In some way your videos embodies the soul of classic 350. Slow paced, zen like calmness, doesn’t get boring no matter how many times someone watch it. Even my 4 months old likes your videos. Somehow keeps him from getting cranky in the morning 😅

“It’s not that kind of bike…”. Spoken like a true motorcycle enthusiast, Freddie. Too often journalists project what they want out of a motorcycle, rather than evaluating it on its own merits. You are able to appreciate a motorcycle for its intended purpose and target audience.
Triumph is never going to send you those gaskets now after the way you have been gushing all over the Royal Enfield motorcycles. 🙄You act like a smitten teenager every time you ride one. Not a bad thing, it is good to see the passion resurface. Congrats to Monika on her cinematography skills. The editing and music selection are professional level and are good enough to be aired on the TV or picked up by a cable network.
Greetings from Bali! We just held the biggest customization bike event. You would love it here. Congratulations on passing 100000 subscribers, both of you!
7:35 “You sit there and enjoy the scenery” is perfectly apt. It’s what the bike wants you to do! It says ‘just leave everything to me, it’s all perfectly sorted. Just relax’ and you do. And you smile. The bike never intrudes, but is always right there with you. The classic 350 is a wonderful traveling companion.
Only discovered your channel in the last couple of weeks. I run a Fiat 500 1.2 Lounge and a Royal Enfield Continental GT 650. Both have put some real enjoyment back into being on the road.
I’m delighted you found the channel! Great pairing of bike and car👌🏻👌🏻 And yep @chrishart8548 - road tax is much cheaper on the Fiat than it is on the Enfield. I don’t understand it🤯
My Renault has no AC and it’s like a Time Machine taking me back to the 70’s where the best thing you got was a blast of hot air from the cooling system. Don’t get me started on the trauma of wearing shorts with all that vinyl seat coverings they fitted back then !😂
Well well….Freddie I have watched you pretty much from the beginning and I don’t think I’ve ever seen you look so enamoured by a motorbike than you did looking at the Royal Enfield in your garage at home…..it’s clearly going to be a love affair!! Cheers Dan 👍😊
This video captured exactly my experience earlier this year. I have a 2019 Triumph Speedtwin, which I love and will never sell. I also am lucky enough to have a 2005 Honda VFR as well. But in May, I was fortunate to get promoted and a pay rise - I did something I’ve never ever done. I woke one Saturday, saw a 300 mile one owner Classic 350 in red / chrome for sale less than an hour away. Told my partner I’d be out for a couple of hours. Went and bought it without a test ride. Best decision! It’s an amazing machine - now has 1300 miles on it. And it does exactly what you say - slows down your riding, allows you to enjoy the surroundings, transports you back 60 years to how I imagine motorcycling for the masses was like, and is one of the best bikes I’ve ever owned. Freddie, keep the Bonnie, but buy a classic 350 as well - you won’t regret it!! And huge congratulations on the 100k RUclips award. 👍🏻
I must say that if I were to buy a Classic 350, I’d get it in red like the one you have. And I completely agree about your sentiments. I love the jacket you were wearing on the ride home too by the way. Great to see the plaque! We’ve got to up our game to get one 😉
Absolutely well done Fred and Monica on the award, so well deserved. You really should stop borrowing the Classic 350 and go out and buy one. Put the Bonneville in mothballs till Triumph stop messing you about.
The time it’s taking to source your Bonnie parts is a huge PR disaster for Triumph. I’m genuinely astonished. If I were Triumph’s CE0 or Director of marketing I would have given you free reign on all available demo bikes. Royal Enfield on the other hand are smashing it. I’m certain they’re picking up lots of potential Triumph customers anyway but by supporting you and other RUclipsrs they’re raising their profile even further.
Congratulations! To both of you. An oasis. And well done Royal Enfield. The only one’s wise enough to see an immediate reach to 100,000 potential buyers.
Hi Freddie. The bike with the sidecar is a Triumph Trident 750. I have Triumph Daytona 750 on a J plate. Both are the first gen of new triumphs following Alan Bloors purchase of Triumph. Best and ride safe, Old Bloke.
Triumph have really pissed on their chips with this gasket debacle! I don't think they realise how influential videos like yours can be, in terms of getting/losing potential customers. As I said in a previous comment on your channel, I've been a big fan of Triumph for a long time (I've been riding for 40 years next Tuesday!), but I would now seriously reconsider buying one. All because they can't even get something as ridiculously basic & simple as a gasket sorted out! It's not exactly NASA or DARPA, is it?!
When you guys can start a video, "Good morning and welcome to Services in Stowmarket" and yet have achieved 100,000 plus subscribers in such a short time, no further proof needed that your channel is wonderful! Keep doing it your way!
I think Royal Enfield should gift you that 350 Classic as I’m certain you’ve monumentally boosted their sales of it! Lovely bike. Definitely would love one! Congrats to you both on your YT award 👏! Fabulous!
Many congratulations Freddie and Monika on the You Tube award!! Also congratulations to Royal Enfield for coming to your rescue.. they owe you one I feel so enjoy the rest of the summer.
Excellent content as always, Freddie, and the award is 150% deserved for all of yourself and Monika's hard work. It's been a pleasure being one of your subscribers. Now, Fred, something I've been meaning to ask you, and perhaps it's something you could maybe discuss on your Podcast channel: Fuel ! I have just collected my Triumph Thunderbird 1600 from the Triumph servicing department in Byfleet, as it was previously showing an engine management error light and was in "limp home" mode. The problem was caused by a perished MAP sensor hose, which, apparently is common for a lot of Triumphs - particularly the Bonneville - the sensor hose can pop out of it's boot joint or perish. However, the mechanic there absolutely bollocked me about the fuel in the tank smelling awful !! It turns out that the new standard unleaded E10 fuel contains quite a bit of ethanol and goes off very quickly, so after after a couple of months sitting in the tank, it can quickly degrade. As we've not had much of a summer in the UK, this tank of fuel was sat in the Thunderbird for a good 3 months, hence it aged. The mechanic told me that it can become incredibly corrosive when it goes off and can cause permanent damage to the engine - he said, unless it's your daily rider, then always, ALWAYS, use high octane or "premium" E5 unleaded fuel in the bike. As you can imagine, I was shocked, that this simple precaution was completely unknown to me, as I've not seen it mentioned on any biking website or youtube channel. I'd be very interested to hear your opinion or experience, if any, on this issue. Welcome back to the UK btw - we've missed you :o)
Air con makes trips kind of fun in the heat. You're comfy and when you get out to refuel or do a bathroom break, it's just "wow, it's warm out here, that's nice" followed by a sigh of relief getting back in the vehicle...
Congratulations to you both, and thank you for always re-enforcing my decision to get a Royal Enfield for my first bike. Some of the my die hard BMW riding friends tell me the decision was poor, but they have ridden one to understand.
Congrats, well deserved to you both. You make it look easy but we all know it isn’t. Look forward to the next two years. Still can’t quite believe the Sahara trip!
I get what you’re saying, it was the first time I felt fear for Freddie’s safety, especially on his return the Boneville broke down. That could have been quite dangerous in the middle of Morocco. But alls well that ends well.
Thanks Gordon! I was ridiculously lucky that the Bonneville only broke down three miles from home, otherwise I’m certain I’d have had to just give it to a Moroccan family and fly home😆
In Greece, when we have to do with sport bikes, we have an expression "se vazei sthn priza" which translates in something like "it plugs you in" - where plug means electricity! But you said perfectly : it does not promote aggressive riding. Being a rider who finds it challenging to control my right wrist - independently of the vehicle, my R. E classic 350 not only tames it perfectly. It makes me actually enjoy this type of riding, never and I mean never puts me to test it's revving potential or brakes or cornering - it doesn't have much... All of that as my dollar (pound?) for anyone of the viewers who may find Freddie's description overly enthusiastic. It's just 101% accurate - IF you are willing to live with this kind of bike and maybe you own one more for other use. Finally, huge congratulations for the content, charismatic presentation. Please keep up!
“I don’t get it. People keep saying they’ve seen our ad on RUclips, but ChillyBottom doesn’t advertise on RUclips… Does it…?” Great channel - keep up the good work! Looking forward to my test ride on the 350 Classic this coming Tuesday. I’m with you on the chrome red and halcyon grey as most desirable colour options - I think the flat colours are better suited to the style of the bike, the metallics are lovely but don’t quite sit right for me. All subjective, of course! 😎👍
@@FreddieDobbs it truly has been a pleasure to follow your and Monika’s adventures so far, you have a good mix of bikes, cars, travel and plain old fun that it doesn’t matter which bike you ride it’s interesting to watch. Heartiest congrats, Freddie: first on the hundred k subscribers and then on the new Enfield. You'll find it renews the joy of biking, and I hope we'll make an RE man of you yet, chum!
That’s twice today I’ve spotted a TR (1st a TR2 in the flesh and then on a trailer in this video). I had a “semi-restored” TR2 back in the late 60’s - based in London, I drove it all over (South Coast, Devon, Cornwall and the Lake District). I loved that “old beast” - wish I still had it. Test rode a 350 Classic last week and would be seriously considering it if I didn’t enjoy my Himalayan so much. Loving your videos - Monica does such a good job complimenting your work - great Team, congratulations 👍🇦🇺
Glad to hear the mirror mounted Quad Lock is a good option. Waiting on mine to arrive and was just sort of crossing my fingers that it would work out on my black Classic 350. Really looking forward to venturing onto smaller back roads without needing to worry about how I'm going to find my way back. Happy that you're spending some more time on a Classic, such a pleasant little bike.
Freddie - great to see you and Monica have received a well deserved award, you are great in front of the camera, Monica is even better behind it! Keep on keeping on.
Bought a wireless quadlock charger a few weeks back. I put your details in Freddie, so hopefully they give you a bit of a kickback 😉 Congrats on the RUclips plaque.
Freddie, many congratulations on reaching 100k. I'm 75 now, and unfortunately I can't ride any longer, but your channel helps me to enjoy bikes through your experiences and thoughts. Thank you and here's to the 200k!
Congrats on your award both of you . I have the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and she is my daily commute here in Australia . Makes me smile every ride. So glad your on a Royal Enfield now in your videos . ❤
Congratulations on your license plate and greetings from Guatemala, Central America, your content of the motorcycle filming is very nice, I also have a classic 350
Well done mate! The best motorcycle journalist on RUclips. Absolutely love your reviews. I agree with everything you say about the Classic 350, it really is all the bike someone would ever need.
For any of us riding an Enfield Interceptor, the quadlock mirror mount is perfect for mounting your phone to the stock handlebar cross brace bar. Puts it in an ideal position
Your very first video released just as I was looking at the Indian Scout (60). I've been watching most of your videos since. You and Monika release smashing videos. Thank you to you both.
I don’t know many channels more deserving of that plaque than this one! Absolutely well deserved, love the videos and can’t get enough of them. They always feel like a mini vacation. Thanks you two. Keep it up❤
Agreed mate. Cleared the first 1000 miles . Getting better and better. These J engines are as tight as the old Honda's were in the early 70s. They took a thousand miles before they got on song
congratulations for your 100 k it's deserved I've been at the good recently but I have a great pleasure watching your old videos.... I'm 56 years old and have a re 350 classic and it gave me a smile after a few years years without driving motorcycles thank you freddie and monica
Your YT award is well deserved by you both, for bringing us great entertaining biking vlogs from across the world, in your own unique style. Well done! Don’t stop.
I'm just now getting into riding and shopping around for my first bike, and I've watched a few of your videos. I have to say, you by far, have some of the best content I've seen when it comes to motorcycles. You deserve way more subscribers than you have. Watching you and your content is relaxing, informing and makes me want to buy a motorcycle even more. Great job with your channel, and keep up the great work. I can't wait to see if you get your hands on the new upcoming Triumph Scrambler 400 X.
Congratulations to you both, well deserved. From Gary and Mandy (Rock Island Bar - Fuerteventura) Been watching you guys religiously for the last couple of years 😊
Congratulations on achieving 100k subscribers. The award is richly deserved, Freddie & Monika. Great channel which I've watched for ages and will enjoy for as long as we're all around.
Congratulations on the 100k subscribers, yes Monica deserves her recognition. Great to see a RE 350 classic again, I went to look at one yesterday and will test ride one soon. I think it will be my birthday present to myself in January when I reach 60.
Well done both on receiving the plaque! So pleased to see someone so genuinely enjoying riding without it being about noise and excessive power. The 350 is a lovely bike.
Congratulations on the 100k subscribers Freddie! I have been watching your videos for a couple years now but just realized that I never subscribed, needless to say you have one more now! Your travels on the Bonnie inspire me to take some trips on my NineT. Its nice to see someone touring on something other than big touring specific bikes.

Congratulation Freddie and Monica for the 100K YT reward!!Great videos made by motorbike lovers for motorbike lovers!👍
Freddie - great to see you and Monica have received a well deserved award, you are great in front of the camera, Monica is even better behind it! Keep on keeping on.
Well done Freddie and Monica.

Bought a wireless quadlock charger a few weeks back. I put your details in Freddie, so hopefully they give you a bit of a kickback 😉
Congrats on the RUclips plaque.
Really appreciated, thanks🙌🏻 I hope you like the products
Freddie, many congratulations on reaching 100k. I'm 75 now, and unfortunately I can't ride any longer, but your channel helps me to enjoy bikes through your experiences and thoughts. Thank you and here's to the 200k!
Congrats on your award both of you . I have the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and she is my daily commute here in Australia . Makes me smile every ride.

Well deserved 100,000! Congratulations Freddie!
Well done Freddie and Monica, keep up the good work. 🍾
Congratulations both and thank you for keeping me entertained over breakfast for the past 2 years!
I don’t know many channels more deserving of that plaque than this one! Absolutely well deserved, love the videos and can’t get enough of them. They always feel like a mini vacation. Thanks you two. Keep it up❤
Congratulations both of you!! My wife and I have been following you for a whIle now and enjoy every episode 😊.

These J engines are as tight as the old Honda's were in the early 70s.
They took a thousand miles before they got on song

Freddie, the early speed tripple with sidecar has four pipes! An early Trophy maybe. Congratulations to both of you for the award, enjoy the Enfield
