Such a beautifully designed pony car, in my opinion.
I’ll second that, I was down for a ‘16 gt350 but this design has me reconsidering that.
Im a Chevy guy but I gotta admit that’s one hell of a car absolutely gorgeous., ands sounds totally wicked..
Bobby, come on over little buddy, we don't bite. We won't tell anyone that's your new GT350....
Maybe one day...
Definetly one of the best looking muscle car's out there! Just beautiful😎👍
Love that ragged winding engine sound. I picked up a 2019 ZL1, but glad the GT350 is evolving and kicking ass.
I have a 2019 ZL1 myself but debated on getting a Hellcat or GT350 R. Very close decision but the ZL1 is so much more fun for daily driving in my opinion
@@PrimePriusYou can't go wrong with any of those cars. I'd say it just depends on what you are looking for and your lifestyle. I alternate daily driving mine and it really is comfortable, a joy to drive, and wicked fast for a stock car. Definitely the Trifecta (Commute, Street, Track).
@Brad Viviviyal Wow... I know you're a better gentleman than this, sir.
@@PrimePrius better deals on the ZL1.... .
I would get the GT350 over the new GT500
BASITH PH agreed. manual > auto
You and me both.
I'd take a 2013-2014 GT500 over all else.
Daywalker i have a ZL1 A10
& a GT350R. My old 14 GT500 was a boat in the corners. Horrible
Daywalker oh that’s a great car
I would definitely get that over the new GT500
Shelby gt350 and gt500 are absolutely my favorite cars PERIOD
The sound....so unique and imo, absolutely breathtakingly beautiful.
Took a ride in one today as part of a work function. Never had much respect for higher performance mustang till today. I have to say if I could afford one I would get it. Good stuff Ford, I can only imagine the performance of the all new GT500
The 5.2 32 valve semi flat plane engine with 500+ HP naturally aspirated... best engine in 2020.
The handling is pretty good, what a track machine!
Couldn’t quite afford the Shelby so I bought a ‘18 GT PP1. Couldn’t ask for a more fun daily driver
Hughes Enterprises ditto
Sure you could it's called a Gt350
You could've gotten a used GT350 for around the same price as a new PP1 lol
Is that a fax machine?
Phil Gudet A $33K GT350 is someone’s used up track car. I wanted a reliable daily driver that I know hasn’t been abused.
I normally say I would never buy a Ford ever again. But I'd make an exception for this...
Not being a modern car guy,
your performance and design were on the same page. Looks, performance and attitude 100℅ nice.
Nice to see a manual transmission in a modern pony car.
All modern pony cars still have manual transmissions....
DrewLSsix Not the GT500 and Dodge Demon.
@@alansmilealot I don't think an Automatic transmission is even offered on the GT350
@@DrewLSsix Not the new Supra. Not all.
@@Shakerhood69 it isn't
The headlights on 350GT are one million times cooler than the non 350 version.
I'd like to know if there are any internal upgrades to the engine...? Lots of folks with low miles and blown engines. Either spun main bearings or bad oil pumps. I hope Ford has been keeping an eye on this stuff since this car is otherwise, so amazing!
Yo I’m feeling this song bruh. I got goose bumps the first time I watched it. Gospel 💯💯
Keeps getting better.
And naturally aspirated! I love this Ford Shelby. Thanks.
Best sound for that price point period!
Is it possible to get the LCD screen on the gt350? I never see it
the roar and wrath of the voodoo.....@ Pontiac, Michigan M1 fantastic
I told my wife I want to get a motorcycle. I heard nothing but crickets! She then said," get a sports car with a manual transmission." Come again! My wife is the best. Shelby GT350....you are coming home with me!
THAT WAS BEAUTY AT IT'S FINEST!
Manual transmission!!! Love it
Such a nice looking Stang, but the badge offset on the front grill looks SOOOOOO awkward. It would have looked better centered in the grill.
Omg that noise 🤤
That Cobalt blue GT500 @:55 is so, so beautiful.
I love my GT350!!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Reminds me a lot of my 2018 CTR (aggressive). I love it!
Maybe you can get one when you grow up...sorry Honda boy
@@philtripe
No worries
stickloaf what does age have to do with anything. In the eyes of the general public car like the gt350 would look like boy racer aka ricer. Nice one moron.
You were the man around town when you brought home the
*challenger Hellcat* Then you watched Motorweek, and saw this. ☹️
Where the original voice guy ?
Nice lid Ben!
What color blue is that?
I have a new bullit mustang and here in Australia the ford stealership slugged me $83,000 on road. Faaaark. But hey it’s so awesome.
The engine pulls super strong on your way to the next speeding ticket.
Tad Ficus Catus that’s the problem I would have if I owned this thing!
Is it a wing or is it a spoiler?
526 horsepower and hope super charge soon to come good looks
Can we see more of mustang gt350r videos
It's hard to see but at 1:58 that looks an awful lot like you're wearing a hans with an unbuckled helmet...?
I've been reading about the 5.2 engine failing. Is this a real issue? design flaw? production flaw?
No not true. People drive them so much that they take them to the dealer to rest for 3-4 weeks.. they do a very invasive engine detail. Mostly from the inside out. Then they give them back to their owners.
Uh yea( there’s that)
Stinger GT almost fast plus AWD and WAY less cost, Mustang sounds awesome though!
man that's a bad ass car!, im a Chevy man, but that stang is bonkers!!!
I love the fact that we in the say the Mustang is too expensive at £35,000. But I just checked the Dutch Ford site and a mustang there is the equivalent of £60,000 and in Denmark it is £81,000
Waiting for the GT 500
Did they fix the massive oil consumption issue that motor has??????
I'm only disappointed that the last New Year of the GT350 5.2 L Voodoo engine did not receive the direct injection / port injection treatment like the standard GT. I would have loved to see if this motor would have made 600 horsepower.
I want one
Rev it up for Carroll💪
Will purchase this car over an over priced Supra any time.
Only someone who doesn't understand what true driving is about and lack knowledge about handling dynamics would choose a GT350 over a Supra.
I was just about to make this same comment. Destroys the Supra in every way.
zarbon700 what the hell does that bullshit even mean?
zarbon700 bwaahahahahahah🤣 whew that’s rich
We won't hold our breath for you to produce the title to your 2020 Supra
This model owns the world
How reliable would this GT 35O be?
I mean it depends how hard you drive it. If you're banging out the gears then no this car isn't magical it'll start coming apart like any would over time. If you drive it normally maybe fast sometimes then it'll last you 200-400k miles
1:00 How much fun you will have with this car depends on if you can afford the gas or not....
Indeed it's a very, very good looking car. :)
It's a dream to drive
Can a car get any meaner looking?
Best sounding engine ever. Too bad you can't hear it in this video.
That shit sounds killer.
Too bad you can't get the digital dash on the GT350.
Well the Shelby GT350R and the lotus exige cup 430 literally are the only two modern day cars I would love to own.
Hasa Kavi E39M5 Mate both of them are my favorites as well. Never thought i would say that about an American car but i love the 350R. Exige Cup 430 is just epic!
@@Drifty325i if that's the only one then you haven't been watching
John Collins there are others but in terms of a raw, well balanced and driver focused drivers car these take the cake. The higher powered more driver aided cars don’t interest me as much
@@Drifty325i well I figure that to have a true muscle or sports car the driver should be in control not the car... most cars today drive themselves and I dont think that's a very fun experience
The GT500 should be way quicker than 1/2 second to 60 with that DCT and 200+HP advantage
Traction limited
GT500 gonna be heavier too
Gt500 would most likely excel in the quarter mile more than 0-60... along with a high trap speed
I'd like to put that 5.2 litre flat plane crank engine in an early '60s Studebaker Lark Hardtop Coupe... Just to mess with People!! Or a '63 Fastback Galaxy 500...
@Brad Viviviyal Haven't built the car yet, but it's certainly messing with you... What 12 year old even knows what a Studebaker Lark coupe is? I'm old enough to know better, and too young to care!!
But Matt Farah says Mustangs need a square stance.
Badass!
Well, great car, but 05 GT, 96 Viper GTS, C6 Z06 and ZR1 and 97 ram air Trans Am and 94 Firehawk are as cool and can be hot rodded for ridiculous power! Tuner were doing that in the 1990's and 2000's!😁 John Hennessy and John Lingenfelter among others!😁🤟
the 19 and 20 gt350's have the R engine regardless which model you get.
Okay so 5.2 liters with an 8200 rpm redline and just five hundred twenty something horsepower seems like something isn’t adding up with the redline it revs to and the displacement now if it was a bit past 560 hp that would sound about right for the stats or is this another case of ford holding back and you get the full bang for the buck once you get a tuner with one of the stage kits that seem to be what’s going on with everything built now days
I kinda like the look of the Mustang GT350 better than the new GT500 imo.
Time to make a new Lincoln Mark Vlll
Not the same without John.
Damn that thing sounds mean
This gorgeous beast of a machine gt350 or the beautiful unicorn Toyota supra launch edition. Both around the same price 🤔🤔🤔🤔
The mustang is the faster car in every measurable performance test and has a better motor . I would say the toyota will last longer but its actually a turbo BMW so there goes that.
price?
He says it late: $59,140 or something MSRP. So, about the same as prior years. I paid $62k for my 2017.
easy on the clutch when you're getting into gear... Make the transition less sloppy and more crisp...
exclusive tire for this car? I dont get this for so many cars. I guess to make the buyer feel more special?
the engine is what you want here
it's so they can financially knock your head off every time you wear out a set of tires which will be often since they are soft rubber.
@@tylerdurden8939
agreed another reason why so many of these so called special versions are not driven much at all
a waste to me
About 80 grand in Canada...before Goods and Services Tax, Provincial Sales Tax, Gas Guzzler Tax ($2000!) and (lol) Tire Tax of course...
Prices second hand are actually getting pretty decent. I've seen some for 50k ish
I'd look at one for a DD but I don't want a stick for heavy city driving
90% of these rides won't touch the track. Why is 90% of the video focused on track talk?
Because that is what the car is designed for. And as someone who is considering buying one of these specifically as a track car, I appreciate that the reviews actually take in on a race track.
Didn’t look like recaro seats...
Where is John Davies???
John Davis, no Davies
@@ohguy1991 Davis then, he retired
Just saw this In a fast and furious 9 trailer...
Wheres the old man
I just wish the cluck has throw was shorter, I have to sit side saddle to drive the car..
I prefer German but this is a very good car.
Local dealers be asking for 65k at least.
😍
That’s a real pony car right there
Wow KOoOL..MAN.I.WAS.HOUPIN.IT.WOOD.be.a v12..
This is probably Ford’s best sounding V8 since the 6.0 Powerstroke Diesel.. I mean they’ve had plenty of decent sounding engines but this thing sounds phenomenal.
Mustangs are so gorgeous I wish they were faster than camaros
some are, some aren't.
Forgot to add the MAP of $25K!+
Exactly
Beautiful Muscle car. With that level of power it’s way quicker to 60 than 4 secs lol even for motorweek
Much better option than the Supra and is made in the USA.
That exhaust note is like sex noise to me
More like 80 k at the dealerships
Why only 4.1 second? A 414HP 295FTLB E92 M3 could do 4.1 second, too. This car seems slow for all the power and rubber it has???
it's not geared for drag racing, the manual doesn't help and the engine makes power up top. If a guy wants to drag race get a new gt500. if he wants to just have fun and sound good doing it get a gt350.
A GT500 Carrol Shelby would be proud of.
0-60 in 4 seconds?? Waaaaack
I thought the same thing...4 seconds??? Should be in the mid 3s
If it had an auto transmission it would be around 3.7
Joey Z I get 3.8 out of my tuned 2012 Boss 302! I know it’s not stock but when it was it could hit 0 to 60 at 3.97 to 4 seconds flat according to Motortrend magazine. That being said, I would love to have a Gt 350 added to my collection. I won’t let the Boss go!
You'd think the guy could at least strap on his helmet correctly.
Say yes to American muscle.
No point in buying a Supra over this!
dont worry...Toyota doesnt plan on building very many to keep it the RARE car...kind of ironic that 30 years from now the Toyota will be worth more since there wont be very many around
@@philtripe it's still a lame copy cat car. The American pony/muscle cars are the sports coupe market locked down.
@@philtripe oh yeah it's also the GT350R that's will be worth more
Only someone who doesn't understand what true driving is about and lack knowledge about handling dynamics would choose a GT350 over a Supra.
@@zarbon700 please explain to us sensi how the new supra is better lmao!
