I wish people didn't undermine this win so much. Do you genuinely not understand how hard it is to sing and rap on a spinning platform, running and jumping, while also 100% being yourself at the risk of criticism? The onslaught of hate for Nemo was a lot during May and it was really sad to see. Nemo didn't do anything wrong, if anything, this is one of the most impressive winning performances, like, ever... a really great singer.

From the vocals to the performance, the skill and everything. Not a single moment wasted. All notes carried and maintained despite running around. Nemo's performance left me absolutely lost for words and was so happy they won, when I saw ppl getting angry I was so confused?? I get that everyone already picked their fave but, this was so well deserved ❤

Funnily, I remarked that the trophy looked very fragile and that I'd bet Nemo would break it the moment Nemo got handed it, and then left the room, and just a minute later my partner was laughing hysterically... pretty funny.
The fact that they could sing so well while also spinning and jumping and sliding around that contraption was really amazing. Didn't need any backup dancers. Really really impressive.
After 6 months I still watch this (best performance ever) frequently. Not to mention that I am a big Nemo fun now. They totally deserved the victory, let alone they are the sweetest and kindest person I've even met, which makes me even happier ❤
It cannot be understated just how good that was for being live. Nemo has got some serious stamina. Seriously not easy for any good singer to keep their vocal quality when moving around like that.
I have to admit this grew on me lol. I love the combination of opera (the "high brow" classical form of music with rap the supposedly "low brow" contemporary form).
I dont even watch Eurovision and i saw everyone hating this, now that i heard it i understand how it won, really beautiful, but i think the most constroversial thing about it is just the skirt actually.

One of the best vocals ever in Eurovision, absolutely deserved win. Nemo displayed complete technical mastery with his vocals and had an impressive and unique performance. This was a performance worthy of a global star. It should be no surprise that he won the jury by a landslide.
This was not my favourite but it’s an impeccable performance, they rap, sing opera, run and swirl around at the same time without even noticing their breathing.

Guys, this is an excellent performance. The singer is hitting the highest notes jumping on a rotating platform and could be perfectly on tune. The falsetto was used in a very clever way and the technic was out standing! Even if the song wasn't the best in the contest, Nemo made the best performance and deserved to win. Even if you don't agree you should stop sending hate to Nemo.

Any professional in the industry would tell you that this is by far the most technical and richest performance out of all the competitors. The jury is not mistaken here. Pitch mastery, vocal control and style technique (lyrical / opera, scat, pop), musical diversity with variations in rhythm, intensity, interesting harmony using tritones without a melodic fluency breach (at least for a pop song), original yet catchy melody (especially the refrain) which people can sing along. And that is ONLY the theoretical skills the song implies. The performer here does it with such a perfect mastery that it seems to be EASY. Not a single off-pitch note, perfect attack, intent, vibration, velocity, whatever the technique used (scat apart). Very fast tempo, meaning the vocal technique has to be flawless. Jumping, running, staying in equilibrium on a moving platform spinning on itself (he definitely is a dancer, he always manages to stay in front of the camera), without anytime seeming to be catching his breath or suffering a drawback from the intense performance. None of the other performances were at this level. As someone who works in the industry as well, I can tell you especially vocalists are all in awe. If all you have to say is about sexual orientation / gender / outfit, it also means that the performer made you forget how hard it is, and this is where you recognize mastery. Also, from a more social perspective, artistry is filled with people with a singularity who need to express how they feel and see the world, they are here to interrogate boundaries, whether it is to our preference or not. Therefore, lots of social outcasts or behavioral dissidents are in the artist world. So LGBTQIA+ people, who need their voices to be heard so that they can exist, are definitely going to be more represented in the artistry world. And that works with all minorities. I can tell you that in this industry, you are forced to be tolerant. Even if it sadly can be a door open for all kind of abuses on people as well.

I'm not a pro, but I have some kind of knowledge in modern music. Richness is what defines this song, you have a little of something, pop, hip hop, operish, and the rock attitude (for more information about rock attitude, check Maneskin 2021) but well mixed. A real intro, that get you in the mood, an little announcement of the chorus, then back to calm, rap, an epic bridge, then a majestic chorus.... everything is perfect. The brass section reminds me to a James Bond movie

I don't think people really realize how ABSOLUTELY INSANE Nemo's voice is and how INCREDIBLY HARD AND RISKY it is to pull this performance off. Croatia was very much like “Kaarija was succesful, Lets do something in that vibe”. Like don’t get me wrong, the song is very catchy and Marco is very funny and charming, but the live wasn’t the best and Honestly i got anxiety from the mess of a stage. I’m glad that this song won and I’m sure Baby lasagna found a new loyal audience through Eurovision. I also didn’t like the fact that croatian jury used the “tactical voting” and gave switzerland zero.
Fun Fact: 1987 Johnny Logan won Eurovision for second time. 1988 Switzerland won with Celine Dion. 2023 Loreen won Eurovision for second time. 2024 Switzerland won with Nemo. What a coincidence!
I didn’t know it was posible to buy a singer to represent the country. I thought it had to be native, I got a little disappointed with the non native rule
honestly, I think Nemo as a winner and Eurovision in Switzerland next year was the best chance of fixing this contest that we could've gotten. Let's hope their words when accepting the trophy can somehow, with a lot of work, hold true.

His vocals are undeniable, best singer in this contest in the past years (vocally). It's just the song that's a bit annoying but still - if this is like 100% live, there are no backtracks of his voice or choirs singing above his voice then jesus christ - he's doing almost acrobatics on the stage and his voice did not even miss a single tone.

The vocals are heavenly; the performance is cool, and this specific performance even had an old politician in my country raging about “the degradation of the Western society” in front of the whole council just because of the absolutely fire outfit. Loved it.

Yes, many other songs were also good this year but whether it fits your personal taste or not, Nemo‘s vocal performance was by far the most impressive and their stage performance one of the most innovative in recent years
for me it was Slimane...with Nemo i didn't get goosebumps, I didn't stop and listen with eyes wide open...for me it was Slimane...and I was really sad he got only 218 jury votes and Nemo huge 365 votes.
To be honest, this is the song that was completely destined to win Eurovision, the song that is mix of 3 music styles, the performance of the singer who could sing while running, dancing, doing literally intervals between some parts of the song is exceptional, and staging, so simplistic yet do exciting that no one has seen it on Eurovision yet. I was rooting for Croatia this year, but this is the song I would vote too. This song contest isn’t about the person, but about the song and how they could perform it on the stage and this is what you should remember 😉
My favorite was Baby Lasagna, followed by Némo and Slimane. I'm disappointed that the jury didn't give more points to Croatia, but I don't agree with those who think Némo is a bad performer - they don't realize how much work and talent his vocal and stage performance requires.

I learned 10 years singing( I had been sopran). In singing is banned to hear gasping or breathing. My teacher told me to almost not to breath.
He is hitting high notes and has good intonation, but this kind of screaming has nothing to do with opera singing.

Guys, this is an excellent performance. The singer is hitting the highest notes jumping on a rotating platform and could be perfectly on tune. The falsetto was used in a very clever way and the technic was out standing! Even if the song wasn't the best in the contest, Nemo made the best performance and deserved to win. Even if you don't agree you should stop sending hate to Nemo.

Any professional in the industry would tell you that this is by far the most technical and richest performance out of all the competitors.
The jury is not mistaken here.
Pitch mastery, vocal control and style technique (lyrical / opera, scat, pop), musical diversity with variations in rhythm, intensity, interesting harmony using tritones without a melodic fluency breach (at least for a pop song), original yet catchy melody (especially the refrain) which people can sing along. And that is ONLY the theoretical skills the song implies.
The performer here does it with such a perfect mastery that it seems to be EASY.
Not a single off-pitch note, perfect attack, intent, vibration, velocity, whatever the technique used (scat apart). Very fast tempo, meaning the vocal technique has to be flawless. Jumping, running, staying in equilibrium on a moving platform spinning on itself (he definitely is a dancer, he always manages to stay in front of the camera), without anytime seeming to be catching his breath or suffering a drawback from the intense performance.
None of the other performances were at this level. As someone who works in the industry as well, I can tell you especially vocalists are all in awe. If all you have to say is about sexual orientation / gender / outfit, it also means that the performer made you forget how hard it is, and this is where you recognize mastery.
Also, from a more social perspective, artistry is filled with people with a singularity who need to express how they feel and see the world, they are here to interrogate boundaries, whether it is to our preference or not. Therefore, lots of social outcasts or behavioral dissidents are in the artist world. So LGBTQIA+ people, who need their voices to be heard so that they can exist, are definitely going to be more represented in the artistry world. And that works with all minorities. I can tell you that in this industry, you are forced to be tolerant. Even if it sadly can be a door open for all kind of abuses on people as well.

I'm not a pro, but I have some kind of knowledge in modern music. Richness is what defines this song, you have a little of something, pop, hip hop, operish, and the rock attitude (for more information about rock attitude, check Maneskin 2021) but well mixed. A real intro, that get you in the mood, an little announcement of the chorus, then back to calm, rap, an epic bridge, then a majestic chorus.... everything is perfect. The brass section reminds me to a James Bond movie
The Code is like a modern Rapsodia Bohemia with opera, pop and even rap.

It's just the song that's a bit annoying but still - if this is like 100% live, there are no backtracks of his voice or choirs singing above his voice then jesus christ - he's doing almost acrobatics on the stage and his voice did not even miss a single tone.
