Fluffy Milk Bread Recipe / Dinner Rolls Recipe:
- 350 gr All Purpose Flour ( 2 2/3 cups)
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- 7 gr Dry Yeast ( 1 packet)
- 2/3 tsp Salt
- 200 gr Warm Milk (3/4 cup + 2 tbsp)
- 30 gr Butter (1/4 stick)
NOTE: The consistency of your dough may vary depending on the protein content and other aspects of your flour. IF your dough seems dry, you can add up to 2-3 tbsp more milk until the dough comes together. Start by adding JUST 1 tbsp more milk and adjust from there.

tried this recipe today and it came out nice and chewy! i ended up having to add more milk to get the consistency right, and in the end it didn’t come out as fluffy, but it was still soft. i recommend adding more sugar for flavor, as well as adding a light honey drizzle over the top once it’s done!

Adding more sugar actually slows the yeast down ...happened with me ...if you love sweet breads and about to increase sugar in the recipe then use osmotolerant yeast to get a beautiful rise

I am soooooo happy that I doubled up the recipe even if it was my first time making this. The yield of 1 recipe is 12pcs. Right from the oven, I ate 3 pcs right away! My hubby ate 4pcs! And my 3y/o ate 2pcs! The hubby raves about this bread so much that he asked me to bake another batch when it’s finished. I often bake bread weekly, but by far this one is the best! Baking is a very precise activity. For that reason I’m hopeless at it and can never bring myself to do cakes, pastries and bread . Envy those with such patience and skills.

I have to say, I made this dough twice this week, and it is the best one I've ever made,the recipe is simple, the secret to best dough is knead until you can't knead anymore. I used this dough to make the rolls and steamed bun and my 6 years old have her own batch and made a nutella braid. It's a keep sale recipe.

I'm having this for dinner tonight. I was skeptical about adding the cornstarch on top, but did it anyway and it just made the bread look better and does not affect the taste. Thanks for this recipe! @@jessieleighhendry4678 usually once mixed with liquid you are supposed go let it sit for a few minutes. Like 5minutes. Have a look at other recipes to compare. I haven't tried this one yet but I'd let the yeast sit for 5-7minutes before mixing.

Tried it ✔️ it was absolutely wonderful and felt like I was eating clouds ☁️ 😋 . Taste on point but I added a bit more sugar so I can enjoy it alone!! Will definitely do it many more times .🤤

How many tbsp of sugar? I was thinking 5 but idk if that would be too sugary..? Because its 2 more than the suggested amount
Master Maker Yes 5 tbsp was perfect !! Not too sweet trust me , its 5/6 tbsp for the whole batch .

1st batch i use warm water above 35 degree Celsius...was over fermented...but still taste good.
Today my warm water at 28 degree Celsius. Came out perfect :)) soooo happy.

I've been on a Philly cheese-steak kick for for the past 2 weeks or so (I've made some with beef, some with chicken white meat, some with chicken thighs) and my favorite rolls that I make for them is... Japanese milk bread! :D

@@emmasgoodies The Japanese milk bread rolls are so delicious and soft and fluffy! :D I like making the cheese-steaks with sauteed onions, jalapenos (or sometimes other hot peppers), bell peppers and mushrooms. That's my fav! I've also been using different cheeses and found that smoked gouda is *really* good with chicken. YUM! :D

Oh wow I tried them today turned our so soft and nice.
I added few tbsp more milk and a few tbsp of extra sugar after they came out from oven I kept lid on them for 10 min to retain moisture. Brilliant recipe 👏

i cooked these on top of my stove because my oven is broken and i filled mine with strawberry jam and drizzled some icing on top it was DELICIOUS thanks for this recipe it’s the most easiest Buns to make !
How did you cook it on top the stove? My oven is broken as well 🙁
Place them in a pan about 10-15cm high and place about 6 of these in a time 5 outside and one in the middle (this way it fits perfect) then cover with a lid on low flame and let them cook for about 20 mins check every 5-10 mins then flip them over and repeat on the other side for 10 mins and Voila Also grease ur pan first so it doesn’t stick
I'm making this bread so that i can make the ultimate cheese burger out of it. This bread should up the flavor 10 fold
