I've been thinking about moving from Head Hawk Power in my 2024 Speed Pro to either a full bed of Sync, or Zero-Sync hybrid. This has made up my mind for the hybrid. As my racquet is an 18-20, what tensions would you recommend? I ran 48lbs with the Hawk Power, which about right for me.

Did you find that Sync has more feel than Zero as advertised?

It has.
I didn't use Sync as a full bed, but in the crosses it does exactly what it is supposed to do.
After some getting used to it, there are no more surprises at all, my racquet is a lot more predictable than before.

Love the Zync comment. I appreciate that you mentioned the string tension.
I have this same hybrid string setup with the Zero mains and Sync crosses at 48 lbs on my Yonex Regna 98. I tend to hit both my forehand and backhand with a small amount of topspin. The strings are performing well. I will see how I play as the spring/summer season begins.

Took me some time to get used to. But then it just delivered and still does.

@@sebastiandomagala9233 interesting - I'm starting the same journey now - coming from full bed of Zero at 22kg... did you do any change in tension for the hybrid?

@@azmo1338 No, for testing reasons I didn't.
At the beginning it feels like Zero with less punch and less spin.
After three hours of playing the difference started to show.
Maybe it's me, I am not really known for being a consistent player.

Interesting...sounds a lot like the Yonex Poly Tour Spin (mains) and Poly Tour Pro (crosses) combo that Casper Ruud uses. It is a great combo too.
