The music and course previews make me feel like I'm watching a relaxed game of Wii Sports golf.
It really added to the video's "watchability". Great round by McBeth!
I was thinking the same thing
@Lampree I was thinking the exact same thing!
Legit, before i saw this comment i was going to say the music sounds like it was from a disc golf video game if there ever was one :D
it soothes the mind & soul ....
I've never watched disc golf before but I couldn't stop watching this round!
Go play! Almost certainly a course near you, many are free. Discs can be gotten for cheap at places like Play It Again Sports or Dicks. Best sport for people to get in to because the community is so unique, you get to be outside, and you stay active.
You think it was cool watching? Go play! Best time ever and usually really cool people out on the course
Jason White Paul Macbeth did it again, check it out.
Hope you’re playing now by the way
Been playing casually since 1996. Still can not throw like these guys! Go play Jason. Good fun, and good exercise!
@@tmartin555 many near me? There is not a single course for this sport in My whole country. I Honestly think iam the first one here to Even know this exists.
Yo that production is straight fuego
Juan Bolanos perfect example of what happens when a younger generation controls an industry and actually uses technology to its potential, rather than some depressed guy who has been editing for Fox News for 30 years
20 minutes ago I was learning how to build a wooden chair and now I'm watching this.
Gotta love youtube
I hate it. It steals my life.
Build a wooden basket and disc and then you're doing something
La petite goodbuy. Yes sir. Good
Tim Ogden 10/10 great idea

Everyday is putt-day
Mcbeast is the best disc golfer ever, really humble guy and I’m glad I got to meet him after he won!
agreed
He got a long way to go though before he reaches Clemo status but he is currently the best
@@Toni-hj2xd Cemo played during a time when disc golf was nothing ..Paul is playing in a time when it's a athlete driven sport not a bunch of stoners throwing frisbees at trees..........Paul is the G O A T......
Wrong brother they have better equipment better sponsor clemos time was much much more difficult just the disc alone and Soo much Macbeth good but not on that level of consistency yet a few more championships tho he has potential to be the best but gotta keep it up for at least 7 more years to be in the same conversation as the true goat
Mcbeth is a simp.
Being there live, you could really get a sense of how focussed and dialed in he gets. There were times that the crowd was literally right on top of the teepad, and it didn't faze him at all. Michigan loves McBeast.

I laughed way too much at that
Lmaoooo that was great
ty
Explain it to me like I was five years old.
I think what really makes this round so great was his putting. absolute clinic with many long putts.
I come back and watch this every year. It’s just an absolute master class performance
This "chains" sound is the most satisfying in any sport!
yep.. nothing like it out there.. when you hit em solid.. something about it :P
@@ihaveabacpac pure an iron, it’ll change your life
Raiders baseball home runs, yes.
Yeah the crack of the bat plus the feeling knowing you just crushed it immediately before seeing where it’s going might rival it ;)
Just had my second ever disco golf round. 18 holes and I use 100 throws. Heard it was one of the worst rounds ever played.
It's a very tricky sport. Keep practicing and figuring out how your throw flies.you'll get better👍
Keep at it... I've seen... and played worse rounds than that lol
You haven't seen me throw then🤣
LOL
kanervatie I’m really bad, but I love and admire the sport. It’s more of a hobby and it’s very therapeutic
I originally saw this video not too long after it came out while I was just bored and surfing RUclips. I’d never watched any disc golf before in my life. Now, I love to play disc golf whenever I can and I watch Jomez’s coverage of every tournament. Thank you Jomez for introducing me to such a great sport!
This has got to be like the 6th time I’ve watched this video. Immaculate vibes
I started off watching this, thinking it's a parody. Watching 5 minutes later, a second tab open with the rules and wondering about professionals' salaries...Here I am 20 minutes into the video.
Its cheap to play there are courses everywhere and its tons of fun.
lmao disc golf is really addicting i dont even play it that much but some videos are so fun to watch
i recommend champs vs chumps series
Bradley Akulov you should give the game a try. It’s free to play most everywhere, a good disc is only $10, and the more you play the more it becomes like golf.
It's like golf, only with less environmental damage and fewer assholes.
@Craig Laycox 99.99% of ball golf and disc golfers will never earn a dime playing! But yeah at the top end it's not in the same universe of money earnings
OLD SCHOOL JOMEZ MUSIC WAS GOATED
THE NEW STUFF NOW IS A LIL OFF!
I don't know how this got onto my recommended feed, but this is some high quality content here. Much respect dude!
Nerves of Steel on that put on 18. Well done Paul you are something else.

So special to get a peek inside the mind of a GOAT, someone who (for a time) consistently did something better than anyone else on the planet. Probably one of the best disc golf videos ever.
love how stoked the other players on the card were for him. what a great moment
I can say, I watched Paul's record breaking round right after it happened on Jomez... its as close to being there as most of us could get. Well done Paul, this one is history, no one can take this away from you.
Javaman92 I was actually there! stood right behind him as he made the final putt
WOW! I'm glad for you. I got to see him and others at the Pittsburgh Flying Open last year, it was worth the drive and I had hoped they would be back this year.
thanks! this was an amazing experience. I'd gander that these were close to the largest crowds ever in the United States. I'm from Michigan, and I've played this course a couple times (shot a -6, which is 1000 rated, and considered a quality round) so seeing Paul just eat it alive was VERY humbling. The atmosphere and the buzz from the crowd was amazing. Once we started to realize what he was doing, we thought we might actually be seeing the highest rated round ever, and when we saw reactions from the outside world calling it the greatest round ever, it really started to sink in what I just witnessed. Unrelated, I also watched the Memorial in person earlier this year. Also an unforgettable experience. EVERYONE was there playing, and Phoenix is just an amazingly breathtaking city. Fountain Hills isn't a masterpiece from a technical perspective like Toboggan is, but that course is just really special.
Almost a year and a half later and I'm STILL in awe! Love this video, Jomez!
"Shooting the course record at 11 under"
Paul: that's cute
Outstanding video of the history-making 18-under round by Paul McBeth. Thanks to Jomez and Paul for taking the time to make this very special video. What a competitor and champion. And so great to hear Paul himself talking us through his round. AWESOME to watch.
Still to this day coming back 2 times a year for the music end greatness
this is chill to watch these two guys have a relaxed vibe
I’ll watch this again, sure
I mean I GUESS...
Brian McNay try out hockey. It’s a lot better. Just a suggestion tho
Father-in-law, who takes vacation in Scotland to play ball golf, mentioned this accomplishment to me and was flabbergasted by it. He now knows a disc golfers name, other than mine (assuming he can remember mine). Thanks Paul :)
hahaha ball golf. get a life dude.
Cameron McHutchison, I appreciate your observant and constructive comment. I did use the word ‘ball’...who’s a good boy? Is it you? ::scratches Cameron behind the ears:: good boy!! Now...fetch!
Thanks Jomez, Big Jerm, and Paul for doing this. Third time I've seen it, but worth it with Paul's reflections. Definitely best round of all time. Great putts throughout the round, but damn, capping it off with that 60-footer on 18, with all the pressure! Incredible.
18 was wild.
We love you Paul and we are so proud of you. You made it to ESPN!
I have never played Frisbee golf and have no idé why I'm watching this but I like it!
Disc golf.
Don’t say frisbee golf at a course. A mob will chase you out of there.
no idea what this is, first time watching this, but still finished watching every second of this
@@JesseJ588 yes second to baseball of course
Yeeeeess. I love it all. The highlights. The commentary. The coverage. This is why I love this sport.
Thanks for the special recap with Paul taking us through it!
I don't know how I got here but I'm glad I did. As a huge sports fan, this is interesting to watch as I never got into disc golf. I did go play with my sister once but didn't really care much as I was like 8 or something.
Unreal. That was so pure. Every single shot he took was so calculated and on point. I have had maybe one round in my life that I didn’t throw something ob, on a really bad line, or just a flat out mulligan toss and that was for -1 or par even. -18?? What?? It also makes it so much more difficult with these distances and fairways, inclines, low ceilings, huge hooks, etc. Very impressive.
I'm not sure why this was in my recommendations, but I'm glad it was.
Paul makes it look so easy. I have been playing on and off for about 2 years and cannot get even half the distance he does effortlessly--not to even mention the accuracy. It is a fun sport though and I have nothing but respect for the guys and gals that can make those discs fly where they want them to.
Awesome idea getting Paul’s commentary....those putts were so epic!
So ridiculous. Always worth a rewatch.
Awesome to hear Paul’s thoughts on it. More stoked to have watched it in person. Thanks Jomez, Paul and Jerm for doing this. Great to watch it yet again!
Cant believe he banged that putt on 18 damn son! I've watched this round 10 times congrats Paul !!!
18 was incredible!!!!!
Ayy, alright. I'll watch this round again. :)
And again...
@@thedarkcranberry and again
This vid is hard not to watch. Excellent production. Mcbeth is a unit.
This never gets old. Thank you Jomez and everyone involved in such a quality production!
Wow. That last putt, cold blooded man!
As a golfer, I loved watching every bit of this round and hope to draw from the constant focus - "didn't take a moment off". Much to learn from you! Cheers and thanks from Oz - Dave
i hope you mean real golf
@@cammch1 I guess that depends on your perspective. For me, "real golf" is golf played with sticks and a ball. In that case, yes - I meant "real golf". :-)
Being an Australian working in Canada some years ago, I used to wind up the Canadians by talking about "ice hockey", which they refer to as "hockey". We are a big "hockey" nation (ie. the grass variety) and I always enjoyed the ensuing debates! Cheers from Sydney and keep safe! Dave
Man.. I watched the live coverage of this which is weird because I normally don’t. Just threw it on and was planning to only watch the front 9 but it became way too entertaining to stop watching. Congrats again to Paul on a historic round. That putter was leaving a trail of flames behind it. So many great shots and putts... truly inspiring
Same here, I rarely watch live but am sure glad I happened to throw this on that day! I literally jumped out of my seat on the last putt.
To chain that 60' to 70' ft putt on 18 to go 18 deep in front of a big gallery is just beyond clutch! This dude is so next level!
So awesome getting to hear from Paul exactly what was going through his mind, thanks you guys for making this happen!
This round was ALMOST perfect in every way.
Jomez production.
Paul McBeth ripping it up.
We just need Big Sexy on the mic.
THAT would have been ultimate perfection.
All in all, might be the significantly most important round ever for the sport.
Thank you Jomez and thank you Paul!
Thanks Jomez! ...awesome to watch this round (again) in full length, with BigBeast commentary. Congrats Paul McBeth! Truly inspiring...
I like to watch this video in its entirety multiple times a year. So historic
I wasnt even aware this existed until today.
So happy I got to see this first hand, what a great day!
I will never not get chills watching that putt on 18.
THANK YOU Paul FOR GETTING THIS SPORT EVEN MORE ATTENTION WITH YOUR AMAZINGNESS
Damn, Jomez always has the best production for real. Gongrats to Paul, what an epic guy, when they show the players pictures, Paul's look like he's starring in a action movie about saving the world with The Rock. And as always, great commentary by Big Jerm.
One night I came home from work late, not feeling great, and watched a random recommended video of JomezPro. This Disc Golf stuff is SO relaxing to watch and now I'm addicted.
Have you played? The community is great, its cheap and a great way to spend your time outdoors.
Still shivers down the spine after watching this round for a third time. Amazing! #mcbeast
never even knew this existed - I want to play!
maximada2003 it's not that great, that's why there's only 20 people watching it in person
Don’t listen to Tokyo Douche.
It’s actually a ton of fun and doesn’t kill your wallet like regular golf.
@@ATXrollerblader its gay like you and your dad
I was hesitant to watch disc golf on RUclips but the production quality I’ve found from JoMez is top notch. It’s difficult to find a style that works in a sport where the winning formula hasn’t been established. It’s been nailed by JoMez with disc golf. Congrats
Played for the first time yesterday and had a blast

I’m so happy Paul was on the lead card for this. Imagine Jomez not catching this historic round!
"I mean that kinda describes it, when you're 3 down through 2 you're kinda on a roll"
Thanks Jomez. Amazing to watch Paul, just- Wow!
Paul McBeth is truly a freak of nature! Love his style of golf, absolutely inspiring for a disc golfer like myself. Congrats McBeth!
You gotta love moments like this! Incredible round
This round is still so legendary. When someone makes the game look this easy it is just so fun to watch. IMO the best round of all time on film.
Didn't even know this was a thing :O Loved watching it.
This round is still amazing to watch after multiple viewings. Only better with Paul commenting on it.
I sold all my discs after watching this live :P
Jerm was so caught off guard by Paul's on a roll pun on hole 3 lmao
Pure genius - thank you Jomez for being there, Big Jerm for the commentary, and of course Paul McBeth for the inspirational round.
Thank you for putting this together! This is exactly what i was dreaming of. McJerm comentary goes hard!
MrShaggy4205 JermBeastie!
Lol, "putting" this together ;)
I've watched this at least 20 times. Never gets old. What a round.
Congrats Paul, what an awesome round!!
Lucky enough to follow his card around on day one. If only I had been there to witness the Mcbeast on day two. 🐐
Oh, this is cool! Thanks Jomez!
Great job cutting this round. Big Jerm did a great job talking with Paul. A lot of good insight into the head of a champion.
Paul McBeth straight flexin with the shoulder bag putt
Saw his other -18 round before I saw this one... Feels like this one was even more emotional and dialed
rounds like this one are what put a bigger spotlight on our sport...thank you, paul...you're the man...
I really wish the golf community was as laid back and cool as disk golf. Kids rolling down the hill on the preview was hilarious.
So awesome! Congrats Paul and thank you to Jomez for capturing history!
This was awesome to watch again
The creativity you can have with your shots in disc golf is really cool
Watching your shot glide 300+ ft is mesmerizing!
Good vibes all throughout the series. Great commentary!
Absolutely love this video. Amazing questions and commentary, would love to see more of these one on one type videos.
Oh man. It was great to watch it and it was even better to hear Paul describe the journey. Thank you Jomez!
Awesome!! Thank you Jomez Pro and Big Jerm. And a special thanks to Paul McBeth.

Best thing about Coronavirus so far - what a suggestion by RUclips.
Jomez bringing quality content once again. Thanks!
I watched the last nine holes as this was broadcast live, and I was just gobsmacked by Paul's precision in slicing and dicing this course. It was brilliant.
Well done, sir!
Wow what a legend this guy is! I've only just started playing and I'm loving it! This, however, is next-level stuff!!!
Wow... Mind blown, that was hot! Great shooting Paul!
What a game guyz...Paul U R The Best, it's always a pleasure to watch you play and make history of disc golf!!!!!!!
Unreal. This guy is a machine. Those putts are so much harder than he makes them look.
