Ford told me that both the f250 and f350 were lowered on the 2020 model half an inch on the front and a inch and a half on the back but I don’t know about the f450

I wish they would have measured the height to the top of the hitch assemble thats really what you need to know for your trailer and is easy to measure equally.

I have a 2019 3/4 ton superduty king ranch diesel and want to purchase a redwood 3401RL fifth wheel but only have 4" between the overhang on the rv to the bed of my truck. My question is can the truck be lowered 2" so I have the suggested 6" between the two .
Question I have a 2019 f250 lariat sport diesel and it seems all the sports seem to set way lower in front and higher in rear so more of a slant! Once buying I notice all other f250 lariats not sorts looks a lot more level has anyone ever proved this?
What are you doing with back blocks on the 2020 when adding the 2.5 Level kit? 2019 has 3" rear block and 2020 has 2 " so back end sags way to much. Thanks

J P if you get a 2017-2019 just remove the 2 inch lift blocks from the rear axle and you will have no issues with your 5th wheel, that’s what many have done, this is usually is only necessary with older 5th wheels, most manufacturers of 5th wheels have recognized this and are producing their 5th wheels to accommodate newer vehicles, I have a 2020 F350 srw, just picked it up on the 17th, first thing I did was back it into my 5th wheel, it’s perfect, Ford has lowered their 2020’s, I have the FX4 package, my particular truck is 17/8 of an inch lower than my 2018 f350srw, both FX4’s, hope this helps

At one point I remember reading that during focus groups folks were saying that they didn’t like the difference in the gap between the wheel wells and the tires. So Ford lowered it by 2 inches in the rear and an inch in the front. I figured what they did at that point was say.... “You know what, let’s leave the ride height at 2 inches taller on a truck and call it something different and sell that as a package!!!!”

I like the 2020 grille slightly better than the 2019 grille, and I like that Ford removed the shark fin...doesn't look good with cab lights--it's too busy.

My 2019 has the snow plow package which sits about 1” higher in the front end than the standard front springs do. So my truck is probably around 1 1/2 “ higher for both front & back than a standard 2020. Now if I put a 2 1/2” Readylift leveling kit in mine then I am 4” taller in front & 1 1/2’ taller in the back.
The ride hide made them look sexy. Ford skimping on materials again but price keeps going up. Almost looks like a F150 for 80k. Still better looking than GMs Chevys monstrosity. And reliability better than GM and Fiat Chrysler’s Ram.
Also I have a 19 350 leveled and 35s with custom wheels, I tow a 30 enclosed trailer with a foot extra height. Truck does amazing! A bunch of bull lowering the super duty due to towing. They are shooting them selves in the foot!

Could anyone confirm the ride height difference between the 2019 superduty and the 2020 tremor??? If the 2020 is lowered but the tremor is raised is it just the same as the 2019?
John Hudson I went and checked it out today... using the same parameters as this video the tremor is 22.5” at the front... the same as the 2019 with smaller tires and no lift.
As long as my German Shepard can jump in the back seat for a car ride, then my 2018 ride height is ok. He loves his car rides! I’ll be ok with a leveling kit as well. I think that 37’s might be a bit much though. He’s lazy and pretends he can’t get in...LOL!

Damn that big air dam bugs the hell out of me! I took mine off my f150! It looks better without it and it would just break off in snow or offroad! It's not enough to make a difference in mpg anyways!

I saw the F250 and F350 side by side at Sunstate Ford in Orlando and the F350 SRW diesel 4x4 was lower than the same model F250. I was surprised.
Ford told me that both the f250 and f350 were lowered on the 2020 model half an inch on the front and a inch and a half on the back but I don’t know about the f450
@Mjones, I think the f250 you were looking at was higher than that f350 because the higher the trim, the bigger the tires.
What is the overall height of the 2020. Ground to the top (black things on the cab). What size garage will it fit in.

Good ole fashioned con job regarding the height... Tremor is the 2019 ride height... The 2020 tailgate has a cheap work truck look in my opinion.

Slight improvement in MPG with the lower ride height also. And better handling if you put a slide in Camper on it.
Looks like the cab clearance lights have a clear lens for 2020 vs the previous orange lens, which is an improvement in my opinion.
Also curious if the snowplow prep package changes the front height at all?

A $79.00 alignment fix mine I had a half inch toe out 23000 miles now wobble free.

Ford needs to bring back the MANUL SHIFT ON THE FLOOR 4 WHEEL DRIVE SYSTEM. Not everyone like the electric shift on the fly they have.

Still an option. I’ve seen brand new ones with manual 4x4 just not on the most premium models. Mostly xlt trucks.

Love the 2020s! I’ll wait for the 2021 f150 as I don’t need a super duty right now. Also has the interior changed much on the 2020s?

Chrome Pkg is available in both years, the 2020 in this video doesnt have it so it has black hooks, body color mirror caps and no running boards.

M D Yes, Hydro Electric Turbo actuator in the previous and this is all electric.
