INSTANT POT HAM & BEANS (NO SOAKING needed)/Easy Southern CORNBREAD

Today we are making Instant Pot Ham & Beans. With this recipe, there is no soaking needed, which makes it an easy, quick, delicious meal. While the ham and beans cook, I will show you how I make southern cornbread in a cast iron pan (and my tip for a crispy outer crust).

Ham & Beans Recipe:
12 ounces ham, cubed
Ham bone (if your ham has one)
16 ounces dried navy beans
8 cups water
salt, pepper to taste
Southern Cornbread Recipe:
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup flour (all-purpose)
1 TBSP baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/3 cup oil
1/4 cup honey
1 egg
1 cup milk
The recipe and steps in the video are specifically for a 6 quart Instant Pot as that it what I own. You will need to adjust accordingly if you own a smaller or larger Instant Pot.
