, scissors and circular saws , we may finally win a round!
Still Double Retail Price
@@Patekcollector5205 In the UK it retails for £10,000, but there's one on eBay for £14,200, and there are places selling it for £15,000 to £16,000, and it's steadily dropping, though slowly.
Does this chap not have any other shirts?
It’s the Trademark white shirt 👌🏻😉
I like the sprite since I wear a submariner on my right hand. So that will be my next buy but to wear not hide away.
Definitely the best way to go, buy to wear and enjoy! Stunning model to aim for 👌🏻
wish my Rootbeer gets a jubilee bracelet someday
That would look great 👌🏻
I'm left-handed and I really want a Sprite.
Hopefully you can manage to pick one up 👌🏻
Really fond of the new WG 126509 black dial baby le mans. Should I trade my 126500 black dial or just forget the 126509 for a while? Thank you sir 🙏🏻
Yes it is a stunning model, though the full precious metal models are struggling at the moment, you may be able to get one cheaper if you wait a bit longer 🤞
Just stick to the Pepsi and nice Daytona’.
👌🏻 can’t go wrong
I have an unworn never been out the box 2004 Pepsi. Bought it for my son when he was born as a 21st birthday gift. He’s lost 3 g-shocks so he got a car instead and I kept the Pepsi for myself.
I am a right hander and I own a Sinn EZM 3, another so-called left hand drive. It is quite an annoying watch when you adjust the date and time.
I can imagine it being if you aren’t left handed! Still a stunning watch though 👌🏻
Really nice
Thanks mate!

@@thehonestwatchdealer I"ve got an unworn Oyster, warranty date 5/1/24... Inquire within
Thanks for the update. I’m in Vegas this weekend and they have a blue dial white gold Pepsi for sale at the AD. I asked a different AD and he said he saw 60 Batman-Batgirl last year and 2 Pepsi stainless. Both ADs were very straight up with what is going on currently and mentioned Rolex might end up changing how watches are sold by only selling to first time buyers. Before the hard to get watches went to the clients with history.
I highly doubt Rolex will sell only to first time buyers. That would really piss off repeat customers, especially those who buy to keep the watches. Not that I really care what they do. 😅
That sounds like a croc, but wouldn’t you just go to a new AD and say you want your first Rolex?
That would certainly spice things up if it ended up being true!
Wow 60 Batman/Batgirls! Must be a big store?
@@Chillguy849 Maybe he saw Superman and The Joker too 🤷🏻♂️
OP seemed to say that both AD’s said Rolex were going to instruct them to sell only to new clients so it must be true!
So the market is flooded but still you guys are paying way above retail price !!? 😅😅 those things should be retail -20% before even thinking getting into !
any demand for 116520?
Yes these ones are very popular amount collectors 🙌
@@thehonestwatchdealer white or black dial?
I appreciate your content. I know it’s probably too much to ask, but if the price in USD popped up every time you referenced in pounds, it would be extremely helpful for those of us in the U.S.
Thanks mate I appreciate that 🙏 great idea, I’ll see what we can do 👍
@@thehonestwatchdealer no problem at all, glad you liked the suggestion and hope it works out. I think it would really help in the US market. Since we’re talking, I like so many other people, have been wanting a Rolex Pepsi for quite some time now. The recent price bumps along with the rumored cancellation that never happened has me really scratching my head. Would you mind giving me your opinion on whether or not you would buy at this time in this inflated market or what you think would be a good time to buy? Why not use a currency converter? I’m in a different EU country and just have to know the difference
@@FortunateSon Definitely in a buyers market on most models now the prices have come down, others that were expecting discontinued might be best to wait a little while longer 👍
What do you think of the Baby Le Man (White Gold Oysterflex Daytona with black dial) - is that a buy if you could get it from the AD?
‘Is that a buy?’ 😂 you should buy what you like mate, don’t be a prat.
Stunning model yes and a great one to get 👍
Charlie, how are your Submariner 124060s doing?
I have to say… After owning mine for a few months now, this has to be the greatest Rolex ever made. The larger bracelet and tapered lugs are perfectly weighted now. It has such a clean look without the cyclops. Hands down a must buy. The fact it fits so well on my 5.9 inch wrist should speak volumes!
Spot on there such a great timepiece, glad you are enjoying it. Really sought after model at the moment 👍
Recently bought one for 12.5k cash. Its my forever watch, I love the clean look without the cyclops.
@@cryptocorey8582 Congratulations on picking one up - such a clean looking dial 👌
well said, love it, anything blingier is not for me. A couple of years agio, I was offered the black rolesor from the AD immediately for list...£12000 and change.....all I wanted was the standard Sub.....that was a no....such a shame.
Flippers still holding on for dear life to make some money on Rolex. It’s time to move on to an easier industry to make money guys. This dealer is still saying “long term investment”. These watches are NOT investments. Completely pointless buying these for “long term investments”. People want to make money quickly. Not long term.
Is a great that Rolex holds its value well? Yeah of course. Does that mean they are investments? Absolutely not.
Buy what you like. Buy to wear.
People can do what they like with what they bought with their money that they earned!
Sick of people telling others to wear watches!!

The Pepsi has been around forever. Those saying it would be discontinued have rocks in their head.. it is one of Rolex’s along with the submariner that will stay for ever.
The prices are lower in Asia than in the UK for all the models … in Singapore, the 2024 Sprites are going for £13.5k brand new, Pepsis £17.5k, steel Daytonas £25.9k..

I absolutely love to hear how these people who are not collectors are losing money. Totally deserved!
Stop buying from secondary market with premium price, the watches will re-appear again! Lol
I don’t think many are buying on grey market. Just look at chrono 24, grey market watches been listed for like ever.
I do like to hear about the greedy pricks that don’t actually want the watch getting screwed over.
Pepsi not Pepsay
The prices need to fall significantly before newcomers will enter.
Still way overpriced for what they are
Hahaha 😂 buy a Watch and lock it in the safe box🤣
Man can this dude talk. He should be doing auctions.
Watch charts show luxury watches are on the decline while repossessions and foreclosures are up. The economy is moving downward. It’s better to be honest.
I still don't understand people paying twice the retail for a watch. Just wait for one from the AD and if it never comes, then you don't need that watch. The Daytona is not that special of a watch.
You will literally never get one from the AD, especially a Daytona.. To each their own I guess. Im also not a fan of the Daytona either
Do you understand people paying twice retail for a car?……a concert ticket?….. a games console?……..
More important question is have you/would you sell resell anything above retail to the people that you do not understand buying it? 😂
@elwynll not true. 5 months ago I bought a sea dweller from my local AD and my buddy got a daytona and datejust for his wife. If nobody is getting them, how are there so many for sale on the secondary market? Lol
@alfieakaronaldog nope. Because it's not me. I don't need it that bad. I understand supply and demand. I think it's stupid to pay over for cars too. People do it. More power to them.
Any customer base that's ok calling a five figure piece of wrist jewelry "Pikachu" is definitely dumb enough to pay for it.
Why does it feel so good to ignore this market as it continues to correct? Like smug faced levels of good.
When a very well known youtuber and Watch Collector like Producer Michael goes in to a Dealer and flips a Rolex he got from an AD you know the Market is about to crash.
no need to grey , don't trust them. ADs have more stuck than in 3 years.
