He will learn from it all. After a fight like that a fighter will get comfort with family he will feel it adjust and come back stronger, will probably take time to heal but I can see him being undisputed in the near future.

Beterbiev is, on top of being a smart tactician, just stupidly physically gifted. He barely needs to commit on his punches to generate power, so he's always balanced. He uses his arms and slight head movement very well for defense and is just crazy fuel efficient. Plus it looks like he has rocks under his skin.

Props to Bivol man. The dude executed a perfect game plan. He maneuvered on top of the ring and commanded the flow of the match through his foot work. More active on jabs, power shots to the body and to the head here and there at any sign of opening. You can even see Beterbiev getting confused as to when to throw his power punches since Bivol throws him off his rhythm. Not to discredit Beterbiev because I was also rooting for him but in what I have seen transpired on that match, I think Bivol win this match.
No i did not beterbiev was always on the attack! Putting pressure on Bivol. Moving forward. Bivol was a lot more on defense. And opening in the last second of the round. You have to be better to win on the champion that beterbiev is. But kudos to Bivol he is class.

The first 3 rounds Bivol looked fine yet his performance kept decreasing while Arturs performance kept increasing. At the end Artur dominated him.

Coaches tell a fighter you need a knockout all the time. To make sure they don’t coast the last couple rounds.
Look at Fury Usyk, Fury’s corner told him in the 10th/11th he was winning and he lost a split decision. If they had told him he needed a KO the outcome could have potentially been different.

Honestly, we saw the same thing in the Canelo fight. Canelo landed on Bivol's gloves all night, and they still gave him 5 rounds.
Beterbiev mostly landed on the gloves, and pierced the guard a little more than Canelo did. That extra bit of success gave him the win.
To me, Bivol landed the more impactful and impressive shots.

Beterbiev is, on top of being a smart tactician, just stupidly physically gifted. He barely needs to commit on his punches to generate power, so he's always balanced. He uses his arms and slight head movement very well for defense and is just crazy fuel efficient. Plus it looks like he has rocks under his skin.

Not all judges appreciate fighters who adopt a strategy of running, landing punches, and then retreating. The aggressor was awarded the victory, which is understandable, particularly considering the performance in the latter half of the match.
The "aggressor" didn't land clean punches...almost all of them were blocked.
