I also loved how in TASM, they incorporated more spider like movements. Like when he's fighting the lizard in the school in the first movie and wraps around him like an actual spider would webbing up their prey when webbing him up. It's literally just a few seconds but SO cool and one of my favorite scenes from the movie. As much of a Raimi fanboy I am, I really love and appreciate the Webb movies as well.

While a regular person _would_ have trouble swinging, they'd most likely lose their grip before their arm would rip off, but Spider-man's super strength is what prevents him from injuring himself during swinging. They even comment on it in TAS when he loses his powers temporarily. He tries swinging and injures himself and says he can't swing without his spider-strength.
His body is strong enough to lift 10 tons or more depending on the version, so supporting his own body weight is no problem at all. It's also why he's able to generate so much momentum by kicking his legs out when swinging. Basically like gymnasts do on the bars but with exponentially more energy.

I'm glad more people are talking about how dang good things like swinging is in the Amazing Spider-Man movies, they were so creative with some of it and it just felt *good*.
I especially like the talk how the suit in ASM2 is the best (in many ways but especially) for including the wrinkles and folds and the looseness, I really hate how smooth and fake looking the Tom Holland suits are. It's such a strange choice to cg the entire suit all the time, much like how for the Falcon and Winter Solider show they talked about how they did something similar for taking away the folds in Sam's Cap costume and I was so annoyed, the bts footage before it was "fixed" looked so much better and realistic.

Tom’s suits not having wrinkles actually makes a lot of sense. It isn’t a suit that peter has made like in raimi movies or tasm, but it has been given to him by tony stark, which is tech incorporated. If you remember homecoming, when he wore his suit it was all baggy and wrinkly but then he pressed his chest spider and it was like body fit. And the fabric doesn’t exactly seem like one in which you could get wrinkles. But I bet the suit that we got at the end of nwh would have wrinkles its made by peter, just like the one in beginning of homecoming

That also explains Connors desperation to use the serum on himself with no further testing. He was running out of time and resources and had to act fast. The ending of the film is fine, with blank recombinatory serum landing on random New Yorkers possibly to explain for the extreme choice of becoming super villains in the future.
As it is, there's some tie in with his parents being super spies who knew about this super spider, and oscorp is responsible for all the supers including Doc Ock... I'm sure they could make some nice stuff, but they'd be under a different set of restrictions with "real" people, since there's a limit to how much you can deform and bend a character that's supposed to be a real human, so they might employ more camera trickery like different angles to hide some things to make it feel more real.

I think the early 2000's may have been peak CGI so far. The reason was they spent as much time/effort on practical effects as they could and only filled in the gaps with CGI. This blend created the best effects. Even 2002 spiderman when he makes his first jump off the building is done practically and looks significantly better than the over-the-top CGI shown in 2017. But with movies like Dune Part 2 and The Batman getting back to the good blend between practical and CGI, hopefully we're trending back toward valuing practical effects.
