D'autres RUclipsr américains en on parlé, c'est plus que probablement un problème software à corriger. D'ici 1 à 2 semaines ils devraient avoir trouvé ce qui merde.
Please update your pimax play version. When you open your crystal light, please set "room setting", throught your VST video, if your envrionment is very dark, heaset tracking will have problems. If you have any tracking questions your can connect me, even through I am still on vacation.
same problem here as well. One airport is almost fine ... the next does not work at all. In ORY the plane was on PC already airborne while in headset not moving at all. Sucks baldy
According to my PIMAX contact to solve this issue, a new firmware is expected on Friday June the 14th and should fix it. As soon as the firmware is available, PIMAX will send it to me to test.
@@xraycharli what is your CPU? For me, I played more than an hour today and I had 2 short time issues. That is much better than before as I had 1 issue per 2 mn.
@@gilchecksix RX4090 and AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 32Ram I have tried differend airports. Smaller and bigger today. Take off and landing mostly. 5 flights ok and 10 better not to talk about bad. I tried out as well OpenVR toolkit, but that was really not useable. Last 5 attemps like sitting in backbox which turns around my head.
If video is not 30-40FPS，headset tracking maybe have enough resouce, you can try to deduce video resolution and have big FPS, than test tacking is good enough?
I just got mine and day 1 same thing its not usable at all. Was there ever a fix? Theres no Quality control at pimax cause if someone tested these for 10 minutes they would realize its unusable
All the issues I had at the beginning have been solved. Check the things below: - Update Pima Play AND Firmware - If tracking issues, select 50 Hz for camera refresh rate - Select 90 Hz and Lock Half Framerate What type of CPU and graphic card do you have? If CPU is at 100%, it can be a problem.
@@peppetheking7 I had this issue at the beginning. Update your Pimax play and the firmware. Then select 50hz for camera refresh rate. And it should be OK.
Just received mine yesterday and I have the exact same problem, FPS is fine, headtracking gets worse and worse as time goes on. It's unusable. Plugged my Quest 3 back in and it's perfect. Edit: I ended up getting a refund.
@@marc-andremorin9368 Sorry Mate, sent it back 3 weeks ago, still waiting on refund - been a nightmare dealing with them. Wish I had good news. Giving it until Monday then I need to contact a lawyer to try and get my money back. I think they are using inferior sensors for motion tracking within the headset, just my opinion though. Hope you get it sorted. 👍
@@gilchecksix Maybe look around your room for reflective surfaces (mirrors, glass objects) anything that can reflect light, this could cause tracking issues. Also, if you room is the same color with very little objects in your room for the headset to know where it is, maybe put little stickers (black electrical tape would work) on the walls, this would give the tracking something to home in on.
@@gilchecksix Interesting, if it is caused by USB port especially if your Motherboard isn't putting enough power through USB, then maybe using a POWERED USB-3 hub might help to get more power to the Crystal Light. I would try this, or a PCIe USB card that takes power for a SATA cable to make sure the Crystal gets the power it requires to work properly.
Middle of october, problem persists exactly like described in the video. Happening in iRacing in a fixed position in good lighting with contrast elements in multiple distances.

Renderquality customize to 0,8 Fixed Fovated Rendering off Smart Smoothing off Look halv frame rate off Hidden Area Mask off Vive compatibility off set on Steam VR resolution down to 80% - 70% --- I have changed to RAM 64B DDR5 6000 set by 5800 XMP. Since then picture get more crisp and a bit more smother. I fly only with VR since I have it.
reduce resoluition dwon to 80% do not use OpenVR Toolkit If you have MSI Mystery or any other MSI software remove from your PC let me know if problem still stay with you

C’est un achat. J’avais payé en précommande dans les tous premiers jours. Donc j’étais dans les premiers servis.

I have 60 FPS in War Thunder and tracking is awful.

@@gilchecksix Where do you select 50 Hz camera refresh rate? I do not have that option in Pimax Play eventhough I have the latest version.
I have a 2 dof movement and i need to recenter it all the times while driving. Getting crazy

Update your Pima play and firmware. Then select 50hz refresh rate for camera in Pima Play.
@@gilchecksix Play was updated, but the 50hz helped some of the issues. still needs alot of work and updates

Is your environment is darak? May be your crystal light is 3DOF not 6DOF？
It is not dark. I have a big windows close to me.

@@jackr.749 It seems to be due to USB 3.0 port.
I will check tomorrow and I will make a video of it.
My flights today were better.

Problem solved. Now 60fps without any problem each flight each place each condition. RTX4090 AMD 7 7800X3D.
