I’m on a roadtrip across Northen Thailand on a Classic 350 right now, you’ve definitely had an influence on that Freddie!
Noooo way- this sounds like a trip of a lifetime! Enjoy, Ross🤘🏼🤘🏼
Freddie,
On the subject of great books ,ya godda read "SAS Rogue Heroes" by Ben Macintyre. It was made into a BBC TV series which was also a must watch.
It was after watching and enjoying the TV show so much that I read the book. Gripping stuff and hard to put down.
Been rolling around North Thailand on my Meteor a lot recently but temporarily stuck on a GD110 😂 Enfield 350s ideal for this location..
Have fun..
*Crap Game* 🎉
Freddie your totally right about early morning rides. I ride to work at about 6:15 every day. Its thirty miles through the county. Watching the sun come up across the Kentucky horse farms, with the morning due on the bluegrass, and the morning fog lifting to see the young foals waking up in the paddocks. Makes another day at work possible.
Nice images there :)
🙏
Enjoyed the restful Sunday morning therapy. Also, thanks for positioning the 350 Classic so we can get a get a good look at it while you stand aside to don your helmet and gloves. Much appreciated.
My GSX 1250 got a puncture the day before a big bike trip, so I used the scram 411..... I expected to be disappointed, but it was one of the best trips I've ever done. What these bikes lack in size they make up for in charm, fun, style, just so good. I had so many people come up to me and ask about the bike. Its a dream, and at like £4,500 brand new on the road? insane. I don't know how they do it. I'm excited to see what the triumph scrambler 400 is like next year.
Fond memories Freddie of my own “ get up early and go for a ride”…you’re right it was glorious….
Interesting that Danny had a Cincinnati Reds shirt on. Cincy is my home town. I'm riding the Meteor 350. Really enjoy it!
Superb cinema-photography, the 350 Classic looks great
Just finished Snowing In Bali. Great holiday read. Keep up the good work, great idea throwing a book recommendation in the mix. 👍
6:48 My dad was a biker, he passed away a couple of years ago. Among his things we found a photo he took of me and my brother as kids on a visit to friends who lived near Ipswich. The Orwell Bridge was half-built in the background, which would date it to about 1980, I guess. I love that you do so many shots in front of the bridge, it reminds me of that photo!
The last bike Dad owned was a 1971 Bonneville. I think he’d have approved of the Royal Enfield Classic and the retro Triumphs you like to ride. Keep up the good work Freddie, I love the channel.
I remember Sunday morning rides. Up at 6am and ride to Marcus Dairy on I-84. Coffee and maybe breakfast at Markus while checking out all the bikes and talking to other riders. Then back-roading it to Bear Mt State Park in NY for a sit up at the top of Perkins Drive for a chat while enjoying the view.
So what have we learnt? Freddie likes a nice cup of tea in the morning, wears sandals and socks indoors, and for some reason can't do up his helmet while he's sitting on a bike.
Also Danny and Freddie make a lovely couple, and Freddie carries a spare pair of jeans with him on every ride.
Another lovely morning out with Mr Dobbs, doing mostly nothing, just as it should be.
Monica brought the jeans I bet
Plus Dobbs wears completely unsuitable riding gear……DO NOT FOLLOW HIS EXAMPLE!
@@neilurquhart8622 did you not check out his armoured base layer review?
I recently bought Scram 411 and watched your review on the same white flame color edition.
After watching your videos, often weekends i ride my bike around the hills(as I am from Nepal) nearby to find solitude from the city. You planted a feeling in me about good bikes as a companion rather than just a metal machine.
Thanks man. If you ever come to Nepal would love to have coffee with you guys.
Hitchcocks are every Royal Enfield owner's friend. They package the bits you don't know you need until you start the job.
Cool video…Sunday mornings are special 🌝
Another great video; I always find you very calming with great content. 👍👍
I love that Freddie goes onto the balcony to put his boots on, then walks through the house....class! Made me chuckle!
That classic 350 suits you so well 👍🏻
Thanks Kevin. I do genuinely feel it suits my style of riding perfectly👌🏻
Another lovely video, thank you :)
I really love Royal Enfield specially meteor 350 steller black/ classic 350 signal/ and continental GT 650
I took delivery of my Classic 350 the other day Freddie - thanks for the reviews and the information.
Another beautiful video. You guys never stop improving and it shows. Bravo!
Thanks again Freddie for a fabulous piece! Love the Classic 350 and and presentation.
Freddie, you are spot on about early morning weekend rides. I have also found during school holidays you can have more fun than usual during the weekdays as there are far fewer cars on the road. I live down the road from you in Colchester and agree that the summer hasn’t been spectacular, but in the North Essex, South Suffolk area it hasn’t been too bad at all. This has been one of my favourite of your videos, very simple and displayed what is a wonderful day for any motorcycle enthusiast.
Unless you live in Cornwall of Course, then it's hell...🙄
nice classic breakfast - hot tea.
So you have decided to climb out of bed, and get on your bike. Good on you, you have discovered the best part of the day, I normally get up at 5, meet the lads at 6 and we are in the breakfast cafe by 7 when it opens. Bit warmer here, 28 at 7 am
Hi Freddie. Wonderful Sunday blue sky's warm air and nice people to be around I'd say that's a perfect day!
Nice to see some lovely weather and great to see Danny again with he's infectious laugh.
Thanks for the video Freddie. A sunny Sunday tinkering on a beautiful retro classic is just what the doctor ordered. And the shot of your Classic350 with the bridge in the background is just perfect. I fell in love again with that bike. Cheers and safe riding,. Dan ✌️🏍🇨🇦
“Boys and their toys.“ What better way to spend a Sunday. And that clock is the perfect mod! Cheers to you and Danny.
I had to stop the video a few minutes in to tell you... Pirates...
I watched a series on TV a few years ago about pirates, it was called "Black Sails" after a few episodes I was hooked and it fired up my interest in Pirates too. So, I bought a book about them which id line like to recommend. The Republic Of Pirates by Colin Woodard. I had no idea they were so big, at one point the Royal Navy couldn't venture in to Pirate waters because the ships had a habit of turning Pirate! Brilliant, brilliant book, highly recommended. And equally, if you like Pirates, try "Black Sails"... i just couldn't stop watching it, back to back episodes for days, weeks at a time :)
Awesome production again Freddie & Monika, love your content, always a fantastic watch ✨⭐🧡⭐✨
Thank you so much!
@@FreddieDobbs ✨⭐🧡⭐✨
Hi Freddie, if you're interested in the history of pirates you might want to read up about Suffolk snuggling. Look up John Harvey and the Hadleigh gang.
Freddie I can just see you reading Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance it's very philosophical love the vids 😊😊😊😊
It looks fantastic over there, I must go and explore Suffolk, thanks for highlighting what a great place it is!
Hey Freddie, your not a bad reader, just a little out of shape. Your brain/reading skills require a regular workout just as your muscles working out at the gym. Regular reading will have you on par with Einstein. 😂😂 Throughout life I was a late sleeper…until I started riding again. Now I pop out of bed at 5 am to get a ride in before work or the world awakens. It’s my favorite time of day now. I’m addicted. 👍👍👍
Great vid! nice relaxing day out on the Classic 350. 😃👍
Freddie, I like that kind of Sundays. Each Summer I try to have one or two of them, when I wake uo early, take a cup of coffee and take a ride. I enjoy the silance of a morning. All the best to you.
Ohh Freddie & Monika, another fantastic day filled with very special memories! Keen to hear your thoughts of the mighty 350! Both yours & Monikas’ thoughts & discussions. Stay super cool you too❤️ As cool as cats!😉🤙😎
“I suddenly realised I was fascinated by pirates”. Just golden! You don’t get this from any other bike channel.
That’s because other biking channels are about bikes!
Another fantastic chilled video well done Freddie and Monica 😊
My nephew is a marine, and that's one of his jobs, hunting pirates and drug smugglers and other criminals they find breaking the law. Danny looked happy tinkering with his bike and I don't blame him and for you what a lovely way to spend a Sunday morning I the British sunshine bloody, gorgeous😅
Just gotta love a chrome Tank , good to see your buddy doing his own service all part of the experience and helps you learn more about the bike I think , great vlog Freddie
Lovely video Freddie, the 500 a lovely simple bike to work on and good for touring.
Lovely vid. For me the maintenance is done over winter when I can’t ride. Prewinterisation protection and ride all way through but really a fair weather man nowadays. As owner of v strom 650 really only oil change, brake clean inspect and chain together with protection. Air filter and plugs really 2yrs + and valves maybe longer. The older u get the less u want to be on the floor, well that’s my case
Congrats both for the 100.000 subscribers , well deserved! I follow you almost for the beginning and I cannot miss a single video since!
Good stuff Freddie ,it’s what classic styled thumpers & quaint English country roads were made for . 👍
Those Original Pirates are now known as the City of London or as was known in period … The East Indian Trading Company !
Fascinating how they never lost the wealth or ways to hide it ….
When I was in my twenties I used to love loading up my Ducati the previous evening and getting up at 4 am and on the road by 5 am heading West on the A25. No traffic at that time in the morning. Glorious!
I do the early morning ride, 1hr walking the dog quick shower then out the door on my classic 350, back lanes and not many cars, bliss brekkie then back home for midday, love it, great content as always Freddie atb, Chris
Glorious day Freddie!
😉Freddie looks like you have more foot protection in the house than on the bike 😂
I know, I know😆
Nice upload Freddie! Recently acquired a Royal Enfield Interceptor and can identify with what Danny has said. So easy and cheap to work on compared to my BMW's. I enjoy tinkering about in the garage almost as much as out riding. Good luck with the property digs. Not easy these days!
Brilliant channel. Just brilliant.
GOLDEN THINGS! Cool tune
Love your channel, brother !
Keep it up and if your ever in western Canada I'd love to show you around the back country
Chris Rea’s Sweet Summer Day definitely resonates with the uncharacteristically beautiful British weather that day!
Great video Freddie!
Loving your chanel.....,It really is Great..!
The Vibe..,the content...,the editing..,the pace..,everything...!
I'm a fan.....
BG.
Great video as always. Me and a couple of mates normally head off early Sunday mornings for a breakfast somewhere very local to you
Clear fresh morning air and near empty roads have a charm all of their own
I quite often take my old 350 Matchless, very similar to your classic😊
Your cat is such a little cutie ❤
We had a cooked breakfast at the Suffolk Food Hall recently. Some (beautiful) familiar scenes in this video. Love Suffolk!
Can't blame you about your reading! It is extremely fascinating to read old stuff. I actually think you would like to try historical fencing 🙂 (lots of old stuff to read and you get to learn something about the past from a closer point of view).
Riding on early mornings is absolutely perfect!
Love the Vlogs Freddie!
Good to see your subscriber numbers going up, well deserver Sir.
I have one of those clocks on an old (95) Sportster.
Of course its all full of water now......
Great stuff guys.
At least I'm not the only one with a garage thats not a man cave but a pile it all in.
That said mines a double with a pit so a big mess.
And wifes MX5 commands center stage .
But Ethel the 350 classic still fits in and the pit makes doing the bike a pleasure
No crouching on the floor
What a brilliant "feel good" watch that was!!
I’m with you on the pirate thing Freddy, good to see some variation in your videos
You can hear how calm he is bc of the morning ride. It's meditation really
Love your your videos Freddie
Freddie, great video, love when you bring Danny to the channel. He reminds me of me!! Quick thought: In the USA we have a company called Harbor Freight, and they sell a foot pump motorcycle lift (from China) of course, for $1,000 US. I have seen these for sale from other purveyors, although I don’t know if anyone carries them across the pond. Just saying, I bought one because getting on the ground is not easy for this X football player (soccer), and I am really mad at myself for not doing it earlier (30 years earlier). when young, that cost was just too much, but I don’t see why this lift can’t last a lifetime. . .It seems reasonably well made, and it’s VERY simple so little can go wrong. I think worth it for anyone with a dedicated Moto space. Cars cannot drive over it, but Jeeps, Land Rovers, Ranger Rovers can! Let Danny know!
Great Sunday ride out, love em myself. Good to see you up and off early, I always thought you didn't set off till nearly lunch 😊
I usually don’t, but arranging to meet Danny at 9am gave me the kick I needed😆
@@FreddieDobbs Good for you, it's the best part of the day I think and like you say get an early ride with no traffic and you still have most of the day left 👍
Hi Freddie,
I'd highly recommend the Series
"Black Sails"👍
If haven't seen it,
A mix of fact and fiction about Pirates,
Cheers Paul
Thanks for the book recommendation Freddie, I read Snowing in Bali when I was on holiday in Gran Canaria and really enjoyed it. Just bought Operation Playboy and will read it when I am back there in October. Loving your videos whatever they are about so relaxing, congrats on 100k.
For something local when in GC try "more ketchup than salsa" by Joe Cawley about life on Tenerife.
@@richardbartlett6932 Thanks Richard, bought!
No pirates in my books, Freddie. A good way to spend a Sunday morning. Nick J
Nice channel, more than just going on Go pro runs out on a bike. Informative and interesting 👍
Casually more Pinarello bikes than you can shake a stick at!
Come visit Northern Ireland. We have some really cool biking history and sportsmen as well as affordable housing!
Absolutely...!!
Nice day out
Fabulous video as always Freddie, keep them coming ! 😃😃 ps I`m off to Ireland in a week or so for a week on the bike, can`t wait 😁😁
Great video.. it would be great to watch you restore a classic 350. Then tour on it.
Freddie isn’t too good with tools plus he hasn’t got the skills to restore anything!
Keep the RE 350 videos coming 😊 all I could’ve ever asked for
Pardon me Freddie but I think your friend got just one spark plug for the CL 500 which has two actually . Hope I didn't miss anything . BTW always a pleasure to watch your videos
Love the 500 and the 350. I have the 500 Trials version and the 350 Classic. I put the clock on the 500, unfortunately the 350 has a digital clock and I have not found an analog yet. I also have an anlog clock on my GT 650. Time obsession is a thing.
I do shift work & I just love the ride to work at 04.00 in the morning nothing on the road just me & my bike or even late shift coming home at 02.00 nothing on the road👍🏻😎
I'd love to see a video of you and Monika hunting apartments, grettings!
Its funny how much of a difference having access to a clock on a motorcycle makes: my Bonneville has one whereas my old Suzuki GS500F didn't. Its such a simple thing, but makes a big difference. Ranks right up there with having a proper fuel gauge.
The serene ambience your videos create. With love, from 🇮🇳.
Thank you, Mav🙌🏻🇮🇳
Good morning from Chicago Freddie!
Good morning over in Chicago!👋🇺🇸
No modifications for my perfect RE 350 REBORN, I decided when I bought her, December 2022. Since then I put on bar end mirrors. Replaced the horn, fitted pannier racks and rear box rack, put in a DNA air filter, and also recently did the 300 mile service (oil change and tappets). No more mods..... unless. (oh I forgot, waiting for my cockpit clock) ps forgot to add the wiring and installation for the Quadlock.
Good luck with the Apartment hunting, thought we were getting new neighbours there for a while..
It has been discussed🏴
Thanks Richard!
Freddie hope u enjoyed Africa my mother land..Good job bro 👏
I loved every second of it!🙂
Freddie Not gonna lie I would be sad if you do not end up with a classic 350 some time in the future after all these words of praise!
You should try a little road trip in Kent there are loads of little country lanes to ride around.
How are you going on for the elusive gasket, have you found one yet ,? Love your lifestyle, oh to be young again, 😂🤣👍
A white Cat on a white chair...what could possibly go wrong ? 😮😉
Freddie … move to YORKSHIRE .. we’d love to have you with us on the best roads in the UK 😂
Best RUclipsr out there
Thank you Ryan🙌🏻🙌🏻
Hi Freddie, I passed my bike test 26 years ago but only bought my first bike 12 months ago. My head wanted a Versys 650 but my heart wanted a Classic 350. I bought the Versys which is great, but just bought the 350 as well. I get stopped on the classic all the time, but no one looks at the Versys. The Versys also rarely goes out now.
When are you coming to Llangollen for coffee in the Ponderosa (horseshoe pass)?
More videos like this would be good. You should get one of these and sell that Triumph. How you getting on with the head gasket?
