I feel the immune person would be a complete dumbass if a zombie outbreak happened irl. He would probably donate his blood, then somehow start another outbreak and he wouldn't be immune and everyone would die.
I would do that on purpose.
@@sloppyjoe29 I'm pretty sure if you are a carrier, you cannot be un-immune to a disease you started. Also not everyone would definitely die since people with O Neg blood would be immune.

Riptide was a downgrade, it had less features that the first and no improvements graphics wise (and I player the first one on the 360 and Riptide maxed out on pc), and then the game got killed by dying light, it's sad because it was one of the few games besides cod and halo that my younger retarded self could keep playing till the end

The game wasn’t perfect but when playing with friends the game was really fun. The crafting, missions, leveling up, variants in locations and good mechanics, the different characters were all fun together. It wasn’t a 10/10 but it wasn’t bad either.
I know right? I let myself sink into the story and look at it from the in game characters eyes, it would honestly be terrifying to wake up after a drunk night and realize that almost the entire island resort paradise turned into bloody chaos a and killing.The biggest issue I really had was probably that item physics were dumb, and that character designs and personalities are sorta meh

Eventhough I played the game I never figured out exactly HOW it spreads in the first place. The Knight himself is constantly in close contact with enemies who are infected with it and also the gas globules that contain the stuff but he himself is never affected whereas other NPCs can, in fact, be infected through unknown means.
@@DemBigOlEyes Well it only affects things with a soul. Which the Vessel (the main character) does not have. They are simply an empty vessel for the Void. And the source of the infection is a forgotten goddess of the extinct Moth race known as The Radiance. The Vessel is artificially created;so unlike the normal bugs they have no chance of becoming infected. The infection corrupts the body and mind,connecting the hosts to the hive mind of The Radiance. Where uninfected bugs would bleed white souls when struck,the infected only bleed the orange ichor filling them.

i went into dead island 1 completely blind (pirated it on a whim lmao) so maybe i wasnt let down by overblown marketing. it was a fun playthrough. dying light completely blows it out the water though. so much better.

I would say I would die purely because of Butchers. Those thing spook me so hard. As long as you have ammo it's a breeze but if you aren't like the main 4 you are done.

Captain Neon yea if you have the right supplies, then you can handle a couple of the OD and scabs. But with the special variants that might make it harder to survive not to mention the Fizco robots
I do also got to say, the Butchers are really underused for how amazing their design is
Espically in Riptide where VERY FEW of them acutally show up in whole of the game
Some show up, but so few compared to Dead Island, where you could acutally have random encounters with them in the later sections of the game (Jungle and Lab)

Considering how much Kuru was so easily contracted I'm surprised the tribe didn't wipe themselves out by how they were so hostile to others, unless the tribe immediately killed those infected or had them in a special area so they can't hurt others during the beginning stages of infection.

I mean according to the game the only way of getting infected was getting bit which is pretty easy to prevent. Just keep to yourself in a safe and out of sight place. Im also an O- negative blood type loo
I loved Dead Island, I have played through it multiple times, even getting the Definitive editions, but I hated when Yeager took over and fucked up the whole series.
Im hoping Dead Island 2 turns out good, I really do.

In game there's a test that can distinguish between fake Dead and really dead. If you go into the throw weapon mode thing the crosshair will lock on to a fake Dead but not a real Dead one.
Tbh, Infected are the scariest zombie in Dead Island for me, cos they're fast af + chase you forever. And also, their screams are freakin terrifying.
The qurantine area in the city, where theres a endless amount of them is horrifying.
Could you cover why humanity wouldn’t survive a Covenant Invasion. Specifically the Covenant from Halo. There’s quite a few way for you to die to a Covenant Armada.

I love the lore of Dead Island mainly due to being Aussie. We have a long history of giving aid to PNG so there's a lot of info around here about their Kuru, AIDS, and other health crises.
Makes playing Dead Island so much more satisfying.

I didn’t know that dead island used a prion for infection. I have SOOOO much more respect and love for this game now. They discovered it first lads, their “virus” is possibly the most realistic one(outside of 28 days later) to exist. If I’m wrong I probably forgot or haven’t heard of the movie/show so please remind me or tell me.
And note, I meant that the normal infected and walkers are accurate, any other mutated zombies you can just chuck out the window

I'm glad to be able to watch this. I just started playing this game on single-player, I just recently installed it and so far, the zombies are pretty hard to kill and knowing that they have more zombies that are special, that makes it more challenging. I guess this is better to play at multiplayer.
Another plus to my blood type: immune to a fictitious zombie virus.

Something I noticed when I played the Dead Island games: Zombies can't open doors, or even break in. I know that's unrealistic, but that's in the game lol.
In cut scenes we see zombies break or attempt to break down door and shit in the games it just not in gameplay

The ram actually can't break through doors, it was a tactic towards the end to let them go through a door and close it behind them
We're talking lore and realistic wise we even have a cut scene Where it does break down a door with closed metal shutters

I find the O- blood donating kind of scary but then I sorta realised they test your blood before letting you donate. So that killed the intensity.
I have played a lot of zombie games, nothing fazes me and yet the butcher terrifies me, the scream, the charging towards you, the messed up face, the stance, the flurry attack, jeez...

This one seems to be about knowing and keeping your distance. My only issue with a survival plan would be, are they coordinated and or smart enough to attack beams of an elevated shelter with out being baited or provoked

13:18 - Dr. West specifically says that the survivors (O- blood type, which I am too so I guess I'll be fine) are special since the virus doesn't seem to affect them at all, no symptoms, no reproduction, it simply dies.
"It simply dies", we are In fact immune, killing the pathogen and not carrying it.
Altough if someone here knows more about this, I'm happy to listen.
In riptide it got retcon after in the main story you met a scientist who specializes with virus and was well versed with Kuru wanted to test your blood off a hunch but being confident that you are immune and then confirm that you are immune but it doesn't kill the virus it just stops it from multiplying in your body and suppresses all the symptoms and act as the Canonical reason for the main player characters fury modes

I love how, in this game, being a former NFL player means you are automatically good at throwing a wakizashi and machete a couple dozen meters so they strike the zombie tip 1st everytime.
But, goddamn, was he fun as all hell to play. Also, I wish Dying Light had the melee controls from this game. They were awesome!

Just to add a bit onto Zach's information about the thug's lethality, while yes it would likely be able to knock you away when they hit you with half the strength of a tank however unlike the tank the thug's limbs can be removed or in the case of blunt weapons be rendered broken with some precision attacks to their arms knocking the thug's lethality down to where all it will have left is just its teeth to bite you with, yes the thugs can still bite you if their arms are cut off or the bones are broken so even though its main lethality boost is gone that doesn't mean its a pushover.
Yeah, it's disappointing how gripping dead island's trailers were in comparison to actual the games.

They are easy to kill for anyone in any Warframe. The fun in the video would be assuming you have to survive the infestation without a suit
@@Flipindabird23 That's what i meant. When talking about all those apocalypses, WSG doesn't put you in the main character's shoes,you're always just your average person. Considering how fast the Infestation spreads,that it can reach from Relay to Relay,and that there's no cure,it would make survival pretty hard.
The Sentient Invasion coming out on Christmas,"The New War" quest,would also make an interesting scenario for survival,considering all sentients become immune to a type of damage quickly,and are more powerful than any faction ingame.
Spoilers:Frames are not suits,and unless you were part of the void expedition,and became a tenno,you can't control them ;P

Your chances of getting infected are the same whether you're immune or not. So in the long run being a carrier would be more likely to kill you, creating zombies for the rest of your life, on or off the island.
