Videos on finding myself and making sense of this experience called "life" - Who am I really? What is my true nature?
Here on this RUclips channel, you’ll find stories of healing, inner workings, perceptions, beliefs, raw emotions, healing, managing health conditions (Meniere’s disease, complex PTSD, ADD etc).
If you enjoy teachings by Eckhart Tolle, Rupert Spira, Mooji, Adyashanti, Angelo Dilullo then perhaps what I speak to in my new videos will resonate with you deeply. If your cptsd is flared up, or you have only just been diagnosed with cptsd, then perhaps my older videos will be more resourceful and relatable to you.

Shopping used to be a major problem for me, I was having panic attacks about three or four times a week and the fear of going out was dreadful. No one ever talked about this thing called CPTSD in those days. We have come a long way since then thank goodness. Grounding was something that wasn’t ever mentioned by the medical professionals and people just thought you were suffering from some type of madness. I shopped in a little grocery shop two minutes from my flat because agoraphobia had set in and that was all I could manage. So much has changed since then thankfully.

My biggest problem is that my anxiety makes me get lost in shops, and a real panic overcomes me when I feel lost in the aisles and I get lightheaded. I also lose the car in the car park, and for the last few years, I have taken a photo from the front of the car so that I can trace my way back. I also write down any landmarks around the car.

Great idea! thanks for sharing. I lost my car ones in the airport carpark it took me over an hour to find it🤣 a photo with park number would have been awesome!
it takes a lot of patience to work through those types of fears

Isn't it okay to get (automaticly) numn when doing groceries?
    💚

it's just a coping mechanism. yes of course it's ok. at some point, I just wanted to experience more of life, like smell the foods in the shop, hear the background music, smile at other customers etc.. so being numb no longer served me to create the experience I wanted to have.
while there was a time, all I wanted is to not feel overwhelmed, don't have flashbacks or feel triggered and just get my shopping done and come home with everything I needed... in those times "numb" served me.
      does that make sense?
