This video was put together mainly for newcomers to the sport to learn and enjoy some of the great moments and achievements in disc golf. Still gives goose bumps and lots of emotion after all this time. Post production was right after the tournament, that was genuine emotion cause it was still fresh!

I've seen the "Chain Holes" (not sure what they are officially called sorry) around our metro park and never knew for what. I just stumbled across this video and know now. Thank you. I and also now intrigued enough my wife and I are going to try playing this next weekend. We only have frisbees but they will have to work. Thank you.
Go for it! It's what we played with way back when this sport first started. I still carry a Zephyr in my bag and used it today. Welcome to the family.
Hope you had a great time! If you plan to take it serious though you’ll at least need a driver and putter disc. Slowly move into finding what weight you like and go for a mid range disc. Hope this helps! Enjoy the disc golf journey addiction ;)

The Waco -18 was definitely not as good as the DGLO one, and Paul Mcbeth is on record saying the same thing
Just that putt alone on 18 was incredible, up hill 60 footer and just knowing what it means and then step up and nail it. Amazing

shout outs to Ricky's tournament-winning putt on 18 during the 2016 masters against Paul. Always gives me goosebumps.

very very`sad that it was not on the list, a top 3 moment for sure.
The origin of raptor legs I believe (or at least when it became a big thing). And also when Ricky took “momentum” from Paul and 2016-17 became Ricky’s years.
Also one of the first (if not the first) disc golf tournament I watched fully through.
I've probably seen the Holy Shot 200 times since worlds but I still get emotional when I see. It truly couldn't have happened to a better person. Now it's Sexton's turn.
I saw philo’s shot when it first happened before I had any idea what disc golf was and for all the years since then and when I started playing disc golf I had always thought it was a fever dream until I saw it again recently
I just wanna say how awesome your compilations are! Consistently entertaining and educational (particularly on this one with some of the classics that many new players may not have ever seen or heard of).

That was probably your best top 10 video to date. Kevin's ace on 16, for some reason that looked like a nasty spill like he broke his leg or something. It's got to be up there as one of the best ace videos out there. Has anyone or how often does 16 get aced

Philos albatross is so much more historic. Regardless it was harder anyways requiring a blind flex shot that I think was slightly further.
the reason why it wasnt is because it really wasnt that important of a shot, it didnt help him win or anything like that. It was just a one of the greatest shots ever for a long time

@@crabtime2116 Exactly. It's like Wilt Chamberlain scoring 100 points in a basketball game back in the 60s/70s. That can't be done now because there is way more competition. Winning 12 worlds back then is probably the equivalent to winning 3 or 4 now. Still very impressive of course

Climo is the greatest of all time, I think. You can't deny McBeth is a very close second, but Climo is the man. The dude was a freak of nature.
Paul is definitely the GOAT, and it’s not even close. The level of competition now compared to when Ken played is insanely more difficult to win. There was basically 4 players playing against each other back then….and those guys wouldn’t stand a chance on tour today. Yet Paul continues to win consistently. He’s solidified his position as the best to ever play.

You should’ve used the disc golf networks footage for James’s shot, that was raw footage and in the jomez coverage they already knew what happened and were acting
Actually, the World's lead card final round was commentated live by Jomez. It was one of the only cards they ever filmed live.

@@colinmcmasters5819 No. I was there. I talked briefly with Jeremy after the tournament and before they had a chance to do their version. He was wondering how he was going to put his thoughts together to do commentary on such an incredible moment. He also was looking at the distance and wanted to get the distance right. We were standing near the spot James threw it from when Jeremy was talking about this.
@@colinmcmasters5819 You can see both of the commentators in the crowd watching that shot. Hard to be in the commentary booth and on the course at the same time.

Things have sure progressed since I played "Frisbee golf" as a teen in the 70s. It's nice to see the sport gain in stature and talent. I'd rather see this in the Summer Olympics than crap like synchronized swimming and speed-walking 🤣
