Thank you recommended! This is one of the best mice reviews/overviews I have watched. Sub well earned!
Great review - thanks. Your aim is fantastic
I just randomly got your channel recommended and I'm glad I did. Very informative review and your aim (especially your tracking in Apex) is absolutely cracked!
Awesome video! 🔥 I’ve been loving the HSK PRO 4K. Might have to try the HTX out as well
this was fantastic, thank you visgoat
Ended up ordering the htx 1k and I keep coming back to this review for some reason, but I just noticed your aim is actually insane.
good review, not easy to accurately describe the concept of "shape" but this is really good. well done
RUclips recommendations came in clutch today. Insta-sub. You're cracked, knowledgeable and the melodic ASMR voice makes the vids that much more enjoyable lol. I'm eager to see future mouse/gameplay content 🔥
awesome review 👏🏻
banger. as always. 👏 respect for the honesty, and the fact you gave the nod to the cheaper version instead.
Wow you are beaming so perfectly. Tracking so good felt like you are using a controller 😂😂 anyways nice review on the mouse
I got the ACE version a couple months ago and it’s AMAZING! I used to main the viper mini but wanted something similar but wireless and also really light Weight. It’s my new favorite mouse by far. I was worried at first about the how light the mouse is but it immediately felt natural. I’m telling anyone if you are a fan of the viper mini and want a better wireless version get this mouse immediately!
Yknow I was actually looking for a viper mini & starlight mix.. I also think your commentary is relaxing haha
Your voice is so calming 🥰Earned a new sub
Picked one up and I'm blown away, tysm for the recommendation. Got the cheaper Ace model like you suggested and I don't regret not getting the 4K version, I feel like my skill ceiling has been raised tenfold and I absolutely love it. The weight the shape - everything. The extreme low weight if anything made me feel MORE stable despite what folks suggest about "shaky aim" at that weight range. Feels more like an extension of my hand rather than a mouse, it simply goes where i want it.
Agree on basically everything about this review, I already had the ACE version after I realized my hands were simply too big for the HSK Pro, would love to see an updated refresh of the HTX in the future as well
same here! maybe a htx plus or something haha. I was talking to Jim and he thinks he can get future mice even more lightweight too, a 30g htx with improved battery life would be unreal, albeit maybe a bit unrealistic.
@@ViscoseOCE drooling at the thought
Great video. After using first Zowie FK2 for ages I changed a LOT of mice and surprisingly ended up on Viper Mini. I just wished it was a bit wider. by looking for a similar shape just more wide I found HTX 4k. My only worry is GWolves previous quality control for that price since I usually only buy ~75-90 euro max... but this goes for almost all companies in last 5+ years. You just never know if its gonna be faulty or have mouse1 and 2 wobble etc BTW you are ffff cracked at apex and cs :D
Nice fragmovie! i like it
swagged out video!
Great review. Very happy that you direct compared to the viper mini cause thats been my go to mouse for awhile even with having a superlight I still went back to the viper mini because of the shape and snappiness of smaller mice.
Good review. Definitely earned my sub
thank u :D
Your voice is basically ASMR
Yes good enough for the unintentional ASMR subreddit
its the accent isnt it LOL
@@ViscoseOCE It's the silky smooth quality tbh. Feels like everything is gonna be alright.
@@ViscoseOCEthat and your mic is so professional 😭
Great review
Another visgoat video that’s a banger
I can definitely confirm that the HTX 4k is my endgame mouse too!
(19x10cm hands btw)
Great review! The new SW + FW update will automatically change your polling rate from 500hz (desktop) to 4000hz (games) - great for battery life!
oh that sounds awesome! thanks for letting me know, ill install it tonight
Im so buying this for my next mouse
That battery life seems bearable when the mouse is new. But with needing to charge it a lot, I wonder how the battery health and capacity will do long term. (iphones will drop to 80% original capacity after 1000 full cycless.) Especially since I doubt gwolves has battery health software, as having it hold 60-50% would drop game session time.
I can't stop using the sl-12 ever since the UL2, but i have really wanted to try the htx as i have a hts+.. it's just the shape of the sl is so good i can't put it down, even after months of trying to get used to the hts+ and getting decent performance, i immediately felt the stability and performance increase the sl-12 gives me. 50-30cm
Never buy from this shady company, their support is a joke and insults and blocks you, refuses to help and their quality control is shoddy at best. They may even forget things in the box like charging cables or have random feet pre installed off centre ect.
AVOID G WOLVES!
@@zohzie I actually had a super good experience with their support, emailed them and got told to contact someone in their discord server. within 3 days I'd sent them a video of the mouse malfunctioning and they sent me a whole new mouse, no shipping cost either.
I do agree with the SL shape being the best though, it just fits my hand so much more comfortably than any other
@@zohzie gwolves is unironically the best mouse company
why viscose’s voice is so sweet and sounds so nice?
ok this video got me soooold
Yeah that's next on the list
Watching this with my HSK Pro 4K in hand and thinking I will probably get HTX when it pops somewhere locally and after a day of use it will go on shelf :D
i didnt think i would find a woman with comparable aim to q_Ella, but here you are, and here i am subbing.
Honestly gwolves has been a brand that I’ve been coming back to and preforming my best on just switched to the hsk plus for fun and it’s such a great mouse
regardless of ppl say abt gwolves u cant deny they are trying new things, and i respect that
Nice vid!
Great review! I have Hati S plus classic and I love it. Best mouse I've had so far. Biggest minus is the battery. Even at 1000hz 30hours is quite short and while playing with the skypad 3.0 I just recentered my mouse and the battery got loose and had to superglue it. Otherwise I'm in love atm
I've been binge watching your content recently and gotta say your like absolutely crazy, I recently bought myself an Artisan Zero for the first time and decided I needed a new mouse instead of my Model O, I have large hands and was thinking bout getting this mouse but got a XM2we instead since apparently its similar to the Lamzu Atlantis aswell. By the way if you ever wanted to try a new FPS game theres this game called Battlebit Remastered and it's similar to Battlefield but a ton more fun. It hasn't released yet and only has playtests as of now at 11:30pm AEST for 6 hours on Saturday nights but is releasing sometime this June. Check it out and hopefully see you sometime on the Australian servers.
htx ace arrived in the mail a week ago and holy shish it's so much better than my model o. w vid
W vid Vis!
Got myself a g pro x superlight which is my first wireless mouse and my first mouse that costs over 50€ and Its crazy how many kovaaks personal bests i broke.
Great size for my hand and grip aswell, while not being way to overpriced. I feel like a fitting mouse is more important than most of the people think. And Im even still using the original gliders atm
oh nice! the gpx is a good option for sure and im glad youve found something that still works for your hand :D
i have the htx ace (just came in today) and i already love this mouse!!!
greate review
as an htx owner, this shit is so good
I had the sl12, and that made me want the HTX. But somehow, I managed to snag a ZA13-C and that made me want the HTS+ instead (due to the hump) Now after watching this vid made me want to go back to consider HTX instead... ahh!!
when i get my money up, i'll buy one been looking for a new mouse
I bought the atlantis mini 4k instead of HTX because of all the QC horrors, battery life and general reviews. Planning to just add a small ULX in the future so I don't have to rotate between more than two mice (good financial decisions)
When I still had the mouse I clocked the time I was gaming with it at 4k. It was slightly above 9 hours which is abysmal.
I actually got the ace, not concerned with price. So I started on the viper 8k wired, then went to the hsk pro 4k. Going from 8k to 4k didn't feel bad at all, but the weight felt amazing. So I got the ace to be closest to the HSK weight, because my pinky would just float with that mouse, I didn't have a comfy spot to put it while playing normally. Now with the HSK I have more room than my pinky would ever need, at such a light weight. I just use the side grips myself.
ooh true i didnt even consider that the weight would be a big factor for some people haha, but yeah the 36g of the ace is crazy to me. Glad your liking it!!
Review on Ninjutso Sora v2 would be awesome :)
I didn't know you were reviewing mice and I'm pleasantly surprised, this is great review
Im currently using the g305 and its a perfect fit, but even so im considering getting a newer mouse and looking at all my options.
Mine should arrive tomorrow finally
nice!! hope u like it
best aim :)
Really nice video review! I was just wondering about how much side curve it has on the right side of the mouse compared to something like the Lamzu Mini? I use fingertip grip on the Lamzu and noticed tingly and numbness on my pinky and ring finger (symptoms of ulnar nerve entrapment), but when I use the same grip for the X2 Mini the pain doesn't occur; as far as I can tell it is because of the flatter sides, but it could be other aspects like how the X2 is slightly wider (the QC issues is the reason I haven't been using it). Do you think the htx is something I can try in the future?
Great video again, those are some sick clips and appreciate the style and conciseness of the video.
wider mice/not pushing ur pinkie inwards and also letting it rest entirely not holding itself up (flat or better; downward sloped sides) do definitely help with this, so i am kinda in the same position as you wondering how this mouse will do
the viper mini is an absolutely terrible shape if you have ulnar issues, it gets slightly better with griptape. This mouse is similar but atleast its wider. unless your issues are huge id imagine it would probably be okay aslong as you have good ergo elsewhere and dont grip it hard but its hard to say. good to hear you dont have pain with the x2 tho, since ive been considering it for this exact reason, giving ambis one last shot
@@eirin099 Thank you for sharing your tips with me. On the Lamzu my pinky does go inwards with my natural grip style but on the x2 I do see that it is much straighter, I'll try holding it in the way you said.
What I ended up doing putting 1 layer of double-sided tape on both sides with thick grip tape over it on my Lamzu which widened the mouse grip so it was greater than my x2 mini. Doesn't look the best but it helped about 80% which is huge. Despite now being wider (the Lamzu mini with added width), however, the x2 mini I found still didn't give me any issues altogether. This is likely because of what you said about my pinky position still being curved inwards, although lesser with the additional width. This could also be because I started gaming more intensely after I got my Lamzu which I've also used for longer. Although, every time I go back to the x2 mini I feel nothing, it's confusing even, (I only do this briefly for half a day since it double clicks so maybe it's not fair).
Another thing that helped me that you could also benefit from is 1HP's "Routine to Fix Pain" playlist by Dr. Matthew Hwu. When I was at my weakest I felt they helped me a lot with their strength and stretching routines. I feel significantly better now since widening my mouse and doing their exercises.
All the best with your next mouse and dealing with ulnar issues. I believe the new "Pulsar x2 v2" now have optical switches; hopefully the qc is far better if you decide to buy one because it was terrible when I bought mine last year. Appreciate your reply and hope mine helped you at all. Good luck, keep me updated if you wish.
Would love a review of the xm2we, great work!
i got sent one actually! its def too big for me but im planning on talking about it in a video about the lamzu atlantis mini vs xm2 mini
Viscose, you must buy new mice always. This is the way. 😈
Great review though! they really need to fix the 2 cable thing lol and work on the software... but Gwolves seems to be doing a lot to improve from its previous image and Im glad you found such a perfect fit for yourself
thank u!! and yea im still probably going to get new mice haha, specifically ive got my eyes on the lamzu mini for a comparison vid against the xm2we
I need something like this, but with 3 or 4 side buttons.
W viscose
Thank you for the recommendation ☺️ I actually picked up one myself because of your review! Your tracking in apex is insane, may I know whats your sens in apex out of curiosity? Thanks :)
thank u!! i play 0.83@1600dpi
I got the ACE with holes because 4K polling rate isn’t really practical with how new it is. I was having issues with the screen skipping aswell and moving the wireless dongle closer fixed it. The software is the worst I’ve ever seen but it’s the best mouse I’ve ever owned
yeah its such a shame its got those issues but im willing to overlook them haha
Came for the mouse, stayed for the god aim
Subbed! Nice review! If it is your end game, will you consider reviewing other gaming mice?
yea for sure, my next mouse review is going to be about the xm2 mini and lamzu mini i think but im def more interested in making vids about mousepads atm
@@ViscoseOCE interesting! Will wait for those reviews :)
Keep up the good work! Your tracking of enemies is impressive 😅 thankfully you’re not playing Call of duty 😊
I love your montages!
Are there any mice you would recommend for 17.7 x 9 cm hands? I usually finger tip my mouse (im not a fan of the hsk type shape)
What’s your opinion on the viper mini if you have used it ? I like the g203 because of the mobility and ease of micro adjustments but the Ec2a provides me a more consistent aim on games like CSGO. Could the viper mini be a balance between these two because of the added palm support ? I use claw grip
i have the ace ver and its amazing
VISCOSE!!!!!!!!!!
I ordered this mouse, I can't seem to find tiget ice skates for it. Do the default skates work well on the Skypad Glass 3.0? That's my main mousepad :/ Some skates end up really scratchy on the Skypad
the default skates probs dont work great, i use viper mini skates and they fit rly well
@@ViscoseOCE Do you have a skypad?
Damn, just got the HTS+ 4k last week because I saw your review, now I want this one too lol
Also.. can I ask how you do your nails? They are so pretty, sorry for offtopic question
ive been told im very good at selling products haha, if u have the hts+ ur fine though i love that mouse too
as for the nails, thank u so much!! I haven't done anything to make the top part more vibrant, I just put clear on sometimes so they r stronger, but I shape them maybe once a week? my nails naturally flare out to the sides to I just file that in and round off the edges. Over time ull get a feel for how to shape them, just takes practice :D
interested in trying one but ulx coming in summer
would you prefer stiffer mouse clicks or lighter? because i switched from a really spammy light click mouse (g305) to this vxe r1 se which has huanos and because they were much stiffer I noticed my aim was trash..
This leads me to think that i need to be more informed about what shape best fits me and also what grip is best for me. What resource do you recommend? I'm using gpro superlight right now and am on voltaic silver
Hey viscose, i have two questions. 1, do you think keeping your sensitivities relatively to each other in a certain range is more beneficial than using a huge range of sens or just one for different games. Also, how do you translate your flicks like one taps from kovaaks to in- game? I can ts, track, etc but my ta and flicks suck in- game. How would you recommend practicing this in kovaaks and in- game?
Edit: oh also, would you recommend this mouse for someone with large hands? My hands are around 19.2cm x 10.5cm.
hey! i think for your handsize the hts+ classic is a safer bet, i love that mouse as well and its slightly larger overall than the htx.
I keep my sensitivity relatively similar between games but thats mostly because its comfortable for me, I don't think theres any issue with playing wildly different sensitivities. as for translating aim, that might be too deep of a topic for a youtube comment haha. looking at flicks specifically, i think the issue a lot of aimtrainer players have is that flick scenarios like static dont really train the actual click timing of syncing your flicks with clicking at the end, aim_botz on cs is what helped me the most with that rather than any aim training scenario
Heya, having 17.5 by 9.2 cm hand, this grip width seem soooo big. Did you have any cramp for long term use ? I wonder that cuz of the pulsar X2 mini have a smaller but similar grip width and it's cause me a ton of issue and even some pain / cramps that i never had before with a mouse.
I love ur plays!!!🥰 can u tell me which do you prefer hold or toggle?
thank u!! i prefer hold
I'm just here watching a good review and suddenly see a familiar website at 0:46 :)
Great video! As a Model O- main, I consider getting this mouse.
glad u enjoyed it :D love ur work on the site
found my endgame mouse: the xm2we... I know the shape is similar to the lamzu atlantis and x2 wireless but I happen to enjoy the shape of the xm2 more aswell as its coating. I never tried the x2 but would be down to do so in the future. The lamzu atlantis is sadly not available in my country ... I would love to give mice with similar shapes a shot but for now, I am really happy with my xm2we
edit: I tried the hts plus 4k and I really like the shape, but Its a bit too short and not high enough for me. the xm2 shape fixes that problem
i got an xm2we as well actually! i love it too, whats impressed me the most is the coating for sure. glad uve found the mouse for u :D
@@ViscoseOCE do you plan to make a video about the xm2we?
@@imcynex probably not on its own but i was thinking of doing a comparison between the xm2 mini and lamzu atlantis, and ill discuss the xm2we in that as well :D
@@ViscoseOCE yeah the coating is the best ive ever had on mouse! I just hope it feels as good even after some time, when the coating has worn off... keep it up!
Next review the Zaopin Z1 pro
I prefer a bit of palm contact in my relaxed claw grip, so I went with a hts+ 4k. It has been a great mouse so far, but have only had it for about 3 weeks. I ordered an atlantis mini pro 4k, am curious if that will be even better.
Lmk wat u think I’m thinking about buying one of those, have u used a xm1 b4 ?
@@ddsd4320 I have the atlantis mini 4k, and it is a good mouse for sure but feels flat to me honestly. The hump on the middle is not pronounced like it is on the hts. I like the hts+ better. But that is just due to my gripstyle and hand size.
@@mikerzisu9508 what’s your hand size ? I use relaxed claw 2
do you think the htx ace is worth it:) idk if i want to pay 170 or 180 after shipping for a higher polling rate when i just play apex legends
Can you give a tip on how you managed to find your sensitivity range in games? And what sensitivity range do you use in tactical FPS like CS? I love your videos
thank u!! i appreciate it :D
For me it really came down to what was comfortable, plus varying it a bit to use sensitivity as a tool to help certain parts of my game. I play 38cm in cs for that reason compared to 32 in apex, it offers more stability which is needed in cs but not as much in apex. All comes back to comfort though. in theory i should be playing even lower sens in cs but that just doesnt work for me haha, i play 38 cause it feels nicer
How do you measure hand width? Do you go across the palm including thumb or not including? Thanks!
wtf so HEAVY! lol
noice
Every now and then I enjoy fucking around with an ultralight ambi mouse before my brain BSODs and I end up back on the boomer ergo train.
I recently saw a video of a review of a mouse, sorry, dont remember which, in which a comparison was made between 1k, 2k, 4k, and 8k Hz. At 1k, the mouse had 1ms input lag, at 2k, around .500ms, maybe high .400's. At 4k and 8k Hz, the latency still measured upper .400's ms. So the battery consumption, and the use of more CPU its not worth it to me to go above 2k Hz. I dont really even use 2k though. My GPU is already bottlenecked by my CPU, so I would rather use that extra CPU performance for a few more fps.
why did you cutted (idk how to call it) outside of vipermini cable?
is the friction of cable is anoyying? because i think its anoyying. i think thats a great idea. but possible to kill the mouse, still seems like it makes the job done.
I got the no honeycomb version, and i forgot what the weight of mine was out of the box😅But i belive it might have been around 45-46 gram, and after adding side griptape and corepad HTX skatez. it lands at around 47 grams, it is still light, but is also far from the advertised 40-43 grams🤨 There is a chance i just got a bad or faulty weight scale😅🤣
Is it longer, shorter, and skinnier grip width than the HTS Ace (old one, not HTS+)?
Thank you so much for responding to comments, highly appreciated. I have another question rofl. I have round about 8 years playing CS/OW 80+ hours every 2 weeks, my aim is okay, im diving into aim trainers for the first time other than workshop maps etc. Do you have any playlist/scenario recommendations in Kovaaks for CS/Overwatch 2?
hey! i got a video on my channel about my switching scenario recommendations, that + the playlist in this tweet can serve as a good foundation point with the switching scenarios for flicks and the playlist for overwatch. twitter.com/ViscoseOCE/status/1625834015478648832?s=20
if youd like more resources u can have a look at discord.gg/voltaic, they have a bunch of rly good stuff there :D
When training, should I focus on speed or accuracy? If it's accuracy, how will I know if I can speed up?
good video, is there a mouse that you would suggest similar to this shape but for larger hands? I have 19/10.5 hands.
maybe the xe wireless from vaxee, ive heard rly good things abt it
damn that flick tho 1:00
I have 20.5 by 10.5 hands and I'm really struggling to find the mouse for me
I use a pincer claw or fingertip grip on mice
If this mouse you think might be too small what's a mouse with nice light clicks that suits my grip and hand size
Have you tried out the lamzu atlantis mini out? If so, how did you like it? I just ordered it a few days ago. Also, do you have a specific aim routine(s) that you do that you can share?
im very tempted to get it tbh, im getting sent an xm2w mini and id like to do a comparison vid between them. i hope u like yours!!
as for aim routines, i dont play them myself but i do make them sometimes, heres my tracking one twitter.com/ViscoseOCE/status/1625834015478648832?s=20
Loved the review and the gameplay, but could you comment about the mouse feet? if they're any good or if they need to be replaced ? when I first bought the GPX I had to replace the mouse feet cause they were terrible
i preferred these to the gpx stock feet from memory but i didnt like them, i swapped them for razer viper mini tiger ice skates within like 2 days LOL
@@ViscoseOCE yeah I was going to say they really dont look the best 😂😂😂 thank you very much for the reply, and I'm assuming u just took all the dot feet out of the mouse ?
@@wAlfeyy yeah i just took off the stock ones, the mouse has a flat base so its rly easy to put other skates on it
what mousepad would you recommend for valorant. I dont know whether i want something slower like the artisan zero or the LGG saturn, or get something faster like the hien, hayate otsu or LGG Venus Pro for those frameskip flick clips. I would really like to hear ur opinion on a good mousepad for valo. Thanks.
personally id go with the zero. its my go to and imo you dont really need a fast mousepad for flicks, the extra stability and confidence that comes from a slower pad helps me more with flicks tbh
fk2 viper mini two best shapes ahhh
How would you compared the palm support on the HTX vs the Starlight + Infinity Hump? My handsize is similar to yours. I thought the Vancer Castor shape was not bad for aggressive claw during flick shots but I've never tried the infinity hump before.
I think the infinity hump s12 had more palm contact towards the top of my palm but due to the mouse being thinner it doesn't have that support under my thumb that the htx does. It's kinda a wash tbh, about even
@@ViscoseOCE Do you think that the SL12-Medium would benefit more from the infinity hump then?
have you tried swapping out the battery if battery life is an issue for you? (just please be careful to not rip the connector off the pcb like i did and spent 4 hours trying to soder it back bc the pins are so small)
i havent yet no, for that reason LOL im too scared to fuck anything up
