Did you see Hugo at the olympics? He played like a monster in the event. Truls was juste better this time (you can't lead 10-4 and loose the set) and Felix too. Stop saying everytime that when a player loose, it's the mental, take time to congratulate the winner like you do when Hugo win.

I saw a couple of good matches from Lebrun against Chinese players and I thought he might be a future champion, but after seeing this I think he might also be as Harimoto that was very good at young age but started to decline to a lower level years later.
Higher highs and lower lows. He’s got the game to beat the best but his mental game isn’t as strong. He also seems to struggle vs some unorthodox styles, he needs to improve his problem solving abilities. If he can do that, he sure will win more championships (has won a contender already which is nice, but there are better tournaments out there for sure)

Hmmm not quite. Previous match in Olympics was a complete blowout despite the first set won by Alexis. This time there is 3-0 but Alexis is starting to find tactical answers to Hugo’s game. Much closer game than during Olympics anyway haha

Alexis is the kind of player who need 1 or 2 matchs to enter in his competition, but in star contender he always plays top 10 who never give him any chance to be more confident. I never understand why Alexis follow his brother in all competitions, why spending all this cash to go China to lost at the first round. Felix have way much easy match to play at the begining. he should just try to enter in top 15 by wining one or 2 simple contender series, to have better matchs in Star Contenders.

This tournament seems to be using Double Fish WTT ball. Dhs DJ40 is also very good, as is Dhs 40+.
