This is great, tired of this other channels that are actually selling strings and not reviewing it. Thanks. Would love to have the same with Toroline strings as well
Great review. I absolutely love Zero, which is my favorite string. I use it in a tight string pattern and it just opens the racket up. It's a bit on the stiff size, so a good alternative is Toroline Super Toro, which seems to play just slightly softer. Both are great strings.
Thank you! Yeah, I had Zero in the Gravity Pro and it really did make that 18x20 feel more open. I’m enjoying Toro Toro right now but have yet to try Super Toro.
Great review. Thought I should try the Sync, but after hearing what you said about the spin it sounds like Zero is the one I need to try. Would like you to do a review on ToroLine - especially the KPRO / KPOP /O-Toro ones.
"The truth about..." implies that we have been told lies by others. Which is not the case. Good ball pocketing is not exclusive to Sync. I am using a Zero 1.28/1.23 blend and it pockets like mad. Very lively though, I rarely dare to swing fully. Before that I tried a Zero/Sync blend. Slightly less pocketing, a little deader (yes, I am one of these hard hitting monsters that pop balls for breakfast) and equally good spin. But a tad erratic on the launch angle, the strings move on each other as much as THEY like, not as much as I expect. They even move on flat shots sometimes, I can hear them snapping back. I can play Zero/Sync for 5 weeks and it doesn't feel worn until it breaks. Zero 1.28/1.23 lasts shorter but announces its end by peeling of the cross string. My racquet is a diva in strings, I am glad to have found a well working setup. Won't change back, but I'm not sure which one (Zero/Sync or Zero 1.28 full bed) is better. Zero blend is too lively for me but can easily work if some power is welcome.
Very interesting to hear this. I have a 2024 Head Speed Pro (18/20) and I'm looking either at a full bed of Sync or a blend of Zero & Sync. In the blend, the guy who does my stringing suggests 48lbs for both. I like being able to hit right through the ball and the worry is that having Zero in the mains might take that away from me vs a full bed of Sync
@@davech07 I wouldn't recommend stringing the same tension. It will bend your racquet head. Maybe that's what you like, I don't know. I ended up using Sync in the crosses, Zero 1.28/1.23 is too lively for me at the end. I'm not sure if a shaped string is the right choice for you if you play "through the ball" (which means flat). Better try before ordering a reel.
@@sebastiandomagala9233 Hi Sebastian, thanks for your message. So are you suggesting dropping the tension of the Zero mains by a couple of lbs vs the the Sync crosses. Re 'hitting through the ball' I mean that I like to hit a full swing that ends over my shoulder (when I'm concentrating enough). I actually like to use a fair bit of spin most of the time but can still hit flat now and then. From what you're saying, it might be that Zero is too lively for me anyway. This stuff is never simple!
That’s a great question! I’d have to put Hyper-g in there and probably Confidential as well. Volkl Cyclone, Lynx Tour, and Toro Toro (which I’m experimenting with now) would all be candidates for that 5th spot.

A concise and clear review. You're skeptical and I trust that. Stay honest, Simms.
Thank you
thank you for the great honest review. I just can't trust other "reviewers" putting affiliate links in the descriptions.
Thank you
I just SUBSCRIBED bro love the review
Thank you!
PLS do a hybrid review of Zero x Sync. Trying to work out my setup in my Blade 98 v9's THX Brotha.

Would you happen to have tried Hyper-G Round? If so, how does stiffness and playability compare to Sync?
I have, it’s pretty similar but hyper-g round felt more muted.
What are the other strings in your top 5, out of curiosity?

Could you share your racket spec and tension?
Head Gravity Pro! I was stringing at 50-51lbs
@@simmstennis ic!!! Thanks for the reply!
thanks. What tension did you string at? Also what racquet model?
I strung them up at 50lbs in a Gravity Pro
