Im hesitant to agree cause the end of his lore heavily implies the Entity has manipulated his vision to only see survivors as those who wronged him so he'd probably go for the kill as he doesnt see us as ordinary bounty or regular people.

Well its different at lower and even mid ranks, survivours go down like flies, every game i die with 4 or 3 generators left. This game needs some learning curve mode cause most lower to mid rank survivours dont know what looping and chase is.

So dbd is literally a closed time loop (has no origin or end). Theoretically your fucked if ur in a closed time loop but I've seen films where protagonists somehow ignore the rules of science and break out of the loop?
As shown in her lore and Tome Lore, yes. Kate ESCAPED for real from the Entity's Realm... but not for long. Her escape also showed that escaping the Entity's Realm results in memory loss

In any case as the video above states the entity does assist some killers like barring the exit or blocking windows. In the endgame portion there is a timer when depleted the entity traps the "survivor" then takes his/her soul. As I'd typed this out I realised that I answered your question from bottom to top.

I like to believe that the entity provides survivors with enough knowledge, stamina, and durability to be able to be tortured for so much longer. Let’s be real here, i doubt an athletic child would be able to repair a generator, or an office plankton (sorry Dwight) treating injuries from giant, murderous weapons, or a tv star to run for hours on end. People taking hooks to the body THREE times at max? Good. Holding back an eldritch monstrosity god with just your bare hands? Possible! And then being respawned over and over again..? Sure, the scenario is bleak and painful, but then the entity gave all of the survivors the abilities to see auras, learn others’ skills, adapt and survive. The entity is more biased toward killers, and yet.. Survivors have a chance. And sometimes, a chance is all you need.
They have no chance. The Entity only wants their suffering and to destroy their hope. Each death makes you come back to that same place. The campfire. The Entity wants it to be like that. The exit? The maps? Creations of the Entity. By killing you, It takes your hope away. And when you lose all hope and your will to live, you become a killer. Surviving only slows down the time it takes for the survivor to become a killer. Atleast from what I remember its something like that
@@_nainportequoi_7032 no. The Entity doesn't turn hopeless Surviviors into killers. It has a pocket in space where it damns all Surviviors who lose hope for it to feed on. It's a void where it throws the empty husk of the Surviviors. What I think is interesting is that the Entity actively makes sure Surviviors don't stray far from the constraints it has placed on them. Yet if there truly wasn't hope for escape, why would it care. Plus I don't think the Entity has complete control over its own world, since Vigo allegedly has a workshop in the realm of the entity, and he created the black lock (the hatch).
The entity only wants the survivors hope so it uses the killers to get that hope from them each death is sanity and hope slowly slipping away the killers were people with well murderous intentions so the entity took them trained them to hook survivors to sacrifice them the entity is a powerful god unable to be killed and unable to kill them so that’s my theory that the fates are not decided by the survivors but the entity the outcome of their actions are not their own

Apparently in the lore Michael Myers is hinted to be the only killer that seems to be capable of disobeying the entity as he's the only killer capable of killing survivors without sacrificing anyone to the entity. Edit: Holy shit thanks for all the likes. Just wanted to clarify that I mean Myers is the only character that could kill all 4 survivors without any hooks needed. Memento Moris and Devour hope need survivors to be hooked and Rancor while it doesn't need a hook still needs the entity's game to progress before a survivor can be killed. These are perks that are like the entity throwing the killer a bone for their efforts while Myers can just take that bone with the right add-ons even if no one has been hit once.

Those who’s minds had gone into insanity and rage in life end up gaining supernatural powers as killers in the Entity’s realm (such as Wraith, Nurse, Spirit, Oni, etc.). Those who were simply evil sadistic people in life end up just becoming more powerful in the fog (such as Trapper, Hillbilly, Doctor, Legion, etc.). When being absorbed by the fog into the realm of the Entity, their physical state ends up resembling their mental state.
Technically, you WOULD survive Dead by daylight When you “die” in the entity’s realm you don’t “die” your life force just weakens So you would just get weaker and weaker until you get to the point where you can’t move So yes, you would survive the dead by daylight universe but you won’t like it

Somebody should make this game into a show, on a platform where the budget is really good. Every season, is about each killer, there backstory, and how they got there. Sprinkle in some survivor shit too, and some good ass gore. Every would be like a horror movie. The Killers gotta of course look like the killers from the game, a very faithful lookalike. Just to clarify: Rin did NOT kill her father. The devs themselves revealed this in depth. Rin was taken to the realm of the entity before she was allowed to take revenge, and presumably never will which intensifies her anger and hatred and makes her stronger for the entity.

The lore for this game is very good for a game where you play 4 survivors against a killer. The fact that The Entity is in essence us as the players is reminiscent of the tv shows where the viewer is a form of God. We are the reason these people are trapped in this realm, and whether we die or escape they will forever be stuck in this endless loop, wishing for a form of permanent salvation.
Actually you probably wouldn't, despite the fact they could be held back with a army of sentient plants, they all seem capable of using tools including guns, machinery, vaulting poles, and making makeshift armour to protect their most valuable part, their head. Not to mention gargs or the planning of zomboss. You would eventually have your brain consumed and converted into a zombie to follow zomboss' reign to probably just die to a pea to the face.
@@metheguy1232 I disagree, the zombies are generally quite dimwitted, usually very slow, and not that durable, able to be taken down by a single strike to the head. In all honesty you're basically going up against a weaker version of the Zedpocalypse, where the only threatening ones are either the massive Gargantuars or rare, specialized versions. Their boss is also much more vulnerable than someone like Hans or the Patriarch, and he doesn't have any clones, just a base that could easily be taken out by an airstrike.

Dead hards counterable, ds won't be useful if you choose not to tunnel, if you don't want to deal with flashlights you can run franklins demise. and swf's are often highly altruistic and you can capitalize on that.

Has anyone ever thought that this "Entity" could be Pennywise's true form. Since he lives in a realm of total darkness, has spider legs like Pennywise's true self, uses the fear of the supernatural killers to chase down survivors and murder them, has bargained with the killers like how Henry was persuaded by Pennywise, literally feeds on the survivors, and the survivors are stuck in that realm like how Pennywise's victims are floating with him.
Also, I'm pretty sure it means the Survivors can't bring much in the way of firearms or weapons, but the Entity allows the Killers to have all of their toys...

It looks like one and he has to reload it, also it uses bullets, but instead of injuring the survivors with bullets the gun shoots a sort of hook out, later he pushes the "hooked" survivor to him, hitting them with the gun. Even if you were to find good weapons, you still won't be able to kill them because *they are assisted and protected by The Entity.* If you want visual evidence and not anything else, you can look at Trapper. When he steps at one of his traps, he *can save himself at mere seconds and not have any problems* while Survivors have to work for 1.5 secs and it only has %25 chance for that to work. And while he frees himself, *there is not even a single droplet of blood that comes from the Trapper, while Survivors get injured and start bleeding.*
While lore has changed and broadened through dev streams you did pretty good with what ya had Like the becoming weaker was scrapped and changed to the entity consuming emotions negative and positive while if you give up hope you get tossed into the trash you don't even get to go back home But your soul being unable to leave and infinitely recycled for a chance to get put into a game still holds strong
Given how hope is main source of food I like to think Amanda (the pig) is one of the best killer the entity likes due to her traps In the films were rigged where even if they got out they still die, making her one the best choice with that false sense of hope of escaping

I like to believe that the entity provides survivors with enough knowledge, stamina, and durability to be able to be tortured for so much longer. Let’s be real here, i doubt an athletic child would be able to repair a generator, or an office plankton (sorry Dwight) treating injuries from giant, murderous weapons, or a tv star to run for hours on end.

Sure, the scenario is bleak and painful, but then the entity gave all of the survivors the abilities to see auras, learn others’ skills, adapt and survive. The entity is more biased toward killers, and yet.. Survivors have a chance. And sometimes, a chance is all you need.
They have no chance. The Entity only wants their suffering and to destroy their hope. Each death makes you come back to that same place. The campfire. The Entity wants it to be like that. The exit? The maps? Creations of the Entity. By killing you, It takes your hope away. And when you lose all hope and your will to live, you become a killer. Surviving only slows down the time it takes for the survivor to become a killer. Atleast from what I remember its something like that

It has a pocket in space where it damns all Surviviors who lose hope for it to feed on. It's a void where it throws the empty husk of the Surviviors.
What I think is interesting is that the Entity actively makes sure Surviviors don't stray far from the constraints it has placed on them. Yet if there truly wasn't hope for escape, why would it care. Plus I don't think the Entity has complete control over its own world, since Vigo allegedly has a workshop in the realm of the entity, and he created the black lock (the hatch).

Apparently in the lore Michael Myers is hinted to be the only killer that seems to be capable of disobeying the entity as he's the only killer capable of killing survivors without sacrificing anyone to the entity. Edit: Holy shit thanks for all the likes. Just wanted to clarify that I mean Myers is the only character that could kill all 4 survivors without any hooks needed. Memento Moris and Devour hope need survivors to be hooked and Rancor while it doesn't need a hook still needs the entity's game to progress before a survivor can be killed. These are perks that are like the entity throwing the killer a bone for their efforts while Myers can just take that bone with the right add-ons even if no one has been hit once.

The lore for this game is very good for a game where you play 4 survivors against a killer. The fact that The Entity is in essence us as the players is reminiscent of the tv shows where the viewer is a form of God. We are the reason these people are trapped in this realm, and whether we die or escape they will forever be stuck in this endless loop, wishing for a form of permanent salvation.

Actually you probably wouldn't, despite the fact they could be held back with a army of sentient plants, they all seem capable of using tools including guns, machinery, vaulting poles, and making makeshift armour to protect their most valuable part, their head. Not to mention gargs or the planning of zomboss. You would eventually have your brain consumed and converted into a zombie to follow zomboss' reign to probably just die to a pea to the face.

I disagree, the zombies are generally quite dimwitted, usually very slow, and not that durable, able to be taken down by a single strike to the head. In all honesty you're basically going up against a weaker version of the Zedpocalypse, where the only threatening ones are either the massive Gargantuars or rare, specialized versions. Their boss is also much more vulnerable than someone like Hans or the Patriarch, and he doesn't have any clones, just a base that could easily be taken out by an airstrike.

It's ok! I only have adrenaline, dead hard, decisive strike, a key, the gates at 99%, my swf group to help body block, their borrowed time, their flashlights, and a lot of extra pallets to loop!
But adrenaline wont work since the exit gates are powered.

Dead hards counterable, ds won't be useful if you choose not to tunnel, if you don't want to deal with flashlights you can run franklins demise. and swf's are often highly altruistic and you can capitalize on that.
Or you could just get bbq and learn how to play nurse, at that point it doesn't matter what the survivors have.

Has anyone ever thought that this "Entity" could be Pennywise's true form. Since he lives in a realm of total darkness, has spider legs like Pennywise's true self, uses the fear of the supernatural killers to chase down survivors and murder them, has bargained with the killers like how Henry was persuaded by Pennywise, literally feeds on the survivors, and the survivors are stuck in that realm like how Pennywise's victims are floating with him.

It looks like one and he has to reload it, also it uses bullets, but instead of injuring the survivors with bullets the gun shoots a sort of hook out, later he pushes the "hooked" survivor to him, hitting them with the gun. The player doesn't get injured only being shot, he needs to get hit too. English ain't my mothers tongue, I made a lots of mistakes. Hope you get me.

Even if you were to find good weapons, you still won't be able to kill them because *they are assisted and protected by The Entity.* If you want visual evidence and not anything else, you can look at Trapper. When he steps at one of his traps, he *can save himself at mere seconds and not have any problems* while Survivors have to work for 1.5 secs and it only has %25 chance for that to work. And while he frees himself, *there is not even a single droplet of blood that comes from the Trapper, while Survivors get injured and start bleeding.*
