    I use Re String 0 17g on the mains at 45 pounds, and Wasabi X by Toroline in the crosses at 40 pounds. Love both of these strings more than I can say.🎾

    For me the restring zero holds tension and better feel than hyper g. The snap back on this string is amazing compared to other poly string. Only other string that compares to restring zero is Toroline strings

    I have those strung for quite a while now. First racquet is 16g only, second racquet is a 16g/17g hybrid. Plays just awesome, even after all the time, still have the first string job in both racquets.
    But the 17g in the crosses is my first ever poly that frays.

    I play with ReString Zero in a Gravity MP and EZONE 98 at 52 lbs and absolutely love it. Holds tension very well and crazy amounts of spin. I'm just as happy with it at the net as I am at the baseline. As Harry said, it's very predictable.

    I play almost exclusively now with Restring Zero. I think it's fantastic. It lasts incredibly long, has great spin, and has a nice crisp feel. It's the only poly I can play with until it breaks --- everything else, I have to cut out after a few sessions.

    • @joes6712
      @joes6712 Год назад

      Do you hit more flat or top spin?

    • @wilsoch
      @wilsoch Год назад

      @@joes6712 Interesting question. I have always thought of myself as more of a flat hitter who has topspin on the shots to keep the drives in, but the people I play against tell me I have a lot of spin (on the forehand, at least). I use an 18x20 pattern, so the Restring Zero helps give it a bit more spin than it might otherwise generate.

    I’m seeing like most things tennis, strings are subjective. A lot of people love and hate it. I’m curious to try on my Tour 98. I use Head Lynx Touch and really like it. Although looking for a bit more bite on the ball.

    • @b.lakeberg7456
      @b.lakeberg7456 Год назад +2

      It lasts longer than RPM Blast, has better snap back overtime, and at a better price point. RPM is better right off the stringing machine. Personally, I do not get RPM Blast hype at all.

  • @joes6712
    @joes6712 Год назад +4

    Plays absolutely nothing like how people say it does, it has very little topspin, flat hits are good, but it’s just so overrated, Tour M8 has been by far the best out of every string, has spin like confidential and tourbite, has the soft feel like poly tour pro, and amazing tension maintenance, and good enough SnapBack which is also also not the most important thing in a string, Restring zero is the MOST OVERRATED POLY,

    This string is just like Poly Tour Spin but at 2x the price and harsher feeling. Very overhyped string that's a bit of an arm wrecker.

    • @wilsoch
      @wilsoch Год назад +2

      Wow, strongly disagree here. Poly Tour Spin is fine, but it's a very stiff string, moreso than Restring Zero, it doesn't hold tension nearly as well, and it notches (which shortens the playability period, even if tension maintenance is pretty good).

    • @thecat4272
      @thecat4272 Год назад

      I think you're both correct actually. PTS does notch, is stiffish and does lose tension (which makes it softer). Restring Zero is harsh - I tried it at 50lbs and 53lbs for about 8-9 hours each time before cutting out. My arm has been tender for the last few weeks now after using it. It played okay but nothing about it wowed me. I wouldn't use it long term and no way does it justify the high price compared to other shaped strings. It's pretty average IMO. @@wilsoch

    • @wilsoch
      @wilsoch Год назад

      @@thecat4272 What gauge do you use? I've only ever used 17g Restring, and I've never felt any harshness. (Less harsh than Tour Bite, for example.)

    Very disappointed in the string and Harry's review. This string is crap. The vibration is terrible, not even with a vibrazorbs can I dampen it. Strung on Blade V9, 54 M, 51 C. Couldn't play with it. I like a soft feeling string this is nothing like that. When I strung it, I had high hopes, felt stiff and grippy, but didn't plsy like it. I will cut it out, after trying it a couple of times. Waste of money, will stick to hyper G.
    Zero is correct name for it , lke zero stars.
