I just picked up the random orbit sander and thought I’d check to see how mine spins before using it. It spins but, there’s no orbit...it’s stationary. Should I return it or call the company?

@William Lipinski these tools aren’t for professionals they’re for homeowners. A typical diy person isn’t going to spend 200 dollars on a drill the use twice a year.
@@zackmann9364 get real man the hart tools are a third the durability of pro grade and 80% of the price of pro grade.
I had some tools stolen from me at work and thought hey I'll just buy cheap tools and started with just the impact and drill, now I own almost everything battery operated from Hart, they have held up for more then a year in a brutal industrial atmosphere and hands down they are fantastic. Not only have they held up but they have been dependable the battery life really isn't bad on the big guys. I do industrial maintenance so I abuse mine every day. Your video is awesome guys.

Lol I own a flooring company and when I started my company I was on a tight budget so I started buying hart tools from Walmart and a lot of my friends in the trade used to laugh at me but I honestly love them I haven’t had any issues I even use their pack out stack system , shout out to Hart ✌🏾 you guys have made me a lot of money
Amazing how tradesmen feel the need to have a brand name tool, it kills me to see how having a yellow,blue or red tool defines them. I agree that if you depend on them for your livelihood some cheaper tools aren’t worth it but there are countless tools from other manufacturers that will do the same task…and last for much cheaper cost. I use my tools hard, hard use them as not intended, drop and toss around with no concern for them and have ruined some but most hold up. Not defending Hart as i have no experience with them but my comment is for the haters to Hart and similar brands. I have a yellow drill driver that i have had issues with the chuck and motor smells like burnt electronics every time i use it where B&D drill driver has served for 6 trouble free years.
It’s more about the person who uses the tool than the tool brand. High end tools are no substitute for skill but, can be helpful. There are DIYers that are made fun of for owning high end tools because they are not using them to their full potential but, there is nothing wrong with DIYers owning and using high end tools too.
When theft is a risk which it almost always is in urban work environments, no one steals the cheaper tools, and if they do, so what? Too often I hear about an entire toolbox going missing with many thousands lost and no ability to get back to work quickly thereby doubling or tripling the cost of the loss. I use Ryobi just because that what I bought first 20 years ago, so was kind of trapped into that ecosystem, but I've never had a failure either. Glad to see Hart is making the grade. I just watched a review of their mechanics tools, and I was really surprised at how good they are too.
@MSK390-It’s not necessarily an ego thing, rather more a performance thing (or in the case of pickup trucks, a generational thing). I’m in the generation that watched the cordless market begin to develop. I can remember when a finish carpenters’s tools were a Yankee screwdriver and a Sioux angle drill. My Dad’s first driver was 7.2 volt that had no removable battery and didn’t last long. He bought two 3/8” cordless Black & Decker drills when they came out. The battery packs weren’t long-lasting on them. Then Makita hit the market with their 9.6v stick battery drill. That was my first cordless tool purchase. At one point, I had 5 or six batteries for it. After trying to install metal siding on a pole barn and the batteries not keeping up, I moved on to a a couple Hitachi 12v drills. Hitachi didn’t have the battery life at the time, so I tried a Porter-Cable 14.4v drill. It had the same problem, plus something broke in the front end. I went back to Makita for their 18v platform, but wore out the clutch driving concrete screws. Next I tried DeWalt and by this time, impact drivers were kitted with the drill/drivers. DeWalt gave me the best battery life ever and that’s why I’m deeply invested in their line.
they work fine, Milwaukee is great if you can afford it but if you can't Hart works great
As a Milwaukee guy, I’ve started picking up a few Hart tools here and there. They certainly are nicely made tools. For some reason, we are taught to buy the latest and greatest. This is why so many people are unhappy. I look forward to buying some more Hart tools.

I have the same vac, I call it "Hart-2D2". I added a muffler a, a fine dust filter and fine dust collection bag and works great inside the house and the garage.

little disclosure, i am a team red person doing facilities maintenance. when Hart first came out i was super skeptical because it was a walmart tool brand and hyper tough gave walmart tools a bad name (just from word of mouth not personal experience) and i would not even consider even purchasing any tools from walmart. UNTIL this video. the integrity that these two bring are unquestionable and with the words they say about this line of products, it seriously has made me reconsider because they gave it a quality test run of a year of hard use. their feedback along with the customer service side that they informed us on gives me a good impression and also clarity into the quality of the tools and the overall business that is HART and their mindset of quality tools at an affordable price that brings to a much larger potential customer base with an easy cost of entry into a new tool platform. with that being said i will not hesitate to give them a try should i ever be in a pinch to try a new to me tool brand and will approach that line of tools with an open mind of in all likelyhood eventually trying a few of these tools out should the situation call for it. well done Hart you've changed my perspective. Bravo
My son is a diehard Milwaukee tool guy - as a homeowner who is over 60 I wanted a tool I could handle - started w a hedge trimmer - very scared I’d have to return but my confidence grew w every hart addition !
I like I can get a lighter weight yard tool !

While I know this was a sponsored video by Hart and therefore biased, I still appreciate your overview of the products. I am just starting out on furniture flipping and pallet projects, looking for affordable tools that are universal, lightweight,, and expandable. That said, these seem to fit the bill, and at $198.00 on sale for their 6-piece kit is a steal (even with being brushed). Looking forward to seeing all the new products Hart releases. Just wanted to follow up on this post and say I did buy a full Hart setup and it does not disappoint. Highly recommend.
@@GabrielYeager My wife brought some home and I though "junk" but our drill has held up, we have a one of the blowers and hedge trimmers. I trust them enough and since they share the parent company with Milwaukee and Ryobi ..I'm good with them.

The same company that makes Milwaukee tools makes Hart tools so Hart would be really good quality because Milwaukee is really good quality Hart would actually be better than Craftsman today Craftsman has lost a lot of quality over the years whenever they started manufacturing their tools in China some brands have held up well being Chinese made but Craftsman didn’t unfortunately.

I just purchased a Hart impact drill from Walmart yesterday. It does the job flawlessly. Wasn't sure about the color scheme but hey, I wasn't sure about my PS5 color scheme at first either but it's something you fall in love with and there's no going back.
I saw a tape measure in the middle of the road as I was pulling up to a red light. I decided to help keep my city clean and I quickly got out and grabbed it. It is a Hart 30' heavy duty model. I don't know how many times it was ran over but it looks very rough, chewed up all over. I still have it, it works perfectly and even the belt clip works fine.
Great shape for one year of use you guys seem to be super gentle on them. I don’t even have the brushless version and I have “beat the crap out of them”. No hiccups once I put a 4AH on. The others like to overheat quickly.
I love the Hart Tool Line. I am more of an auto enthusiast/ restoration and Hart has been good to me. I bought my line in 2019 and absolutely love it. I use my tools without mercy and Hart has held up better than my other tools such as Ryobi and a few others. I wish Hart would reach out to me to profile that part of their line for a channel that I am going to start. Well done!

How’s the battery orbital sander?
If I were new to power tools or I’m in a bind, I would definitely consider Hart tools. However, I sprung for TTI’s high end offering which the Milwaukee Fuel line of M18 and M12 tools because I want the best performing and most robust tools and I love TTI. I’m glad that TTI currently has a tool brand for everyone’s budget.
I like the hart gloves with the impact pads on the knuckle part of the gloves good for mechanic work when u try to break a bolt loose or smacking your knuckles on engine parts
I’m a tool nut I personally may never get hart but when my mom and sister look up power tools and see tons of options and ask what to get and I know what level they are at and hart is perfect to recommend and it’s easier to get to pick up more tools when there at Walmart instead of taking another trip to a hardware store
I just saw a vid comparing ryobi to hart and tbh they are the same thing and ryobi is cheaper. Do you like green or blue?
@@Jacob-jc2gr with the deals you can get with ryobi yes it can be cheaper but tool to tool hart is a little cheaper and yes they are very similar cause they are both under the same parent company and my mom hates green

The brushless ½ in. drill and impact with two 2ah batteries will be here tomorrow and two 4 ah batteries and 4 battery charger the day after. I see good testing and reviews for Hart so might as well give 'em a shot... especially considering I got a three year replacement plan for 23 dollars.

They're made by the same manufacturer that makes Milwaukee. They're great I've had the brushless drill and impact doing solar installation for over a year with them and they are built tough. The impact has fallen off the roof many times and still works flawlessly.

The best heated jacket I had, had the Battery in the front approximately halfway up. It was great, it never got in the way. You never sat on it :). I miss that jacket. ( it got stolen and to expensive to buy a new one). Live confidently and peacefully
I got the brushless drill/ 1/4 inch impact driver for $70 at Walmart about a month ago! And I love it

Great review and very thorough! I have Hart outdoor equipment (40v mower, trimmer and blower). This has led me to delve into their power tools for my upcoming Rv remodel. Earned a sub from me and HART has definitely earned my business based off the reviews here and my own experience with their other products. When that’s the only thing stopping me from buying the miter saw from heart is the simple fact it’s not a sliding miter saw as soon as they come out with that I’m buying it. Other than that, I own all tools and I love them. This was a great honest review.
They are awesome DIY and or good starter tools for the pro. Pros work to produce and against the clock so the higher end features are what pros pay for. I'm a professional in my trade(master automotive technician) and I find that SOME pros tend to be pre Madonna on certain things including tools.
As far as your angle grinder, that is probably the most versatile tool I own. You put a grinding disc on, you can shave/grind anything.....put a cutting disc on, nothing can stop you! Put a flap disc on, and you can very gently or very "Hulk" like sand stuff! I own maybe 4 cutting discs, 4 grinding discs, and about 100 flap discs. Flap discs are the most underrated attachment a grinder can use. They work for any job. There's literally ALWAYS a reason to pull mine out!

I bought one of the 40v, 4ah weed whackers. I cut 3acres with a riding mower and this weed eater. Plenty of power, plenty of battery, light, very little vibration, etc. I also like the battery indicator. When my Dewalt drill takes a crap, I'm going to go with replace it with a Hart. For what they cost, they are worth trying.
Honestly this was my first choice of tools, i was literally going to go buy this but I stopped at lowes of curiosity and one of there great deals pulled me into the craftsman line and I'm happy with them but at least I know hart can be a second choice if any goes wrong!
I always had craftsman but I always get different brand tools and use them all the time but mostly craftsman but hart looks good for home improvements and bit of mechanic work

For black friday this year (2023), a Hart 4 piece tool set including 2 batteries, Drill, impact, reciprocating saw, led light, charger, carrying bag is going on sale for 98 dollars! After seeing your video, I'm going to definitely pick them up. I have a 15+ year old Makita drill and impact set that still works well, its going to be interesting to see how they compare. Currently I have the stainless steel hart shop vac that i use daily for HOURS on end at my detail shop, it is the best shop vac I've ever had. The suction is phenomenal, the features are great, and its been extremely reliable. I've had it for probably a year and a half by now, still works perfectly even after countless bumps. I much prefer it over my original shop vac. I also have the 270 Pc. mechanics set, which has been just as good as my craftsmen set. In fact, the hart set has a much nicer carrying box. I really like hart, i feel like they provide a VERY solid line for the price. They have a lot of upscale features, for bottom of the barrel pricing. And, truth be told, in my experience, reliability has been great. I don't like a tool that breaks a ton.
Great review. I have had Hart tools, about 20, including lawn equipment, batteries and chargers,well as the 20VOLT RC truck. All my lawn tools are hung on a Hart wall mount tool track, for over a year. I too am hard on them and they still out perform my DeWalt. I can provide pics as proof if requested.

I am a beginning woodworker and a beginning technician for Polaris machines and I think I'm going to start with hart for my first tools.i am also a bus driver so the mini blower will be so easy to use on my bus amazing video imma go buy hart tools
Got the chop saw on clearance for $45. Was building a dog pen and got caught in a rain storm and forgot to move the chop saw and by the time I seen it, it has been plugged up for an hour in the rain. I waited a few weeks for it to dry out and then plugged it in and a year later is my go to for taking it on the job site. I did have to adjust the gate and the 0°but after that it's been spot on and has plenty of power also feels half the weight of the DeWalt. At half the price and clean cuts the work at different angles it'll be my new go to if I get another year or two
I first brought hart as a Father’s Day gift n he loves it.. I recently brought my own drill with the kit that comes with the drill bits extra batteries

17:16 was at my local grocery store and found this Hart Inflator with the 20V 4.0ah amp battery in a shopping cart one day, got a brand new Hart battery charger off EBay for only 25 dollars, charged the battery back up, put it back on the inflator, and now I keep it in the trunk of my car just in case.

Hey watched your this video and had a question for you guys. I have the hart mitre saw and have had a real hard time getting it to cut square. Was just wondering what you guys did to get it set up right. You mentioned in this video that you had to get it set up right. Was just wondering if you had any advice. I have adjusted the fence square with the blade. But when making cuts and checking the board i cut it dosent come out square. Was their another adjustment you guys made to help with that? Thanks
I bought the tire inflator/flashlight kit just to see how the Hart products were built. The main thing I wanted was the flashlight, but the tire inflator really surprised me. It works really well, I haven't turned my compressor on in a long time. I later bought the drill/impact driver kit and I've used the crap out of them remodeling our house. The impact driver is my favorite tool right now. I'm looking at the brushless 1/2" impact wrench for my next purchase as I do the work on our vehicles as well. Hart is a fine brand, comparable to ryobi it seems

I like the tape measure with all the numbers on it I'm not good at reading a tape measure I don't know but that tape measure came in handy for me....other then I'm good...wonder if hart will make rest of the power tools and impact wrenches brushless as well
I have a few HART tools and they work great. As a Walmart associate I shop at Walmart every week and will be getting a few more of the HART tools.
I bought the drill and impact set brush moters loved it only problem I've had is a battery died after 6 months
i love my hart tools going to expand throughout there year. i am hoping to have everything by march of next year
I might actually look into some of the power tools from. Maybe not the drill/impact though. Like at 150 why not go a little better. But you get the whole kit for the sander or the circular saw for less than a hundred bucks. And if you don’t already have an entire arsenal of tools and not trying to make a living off of them sounds like a solid option. All I have from them is some screw drivers and a drill bit kit and a recip blade. All did what I needed around the house though.
Just bought the kit that includes drill impact reciprocating saw and led light for $153.00 with the two year service plan from Walmart also came with two batteries quick charger and carrying bag
I have Porter Cabel 20 volt lithium tools. I really am a believer in the PC brand, but they are not being carried by retailers with a few exceptions. I really don’t want to start a new tool system, but Hart is affordable, reviews are good, and they are coming out with multiple tools for use with their 20 volt platform. Hercules is another brand on my radar. I don’t need contractor grade tools because the work I do is not precision. Durability is the factor with me and I like the review on the 1 year usage. Really helps.
PC is exclusive with Tractor Supply Company and Hart is exclusive to Wal Mart.
I have questions on the orbital sander. I have one but it doesn't seem to spin that fast, if at all. I know it's not going to sand as fast as my corded Porter Cable but this is leaving swirl marks when it jerks around. Does yours do this? I sent a video to Hart and they said it was fine and it's that slow so it doesn't leave swirl marks, but it still doesn't seem right. I have 30 years of woodworking in one way or another so I've used a few different sanders. But when a sander says orbital I would think it should spin. How well does yours spin and does it leave swirl marks?
The brushless impact and drill kit is only $99 online can’t beat that price. Must buy for DIY I own it and happy. Recently bought the 12v HYPER TOUGH Kit $ 88 Online also happy with it..

I've bought several 20v hart tools including leaf blower, brushless variable speed and impact drills, mini shop vac, jigsaw, rotary tool, dust buster, flashlight, 4 port charger, fan, tire inflator and I have to agree the jigsaw is the outstanding performer, also love the inflator the rotary tool crapped out on me pretty quick, the fan seems to discharge batteries too much and renders them unchargeable, and overall my main issue with Hart are the batteries they are just too fickle something happens to them either they over heat or over discharge or something that makes the charger refuse to charge them and just stop working in the tools either I'll get red error light on charger or solid green fully charged light then won't work in any tools even tho multimeter says it's charged. I'm talking 6 out of 10 batteries crapped out on me in less than a year and I'm not a heavy duty user but and in the 5 or so yrs since I began purchasing Hart tools I've amassed 10 batteries and of the ten, 2 4ah, 2 2ah and 2 1.5ah batteries are junk useless they all take and keep a charge when charged off another battery but won't work in charger or tools.
Very good review, I have seen the tool line, and was curious. I'm by no means a professional, so these seem to be a good option, as my tools that are old wear out, to replace with these. My only concern is, will Walmart continue to carry them? I know how they will carry stuff for a while and then, boom, they no longer have that brand. So that would be my main reservation, which is why I have not purchased any of them yet
I recently bought their weed eater. Truly impressed I’m a hard person to please. Come to find out Milwaukee makes HART for Walmart. Quality

Heated jackets???? I can't lie I'm jealous! I have my own paint/auto body RUclips channel and I think I will do a review of their reciprocating saw soon. Now off to Walmart to get one! Oh and as far as the color go's. I might give it a custom paint job! Yes hart tools have a place in the tool market. they have good toolss. I think Walmart marketing has some work to do to get to the where we think go to walmark and get x tool. On the plus side they have a ton of locations, later hours them other stores and their web site is better than most… The negatives they were late to the market and those of us are invested in other battery platforms and are not going to change. The other negative is that when I want to do a DIY project we go to the local big box hard to buy the supplies and since we are there we buy tools there also.
I agree with all of this. There are more Walmarts in the US then Lowes and Home Depot COMBINED. That's crazy. But the biggest issue as a DIYer, is the lack of materials at Walmart. I don't see them adding a small lumber section anytime soon, but that sure would be cool if they did!
I have been fully invested in Milwaukee for years, so I am not changing that. However, the HART tools do seem to be a nice DIY brand. The hand tools also look to be a good buy as well.
Yeah we really didn’t get into that discussion at this point. We’ve been using many of their handtools but none of them enough that we felt we could discuss them. HART is currently sending us a bunch of mechanics tools that we do plan to use for several projects and will be sure to let you know what we think of those.

@@jackcass3552 more accurate to say same company owns both brands. TTI owns Milwaukee, Ryobi, and Hart, also licenses Ridgid power tool name in North America. Tools aren’t necessarily all made in same factories, much of that is contracted out. But they do tend to use the same contractors for most items.
@@geoffstrickler I'd it's made in china it's most likely made in the same factory. One assembly line is for Milwaukee, then the other is for other brand. Cost cutting measures goes into the other brands
The shopVac bt HART is absolutely amazing! It will suck up a Chinamans toupeé! I have used many different ones, but the HART one is awesome!
Maybe you got a defective sander. I also bought one and it worked perfect for me even when i put pressure on it still spun perfectly well !! The only thing they need to work on in my
opinion is their batteries heat up too much.
Since its made by TTI who also makes the Ryobi, does the dust buster use the same filter?
Honestly I bought a hart drill just because it was fairly cheap and I needed a drill. I was actually surprised how good the drill was not the greatest but very good. Now I have a lot of hart tools. Just got a lawnmower today my gas one died on me last week. Hopefully it’s as good as the other tools.
And do I see a Diablo sand net disc on that sander?

...Not really...not in the customer service area!...that's exactly the problem with Hart..they may be just about on par with Ryobi and Kobalt...but Home Depot and Lowe's will take care of you if you have a problem...Walmart will NOT!....trust me, I know...just try for yourself...Lowe's and H.D. will make it right, Walmart associates(who know nothing about tools)will give you the Deer-In-The-Headlights look or the runaround...ditto with the customer service/return clerks and even the store managers...nope, run from these, you can do better...even Harbor Freight offers better customer service, and at least they ARE a tool store....
Hart is Ryobi!
Coming from someone who has used the heavy hitters like dewalt and Milwaukee and now own the Ryobi HP line up. Hart will not be giving Ryobi HP a run…maybe the older versions but I have been incredibly impressed with new ryobi stuff. The cross platform compatibility is insane.
Now seeing this channel how would you compare this line up vs the harbour freight's Bauer line up the only issue is the chuck with the drills but Bauer has a pretty decent warranty. some feed back would be nice if there is, forgive me for the late chime...

Hart was smart to hook up with TTI rather than some no name company overseas that handles ODM's. You can see a lot of Ryobi style cues in the line, and that's not a bad thing. I mean they already got brushless going. I mean outside of Lumber, Wal Mart can become a one stop shop for legit tool items while getting a gallon of milk and some socks, lol.
I got an early fathers day gift this year the impact driver 2 speed drill and Sawzall. Ok I don't know if this is normal. While using the drill and saw. If I'm really getting into it. It will just cut out on me but if I wait a second or it will start working again. And the clutch in the 2 speed drill when I set the dial to drill it will not lock in drill works fine in speed 2 I can drill a 3 inch screw into a PT 4x4 but not in speed 1.
Is anyone else having issues with the Hart 20v rinse sprayer? I just picked up a brushless 4 tool set on sale this week.
On the circular saw, what I find on high end saws is a thick solid base, and the bevel control is metal. I see the base is thin, is the bevel and thickness pieces metal or plastic?
Both metal. They're solid enough. The base could be a bit thicker, but again, it's got the job done over and over so I can't complain. I just wish there was a cleaner way to adjust the depth besides loosening and tightening a nut.
I've enjoyed your year of content using these tools, and like the full year later review. I looked at Hart when I started my power tool collection a year ago right as they launched, but ended up going with another brand because the Hart line wasn't quite filled out at launch (plus I also didn't like the stock charger either). Good to see they've expanded the line.
Since both Hart and Ryobi are made by TTI, I've read in a few places that the Hart tools might be older or step down Ryobi models in new Hart casings. Do you feel like that is the case or did TTI make Hart their own line with their own designs?
Good question Joshua. HART has its own development team. They said these are all new tools engineered just for HART. I have used a lot of Ryobi tools and never once have I felt like the HART tools were a step down in any way. Ryobi recently launched their new HP tools that are focused at “value pro“ and they are certainly more powerful than the HART, but they’re also more expensive. They’re really intended for trades people without a lot of cash. I completely understand why you may have skipped on HART as a brand new line. I am anxiously awaiting new tool releases from HART this year and can’t wait to see where this line goes. Fortunately HART agreed to sponsor us for our second season, so we have a lot more HART yet to come! Thanks for watching dude.

I have had my Hart drills for over a year and they are great so I wanted to try a Hart weed eater. It lasted about 3 months and burned up. Customer service was awful. When they finally answered I was refered somewhere else. I was refused a confirmation number so I could take it to a repair place. Don't know if I am done with Hart or not.
Just discovered the channel. Like Walmarts idea here.

Yes. We use Dremel bits with ours fairly often, because I already had a bunch.
wondering if all of these praise these can be said for the Hyper Tough line too. so disappointing Walmart didnt request to have these tools use the same battery setup
I love the look of hart tools. I love the color. It reminds me of makita when they had cool colors then went to the regarded tealish color
My biggest gripe with battery tools is the batteries.
I only buy tools from one maker, so i only have one brand of batteries.
i carry a hart impact wrench in my car for changing tires i have it set up with a jack that i can operate with the impact tool and then take off the tire with the same impact tool.
This makes for fast tire changes and the batteries stay charged for months in my tire changing bag.
the only problem i have is it's hard to charge from a car or truck unless you have a inverter.
It's good he dropped the tools we need to know how tough they are plus most guys don't carry their tools daintily. I saw these tools in walmart the other day and I'm curious but not sure about quality... Can they beat Dewalt, Craftsman, Milwaukee, etc?

Comparing this brand to Dewalt or Milwaukee is like comparing Snap On tools to China cheap tools.
Im very tempted to replace my dewalt 18v drill with a new hart brushless one but if something happens i cant just go into walmart and they will give me a new one like Home depot will do with certain tools they sell so for convenience i may have to bypass Hart. The tools look good non the less.
I work construction...with dudes that say " nothing but yellow n black" lol..my hart tools perform just as good as the expensive ones. Love my hammer drill. Absolutely love the Hart brand
I have come from high-end Makita and DeWalt tools when I was a professional mechanic, but I don't wrench as much anymore. My last battery went bad on my Makita and I needed a replacement fast and cheap and bought the brushless kit. The drill was fine, if not loud, but the impact was..... Well, it's powerful but the trigger is HORRENDOUS. I felt like I had very little control, it was either barely spinning or full-send. Maybe I got a bad one, but, it's too late to return it and I ended up losing it in a move. I didn't even notice, ended up buying another drill cuz it worked better.
I actually like the look, the colors of them and if I was a new homeowner or beginner DIYer I'd consider them. I'm sure Home Depot isn't happy with them competing with Ryobi. I did just grab a 5 tier shelf by Hart 6 feet tall for $35 compared to $69 for Craftsman.
Trust me..Ryobi isn't gonna be affected by these cheap ass tools. I've looked at them and used them...low budget Walmart stuff, even lower than black and decker...these are for people who are strictly once in awhile homeowner types.
These tools actually ARE Ryobi/Ridgid tools. Hart is a TTi subsidiary. Look into how related Lowe’s, Wal-Mart, and Home Depot are. There’s a reason they’re usually all close by. This isn’t competition, it’s another option. I would say the Kobalt 24V stuff is an upgrade (especially the XTR line) but we don’t know how long Kobalt or Hart will last.
I believe Hart tools are owned by TTI. The same company that owns Milwaukee, Rigid, Ryobi. I like all of those brands. At work I use a Milwaukee, in the house we have Hart and they've been great.

I know this video was shot a while ago. But got to say, can’t believe you forgot what you can use the mini-blower for. You can blow the water off your motorcycle after washing it. It allows you to ride right after washing it, you can blow the water out of all the little acres where you cant dry it, like the motor fines, etc.
I love Hart tools I have several but the angle grinder is useless. I've killed 3 of them all within a 2 week period. All the other tools I have have held up and are Co tinuing to be great but they need to redesign the grinder for sure.
Personally I really love the color scheme!
Man im in industrial maintenance and i use impacts and drills everyday i have had the brushed ones an upgraded to brushless have the wet dry vac as well my co workers have Milwaukee and dewalt even they brag on my HART tool HART for the win
I have the Milwaukee M18 suitcase vacuum, first model. I use it for cleaning up after I drill holes in metal network cabinets, cut holes in walls to install network jacks and such, and to vacuum out computers, servers, switches and other network gear. I don't know why, but I never think to empty it. Well, the other day, I noticed that the suction was way down on it, so I opened it up and it was packed! After emptying it and cleaning the filter, I think it's at least 5 pounds lighter and sucks way better.

Idk at $159 for the drill driver 18 volt you can usually get Milwaukee deals for that or $199 on sale. I think I’d pay the extra $40
Way late to the party but I love my 40v Hart outdoor tools! ONLY thing i absolutely hate is the price of the batteries. I feel like it is the old inkjet printer and ink game where they can sell the tools dirt cheap because people will need the batteries which cost a TON. We are talking a 6AH 40v battery at $200 which is more than buying the pole saw with battery kit or almost any other kit. Batteries are just priced WAY too high especially for a Walmart set (IN MY OPINION-I know people will freak).
Having said that I am actually looking at replacing my Craftsman 19.2v old cordless set as the batteries are shot and aftermarket ones just dont last and I am looking at the Hart stuff. Might go Ryobi or Rigid just because of the massive sales they have with getting tools and batteries a lot cheaper where Hart doesn't seem to do that.
So almost 2 years late to the party my only complaint with Hart is the battery price. Tools work great! My neighbor borrowed the pole saw for his nephew to use who is an actual tree trimmer/landscaper/whatever you call tree people and he was impressed at how well it worked!
