Best RAM is a dual rank kit @ DDR4 3800 C16 (or lower). I think most people's IMC can handle an IF of 1:1 with DDR4 3800. If not, knock it down to 3733. Ryzen loves low timings more than MT/s or "mhz". Zen 3 also supports quad rank. Got a great IMC? 4 sticks of dual rank DDR4 3800 C16 (or lower CAS if possible) and a 1900mhz IF. AMD says the sweet spot is either DDR4 3733 or 3800, can't remember. But you don't want DDR4 3800 C18 or C20. DDR4 3600 C16 will outperform DDR4 3600 C18 in any real world task. No, not an AIDA64 memory bandwidth test, but in the real world.
The best possible RAM = G.SKILL Trident Z Neo 2x16GB dual rank - for gaming F4-4000C14D-32GTZN - 4000MHz CL14 - if you want to tweak or have hell stable Infinity Fabric / IMC F4-3600C14D-32GTZNA - 3600MHz CL14 - if you want to put XMP on and be smiled. 4x16GB dual rank - for creative work, video editing, 3D modeling and AI data mieling F4-3600C14Q-64GTZNA - 3600MHz CL14 --- I have the first ones and they are great, unfortunately running them 3733MHz 1:1:1 ratio with FCLK and UCLK due to weak IMC on Ryzen 5950X.
if you know how to tune ram get patriot viper steel 2x16gb 4400mhz its $109 usd has the samsung memory and when you can get 2 sets. 3713 cl15 is doable under 1.5v with enough tinkering. with ryzen youre bound by the infinity fabric. you can get higher frequency lower latency on intel but its a much much more expensive platform overall so not really worth it for most people.
I don't think many people are gonna spend 550 MSRP on the CPU and put 16 gb ram in it. 32gb would be the minimum for a 2022 flagship PC. But other than that great video. 😃
Don't listen to these brain dead youtubers. The best RAM is whatever you can get your infinity fabric too and be stable. Example would be 3800Mhz RAM = 1900 FCLK, 4000Mhz Ram = 2000 FCLK and so on. But good luck hitting those speeds as you may or may not be able too, even on a ryzen 5000 series not all chips will hit those speeds you may boot and think you are stable, pass MemTest and all, but if you get even 1 WHEA error then you are out

@@SrChalice I'm not on their diks, I have decades of my own, sound computer hardware knowledge. Nothing was said about RAM Ranks, Also, there is no point going above 3600Mhz with Ryzen due to its infinity Cache. RAM latency has the ability to negate speed also. 3200Mhz CL14 and 3600Mhz CL16 sticks run almost identically. And losing performace because of an RGB app... Gruanted that could have been a joke so I'll give him that lol
Short and simple man. I see you doing really well in the future.
nice video man. short, simple and to the point, well done!

what if i use 4600 mzh, will it affect my performance somehow?
Excellent video, what about timings though? (CAL?)

Very well explained . Thank you . Just subscribed :)
Sehr gutes Video :) hab mir 3600mhz cl16 geholt und bin voll zufrieden

My 5900X came with 2x8 3600 kingston renegade, wondering if it’d add a lot of value to go to 4x8 or just wait and replace with 2x16.
2x16 dual channel for sure
bro I'm using the same processor but my ram don't run on 4000mhz after DOCP overclocking.
