@@jeffreydao4696 Fun story, that's my friends and I scrambling to move out of the way of Matty's disc. We hadn't seen anything come within 200ft of the basket so assumed we were fine to watch up the fairway. Boy were we wrong!🙃
I've been playing for almost 20 years and I can count all the times on one hand where I threw a disc that carried 300' in air. I watch these pros and it looks like they put so little effort into their throws as far as going up there and ripping it, and they get insane distance. I'm running up there trying to launch the piss out of it and I barely can throw 250-270 feet lol.
Kings throw on 17 elver @0:47 is so insane. The camera does not do justice to how harsh that middle tree is and angle you need to hit from the box. I've been playing there almost 20 years and can tell you that does not happen often
The shot youre missing is Calvins 2nd drive on 18 at Smugglers Knotch during skins. He drives the green in one which is absolutely unreal if youve ever stood on that teebox. I go rewatch that every few months
Seriously great compilation. I'd put Joel Friedman's slammer down the mountain right before Matty's saucy boomer in the woods at the end. Those two take the cake for me. Could watch them all day
Played there. The way that thing kept pushing up the hill is just insane. Even the slightest error on your angle on that shot and the landing is way way off line as well even if you have the arm to get there, which few do.
Everyone needs to stop what they're doing and watch Anthony Barela's last throw from him winning AM. Works in 2015 at the age of 15. No 1 most insane drive I've seen. Discgolfguy's channel
i live in llano texas and i just started playing with my buddy who played alot in tyler tx and other places, but llano course isnt the greatest, burnet course in the haley nelson park is decent
This is the same Arizona keeps sticking his Insanely head. He mentioned type of discs and comes back saying OK I won't. He's an Arizona a reporter. What he says that is funny. His name is Dan forth ECt...
Ya, it's called disc GOLF because it's nothing like regular golf. You probably aren't coordinated enough to play it. Stick to the internet where you can seem like a real man.
You'd be surprised man, it's actually super addictive, and this is coming from someone who plays traditional golf as well. It's affordable to play, you meet a ton of laid back and cool people, it's pretty good exercise, and it gets people out of the house. I remember having similar feelings about it before I actually tried it, some friends talked me into giving it a shot about 20 years ago. I planned on playing one time and that being the end of it. 20 years later and I'm still playing, usually 4 or 5 rounds a week. I can definitely say that it's much more fun to play than watch, although I do enjoy watching the pros make amazing shots such as these.
Thanks For Watching! Like and SUBSCRIBE!! ☝☝
How about you call these throws and not drives lol disk golf is the dumbest thing to ever be called a sport
You have chosen wisely. That Matty O drive was insane to watch. It's hard to believe that hole is that long and he made it look effortless
Yea and if you ever play Brewster and see how tight, narrow, AND downhill the fairway is…it’s absolutely crazy to see how he made it all the way down

Matty O is seriously unreal sometimes!
1:45 "How gently it nestles on the pole" HAHAHA
When the disc hits the base of the basket, a shower of confetti should shoot up :)
Matty O shot with no run-up! Unbelievable!!
That last matty o shot is in my top five drives all time.
That shot lives in my head rent free
Incredible disc work here!!Talk about threading the needle!! 🔥🔥🔥
Matty O had the two that got me most excited. Love that guy
if you pause at 4:48 you see all guys in disbelief. Love it
Absolutely Insane, some of these shots
5:03 is at one of my local courses and that shot is INSANE to do, Paul is a beast
What KC course is this?
@@neo5047 Wyandotte
This was sooooooooo fun to watch. 👍
Hey @Disc Golf Content love your stuff. What's that bopper of a beat at the end?
Thanks! The song is called ragtime.
I still think about that drive of Joel's often. Epic
These are so cool to watch, just insane.
I once threw it 300ft. Sure it was downhill and with a 50mph tailwind but it counts lmao
Sick shot bro
nice one man. i shanked one so bad that i got a black ace in a basket behind a 40' tall bush

My thoight on the last one: "If it were me, I would've hit a tree" 😂
Crazy good

Just started watching. Matty O's crazy drive has to be on here.
@ 3:23 Such a shame this hole no longer exists.. 😪
3:06 One day I hope to be able to imitate even a fraction of Ricky's podracer shot 🥶
🤣🤣now this is podracing!

MATTY O! Hound Dog go BOOM!
The only sport where drunks, stoners, nerds, and jocks coincide
I dunno man, I see a similar melting pot of stereotypes at my local bowling alley on league night 😂
That tomahawk in Waco was insane

Anthony Barella is the embodiment of the phrase “dynamite comes in small packages.”
Guy has an absolute cannon.
He's like 6'5"...
Last shot was the most impressive
Those are like optical illusions. Saw a few of them live.
“That’s parked… for Eagle??” Love how the commentator is still in disbelief
These are larger crowds than most LPGA games I've been to. I need to check out a DGA game.
What is the song you use at the end of the video?
Matty OOOOOOOO!
hey what's the song at the end?
look at Melton's face at 4:30 lol even the jomez guy has his mouth a little wide open
Very beginner frolfer here, and my only takeaway in that one of the broadcasters sound like John Krasinkski
Joel Freeman putting that much turn on a disc at 8000ft is absurd to me. Also, RIP Bailey DCG
Wait, Matty-O parked a 190 m par 4 wooden flex tunnel shot in one? That's ridiculous
I stand at hole 7 maple Hill every time I go just to look at it. That's the most insane technical drive

forgot the 700+ ft parkjob by eagle
yep, I was expecting to see that one as well
Matty O. Is so smooth. Sneaky far
mattyo going around the phone pole
That's not a drive, it's a freaking frisbee. OMG, LOL, this generation is unreal.
I got a rc version
I’m I the only one who thought freeman was wearing scrubs at first glance
RIP framerate
So the second clip I thought that was a guy with a horse head mask but it was just the camera man. I should sleep but I'll watch the rest.
Great to know that this is not achieved after 300 takes neither faked using CGI.
Or is it ?!... 😎
Did they say it was a roadrunner he threw?
Yummy
Why do disc golf players always do that weird follow through with their left arm after a drive?
This is the same Arizona keeps sticking his Insanely head. He mentioned type of discs and comes back saying OK I won't. He's an Arizona a reporter. What he says that is funny. His name is Dan forth ECt...
The living embodiment of sarcastaball.
6:18 Obviously reversed. So fake
Nice shots but can we get better quality cameras???? This blur shots are trash.
Matty O doing heart surgery out there
And in this episode of the whitest kids I know
These camera people need to be less intrusive on the fairway.
Always a complainer in the bunch.
@@waynebryant1857 Same ones that complain about the camera angles or the cell coverage.
I’m glad the non athletic folk have a sport now.
throwing a frisbee is called a drive? like in the actual sport of golf... so glad ive never heard of this hobby
🤣 check it out, you may like it 🤷♂️

Good ol’ $10 million hobby for Paul McBeth
