hi!
How to react faster in any game.
Reaction time is something I've seen referenced over and over as this insurmountable wall that separates the pros from the average players. They are supposedly just faster than any normal person could ever be, but what if I told you that not only is the reaction speed of a pro very achievable for anyone, you don't even need to get faster reaction times to achieve it?

The best mousepads you can get - Artisan buyer's guide
Просмотров 76 тыс.Месяц назад
Over the last 4 years I've tried a lot of different mousepads from a wide range of companies, but even as I swapped between different aiming styles and fps games something from artisan's lineup has remained my go to thanks to the variety of surfaces they offer. But that variety presents a bit of an issue, how do you know what to choose? Information about a potential shidenkai v3 or similar: pos...

Why I went back to wired - OP1 8k review
Просмотров 208 тыс.5 месяцев назад
I think I've kept up with modern peripherals fairly well, but I've had dozens of people in the comments of my videos trying to inform me of a new innovation that I'd somehow completely missed: wireless mice. As fun as it would be to claim that wired mice somehow make your aim better, the truth is just that I think going wired lets companies do something that is impossible while being wireless -...

The fastest way to improve your aim.

There are a lot of red herrings when looking for information about getting better aim, so called instant improvement methods that just don't work. So, what actually is the best way to get better? Is your mouse grip holding you back?
Просмотров 162 тыс.8 месяцев назад
How you should hold your mouse is something I see discussed a lot online, with countless people claiming to have found the objective answer to the question by looking at the changes in aim each grip causes. So, how can mouse grip not matter if the one you use does have an objective impact on how you aim? I hope this vid is helpful to anyone who's struggled with overthinking mouse grip, copying ...
Did being top 10 in an aimtrainer help me in FPS games?
Просмотров 262 тыс.11 месяцев назад
If you've been in aimtraining communities for a while, I'm sure you've heard something about there being a limit to its effectiveness. That at a high enough level, your improvement in scores in aimtrainers won't be reflected in game. This is something I used to believe myself, but I wanted to truly put the idea to the test, if I got into the top 10 worldwide in an aimtrainer, would I get better...
Muscle memory is a myth (kinda)
Просмотров 177 тыс.Год назад
We've all heard it before, stick to one sensitivity to get good aim and if you change it you'll ruin your muscle memory. If this is true though, how can the best players change their sens all the time and still aim well? Such a well put video. Im ashamed I haven’t been watching your content as much as I should. This video made me realize I’ve done this subconsciously at times but def not enough where I should be applying it consciously as well. great video to help me warm up my brain and look at things a bit differently
I still doubt if this is really a greater merit due to talent or training. I'm not someone who really trains shooters, in fact the first one I really put hours into was Fortnite 7 years ago. And the only thing I learned from playing almost 3k hours was to flick anywhere on the screen, the angle doesn't matter, I just make it possible. So when I then move on to games like valorant, csgo and apex. And I saw that playing shotgun is something very complicated depending on the situation, whether you like it or not, I felt like shit, I'm sure that my flicks are faster than the average of people who play every day, but in exchange I have less precision. So doing it with a rifle was difficult for me, but with a sniper I noticed that it was very good. What I'm getting at, is it really worth "training" the aim? Whether you want it or not, it limits your ways, angles and ways of shooting, you are more likely to miss shots at higher or lower angles, following the example of acute angles. But of course, for the game itself it is much more beneficial to train, unconsciously keep your sights in your head, and dedicate yourself to aiming in a more closed and linear way. When I went to the valo, I started in iron, mentally it affected me, it didn't take me more than a day to go up to bronze, but that left its mark on me, I had never played a 5vs5 shooter, so I was also a novice in this game format, I picked up the basics very quickly, planting the spike, defending the sites, how and when to use the agents' utilities... etc. But keeping the sights on the head was my biggest nightmare, as I was a former shotgun-only player in Fortnite, I tended to start building and from there do jumps and things in Fortnite where I shot the head with reaction, basically flicks, which I suppose makes me someone very inconsistent, I only worked with reaction. Then I went to play with a friend who was an ex-radiant, and he himself said that as a player he was terrible, but he had shots as if he were a lifelong immortal. And in fact I became immortal only in that way What I want to get at, doesn't aiming really seem to me to be as much talent or gamesense as he may seem? Simply training, and adaptability to the game, in my opinion.
I don't play all that often so I prefer to stick to the same sens for each game Although I once forgot to disable Windows mouse acceleration after a doing a fresh install and, well, hit my highest rank with it, then proceeded to play like an absolute potato after disabling it
SOULSLIKES MENTIONED 🗣️🗣️
Problem is reaction time? Simple fix take stimulants gamers 😎 how I peaked rank 92 in overwatch 101
ACtuallllyyyy its not called reaction time its called Response time, i did research studies on Response times in athletes vs non-athletes using a bruce protocol
i genuinely am so confused and dont know if the price for the artisan is that worth it(not doubting it's quality and the fact that it can pass the test of time) but i have a razer gigantus v2 bought for 10$ from 3 years ago and i used only some wet wipes once every few months(i never washed it once). the reason im also debating this is because i wanna buy the hitscan hyperlight on the 20th this month, and since im getting a new mouse i could as well get a new mousepad. but would this upgrade from razer gigantus v2 medium size be worth it to go to an artisan mousepad? thanks in advance. oh also the reason why i dont go with the op1 8k and instead wanna buy a hitscan hyperlight would be that i kinda like my mouse being wireless(although all my mice since before this g pro wireless were wired and it never bothered me personally). oh and the reason why im switching my g pro wireless is the fact that the scroll wheel started to scroll up when i scroll down, and down when i scroll up(it's random like a 30-40% chance it happens, and it's logitech's fault cause of their scroll wheel encoder from what i understand). i have this mouse for 2 years i think at this point but this issue actually started after just 3 months of normal use and it's not like i did anything to it other than just using it normally. totally unacceptable behaviour from logitech and they personally lost me as a customer forever(and also the people that will ask me for peripherals recommendations). still i gotta give it to them this g432 headset is a BANGER, i had this thing for a year now and other than the fact that the leather on the earcups kinda wore out the headset works perfectly fine.
Love the FTL background music
never realized i did it but im re learning how to aim since i was top500 on console OW and now on mnk marvel rivals and kept thinking why my aim was so good on console and why i used to need my monitor closer now i know that one reason i needed my monitor closer to play better is to see the micromovements
What stops someone from randomly slowing down during a strafe and them keep going in the same direction to throw your prediction off?
Amazing quality bro, was shocked when I saw the amount of subs. Subbed 45 seconds into the video Edit (5 mins into the video) : now I see why pros just keep their monitors so close to their faces, literally just about to enter the metaverse
So how did you figure out what sensitivity best suits you for all these different tasks
For a game like Apex, I will usually gauge how much space the enemies have to strafe to predict when will they change direction. That coupled with enough hours in the game, you can accurately estimate the strafe patterns that most players will use. Even shotgun air strafes have fairly predictable patterns. It's the Wingman players that includes crouching in their repertoire that throws me off from time to time. 😅
Most players will have one side that they prefer to strafe longer and usually it's no more than 1.5 seconds. Only new players strafe one direction for longer. That's why if you smurf a lot in Apex, you will feel like you got dumb down in pattern recognition.
im ngl i definitely choked and spit out my redbull when I saw sekiro show up 😭 I've only played elden ring, but yeah that's actually a really amazing example. I'm a kingdom hearts player/speedrunner so that like really actually makes sense to me even if I don't really play souls games.
Thank you Laura, I was having a hard time with that, my goddess 🛐
Thanks for that video. now im able to understand my own gamplay more
thank you so much for making this video! This guide helped me buy my type 99 and its helped my aim in tac shooters so much.
In apex u can just use controller and it will predict opponents movement for you Great video by the way, it’s just funny how people in aim community discuss it and people with controller doesn’t even know what that is but still hits everything
never missing a viscose upload
Would you recommend using the sens randomizer in Kovaaks?
Is the xg249cm good
Viscose would you recommend more the Artisan Zero Soft or XSoft??
my pick is soft personally, but both are very good
Great video! However, I have tried to address this and after thousands of hours I still feel like reaction time holds me back the most mechanically. My avg reaction time now after a few years of gaming is still only 250ms and I feel like I can't hold angles, track fast strafes or even process the animation fast enough. Even with a lot of hours in kovaaks, I'm improved at category with little training (jade) while I spent about double the time doing reactive tracking but I've pretty much plateaued at diamond. What should I do?
try to have a healthy lifestyle bro
@anhkhoale6631 I would say I'm pretty healthy and in shape haha
hey! could you please tell me if you have already used a different wire for the op1? i notice a white cable but im really curious if you tried the lethal op1 8k cable!
