Was waiting on this review. Thank you for all your content!
One thing a lot of people are talking about this string is the snapback, how spin friendly it is, but another thing that people contradict a lot each other is that while some find it on the stiff side, others find it very lively like Tennis Nerd, most I saw mentioned it was a bit stiff and muted, and each can have their own impression, but there are clear references for what can be considered stiff and lively, which is puzzling.
Getting some strings, entered in contact with restring team and found them to be very helpful and arrange shipping to my country, eager to try it for myself, overall, heard very positive things.
was waiting for this review. Some of the other youtubers seem so excited about this string to the point I was skeptical on whether how much was paid reviews.
10/10 would recommend this string! Best tension maintenance I’ve ever experienced.
Tension maintenance is my biggest gripe with the more comfortable polys. I like alu power but they become spaghetti after a session:/ will try these ones and hope for the best!
Tourna Silver 7 Tour has best maintenance. Great string if not the best, and prize is great as well.
Hum... I d say luxilon 4g is unbeatable in the tension maintenance category for a poly... But si expensive... 😅
How do you find the comfort level of this string?
@@draconiadorian I would say if your sensitive to tennis elbow be wary of how high you go up in tension this string is definitely firm but not stiff. Paired with a frame on the stiffer side it could cause some issues. What racquet are you using?
Really nice string, SnapBack, feel are amazing!
Interesting, color doesn't matter but it's Cool! Thanks for this info and video 🙏👍
Would this be good string for flat hitters? I use Hawk Power with 52 lbs and my racquet is Head Radical Pro 2023
It would be interesting to test it!
Love this string but still a little firm for me at a tension like 50. It was ok for my arm around 45. How would you compare it to Wasabi?
Would it be a good string for Wilson shift ? What do you think? Thanks for the review
Would you recommend these strings on the Gravity Pro 2023? Comparing it to lynxTour (which color)? I used Champagne and I really liked it.
Fantastic string. 1.23mm version at very low tension worked really well for me in Speed Pro 2022. Sadly my arm so bad that cant handle any poly :(
Sorry to hear about your arm!
When I strung my Yonex Ezone at 45lb it did not have that much snap back. It felt like hyper-g but played well
Juan is the man! Ive hit with him before and buy zero from him 🎾🎾
Hello ! I always see your videos from Germany, good Job ! I have a question: I have a Babolat pure strike pro stock 18/20 with 67 stiffness, 324 swing weight, 324 g strung and 6 pts HL balance, strung with Poly tour rev 1.20 mm 17 G 50 Ibs full, I have also Toroline Wasabi, Wasabi Z and Restring zero.
Now I would like change my setup.
What do you recommend?
Wasabi full? Restring Zero full? Wasabi/Wasabi X? Restring Zero/Wasabi X ? poly rev/Wasabi X ? or I stay by Poly rev full? what tension? Do I stay at 50 or go down to 48? A good control is very important to me, decent Power and Spin and crisp feel no muted . Thank you, Marwen
For anyone that’s tried Zero how does it compare to “RPM Team”?
Team lasts me forever in a tight 16x20. Apparently it’s air filled...wonder is Zero plays similarly? Cheers
how is this string compared to Grapplesnake tour snipper?
thanks for the review Jonas. Have you tried this with the Silinco Whiteout 18x20? Think it may be a good combo
I have not, but I might in the future.
Is this a rehashed MSV FH?
I try so many strings but always coming back to Solinco Confidential
Gotta say digging the hair!
Did Juan by any chance share a promo code? :)
Yes, TENNISNERD10 for 10% off
Any alternatives to ply tour pro with more bite. Thr dwell
Time is so good on ptp but just loses tensions easily.
Try polytour rev.
I've been hitting with Confidential 16L lately, 55/53 lbs. in a Pure Aero. I hit hard and like the crisp, consistent feel. I'm going to test a set of Restring Zero and also Tour Sniper M8. I hope Restring Zero doesn't feel too soft. Tour Sniper M8 sounds like it is closer to Confidential.
Hey , i play confidential and want to test M8 tour sniper and restring Zero so have you try it?
@@CroqueMadame I have not hit much due to the weather and my hitting partner being tied up with med school. I hope to hit the courts soon. I tried Restring Zero months ago and didn't like it because it seemed I strung it too tight at 55 lbs. I think it probably feels better in the upper 40's. M8 had sort of a consistent feel to it but it was more muted than Confidential. I've been off the courts too long after having surgery. Hope to hit more this year!
Hi, where I can buy this string with shipping to Europe - Poland?
A bit softer and a bit more power than champagne Lynx Tour. What’s your favorite poly Jonas?
Great review! What is your string of choice on most rackets?
Lynx Tour is my current favorite, but it is quite stiff.
@@Tennisnerdevery time I read your comments I internally read it in your accent 😂
Lynx tour. 1.20 is that one stiff as well?
Hello question, where did you played at min 3:00? Looks great!!
Puente Romano is on the south coast of Spain. Great place, high class club. Novak Djokovic plays there often as he has a house nearby, and a lot of the WTA players also play there.
would this be an ideal string for head gravity pro?
For Gravity Pro, I preferred Confidential because it’s available at 18g (1.15mm) but Zero 1.23mm wasn’t bad
Compare to Grapplesnake Tour M8?
Jonas, how does it compare with MSV Swift Soft?
This one is slightly stiffer, but a little more snapback and spin potential from Zero
Why do smaller brands like this don't sell their stuff to bigger reseller like TWE, Tennis-Point? They only sell from their website in certain countries?!
Not all big resellers want to take on an unknown brand. Small brands take time to grow and also its more manageable to deal with smaller quantity orders at the start I guess?
I use 30 pound tension with Restring 0 in the mains. Then wasabi X 30 pounds on the crosses, fantastic topspin and long lasting. Do not string either of these over 45 pounds in fact the lower the better. Trust me 😁
What racquet are you using? I prefer high tension (60lbs) on an 18x20 Pure Strike. I can't see myself going under 55lbs, otherwise my balls will fly long.
@@tribe_called_oh I use the pure Areo 98 with a leather grip. No weight added to the frame or handle works so well, an amazing stick.
Hi Jons. Did you look at other reviews before making your own on this strings?
No, how so?
How good is this string compared to Solinco confidential in tension maintenance and spin potential?
Much better tension maintenance and I'd argue even better spin potentially, I've now switched fulltime to Zero from confi
Can’t beat Confidential for tension maintenance, but Zero maintains its ability to snap back, so is able to maintain spin potential through continuous tension drop and severe notching. However, some players may find Confidential better for spin due to its grabbier shape and lower power. I suppose it depends on one’s stroke style.
Solinco Confidential vs Restring Zero, who wins in tension maintenance/spin potential?
I've used both and felt Zero wins on both fronts. Zero's tension maintenance is probably one of the best in the market right now
I agree 100%. I've now switched fulltime from confi to Zero
sell a cheap real and i'll try it
Why not compare it to the real thing : Luxilon Alupower ? Also where is the scientific evidence that this string provides more spin or bite than any other slick co-polyester out there ?
Snapback is unreal on zero. But grapplesnake toursniper is probably a closer match to Alu Power.
I am using zero as my main strings currently!
Snake oil.
@@shaunpickering4427 Any scientific measurements to back that subjective claim ?
I'll stick to lynx tour then seen it has more control and softness is no problem
No one said this string has the most spin or bite. What surprised me was how long I could play with this string before I felt it got out of control. I also personally enjoyed the solid yet dampened feel (reminding me of Hyper-G) and the power i can get on flatter strokes. Before I switched to Zero, I was almost set on Champion’s Choice for its power and playability duration, but Zero won me over with comparable power (when strung 6 lbs lower), comparable playable duration, but more predictable response from being full bed rather than hybrid. It also feels pretty cool to be an early adopter and getting questions from other players about my mystery bright blue string.
