  • Ever wondered why positive affirmations are not as effective as you hoped to get out of negative thinking patterns that lead to behaviours or coping strategies that you'd like to stop?
here I explain why, using a metaphor "the train that stops at no stations"
let's have some fun with this and bring some playful energy to it
curious to hear how that landed for you....

Videos of my experience and insights learnt on this “pathless journey” on finding “myself” after trauma and making sense of this experience called "life" - Who am I really? What is my true nature? Who is seeking on this “journey”? What exactly am I trying to heal?
Here on this RUclips channel, you’ll find stories of healing, inner workings, perceptions, beliefs, raw emotions, healing, managing health conditions (Meniere’s disease, complex PTSD, ADD etc).
If you enjoy teachings by Eckhart Tolle, Rupert Spira, Mooji, Adyashanti, Angelo Dilullo then perhaps what I speak to in my new videos will resonate with you deeply.
If your cptsd is flared up, or you have only just been diagnosed with cptsd, then perhaps my older videos will be more resourceful and relatable to you.

I like the analogy. It is easy for me to understand.

Neurological pathways are ingrained and essentially stuck on a loop pedal ( one way train track same destination) brain likes familiarity because it has to work harder to change thought patterns and build new pathways.
All of this I know you understand because of your analogy!
I've not worked for 5 years due to depression, general anxiety and cptsd and it's really hard to figure out what I want to do work wise as I've been stuck on benefits for years.
You would be really good to chat to about these matters and despite my pretty good insight into these things.. having pieced myself together for years and years I still benefited from listening to this video. You have good energy and I feel like you would be a good support mentor or meditation guide with these things
Peace to you and thanks for talking about these things and sharing your experience :)

Yes! Our brain main focus is survival and conserve energy.... hence there is perceived resistance for creating new neuronal pathways (it almost felt like my brain/body is working against this early on)
knowing that, you can bring gentle kindness towards this and remind yourself that there is an abundance of energy available to you now and that feeling uncomfortable is necessary to get out fo the familiar patterns and create new ones
just like learning a new skill (e.g. driving a manual car for the very first time) feels uncomfortable and eventually wiht persistance and practice, it becomes second nature....

I find subliminal tapes to be a really good workaround for this.
