Thanks for sharing! Looks great. FYI wood mulch against the house is usually not recommended because it can lead to termite/carpenter ant problems. Or so says google.

Interesting! We have annual termite pest control (especially with me having a workshop full of wood nearby), but maybe I should also look into ant killer!

I love this - it looks perfect! Did you do anything specific to set the bricks?

Thanks Kate! We dug out a shallow trench to set the edgers, but that was it!

Make the old picture black & white, and the new picture, in color, so it's nice and pretty.

You guys are so cute (future HGTV stars). What a great protect, it really looks amazing Jen! I'm going to check out that turf because we have a similar area where nothing grows.

Great video well done to all of you for the hard work, and the attention to detail is the same as me, i hate it when stuff doesn't look right or even nice i have to re-do it.
As for the artificial grass we have some and found it easier to turn it upside down and cut the rubber underneath with a Stanley knife, but that would be harder for you though with the small pieces that you had to cut, the other thing is the type of grass you have, maybe different to the stuff that we have, i'm waffling now ha ha ha.
It was a great looking finished project, there i'm done.
    Stay Safe,
    Barry (ENG)
